I told you the corruption would begin to unfold in Chapter 3, the events in my latest post are the prelude to the discovery. Anyways, post about how you were able to enter the gates, how you helped attack and kill Gual. If anyone have any different ideas, don't hesistate to express them. [COLOR="1234"]This is just a short little prologue/short story that has to do with an idea that's been rolling in my head for a few weeks. The story's original name was The Gunslinger, but I looked around the net and Stephen King already has a book called The Gunslinger. This is just a short thing that will introduce you to teh beginning a little bit, it's like a trailer. [hr]100[/hr] [CENTER][SIZE="6"][U][FONT="Impact"]THE GUNSLINGER INCARNATE[/FONT][/U][/SIZE][/CENTER][/COLOR] [COLOR="Sienna"][B]"Ethan, did you get the mail today?" [/B]A deep, tall voice echoed down a long, dark hallway. The voice was that of twenty-one year old, David Oswald. David was tall and skinny. [B]"Yeah, I got something, and you have a few bills." [/B]Ethan replied as he placed a few envelopes on David's desk. Ethan was a medium sized, and very muscular teenager that David knew since he was five. Ethan had long black hair, and dark blue eyes. Ethan also had an unusual birthmark shaped like a star on his back, and he had a small scar across his neck. [B]"Well, I'm going to be upstairs Ethe, see you in a few hours, we'll goto the bar tonight." [/B]David waved and walked up the dark ceder steps to his room. Ethan, sat down in David's recliner and opened the letter addressed to him. [B][I][INDENT]2-7-23 Dear Ethan, You might not remember me, but I sure do remember you. We went to middle school together when we were 14 and we were great friends. Oh, how could I forget, my name is Breanne Flin, if that helps you remember. Anyways, could you meet me at the park on 2-9-23 at 8 P.M.? I'd love to catch up. Your old friend, Breanne Flin. P.S. It's going to be great to see you again![/INDENT][/I][/B] Ethan sat on the edge of the recliner and thought about this Breanne girl, and suddenly it hit him. She was his old crush in 8th grade. They were really good friends, until Breanne moved when she was seventeen. Ethan was ecstatic to see her, she was a good person and an even better friend. He could remember her personality, she was sweet, funny and caring. Plus she was very cute. The clock read 5:30 P.M., Ethan had to get ready. ************** It was 6:30, and Ethan was walking the streets of New York City. He was headed to the park to greet Breanne. But something was off, why did she try reconnecting with Ethan? Ethan liked her, he didn't even think about her until now. But Ethan didn't care, he didn't want to blow her off and feel like a prick. After a few minutes of mindless walking, Ethan arrived at the park, however, Breanne wasn't there. The only person there was a man wearing a weird black robe, and he was holding something similar to a blade in his hand. He also had a sling with a small pistol in it. The park was dead silent, even the cold breeze stopped as the man took a few steps toward Ethan. Ethan looked around to see that time had stopped! The cars stopped moving, the clouds stopped moving, even the animals stopped moving. [I]What the hell is going on? [/I]Ethan asked himself. A few seconds past and the man in the robe walked toward Ethan. With every step a metal clang erupted from the man's feet. [B]"Who are you?!" [/B]Ethan yelled after obtaining some bravery. The man removed his hood to reveal an almost mirror image of Ethan. But the man's eyes were red and his face was a bit darker. [B]"You don't know me, yet you do know me..."[/B] He said in a dark, gloomy voice. [B]"What do you mean?" [/B]Ethan asked as he stepped back cautiously. [B]"I am the Gunslinger, and so are you... you don't know yet, but your life is about to change."[/B] ************* Ethan awoke in his bed, he was breathing heavily, he whipped his face and sat up. He was panting like a dog in a stove. The same dream, for the twelfth day in a row, what the hell does it all mean? Ethan asked himself. It was 12 P.M. and the sun was hidden behind the clouds. Suddenly he heard a knock on the door. [B]"Ethan, you received a letter from some girl. Her name is Breanne, she wants to see you tomorrow at 7 in the evening."[/B] Ethan opened the letter realizing that the dream might be more real than he thought.[/COLOR]

I love every track on this album, no matter what. But songs like Beast and the Harlot I don't listen to much anymore cause those songs are EVERYWHERE I GO! waking the Fallen is one of the only metalcore CDs I like, but I have only listened to it about 13 times. [B]Breaking Benjamin - Phobia & We Are Not Alone[/B] Even though I don't listen to them much anymore, I still admire BB. They aren't like WOW HOLY **** THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!111!!1, but the albums are a little bit of proof that Breaking Benjamin offers a little different taste to the Post-Grunge mainstream. Why I've listened to both albums, IDK 54 times or more. [B]Coheed and Cambria - Every album they've released![/B] Do you really want me to explain myself again and my love for these guys. Plus if youa sk my friends, I have an obsession. They are a very good band, and they add a little oomph to music now a days. Plus GAIBS4:FFTTEOM fills me with rage every time I hear Welcome Home. And Wake Up is me and my gf's song. [B]Fair to Midland - Fables from a Mayfly[/B] These guys are another epic band, they've been compared to Co&Ca as well as TMV. Some people on the boards might not think so, but I do, and listen to the album, it's very creative. I DARE you guys to go out and buy it. [B]Mudvayne - Lost & Found[/B] Despite the fact that a lot of the better songs are on The End of all Things to Come, this album has been played more. They are a bit different form other Nu-MEtal groups IMO, and they are quite enjoyable for me. [B]Three Days Grace - One-X[/B] I don't even listen to it now, but I love this album, it's pretty good, if you like the genre.[/COLOR]

However, sometimes they don't need to act and they should wait a bit before acting, but it's nothing big. I don't see a need for improvement.[/COLOR]

Yes, he was a dick, and he could have found a better altenrative to his methods, but he was just a cool guy for me to learn about. Anyways, my gf said she went to some Insane Asylum, or some place like that and one of her freinds saw 'god help us' on the walls of a house nearby. at a nearby school, me my gf and two of my other friends went into the Elementary side. This was in late November, early December, and it was COLD! Anyways, shes very keen to spiritual things, and she could tell the place was haunted. Anywasy, I yelled 'if anyone is in there, knock on the door.' Anyways, no one was on or near the door at the time, and no one was in that part of the building, when suddnely me and one of teh girls I was with heard a knock on teh door. And later my gf got pushed down by an unseen force. It was my first encounter, and now I do believe in ghosts, even though I already did, but I had my doubts. Anyways, other than that, I haven't heard much, and I can't rememeber much.[/COLOR]

The boy just put his head down and shook it. [B]"Zenos, do you ever think of maybe, I don't know, acting like a priest and not a jackass." [/B]The boy said to himself. The boy's name was Endorph, but his friends called him Endy for short. Endy had silver hair, black eyes and he wore black all the time. He always had tight pants on, and he was always listening to music. Oddly, he was in the Church of Prophetism in his home town of Kirkwind, and he was about different than most of teenagers at the church. But, he also hung out with the outcasts of the Church in his town. Also, he was stuck with the worst Prophet, Zenos. Zenos was a smart-ass, he was cocky and he showed off often. Over 500 years ago, Zenos was sealed away into an ancient sword, which is now in Endy's possession. Anyways, Endy was pretty much the underlings of the church. But it was his destiny to be partnered with Zenos, like all people who have Prophets, he his stuck with Zenos until death. [B]"No, actually I can't. When you have godly powers like me, you have nothing cooler to do than to show off your shit!"[/B] Zenos hollered. He could choose if people heard him or not, and he chose not to keep to just himself and Endy. But no, instead, the whole building heard him. They looked back at him and gave dirty looks left and right, Endy looked around and frowned. [B]"You ass-munchers got something to say about me and Endy? Eh?" [/B]A few seconds of silence ensued. [B]"That's what I thought you church whipped pussies, yeah keep-"[/B] [B]"Silence Zenos!"[/B] hollered the paster. Father Donello was different from most priests. He didn't care if someone wasn't Prophian. despite this, the town of Kirkwind was NOT excepting of those who were say, pagan. In fact, people who were gay, or belonged to other religion, were often ridiculed for it. But with people like Father Donello and Endy, it wasn't completely bad. Donello was also excepting of Endorph in particular. you see, Endy listened to heavy Metal, and other types of Rock music that the town didn't really 'enjoy.' In fact, the town of Kirkwood was obsessed with country. But father Donello didn't' care about that, he only cared about what was on the inside. Endy was a broken child, he lives in the church because he's orphaned, and Donello doesn't want to make that worse. [B]"Anyways, today, we get ready for the yearly journey to the Sacred City of Helia, where a pool of holy energy rests. Here, all of you will be able to bask in the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ's holy spirit energy. The energy from which has kept him alive in the body of Lord High-Priest Jonathan Veldomeer of France. We will pray there and give energy to him, so that he may speak to us. We will leave on the flight tomorrow at sun-rise. Pack up, for we shall head to Yurope for a feast, then the pilgrimage shall begin." [/B]father Donello bowed and walked to him chambers. It was time to leave, as everyone in the church did, except for Endorph. After everyone was gone, Endy found himself alone standing, he decided to lay down on one of the pews.[B] "Damn, it's hard to believe, after 500 years, that bearded fucker hasn't just slipped and fell into the water..."[/B] Zenos said. [B]"What do you mean Zenos, why do you have a grudge against Jesus?"[/B] [B]"Think Endy, THINK!" [/B]Zenos hollered inside Endy's head. Endy felt a jolt of pain go down his spine. [B]"It's because of him, and his damn father, that I'm in this dumb body to begin with. Just because I didn't act [I]'holy like my brothers'[/I], the bastard sealed me away."[/B] A moment of silence surrounded the church. It was 7 P.M. and the clock tower rung. It chimed for a few seconds, than Zenos spoke op. "[B]Anyways you sac of lifeless meat, why not go jerk-off in the bathroom, shoot the picture of Jesus for me, and get to bed. You need the rest."[/B] It didn't seem like it, but Zenos cared for Endy a lot. ------- Get to it guys, we are trying to go to Yurope to either stop the Pilgrimage for personal reasons, or to go on it. [COLOR="1234"][B][U]Claudio Sanchez - Coheed and Cambria, The Prize Figther Inferno[/U][/B] Out of every vocalist I've heard, Claudio Sanchez is the ebst. He has a Geddy Lee style voice, but in comparison, Claudio is better than Geddy Lee. He can go high, and he can scream like a vulture. But, some people hate his voice. My freind likes his voice, so does my gf, but my other freind thinks his voice his annoying. Hoenslty, it's amazing and it makes every song he sings, beautiful. [B][U]Ben Burnley - Breaking Benjamin[/U][/B] His voice has alwayss soothed me, listening to the Accoustic version of The Diary of Jane puts me to sleep, his voice is just angelic. Plus, I admit, I like his scream too. Well it's more of a grunt, but whatever. [B][U]Maynard James Keenen - Tool, A Perfect Cirlce, Puscifer[/U][/B] All I can say is, listen to Vicarious, Shcism and Ticks and Leeches. IMO, they are the best showings of his vocals.[/COLOR]

It will have to be tomorrow, today I had band practice (I suck btw, so I fugred out what I really want to do with my life... can you say Guitar?) and I hung out with just my friends, well the guy ones anyways. Believe me, lately I've been flowing in an Estrogen sea with all the girls lately. BTW, the RPG will span across 2 volumes. I also watch a bit on Vampires, specifically one of the most famous, Vlad the Imalper. He interests me most, the way he tortured people.
