Probably nothing like the Philosaper Stone for the alchemy bit, but now that you mention it, I'm wondering too. I don't remember much of the Victorian era, besides what I learned form art class in 5th & 6th grade. >_> I'll just wiki it. EDIT: This is a revoloutionary new RP, so what are the other features besides the Landmark System? Is there like some kind of Character Creation and stuff like that? Or is it through the story?

If the price was right, what would you do?
And I'd offer you several batches of homemade cookies to not delete OtakuBoards. Considering that it's unlikely that any member even has a million dollars to give you, I think that's an offer that you would be foolish to overlook.
Darn, cookies or 1-mill. Christ I'm at a standstill. I'd kick Blayze in the man-cooch for kicing DeM for 1,000,000 dollars! No offense, but no one kicks DeM's nuts expect me and Fyxe. Actually no, I'd take the whole cast of the OC to dinner than throw them into a lake for a million dallars -
Actually, sometimes women can get offended if you say "I don't want to beat you up cause you're a girl." It's happened to me before. And for the love of Bengie, don't be a nark! How about talking it out with her, man-to-man? Reporting her is just showing your weakless against someone else, and the other girls could take advantage of that. That is a last resort. Now come on people! DB, tell her you're gay, and if she leaves you alone, that proves she likes you. But talk with the men at school first, so they don't think you're gay and en up making fun of you for something not real. Don't hit her of caorse, but show no mercy besides. She started the war, and you should end it, lest the abuse continues.

Oh, sorry about the name change I gave you Inidff. I asn't paying attention.
But how in the hell can I forget someone's name after knowing them for a few months?
Sorry, A_M. Damn it, now I feel like a complete asshole. But I agree, Rath or Bech, whatever fusion of names you feel like saying, sounds like a great team-up. And yes, I've been watching to much news and decided to mix Rach with Beth (Rath), and Beth and Rach. (Bech)

So it's sort of like Final Fantasy 12 where you can go hunting for monsters, but you don't have to. But you can also roam around midst events? That's how I see it anyways.

Clueless about what Rach? I'd really love to know. :p Sorry about my horrid spelling on the other post. I just downloaded Firefox and it takes a while to get used to that's all. What really got e about this RPG is that it's steampunk. My favorite genre of story. Plus, after watching FMA after a while, the alchemy part seems to draw me in. >_> I've vowed to actually join the RPGs I sign-up for so I'm definitely joining in on the festivities.

"Aaryanna's a sassy, spicy girl when she has pepper spray!" I can see that headline when Aaryanna sees someone getting attacked by a big animal and helps them, as dorky as the headline sounds. But I've got nothing, get a girl to pound her. I'm sure she has one female enemy trying to beat 'er up. Or talk it out. Giving her a big ***** slap is the last resort, then you'd want to do it after school.

They only had one other song sadly. I used project playlist. But I'll check the third one out too. I also got a few Amon Amarth songs. :) Anyways to the song Falling Snow. I could only get to about 33% before it messed up. But the song was amazing, at first it sounded like an alternative metal piece, to me, then it progressed into a beautiful folk-metal masterpiece. Plus the vocals were great and the lyrics were very-well written IMO. Sucks that I cant find a CD, now I'm really itching for soem Agalloch.
How would not liking folk metal have anything to do with not liking Agalloch?
I was thinking the same thing. So what if you don't like folk-metal, Agalloch is ****ing Agalloch. EDIT: I actually looked them up again, and someone put on a song overnight. I've now got Kneel to The Cross & Dead Winter Days. (Or nights' forgot which word >_>)

Fun, Weird, or Dumb Facts People Might not Know

Here is a weird fact abut China I read from the book, along with a couple others. In Tales from Early Histories, the Chinese historian Ssu-ma related that the Yin Dynasty king, Chou-hsin used the following mixtures as aphrodisiacs: The Hunting Lion: the paws of bears simmered over a slow fire, and flavored with the horn of a rhinocerus and distilled human urine Celestial Thunder: The tongues of a hundred peacocks spiced with chili powder from the western provinces and flavored with the pserm of pubesant boys. Three-Day Glory: Soy beans miced with fresh ginseng, the penis of an ox, and dried human placenta. The liver is a gland, not an organ. What do the following towns have in common: Dayton, Atlanta, Cleveland, Philidalphia, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Bangor, Hartford, New Haven, Phoenix Stamford, Urbana and Newark? They are all towns in New York State. What's important about the third one is that Norfolk is my hometown. Cool how a small neighborhood can end up in a published book. -
Well, I can see why Jake and DB are fans of Agalloch, I've got a song on my ProjectPlaylist playist, and while only 11% of it is loaded, the song is beautiful. The song is Falling Snow, btw. I've also got "And the Great Cold death of the Earth" on the list too, and I'm heavily anticipating it. I'll update this later on tonight when I've heard the whole thing.

Well, I've decided to start a story differently this time. Usually I just go head first into something, this time I took the time to comply a few things together. I'd really love feedback on what you guys think. Anyways, it's another story related to P&A, however just like the last one, you don't need prior knowledge of P&A to get this. This story is called The Busted & Shattered, however I don't know if that's the final name. THE BUSTED & SHATTERED CONCEPT BY: Rick 'Gunslinger' O. STORY-LINE: The Western Continent is very different from the eastern Continent that houses the kingdom of Doma. The kingdom of Yprez is falling after the war of Aryla, an island north that was in conflict with Yprez. Roan Terrace, a middle class boy from Yprez has just discovered an ability that has been lying dormant in his blood for years. But underneath the kingdom, A secret organization dedicated to the resurrections of three beings know as the Tri-Magi. The Tri-Magi are magic beings that helped to balance evil in the world. The three evils are Pain, suffering and desolation. The magi were destroyed by Zaelgya Terrace 500 years ago, and what was left were two children Valance and Nero. The three are trying to resurrect their masters that died before their time. However, there is another force behind it all, and in the end evil might have it’s way. But if Roan and his friends Claudio and Hailey can stop this, the kingdom and the world may be safe. And with Trachos Arthur fighting half-way across the earth, the paths may cross and it could erupt into something bigger than the planet itself. CHARACTERS: Main Protagonists: Roan Terrace, Claudio Munson, Hailey Jordan, Bryan Redhorn, Conrad "Conner" Gleem Main Antagonists: Valance, Nero, Tri-Magi Runus, Demus, Belphus SETTING: Kingdom of Yprez: The capital of the Western Continent. For half a century the kingdom has been at war with the people of Aryla. Now with the land destroyed, the kingdom ahs to rebuild. Western Continent: The Western continent is home to the world’s most advanced technology. The kingdom of Siren’layr supplies this technology to the east and mid-continents. The land however, is very rough and filled with dessert, unlike the East‘s grassy and moist land. Island of Aryla: The island of Aryla broke off the Western continent to form it’s own nation. Thought to be a waste of time, the rest of the world turned it’s back on Aryla. But fifty years ago, it finally retaliated at the world to thought little of it. Now it’s technology is starting to get far more advanced, and this could pose a thread to the continents. Eastern Continent: Home to Trachos, Alvosh and Ilo. This is where Doma was destroyed completely due to an illness that took over. Trachos is on a quest to destroy his father and avenge his friend Maloney, who was killed by her adoptive brother. But a trip to the east could prove vital to Roan and his friends. Tower of Shal’vlaya: An ancient relic called the Ourabolos rests here. It is said to awaken the powers of anyone who touches it. It is also said to house the spirit of god himself. TERMILOGY: The Curse: The curse is brought only to those of the Kingdom of Yprez. The curse makes a human’s blood turn pitch black. It also carries a gene that allows a human to have increased strength and abilities. However, no one ahs gotten the curse and the only person to have it is Roan, however he is unaware. The MIA: A group of soldiers who disappeared during the war. They have been sighted throughout the kingdom but they were all presumed dead. Magick: A mystic force that allows one to use powers brought by mysterious means. The practice was modernized 100 years ago by Toteleem Zalith. Now it is used as energy, entertainment and defense. Magick divided into three subgroups. Rune Magick, the uses of runes to create Magick. Body Magick, the use of the body to quickly activate a spell. This happens through a gem that can be put on a person. The gems can be removed or changed. And finally there is Summoning Magick, which is the rarest form and requires lots of strength. Those that can use it, can summon beasts and animals with magical powers. The Collective Conscience of Yvrest: Mt. Yvrest is the tallest and largest mountain on the planet. The innards of the mountain contain an ancient temple built by an unknown civilization. Deep inside is a gigantic orb of light called the Collective Conscience of Yvrest. Inside is the thoughts of all those who died in the civilization. However everyone who has tried to break it or understand it, became deranged and mad. The Blood and Body Shredder: A machine the Arylians created that could tear a body to pieces and shred it’s cells. Then the left over parts and liquids would be gathered and turned into pure energy and pure elements. Not much else is known about this Arylian creation. ---- This time I decided to flesh it out more, and I have a bigger diea on what I want to do with this story, more than any other story I've done. If this stotry goes off and finished, I'm going to finish P&A and the last story of the P&A trilogy which is about the third continent. The original story was my favorite concept, so i decided to conitnue it.

Well, to answer that Allamorph, ones personality is developed around parents, and friends who sometimes share those personality attributes that you have. Personality is inherited, but certain traits get influenced either slowly or faster than other traits depending on the environment.
I happen to believe that humans are products of their own choices and how they've used their freedom to choose. People who say they 'can't help' something I tend to view as weak willed. But I also understand that this is not a wildly popular view. It's just what I believe.
Now I also agree with this. So I teeter on each side of the debate. I never really make up my mind completely.

Rcmacdonald, don't worry about rambling. We do that a lot here. I myself love to ramble.

Sorry about the misunderstaning. She was going out with the girl at the time of being kicked out, and she wasn't acting it out. She was also kicked out of the locker room. Being bi by the girls wasn't the best thing to say. I didn't exactly mean it like that, I'm just not good at explaning stuff like that right. As for the deeper details, about the bathroom incident: I don't know much more.
-
I know they're lousy. And no, I was using language as an overall. But it's true, it's not choice. As James said you can't just say, I'm going to be gay today and have it be true. If Sandy was here, he could explain it better than I can.
-
Good point. If women didn't exist we wouldn't be such show offs. And, no I haven't been on earth long, so I'm still discovering stuff about this planet. I thought I was bi once, but as I found my identity, I discovered I wasn't. Sadly I don't know the difference between that and denial. All I know is denial means you don't think you are straight, and for some reason I think there is more to it. :animeswea As for telling your friends, true freinds won't turn their back on you because of orientation. Otheriwse, if they don't except you for who you are, they are not your friends. James: What are the people's views about homosexuality in Australia? Raiha: She wsn't acting bisexual, she is bisexual. She's dated a girl ad she likes girls. Actually there was this protest at her school because they wouldn't let a lesbian couple become homecoming queen and king. Startign next year, the school is allowing same-sex couples become king and king or queen and queen, which I think is a brave step for this area. Where I live, people aren't too open about these things and that ead's to threats and trouble.

Aceburner, being gay isn't a choice. Every gay guy I know, hell, every gay person I know has said that. Someone I know has even said 'we can't help it if we were born that way' when eh talked about getting maid fun of. And as far as I'm concerened, babies are born with sexual orientation. They just aren't aware of it yet, as with memories, language and other various things. And I know if my girlfriend was told that she couldn't go to school because she's bi, I'd beat the living **** out of whoever told her so. Discriminating against a women just because she's a women? Now if people would research, woman are the superior race in this world, without them, where would us men be? It's a fact that women are showed to have a slightly higher I.Q. than men. Women deserve respect, and the men who don't give them that should. Than there are the women-disrespecting-women. My girlfriend was kicked out of the girl's bathroom for being bi by the other girls, and if I were her, I wouldn't stand for it. And maybe we should make a new thread for women discrimination. >_>

Not necceserily, I hate the word Homophobe, but I'm not afraid of it. Some people don't go near homosexuals because they think they'll get ***-raped. I don't think that, but people at my school think that and it pisses me off. Hey, girls don't come up to you and rape you, so why would a gay guy do it? People just don't think. Now that bastard Phelps isn't afraid either, he's just didiotic and he just doesn't people. People are born gay, they can't help it. I don't feel comfortable when gay people talk about kissing, having sex with and loving other men, but I don't hate them for it. Some guys actually want to beat up homosexuals, and that is vile, cruel and moronic. And usually the guys who act like gays are immoral are usually hiding somethign about themselves. EDIT: I get what you mean James. I have a friend named James ironically, who says he was homophobic, but his friend was one and he knew it. I doon't think he would be hanging around him if he was really homophobic. Homophobic is an accurate word a lot of the time. But in cases like Phelp's, it's just ignorance and stupidity that fuel hate, not fear.
-
Doesn't homophobe mean homophibic? Afraid of homosexuals? Most of these guys aren't afraid of them, they just misunderstand and hate them. I hate the word homophobe, it's meaning isn't thought out well.

But, get a gay president, and they'll probably become excepted more. It's common in legistlature. As for Bush vetoing it, he needs to get a ****ing motive and buckle down. Another issue that's pissing me off his the withdrawl of toops and the health-care crisis. He keps vetoing the laws that could actualy help up. I hope the new president isn't a big **** up. But it's not all Bush's fault. It's also the dumbasses that voted for him.

The Extreme/Heavy Music That Isn't Metal Thread!
Aberinkula replied to Jakehammaren's topic in Noosphere
Serj is excellent. He definitely isn't a generic voice/artist, he's unique and he bring good taste to a genre which I've been losing faith in. Maynard of Pusicfer is actually friends with Paten Oswald from Ratatou. Maynard is amazing, and tool is pretty cool so Pusifer gets an Ain my books. ****, I'm still laughing at Cuntry Boner. So Avenged, what are the best songs on Elect the Dead and Avenged Sevenfold? -
I'm reading this book that has some facts that are crazy. This book has about 2201 facts. On the front flap they have a fact that says "In 1740 a cow was fond guitly of sorcery in France and publicly hanged"! Now come on, that's funny. There was also a fact that 'to die' used to be slang for having an orgasm. So I ask you, are there some facts that you know that are weird, cool or people might not know about? Well, tell them here. But first I have to tell you some quoted straight from the book. "At the boment of beng hanged, many observers have noted, the victim, if male, often has an erection and may even ejaculate." "Not able to Fornicate, was the name of a nineteenth-centruary northwestern American Indian chief." "A ball of glass will bounce higher than a ball made of rubber. A ball of solid steel will bounce higher than one made entirely of glass" "In Gulliver's Travels Jonathan Swift described the two moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos, giving their exact size and speeds of rotation. He did this more than one hundered years before either moon was discovered." And finally, "If one counted twenty-four hours a day, it would take 31,688 years to count to a trillion. If a trillion dollar bills were stacked one on top of the other the stack would be twice as high as Mt. Everest. A trillion doller bills laid end to end would circle the world 3,882 times." Interesting aren't they?

The Extreme/Heavy Music That Isn't Metal Thread!
Aberinkula replied to Jakehammaren's topic in Noosphere
Oh come on Jake, we know you love to prove members wrong. :p But yeah, Jake is the best member when it comes to understanding music here. Anyways... tomorrow I plan on buying the new Avenged Sevenfold album
(don't say anything, you might not like A7X but I do, so don't tell me that they suck cause I just won't listen
& -because DB said so- I'm going to buy Frances the Mute by TMV. I actually tried to study Metal, but , but I don't other legitimate sites other than Enyclopedia Metallum, and that site jsut doens't load with this ISP I got. It did when I had AOL. >_>
