[SIZE="1"][COLOR="DarkSlateGray"]This is my latest attempt at a story... again. This time I'm going for a blend of drama and fantasy, with a little humor as well. I like this story so far, it's actually pretty funny considering the main character. I've whipped up a little prologue as well as a quick little tidbit on the main characters. I really like this story, and I think I may even make an RPG as a side-story. That is still undetermined. One demon named Andras was vicious, evil and murderous. He commanded legions of demons and monsters in his conquest for the world. After years of reign, the Great Demon Lord Beelzamue overthrew him and cast him away. His spirit wandered the earth and soon his soul became pure. After the age of demons was over, his spirit housed itself in the soul of a child every 1000 years. Around the age of 16, the child with his soul inside them, gained extraordinary powers they would use to save the world. For over 5000 years, Andras went through 5 different bodies. Every person he was housed in was male. But now, in the year 2010 the new soul of his was quite different. Darren Lee Amory was a young boy living in the town of Threwst with his friends Chloe and Jason. Unlike the 5 warriors before him, he wasn't interested in having children with any female. Andras, despite being pure hearted, had an undeniable thirst for woman, which came as an upset to young Darren's homosexuality. Darren learned about Andras when he became thirteen, he didn't know the name of the demon inside him until he became 16. His 16th birthday was the day everything changed, and Darren as well as Chloe, lost everything they had in a terrible catastrophe. Now the three wander the country-side searching for their old friend Jason. What seems like a small search for an old friend, is much more than it seems. Darren, Chloe and their companion Ryan have been thrown into something, much, much larger than anticipated.[/INDENT][/COLOR] [COLOR="Silver"][SIZE="4"][B][U][CENTER]THE CHARACTERS[/CENTER][/U][/B][/SIZE][/COLOR] [COLOR="gray"][B][U]Darren Lee Amory - 17 Years Old[/U][/B] [INDENT]A homosexual boy born with the spirit of a demon inside him. The demon inside Darren known as 'Andras.' Andras was once a conquerer of the demon world, he was known as vicious and ruthless until the day the Demon-God threw his reign off. Ever since than Andras' demonic heart became pure and now every 1000 years, he is housed within a child to help save the world. Andras, while being one of pure heart now, still has a terrible thirst for women, which comes as a problem to Darren's homosexuality. So once and a while Darren suddenly urges for woman, yet he is able to sustain his 'false' relationship with Chloe without any catastrophe. Darren grew up in the town of Threwst until one day the town burned down, he suspects his past friend, Jason to be the blame. Darren has the ability to see small white windows or 'Walls' as they're often called, that allow him to see the future of people, but he only sees their future before their death, so he usually ends up having to save that person so the future he sees in them is possible. Darren is a funny, and mostly happy teenager. Darren isn't very strong and Andras doesn't take lightly to racism against Darren's homosexuality. Darren also possesses the power of fire. Darren keeps in contact with his parents, the only other people still alive to have lived in Threwst, they travel the world and are high-class archaeologists.[/INDENT] [B][U]Chloe Leonna Clarice - 16 Years Old[/U][/B] [INDENT]Darren's friend, and sister-like companion. She is the only person left in Darren's hometown, so they ventured on and moved. Chloe acts as Darren's girlfriend around some people to hide his homosexuality as Darren is easily angered by racism. Chloe isn't very quiet and she can be very awkward at times. Darren often complains that they sometimes kiss in public areas by calling it 'unnatural and just plain wrong.' Chloe is able to control water, and often uses that to heal herself and Darren. Chloe is really not interested in relationships because the three wander around a lot. She is the only one who hasn't developed a wall ability, but with her ability to control water, it is thought that she may possess a wall power. Sometimes when Andras comes out in Darren, she beats him when he womanizes. Chloe takes offense when people open doors for her or refuse to fight her because she is a woman. Chloe is often the glue that holds Ryan together emotionally, and keeps Darren out of trouble. Chloe's mother died before she turned 10 and she lived with her grandmother, yet she died during the fire that burned down Threwst. Who and where her father is, is currently unknown[/INDENT] [B][U]Ryan John Veinheim - 18 Years Old[/U][/B] [INDENT]Darren's best friend. Ryan dislikes most people. For some reason he doesn't talk to anyone but Darren and Chloe. Ryan, although straight, is known to be somewhat smitten my Darren and Chloe and has tried to make moves on them.' He is very attractive. Not much is known about him. Ryan is able to see walls of green that allow him to see people's desires. While he doesn't talk much, he talks to Darren and Chloe quite often. The reason he lacks emotion and doesn't talk is because he saw his own true desires and doesn't want to become the evil image he's seen in his visions. Unlike Darren and Chloe, Ryan doesn't use his powers often, yet he possesses the power of darkness. Ryan was found in the city of Rosenberg, Darren discovered him following him and Chloe out of town and picked him up, that was about 2 months ago. Ryan lived in a shelter and has no knowledge of his parents.[/INDENT] [B][U]Jason Dillinger - 17 Years Old[/U][/B] [INDENT]Darren's old friend, and first love. He used to be Darren's friend until he discovered powers of his. His powers made him conceited and he now wishes to converse with no one as he sees them as low-lives. Jason has the power to see 'black walls' of light that show him people's fears. He finds this superior to Darren's ability and now wants nothing to do wit him. Jason wanders around aimlessly searching for power, yet truly he is weak, Jason has the power of ice. Jason killed his parents before leaving Threwst.[/INDENT][/COLOR] [COLOR="silver"][B][U][SIZE="4"][CENTER]WALL POWERS AND THE ELEMENTS[/CENTER][/SIZE][/U][/B][/COLOR] [COLOR="Gray"][INDENT]In this alternative version of our world, some people are born with the power to see walls of light. They look like windows and usually hover around people. People with the ability to see windows can also use elemental magic. walls come in various colors and shades, and the powers of each person are different, some even the same as others. Mostly, however, the walls show the person who can see them, the owners personal thoughts and even their futures. Other different possibilities are possible as well. There are a few basic elements too. Wall and elemental powers are all genetic and passed on mostly by females, and rarely, males.[/INDENT] [CENTER][B][U]THE BASIC ELEMENTS[/U][/B] Fire Water Earth Air Light Darkness Rock Ice[/COLOR] [COLOR="Silver"][SIZE="4"][U][B]DEMONS[/B][/U][/SIZE][/CENTER][/COLOR] [COLOR="Gray"][INDENT]Millions of years before mankind, demons ruled the world as well as the universe, some as small as ants, and even some as large as stars. One demon, known as Beelzamue, was the demon-king. He was the god of demons and was never seen by anything or anyone, not even his own kind. Now demons are still alive, but not as numerous or even as large as the ones so many years ago. Some people are chosen to protect places from demons, these people are known as "The Crusaders." They area special branch of government that deal with demons and other creatures. But than again I can't get married because gay marriage isn't legal here in New York. Yeah I know, I could go to a different state, but why the trouble? Yeah, so don't plan too far ahead when you're this young, I never think that far ahead when I'm in a relationship myself. I mean, I know I'm going to be 15 next month, and to be honest I think I'm in love with my best friend. As for the depression, just be wtih your friends for a while, that always helps me. In fact, right now I'm sort in one of those depression things cause of my ex telling me she likes my friend, and the fact that I like him too (and a bunch of various other things). And also he's wicked mad at me, which hurts... but my friends are helping me, tomorrow I'm suposed to go somewhere with my other best friend and if I go, I'm sure it will keep my mind off of him. But something you shouldn't do: is blame yourself, that will just make matters worse. Usually the first thing I would do was blame myself, but I didn't this time and it doesn't bother me so much. Also, I agree with Lucy on everything said. And take Raiha's advice, don't live on false hope. A few days ago I started doing that and believe me, it just makes the wanting worse. Besides, it's the summer, live it up![/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR="DarkSlateGray"][SIZE="1"]Well, I for one, am really happy this show is going to be on Sci-Fi, I managed to get half-way through episode 4 on Veoh, than to hear this news was a relief to me. I love the show, it's awesome. I do agree, it's not really to be taken seriously, but who cares, not every anime needs to be taken seriously. And also, the action is ****ing sweet. As for Simon being a kid, it's not that big of a deal. There's still Kamina and Yoko until the time skip, so it's nothing to worry about. Also, I think Simon is a pretty good character, hes not annoying like Naruto, or over-the top 'feel bad for me' like Sasuke is, so you shouldn't really have a problem. He can be a bit naive at times imo, but still hes a cool character. [spoiler]He goes through some boob torture in episode two, poor guy.[/spoiler][/SIZE][/COLOR]

My life was pretty fun up until 7th grade, than the crap hit the fan. But behind all the sadness, lies happiness. And as long as you're still in tune with that, you'll be fine. Right now I still have to deal with my ex-girlfriend and my best friend . My ex flipped out cause she's number 3 on my Myspace top. And y best friend is mad at me cause supposedly, I'm gay and I should stop living people's lives and live my own. which is none of his business. But through it all, there's' still that happiness, a glimmer of hope in the eye of sorrow. So people who want to end their life should realize it's never hopeless.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

I can't understand the lyrics, but I don't care they're a pretty talented group. Billy in Despair is a very noticable song because it's the end song in Death Note, awesome tunage too.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
