1.
So there I was in Barnes and Noble doing the proper manly thing and reading Naruto manga in a genuine effort to catch up on the series and I was doing pretty well. Then I looked over at my boyfriend and noticed he was reading THIS. Now I'm an open minded person as we all know when I'm not busy bashing poor people or the status quo, or certain national and foreign policies, but this I'm not sure what to think about. If your boyfriend prefers Shojo and you've already caught him gleefully reading/watching Vampire Knight and Chobits... Is he gay? I mean really? He already dresses very smartly, uses moisturizer, but otherwise I'm pretty sure he likes me. What do you people think? Male Shojo reading = Gay?
I read Absolute Boyfriend before I had officially stated I was bisexual. It hadn't hit me yet, the whole "gay" thing. But perhaps your boyfriend just really likes feminine things. Or perhaps he will one day proclaim that he's bisexual. Or maybe he's just gay.
 2. Hmm. I'm just wondering, what's in your wallet? I'll start it off: Taco Bell reciept. 88 dollars in cash. A pocket full of coins. Autograph by Attack Attack! Keyboardist Hot Topic Gift Card I've had since Christmas My wallet is velcro..................... yeah.
 3. I believe that made my day. I didn't realize just how young Rogen still is... 1996-14= 1982 1982+8=1990 1990+10=2000 18 in the year 2000? Wow. Add this many years. Nine. 9+18... 27? Possibly, quite possibly. I don't know why I did all that instead of just looking at his wiki page.
 4.
You kids all dissapointment. Where's the brutality? On a related note, I sure do enjoy this here Attack! Attack! CD. They have some of the awesomest song-titles ever like "Kickin' Wing, Animal Doctor" and "The People's Elbow". No one quite blends Screamo Post-Hardcore with Euro-Dance Pop quite like those kids. Best song, must listen, "Stick Stickly" which starts has two breakdowns. The second starts with a full-on top of the lung scream and then fades into a straight rave-party electro bit. Bad-assery ensues. !
Saw them live last month actually, one of the best shows I've seen in a while. They're not one of my favorite bands, but I won't doubt that they're good at what they do. :] Lately, all I've listened to is Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Bloc Party, and quite a few hardcore bands like Have Heart and Black My Heart. Add Emmure, Carnifex, and Embrace the End to that as well.
 5. "Life is **** and you have to look it in the eye." - Kele Okereke from Bloc Party.
 6. I'm listening to Mates of State right now, just because I've never done so. I'm digging it. I recently got a lastfm... It doesn't tell much about me as far as my favorites go, but it does tell what bands I've been listening to lately, for the most part on my itunes. http://www.last.fm/user/Kazuwanomura
 7. Hmmm. I believe through all my accounts (I've had like three), I've been here for about three to four years. I know I was here during the days when we had separate forums for different anime.. Hmm. Anyway. Favorites: Good ol' Keyblade Wielder- Everybody loved her, I believe.. She participated in my first RPG here as well, and we would always talk and what not, until a point where I was one of her (many) husbands, ha. :] Prem and Digiboy- They used to be like Batman and Robin, you know... and I thought they were just the gosh darn coolest kids. Riflesatrecess- He and I got in arguments all the time. Over music. We were actually kind of friendly to each other off the boards (through AIM) and what not. I guess people just assumed I hated him. At some points I did, haha. But we're all good now. We talk every now and then through Facebook. :] Clurr- She used to be Amelia, I remember.. And then she became Clurr... and we started talking regularly, which we still do. We've written countless bits of music together, and we actually a project together called The Bumbershoots. :] Good times, good times indeed. Nerdsy- I believe he was my "father" at one point in Charles' and Shy's rpg. Indeed. Is it too obvious that I stole my pink text from him? Shouldn't be. I believe his is deep, and mine is hot... There's a difference. Mitch- He was shirtless. And annoying. What's not to love? Naps- He was a cat. Charles- He reminded me of cats. Ikillion- My favorite black guy. Desbreko- He was Link. Gavin (the Gavin Gavin)- He had a cool catch phrase. Gavin (Dragon Warrior)- Nice guy to talk to. :] I think that raps up a good list.
 8. Neither of these are up to me to answer. I am not God. I don't have a religion, whether it be Buddhist, Christian, etc. etc. etc... No one can really answer these questions. For all we know, there is a God. For all the Christians know, there is not. For all we know, God's plan is to make us suffer, but in the end still worship him. Those that don't worship him, go to hell. Not because we are evil, or bad people, no.. Just because of our beliefs. For all we know, however, perhaps God can not yet save us from our suffering, and he intends for the good to go to Heaven. The Bible however speaks differently, and I'm very familiar with the Bible (considering I have read it all the way through, and then some). But from a human standpoint it's impossible to answer. There was no real point in this post, considering, I just said what most people would say anyway, I suppose.
 9. Oh snaps, it's anyone's game now.... For the record... I don't believe in Vampires... Sooo.. Pirates it is.
 10.
Oh, trust me, you're not alone. My friend and I have been huge Blink fans forever so this announcement was fantastic news. I'm not sure if you've been following their progress (admittedly, I got this from my friend) but they're 5 or 6 songs into their next album already. And as an interesting bit of trivia, Travis Barker actually recorded the drums for these tracks with no feeling in his left arm (due to the plane crash he was in). So yeah, I guess to sum it up, I'm excited too. And to stay on topic, I'm currently listening to nothing. The silence is nice while trying to recover from being sick.
I had been wondering how Travis could bounce back from his injuries, right back into Blink 182, but I guess that makes sense... But really... no feeling? Ha. I'm not sure if you're pulling my leg, or not, but that's pretty crazy. I'm listening to Broken Social Scene. Very artsy, very peaceful and creative music. The band actually contains a total of 16 members I believe.
 11.
Blink 182 is getting back together? finally, So is travis barker going back to? He was good with Blink 182 and The Aquabats, a great ska band.
Yeah... they announced them getting back together on February 8th, actually. So we can be expecting a new CD and tour dates.. I'm pretty excited about it all. :D Currently listening to Taking Back Sunday.
 12. Hmm... Really stupid movies... ... the remake of Friday the 13th... I Am Legend. It's just dumb entertainment, that doesn't take any thought process to get into.. I guess that's why so many people enjoy this kind of stuff? Not sure. Many people would argue over IAL, but that's just my opinion.
 13.
You know whose better than Paranoia Dance Party? Streetlight Manifesto! The best ska band ever to grace my ears with god like horns and amazing vocals!
Streetlight Manifesto are great, really can't be compared to PDP though, but SM are an amazing ska band from most of what I've heard by them. I have to be in the mood to listen to ska, though. I'm listening to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Just pure indie rock. :] Well I was when I typed that, but then it changed to Lagwagon. Lagwagon are my favorite punk band, even though I don't listen to a whole lot of punk bands... ...So yeah.. how about Blink 182 getting back together? Anyone excited besides me? No? sigh.
 14. Clurr... with time, with time, indeed... You guys just don't what you're missing out on either... considering this is me every day of my life.
 15. Your hair is magnificent Vicky... :] And nice glasses, Munky... :]]... I actually want some glasses like that but every time I put on any kind of glasses, I look too much like a girl /: ...so no cute glasses for Hunner... :[ They work nicely on you, however, girls just seem to pull off glasses so much better than boys with girly hair cuts.
 16.
Paranoia Dance Party. I saw them a couple nights ago and they were so much fun. They're a local band that fuses ska, disco, and screamo and even some samples from the Pokemon gameboy games. The guitarist broke the neck right off of his white Gibson SG when he hit a cymbal with the headstock during the very first song. But they borrowed another guitar and kept playing! If I had been at the show with different people I probably would have joined the circle pit. I hope I can go see them again sometime.
I got their EP as of... last night, haha. :] It's really good, actually, I just wish there was more distinction from one song to the next. A lot of original vibes on the CD though. :D I'm listening to Maps and Atlases right now. My favorite guitarists ever inhabit that band, and the music is relatively accessible for anyone, even though it's math rock. Tree, Swallows, Houses is my favorite CD by them, and that would be the one that has mega-super-amazing guitar on it. And most of it is pure clean tapping. The band as a whole is amazing, because their bassist and drummer can hold their own just fine, but it's the guitarists that stick out the most.. :]
 17.
I've noticed that the boards seem to be like taking a hit to the Corotid (to lazy for spell check). It comes in spurts, then it'll stop almost dead. Then your sutchers (once again lazy) tear and your spurting again. Since you have faithful medical providers(senior members, mods, admins) it never dies. Hope that metaphor was sufficient to say I have no idea why, and i just wanted to be part of the conversation.
Yes, I Agree! Great Job!!!!!!
 18. I never got good at Oekakis... I'm just not good at working on a computer program period, and I have a horrible mouse hand... Sigh. But your work is amazing, though I'd have to ask... What is up with some of the creatures pictured? Are they from some sort of mythology? Or are they original? (I know where the Transformers are from though, haha.)
 19.
...that things have really slowed down a lot on OB? Why is this? Do people have lives now? Or have they just moved on to newer, shinier forums? If you don't know, then just making something up, because it's fun.
Wait.. is this some kind of joke? Things have slowed down..?
 20. Jesus, my favorite candy is probably Airhead Extremes: Sweetly Sour Belts... They're just amazing, even though when you don't chew them up well enough, and they go down your throat... you'll be in discomfort for nearly a full minute and the reoccurring thought of death lingers in your mind.. ... but definitely tickles my taste buds...
 21.
I just finished listening to Lip Gloss & Black, one of Atreyu's enjoyable songs. I mean, sure, I like them, but to be honest their old stuff isn't very enjoyable. However, I love the stuff from Lead Sails Paper Anchor. The cover of Epic, originally by Faith no More, is a fun song to listen to. Slow Burn, is another fun song too. Becoming the Bull is a Pretty energetic song and Falling Down is a good party song too... love the video. Now I know what you're thinking "Prem, those are just the singles!" But still... Today I've been listening to Saosin quite a bit. Earlier I had no clue that Anthony Green was a part of this band. In all honesty, I don't like his work with Avalon... unless that was just a song... but anyways. I'm interested in listening to The Sound of Animals Fighting as well. Anyways, Saosin is pretty good. Their song I Never Wanted to is pretty good, and I kind of liked Bury Your Head. Hopefully if I get chance to get on the school's computer, I'll listen to some more from them, as well a stuff from The Sound of Animals Fighting. Now that I remember, I might also check out Circa Survive, hopefully I'll like them as well.
Anthony's solo stuff isn't as good as his work with CS and TSOAF. TSOAF are just pure experimental music, and their music is all over the place, really. It's really good, and really weird music. CS is amazing, as far as my opinion goes. Also very good. I'm not much for Saosin, though, but CS really isn't like Saosin. CS is much more experimental, incorporating elements of prog and math... Both bands are definitely worth checking out. I'm listening to Tiger and the Duke by The Sounds of Animals Fighting now.
 22.
I've heard at least a song or two by The Human Abtract, and what I heard was good. There are a fw bands out there I should really get into now that you mention it... By the way, I love PTH's lead singer, he has a good voice no matter what he's doing. But my current favorite singer would have to be Tommy Rogers Jr. from Between the Buried and Me and Giles (Giles isn't heavy at al if you've heard Slumber Party). He has a great range. In aspirations when he hits the high notes, it's amazing. If BTBAM were just progressive rock, his vocals would get them places, I'm sure of it. Still, Claudio Sanchez is a brilliant vocalist. Anyways, I'm listening to Sun of Nothing by BTBAM right now. And since prog is now in my mind, I'll be listening to Fair to Midland and Coheed soon.
Giles is an amazing singer (Not so much on screaming in the studio, but he does he hold up well live).. His best moments shine through on The Silent Circus, I think. It's funny though, when he was asked if he went in any new direction for vocals on that album he laughed and told the interviewer "No... we just took the old vocals and wrote new songs around them..", just joking of course. BTBAM are funny guys though, yeah. Earlier I was listening to Coheed... Just their older album II, and then I listenened to Where You Want to Be by Taking Back Sunday, and now I'm listening to Return to Cookie Mountain by TV on the Radio. Lots of good funky jams on this CD.
 23.
Right now I'm going to listen to some random stuff. Right now I'm listening to Protest the Hero's Bloodmeat, which is some song about slaughter and virgins... a lot of the time virgins.
I actually saw them live on the 7th with As I Lay Dying and The Human Abstract... You'd like The Human Abstract. :] I'm listening to Bloc Party... They've maintained a spot in my top three for sometime now. I've got almost all their stuff except for Always New Depths (I can't find it yet... :/).. Just really amazing band.
 24.
If only I could get my Circle Takes the Square CD to download so I could put it on my MP3. Sadly, the CD sucks and the only complete song I can listen to on it is A Crater to Cough In, which is one of my favorite CTTS songs. I'm just dying for them to release Ritual of Names, or whatever their next album is called.
I love that CD. It's their best work, considering the only other stuff they've done in their split with Pg. 99, their self-titled, as well as being featured on 65daysofstatic's "Conspiracy of Seeds". All of it's good, either way. Ritual of Names has been in the works since right after As the Roots Undo. It's 2009 now, so that's about four years. It's all cause of lineup changes. I'm looking forward to it, even though it's a little bit different than their past stuff... I'm listening to The Jonbenet.
 25. Believe it or not, Charles is actually under my bed... He's been covert ops for some time now, but he swears that he can't leave, due to an advanced race of Former OB Mod Eating Bunny Rabbits. Wait... what?
