I agree. My goodness. I'm a Lutheran, but I believe some Catholic doctrine. A religion does not define a person. Way to label.
I didn't say I don't believe some things they do, I'm just saying they can get annoying. They overreact sometimes. God what's the matter with you people?! -
You sound ridiculous, just so you know.
And just so you know, I don't give a damn. Good and light, dark and evil, I consider both the same. What's so ridiculous about saying catholic annoy me? I just used freedom of speech, is that so wrong as to call me ridiculous? Hey, I'm just using my rights. If women have the choice to go through abortion, I have the right to speak my mind. Anyways, why waste your time with me when there more important things going on in this thread. You shouldn't waste your time with someone sooo ridiculous, just so you know. -

I'm pro-choice myslef. But for retri and break. you all knoq about yin and yang right? But did you knoe that the dark side is represented by women, and the light side by men. Interesting if I do say so myself, but I feel that the men should be the dark side. But I do feel that you shouldn't have an abortion if the fetus is too developed. I don't know much about abortion itself, so I really can't explain things right. Thank god I'm methodist, I can't stand catholics. Oi, they just annoy me. -
Galian looked to the sky, the rain started to subside, but the sun wasn't about to show itself. Galian's joyful smile quickly turned upside down. Maye he does have feelings for Dawn? He didn't love Sakura at all, they were just friends, but he didn't want to tell Dawn that. He thought about going up to Dawn and asking her out, but the thought of her hand hitting his face didn't seem that cool. He could feel the pain. But Galian had to say something. If he doesn't say anything before the darkness reaches the academy, it could be to late. Galian sighed and rubbed his eyes. Fuck! Damn it kid, why do you have to be the problem child at this academy? Galian walked into the academy, he had to talk to Dawn. A few seconds later he was in front of her dorm room. He sighed. Slowly he rubbed his face, maybe this spot on his body would be left with an "ouchy" mark. But Galian had to be a man. "D...Dawn open up! ... uh - have to umm say something!" Galian started gagging. He never had to ask a question like this to a girl, mostly because they asked him out first. But he alwasy said no. Deep down Galian's afraid of women. But if people knew that he would lose his rep. "What do you want?" Dawn asked sobbing. She opened the door to see Galian, his face sweaty. "Uh, Dawn..this is hard to ask but ummm...." The next statement he had to mutter is the most important thing he had to say all day. But it just seemed to hard to say. Finally he swallowed his fear. he smiled at Dawn staring into her eyes. "Will you go out with me?!"

Then when I pressed back all my post was gone. Boy it really sucked. I have to watch my hands more. >_
What kind of metal do you listen to exactly? Just curious.
Actually I never pay attention to the specific metal brand I listen to. But most of my metal is Nu Metal.yet. my favorite band, Breaking Benjamin is a post-grunge/alternative band from New Jersey. I've researched them on wikipedia. They're also an influence for my lyrics. I'm the bassist of a Nu Metal band where I live but I'm probably the most skilled at writing. I'm working on a song that has been influenced by the Mothman of west Virginia. Very eerie and fascinating legend. The band is called Death Vapors, and I must say the name feels generic. But the lead won't change it to something more unique. Plus I'd really like to write something that has to do with my Hungarian roots. I just remembered that one of my old relatives actually lived in Transylvania, another idea for a song write has just come to me!

It's no joke DB. But if you try it the Mods will probably delete it before long.

Actually I thought Liam would look more like this... Note the robe that symbolizes the ol' fart's power. And notice the way he's standing too. He has power in his arms as the skies behind rage with lighting. either that or he's taunting someone saying "come on big guy fight me!" But hey an old star who looks like an older version of Charlie Sheen, works just as well as an old painting. Who am I to judge?

Oi, this isn't the way I should have said i! I'm not a great arguer. I don't mind learning somethings about Hinduism and it's impact on culture. But I would just hate to learn about other religions every single day and just religion too. I'm just saying that it should be a selective class that's all. Ugh, i am so damn confusing aren't I? -
*winces* I myself would rather have a study hall than a world history class, because as an American I only appreciate events which have directly affected me. And by "directly effected" I mean "resulted in a national holiday." The point isn't that you enjoy it. The point is that you learn something.
Wow, see what I mean, and it didn't take long... ugh. What does that have to do with anything? I enjoy learning about all cultures, just not all religions. The point is that you learn something! I don't want to learn about Buddhism unless I'm intrigued by it. I was intrigued and my questions were answered. I only care about my American roots but I put up with learning about India so I can live on with my life and go to college. But religion has nothing to do with my public life! I keep my religious actions personal and private. @ Nerdy: So what? you don't think I know that? People won't fight to get math gone for good because that would be the wrong thing to do. But being forced to learn about religions you don't care about for a whole semester! I don't care about Hinduism because I'm happy being a Methodist. And if I were forced to learn about Hinduism I'd surely fight to have myself removed from that class. Why? Because it would interefere with my riligious thoughts. Having to learn about some other god for more than a unit; I'd be pissed. -
I absolutely agree. Personally, I think a world religions class should be mandatory in public school. It’s undeniable that religion has profoundly impacted history, and continues to play a key role in modern events, therefore knowledge of what’s driving these events is essential.
Actually that would not be a good idea. Someone would object to it. This kid I know is Wiccan and he would surely fight his way out of that class. Plus in my 6th grade social class we were taught about all the big religions and their impact on the world. It would be a better thing as a selective class because there will always be someone who objects. I myself would rather have a study hall then learn about religious impact because I only appreciate my Christan roots. And of coarse there will be someone who quotes me and counters my thoughts. -
>_< Oh my lord. Tht has to be one of the funniest sign-up pics I've seen. Your using an actor as a character?! I kid. How old are these women exactly? Is he a pervert or something!?
Same. My town's crime-rate is basically nonexistant, after the whole drug thing. Of course, the police never bust our drug dealers, even though they know who it is. I swear, there must be a meth lab for every ten houses here. But, our community is more a marijuana fan than anything. I think the funny thing is, we are a DARE community. It doesn't help of course, I think it actually makes it worse... because they are just teaching what the drugs will do for you and how to make them. :p Anyway. I guess we don't have much diversity here, no stores, no places to go. It's funny, though, because my town is like one big ghetto. Everything is so run down. Ah well, it's a fairly good place to live. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is the fact that I live by a Mental Health Institute. >>
Same in our town. This old fat guy ratted out his friends for buying his drugs. we have a joke in our town. D.A.R.E in my hometown stands for Drugs Are Really Expensive. I made this joke that under our school there's a huge meth lab and all the janitors and teachers are in on it. Also Norfolk NY is a cumminity of homophobs who insult the gay people of our town. You just want to pop the kids where I live. My friend is gay, and he's very open about it. Andsometing I did makes me a target as well, if you catch my drift. Last Comic Posting A competition of comedy brought to you by Premonition I've decided that before I make Nightmare: Dreamscape, I'd like to make a more community based RPG on OB. So why not go for comedy, eh? Now, I just watched Last Comic Standing on NBC, and the show has a bunch of funny people. And of coarse OB has a bunch of funny people. So, what are your thoughts? Do you think we should have auditions for a Last comic competition here on OB? We would need some judges though! If anybody wants to become a judge just send me PM, I'm thinking that 5 judges would be good. I will be the first judge. So shall we go on with this or what?

Ah the DMV. For those of you who are lucky enough not to know what the DMV is; the DMV is the Department of Motor Vehicles. In other words if you have to do stuff for your car you just might go here. Now I'm not old enough to drive, and I don't trust myself driving yet. But I'm sure some of you guys have been to the DMV. Now hundreds of people have to go to the DMV. And it's becoming more of a tragedy, by the sounds of it. I've heard it smells like old people, I've heard it's boring. Now I want to know, is it really boring? Just tell us about your trip to the DMV. And if you have any tips for getting through this place, feel free to tell us them.
I live somewhere in Northwest Iowa. How is that for mysterious? Yeah... my town is small, about 8,000 people I think? Our downtown consists of about two blocks. There really isn't anything here except a lot of meth and marijuana. :whoops:
Wow I don't know if I live there or here! XD It's calm where I live. But here is drugs everywhere. You can't go 1 foot without hearing the word weed. You can't even go to the local gardening shop without hearing about weed. But good things come from my home town! American Paper Company is stationed where I live. the second longest river in NY runs through where I live. And the scenery is nice and amazing. Especially Barret''s paving company. They have the biggest hole there where they get their rocks. Northern NY is a great place besides the drugs.
I'm trying to get attached to this place, and I'll probably blend in with the norm. Plus my creativity is falling like a ton of bricks form an airplane. Maybe I'll have luck, who knows.
Well, all I have to say is good luck. OB is pretty diverse. As for me I've dropped to a three. I thought about leaving OB to escape my problems. But I can't! I have two RP's and I'm making one right now, leaving for a month just isn't in the books right now. But I will be leaving OB in a bit. don't know for how long though... Also, I need to get something but my mother is being, well I can't say. Anyways I feel like crap right now.
I believe that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one conciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves.
I completely agree, a famous man once said if you believe you do not exist, you do not. Evolve? ha, that's funny because we're only evolving in terms of stupidity. War, government, and media, that's all there is to our culture. 3 religions for one god, and look at us! We squabble over who is right. Is Jesus the messiah? Who knows anymore. If I remember correct, Jesus was Jewish not Christian. So huh? I am confused. Besides wold god really waste his time making veins and organs? If he loves us so much than why does he take away the ones we love? You see evolution just makes us less human. We were perfectly fine as apes, sniffing our assess and all. Muslim, Christianity, Judaism. The 3 mainstream religions, each one more confusing than the other and vice versa. Jesus, just make up our minds! -
Well, if your waiting two days for it, maybe you need a few naps? Well, you have posted that you haven't been having enough sleep, now I've been staying up until 4 for the past week, and I'm really tired, and my muse has gone on vacation too. All kidding aside just get some rest DB, if you can't get to sleep, find a way to that won't hurt you. So don't take any sort of pill! Just rest up, okay? I'm sure we can all let you re-cooperate. OB isn't going anywhere, okay DB?

Everyone has a favorite genre of music. Rock, rap, Country, or Pop. and don't forget the sub genre's behind the scenes. But for some of us -like me- our family hates or dislikes our favorite genre. As for me my favorite is metal. I love the sound of the guitar, and the speed. It's like adrenaline pumps through me, you know? But my father, if the guitars get to noisy, or fast he'll turn the station and say something like "I hate that ****ing music." and usually i's a song that like. But there's one member of my family who loves this genre. My cousin Jake has a collection of great metal. A few weeks ago we had a a family gathering, he was there and he showed me some of his CD's. Now his mother would probably disown him if she heard his music. What's worse is that she is pure country. Now don't get me wrong, a few country songs I like, but I ate most of it. But my aunt sings and plays county. So metal would never be her forte, but my cousin did get her to play "Smoke on the water", which is funny as all hell to me. And he had an album from 3 Inches of blood, now after hearing them, I want to steal his CD! He likes dragonforce too, but they're good for 30 seconds or less. He has other bands as well. But the only one I can remember is Black Label Society. Anyways what's your favorite genre of music? Can be any genre too. And tell us what your family thinks about it. Do they like it or hate it?
Every time I hear 'look at this photograph' befroe abruptly switching channels i feel like puking.
If only the photograph had a pic of someone breaking all of their albums in half and eating their flesh. But we can only dream... I hate Kelly Clarkson's music genre, and I hate her music, but I can watch her videos. I have a kiddie crush on her yhat's why. Jake hates Slpiknot, and I can't blame him. I'd lke to wrap a bass guitar cord around the lead singer's neck.
A certain somebody got me addicted to DOA doujins.:animeangr Anyways, I kind of have a firmly decided to not take drugs. although weed and sroons I guess don't leave a devastating affect on you. I figured I would be too dependent on them, and candy right now is enough of a vice for me. Oh yeah, as for as good drug stories go, nobody can top Mitch Headberg.:D
Marijuana and shrooms used to be used medicinally, but they've dropped that. They even put small trace amounts of cocaine into Coke. You never really know what might be in your food. I almost got high off of whipped cream because the aerosol can make you high.

Yes Db, it in't! But isn't it legal in Japan? I don't know. Porn can be like a drug though, you can get addcited. Thank god I only take a peek about once a week. hey, I'm a growing boy! :animeangr Really, I don't need it to please myself. I see hot girls on TV. Plus, I've watched Heroes. Hayden penettiere is hot, so is Kelly Clarkson. Just because you don't see them naked doesn't mean you can't fantasize. Damn, I'm just degrading myslef..
I can say that now, but as soon as I'm not living with my parents anymore, all bets are off. I'm peer pressures ***** and I hang out with those goth stoner kids, too. It's probably only a matter of time >_> plus I know the local weed spot and I can easily get some...
Where I live, you could probably take drugs out of your ***! Plus porn isn't that hard to obtain either. All I have to do is go upstairs, and my friend's Father just lets him! And his mother knows too! :animeblus But my home-town is very peaceful. Well, not entirely.
