Dance of the Manatee fo sho. This alterna-metal/art-rock band is just to good to pass up. This song is a masterpiece, and the video is just artistic. This is one of the best songs of teh eyar by far. I'd even go so far as to call it pretentious. Go to aol music and type in Fair to Midland, and the video should be there. Listen or you are da loser.

They are Nu Metal, which isn't metal at all. However, it's almost there in some places.

My friend's favorite band is Mudvayne... I really don't know how to tell him that they suck. I like World so Cold, but even part way through I want to die. We don't neccererily listen to death metal, doom metal and all that stuff. Mostly just the metal metal, like Disturbed and all that stuff, we are soft-core in a sense. However, we do listen to some death metal. Well, not so much but it's isolated.

If you've played 15 Random Song Game, you will be able to play this. Unlike the 15 random songs, in this thread someone gives you a certain type of list you must follow. Say I'm finished making a list of 15 songs, after the final song is put in tehlist I go down a line and put a set of things that the next list must have. If I post "next playlist: sad songs" the person who posts next must make a list of songs like that. Yu can make it easy, or you can make it hard. To start off, here's a list of some of my current favs in no particular order. 1. The Diary of Jane - Beaking Benjamin 2. Polyamorous - Breaking Benjamin 3. Delierium Trigger - Coheed & Cambria 4. Too Many people - Nuerosonic 5. Schism - Tool 6. Welcome Home - Coheed & Cambria 7. Empty Walls - Serj tankien 8. Bird & the Worm - The Used 9. Pretender - Foo Fighters 10. The Running Free - Coheed & Cambria 11. Blinded in Chains - Avenged Sevenfold 12. Firefly - BReaking Benjamin 13. Misery Buisness - Paramore 14. The Light And the Glass - Coheed and Cambria 15. Bilieve - Breaking Benjamin Next Playlist: Anything Oops, I forgot to pt what the next playlist should be. :animesweat

Well DB, sometimes people are early bloomers. My mother said our credit "ain't great." But it's my mother, probably slang for "I don't know but le's just say..." However, the tone of her voice proved she was being truthful.

While this game looked interesting, even if I did have a Wii I wouldn't buy it. obvioulsy Blue Jihad pointed out hte flaws, and out of honeslty, this game is limited. I don't think it would keep me loaded for hours. A game that would is like Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, filled with enough bonus content that keeps you playing for hours. And enough aciton. Brawling with Nintendo characters? If I wanted to do that, I'd go to a video game dress-up place and beat up some weirdo dressed as Pikachu.

Thanks Billy, even thhough it sounds like your giving me the talk. I have the best music out of my friends though, which isn't saying much. I hang out with the Metalhead Clique. My cousin has asome good metal. 3 Inches of Blood, however not pretentious (as far as I know) they are good, and I'd like to hear more of them. Too bad you can't find good music where I live, it's only in a handful of times where good music is found. I do have the internet, but my parents are technologically retarded. They won't buy anything off the net. Asked them why and I got the "we can't but were not telling you why, so get a job even though you probably won't find good work at your age" speach. I can't wait until I'm 16 and can get **** easier.

I've heard that band name before? What genre? I'm saying the japanese have cool **** on the market. No duh that J-rock is japenese. Ya know, would have never struck my mind!
-
I do know the definition. Sadly I'm like some of the pretentious music people out there, snobby when remarked at and I never listen to common sense.wait, that's just me anywas. Believe me, I'd fight over who's **** was prettier.
-
And how do you think feel when people call my music bad. I take it serious too. But obvioulsy you can't be picky about generic mainstream music. J-rock is good music, and it has some great sounds. Really it comes from Japan, and they have some pretty good stuff on the market.
Like I said, it's not a very great song. Dude, you have not even heard the tip of the TMV iceburg.
I'm well aware of that DB, beyond aware. It's good that I listened to them, cause they are good. TMV could be for me.

I'd really love to punch your face goodbye.... I will say this one last time... I WAS JOKING!
-
THAT WAS A JOKE! I like mastadon, they have really good music out. And did I say they were generic. I was fricken kidding. And I know BB is, I wasn't talking about them. In fact, I'm starting to get tired of them. I was talking about Disturbed... well not necceserily pretentious, but not as Generic as other stuff I listen to.

You'd have fun Aaryanna, I just got one (DS Lite) in August, and I love it. Still need to figure out the Download Play Function. -
Here's the answer...you can. You can be picky withanything really. Cause good music is mostly broughtby personal opinion. You can be pciky about generic music. Even though sme artists I listen to aren't, even though people say they are. It's all preferences. How can you be picky with generic music... said the man who liked Mastadon. :P
It's just a joke.Mastadon's pretty good.

It wasn't that good at the beginning either. The video was pretty neat though.

Yeah, I completely agree with Jake. Only a few actuall tolerable Metalcore bands out there. I do agree with BTBAM, even though I've only heard them in commercials. well, I'm listening to Delerium Trigger, whch is one of Co&Ca's best songs. I've been tinkering with WMP9, and have been fixing the info on my bands. It's made music more enjoyable. The Mars Volta ison now. It's from De-Loused in the Comatorium, and it's pretty good. It's Televators. But it's not as good as DB siad they were. But then again, I can't judge by one song. EDIT: Well I stand corrected, it got better towards the end. I guess they are good. Don't know if I'd make a habit of listening to them though.

I haven't even finished my homework, so... I'm a bad person when it comes to homework. Mostly why I got a 67 on last years final marking period in English. thank god my total average was 82, or who knows what would happen. I"m really good at English, but there was soo much homework that last few months. Let's just say I'm really smart, but I don't alwasy use that brain power. *Waiting for witty joke by Allamorph that he usually says to me when I say something* -

HAH, Allamorph your stuck with a horrible assignment. Tell use though, what's the song? If it's the theme to Dora the Explorer, slap you teacher across the face. :P -
I still need to get a new Good Apollo GN sincce the stupid ****ing animal pissed on my other one >_>
^.^ Now that my friend, is HILARIOUS! But I happened to love the Running Free. The vocals were pretty gnarly. I agrree with Final Cut, but I liked some of the songs. The Suffering and Apollo's I & IIwere good songs. And The Final Cut did beat the hell oughta Welcome Home. The intro to the album is my favorite of the three intros. I wish they had done a style more of the first two albums though.
-
Yup. I intend to buy Good Apollo Vol 2: No world for Tommorow as well. I'm going to get the Good Apollo book for English 8 too. I like the beggining to Everything Evil [Accoustic]. The Army of Darkness quote was quite awesome. "This is my BOOMSTICK!" Welcome Home is another Co&Ca song that falls under the A-ma-zing catagory. For soem reason, the Windows Media Player put SSTB under Alternative rock. It's prog...>_>

I bought Second Stage Turbine Bdade today. Delerium Trgger is the best on the album. Along with Time Consumer. But I'm listening to the best band ever. Breaking Benajmin. And one of my favs by them, Firefly.
