Thursday, 34th of Estembre 6:09 PM Strom couldn't belive he was fighting Leon Maxwell; he'd been expecting Instructor Shavers to give him detention or do a gazillion push-ups. But, alas, he had to fight someone he didn't even know. Still, Strom was confused; It wasn't like the teachers to resort to force instead of a legal punishment. It didn't make sense for him to be fighting a student while almost half the school was watching. Strom looked through the audience. In the front he saw Aaron and Kyo, from yesterday, rooting him on; Next to the two was Syrus, arms crossed, drilling a hole in Strom's head. Strom could most likely figure out what he was thinking. You had better not lose to this guy, Strom. Our pride is on the line... Strom smiled as he continued looking through the crowd; Syrus was always so strict and rude, but Strom knew that deep down Syrus enjoyed the spats they had; he knew that their fights and spars brung out their best. Leon looked, growing impatient of Strom's feeble attempt of trying to retrieve help; he believed that Strom was growing scared from the hook to the face. Strom reached in his pockets and pulled out two sapphire rings. He then put both rings on each of his ring fingers. "What are the rings for?" Strom never liked the way Leon talked - devoid of his emotions; everything he said being so 'cut-to-the-chase like'. "Oh. These? Well, their my - eh - on second though'... you don't need to know." Strom said, smiling again. "Humph. Doesn't matter. I'll be rid of my memories when i'm done with you in due time." Leon retaliated. Strom squinted at Leon's reply; he couldn't figure out what he'd meant by that. Strom charged again, sapphire rings equipped along with his Kyndras this time. As Strom made it to Leon, he, Leon, attempted a horizontal slice that he expected Strom to parry. However, Strom did a low front roll on the ground that took Leon by surprise; Leon jumped high in the air after seeing him. Strom, taking a glance at Leon during the roll, placed both his hands together inches by the ground. His hands - his rings, in particular - began to glow as water became visable; he soon shot himself into the air using his Water Magi, thus taking Leon under surprise again. As Strom shot up to eye level with Leon in midair, he, Strom blocked another attack from Leon's gunblade with his Kyndra. Strom, using the block as an oppurtunity to finish the nonsense, blasted Leon in his kneecap with another blast of water. The attack didn't hurt Leon that much, however, it did knock him out of his airborne control as they reached the crest of their jump. As Leon tried to regain control during the fall so that his feet could hit the pavement, Strom shot a constant jet of water at Leon's body preventing him to do so. Leon, desperate, flipped and spun in mid-air like a fish out of water; he struggled to get control. Leon hit the ground, knees first. An evident crunch could be heard from Leon's body, followed by a deep groan of evident pain; Strom landed on his feet like a cat before turning around and giving a thumbs up to Syrus, who gave only a nod of approval; Aaron and Kyo cheered despite the crowd feeling sick from Leon's knee caps shattering under pressure; Clyne finally breathed a sigh of relief. Strom then turned to face his downed victim. "If you go to the Infirmary, they'll patch you right up, ya' know. A littl' Support Magi'll fix those bones up in a jiffy." Strom then looked at Instructor Shavers. Strom figured from his scowl that he had wanted to see Strom get hurt so he could feel better for his training room getting torn up (Which, by the way, wasn't Strom's fault.). "Sorry to dissapoint you, sir," Strom said to his Weapons Instructor, "but can I go now?" "NO!" Instructor Shavers looked around curiously; he had not said anything. Strom looked back to Leon and noticed that he was trying to stand, mustering all of his strength to talk. "YOU'RE - NOT - LEAVING!!!" "Right. and what're you gonna do? Stop me?" Strom said. The stadium roared with laughter; Leon, however, said nothing. "TIME FOR YOU - TO SEE MY TECHNIQUE! FIRE GOD!!!" "Don't you dare!" Shavers and Piro, who'd arrived with the students, said together. "You'll burn the Academy down!" DOESNT MATTER!!! ANYTHING - TO RID MY NIGHTMARES!!! Strom wasn't liking what was happening; heat engulfed all the students as Leon called on his most powerful attack from the arena; the sky above them turned a light crimson.

Thursday, 34th of Estembre 5:15 PM Clyne and Strom were the first ones in the arena after the announcement; it wasn't very hear for the two to backtrack into the Arena grounds from the hallway. as they arrived, however, Strom had a certain cringe in his stomach to turn around and run the other way after seeing Instructor Shavers ("You again?! Get out of here or pay property damage!"), who was finally calmed down by another teacher whom Strom did not know. "What'd you do, Strom?" Clyne said to Strom while trying to keep his attention away from Shavers. "He thinks that I destroyed his training center!" Strom whispered in Clyne's ear forcefully, hoping that the Instructor didn't hear. "If anything, I cleaned this place up a little." Strom said, noting the water over the floor where Kristos used to be. Instructor Shaver's finally calmed down to the point where he left Strom alone, folded his arms in the middle of the arena, closest to the north block and waited for the others. Strom and Clyne took a seat in the back of the dome-like arena, closest to the North-hand wing of the school. Thursday, 34th of Estembre 5:45 PM Strom and Clyne couldn't really see much as students blinded their vision; more students that didn't have anything else to do came from both the North block and the South block in order to see the fight. "Wow. I think this is a 10th of the school." Sakura said aloud over the murmuring. "I know. I - hey - is that Leon?" Strom said, pointing through the swarm of students to point Clyne in the right direction. Clyne nodded in approval telling Strom that it was - in fact - Leon standing by Instructor Shavers himself. Strom waved at the two, but Strom wasn't expecting Shavers to make a hand motion signaling Strom to come and meet him. "Oh - damn." strom cursed. "What's wrong?" Clyne said, curious. "Shavers wants me." "Again? Why? He must really dislike you for his training center being messed up." Strom fought through the people who was blocking his way to the Instructor; Clyne followed Strom through the masses. As they finally got through the crowd ("Hey jack*ss, you stepped on my boot!!"), they ran to Shavers, who was talking further with Leon. Both Strom and Clyne caught a little of conversation before they interrupted. " - mess up my Training center any more than it already is. I can't afford mor - " The weapons Instructor soon stopped upon seeing the two he called run up to him. "What'cha need Instructor?" Strom said, running up to Shavers and Leon followed closely by Clyne.

Thursday 34th of Estembre 4:45 PM "Yeah, whatever. Listen, I really don't feel like talking to you right now. Not after everything that's been happening. Let's go, Strom." she glanced at Syrus briefly before walking forward. Strom moved to follow her but was stopped by Syrus as he tried to walk past. Syrus glared at him and grabbed the front of his shirt in a silent warning. He just smiled smuggly and pushed his arm away, jogging a little to catch up to her. As they started talking again she laughed at something he had said, the sound taunting Syrus from his position, before he turned and walked away. Clyne looked behind her one time, noticing an angry Syrus leaving, before she turned her attention to Strom. They walked through the halls from the training center slowly while talking. "Strom?" "Hmm?" Strom said, lost in his own happiness from talking to Clyne; he had completely forgotten about Instuctor Sigreis and her note. "Tell me - I mean - why do you...and Syrus fight?" Strom looked into Clyne's eyes as they walked. No one could have asked Strom a more serious question; Strom pursed his lips slightly, trying to come up with an honest answer. " 'Cause...I gues' we - we're too much alike." Clyne was taken aback by the answer Strom had given her, wanting to get more answers now that the conversation had started between them. "What do you mean? You and Syrus have been rivals for as long as I can remember." "...Don't get me wrong. I have the deepest respect for Syrus." Strom then looked behind his shoulder before he spoke to Clyne again. "I kinda' need him in this school - with me." "But all you two do is fight...and argue." "Tru'. But - in my defense - that's becaus' he brings out the best in me - personally. I argue with him because that's all we kno'." Clyne couldn't believe it, any of it. Strom was telling her all of this information and he knew that Syrus was her friend (Though, now, she was reconsidering Strom instead based on Syrus' previous attitude); she couldn't understand why he was being so honest to her. "Why are you telling me this - any of it?" Clyne asked, now standing still by a much further window as she absorbed all the information that he'd told her. "Because..." Strom hung on 'because' since he didn't know if he should be honest with her this time. Clyne looked into his ocean-blue eyes as his mouth hung open, trying to find the right words to say. "...Because..." It hit Clyne then - right then - that Strom wasn't telling her something. She could problably guess-timate the answer, but then if she did - or if he answered her question truthfully - their friendship would be for naught. "Strom... Do you li - " "KRISTOS ENTTAUSCH, PLEASE REPORT TO THE BATTLE ARENA BY SIX HUNDRED HOURS." The two, closer than they have ever been, snapped back into reality; they both backed up away from each other, looking awkward at their near collision with each other; both Clyne and Strom tried to find out where the sound had come from. Clyne finally slapped her head with her hand. "Duh... intercom." Clyne said looking up at the black speaker clashing with the white academy walls and ceiling. "Clyne... I -" "C'mon" Clyne said, trying to ignore him as she broke into a stride. "Let's go back to the training arena outside and see what's up." "I...fine. Hey - hold up!!" Strom said as he dashed off after her. -------------------------------------------------- OOC: Hope that was good, Sakura; I enjoy the drama, heh. Thursday, 34th of Estembre 4:15p Strom walked from the Training field back inside, determined to take his mind off of the events that had just happened. A lot of things were troubling him today; all he wanted to do was go to his room and evaluate his behavior and the current events happening, and wonder how he could improve himself for tomorrow. For no particular reason while he was thinking this, Strom's mind immediately jumped to the note that Instructor Sigreis showed him, the room number etched in his mind with a neon highlighter. 'Room W1' "Does Ms. Sigreis like me... as well?" Strom's mind skipped the thought, immediately jumping to the binder; he had also begun to think about his feelings for Clyne. Strom wish he could make his feelings for Clyne go away as he continued thinking about her (Clyne never paid attention to him despite the compliments he gave her * ), but he had a different feeling for Clyne than he did for his Water Magi Instructor. Whereas Ms. Sigreis was only a 'one-nighter' from Strom's mindset, he thought of Clyne as his equal; he wanted so much more from her than sex. "Nah," Strom finally said, now standing by a window 50y from the Training field (Strom could still hear Mr. Shavers b*tching about his training field outside). "Clyne'll never like a guy like me." And while Strom kept looking at the clouds from the window inside the building, as much as he told himself it would never be between Clyne and him, he still thought about her, and the fact that his dreams could come true. -------------------------------------------------- ( * ) - Post #10: When Clyne offered a seat to Strom in the lunchroom. OOC: Okie dokie, I left the scene open for interaction (No, Sakura, i'm not talking specifically about you. [ Though, i'm not stopping you if you do interact with Strom either.]) and I thought I use this time to say that the story is coming along quite nicely - I love to read it @ work.

Thursday, 34th of Estembre 1545hrs (3:45p) "...and I've been agitated ever since some snotty Air magic bastard snapped Carolyn's back in half!" Kristos yelled at Syrus with a sly smile. The barrier of ice still formed around Syrus, barely blocked the ice shards from hitting Syrus body, all he could do was stand still, breathe and move his eyeballs. However, Syrus' help came from an unexpected source. A massive jet of fresh water hit Kristos in the head spot on while he wasn't looking, the blast of water powerful enough to knock Kristos to the ground as if he was hit with a mallet; Strom's Magi attack easily ripped a layer of skin from Kristos' face, thus, losing control with the Magi he was focusing on that kept Syrus in place. Kristos' ice shards and ice barrier faultered before falling to the ground around Syrus; Kristos was grounded for the moment, problably trying to recover from the surprise attack. Strom then hit the fallen Kristos in his stomach with the water spray, ice forming around Kristos because of his magi blending with Strom's. Soon Kristos was encased in a layer of thick ice. Strom kept the water up, however, he knew that Kristos could manipulate ice and that water would do very little against him. "Syrus, stop callin' me Rainbow and get your ass up!!" Strom said, concentrating on an encased Kristos. "Ima' need your help to finish thi' guy off!" -------------------------------------------------- OOC: Short, I know, but I have to go to work every morning (Except Tuesdays - Day off) at 8:00a, and I get off a 4:30p. Needless to say, you two (BK and Engel) caught me at a bad time, heh. Also, Ice > Water; what the hell were you thinkin' BK? *Joking*

Thursday; The 34th of Estembre; 12:20 PM "You're late, Mr. Vanguard," Instructor Caroline Sigreis said from the blackboard as Strom opened the door. "That marks the second time you've been tardy for my class." Instructor Sigreis was very attractive in her late age of 37 years old: brunette, long hair, soft complexions, straight teeth, and, of course, a great body (Strom always paid more attention to the Instructor's bottom as she turned around, facing away from him.). If Strom believed he had a chance with her, he'd consider himself the luckiest man in the world. "I'm truly sorry, Ms. Sigreis," Strom said, "I must've overslept again." He knew he was telling half-truths; Strom fell asleep in Kyo's room (Kyo let him stay in there for the night while Aaron and him knocked on I16 after the talk with Sakura.) and Kyo didn't have an alarm clock. "Well," The instructor said, placing her hands on her hips and placing the majority of her 130lbs. on her right foot (Strom loved it when she did that - like the teacher wasn't getting her way.). "That's no excuse to be late for my class. Please, sit down." Strom, dissapointed in himself, began to walk to a chair in the middle of the class as Inst. Sigreis began her teaching of Water and it's different uses. She decided to get Strom's attention early in the class (He was drawing a rain cloud shooting thunder at Syrus.). "Mr. Vanguard, can you tell me why water is the best magi in the planet?" Strom, definitely trying to pay attention now that he was alerted by his name coming out of her mouth, started flipping through his textbook. Inst. Sigreis pursed her lips. "The answer isn't in the textbook, Mr. Vanguard; you should know this answer by heart; have you been doodling again?" Strom knew that she already had the answer to the question as she took his doddling binder and flipped through it. She stopped halfway in the binder - wide-eyed - before closing it a split second later. She looked at Strom with an eyebrow raised. "See me after class, Mr. Vanguard." There was no anger in her voice; she gave no hint as to why she wanted to see Strom. This fact made Strom feel twice as worse then when he realized he was late. He looked at Ms. Sigreis while she asked another boy the question he, Strom, was previously asked. "Because with out water, everyone could die." The boy said. "Very well done." The instructor said, looking at Strom while talking to the boy. "That was a common sense question, by the way. Strom's fingers clenched together unconciously. the boy whom Ms. Sigres spoke to looked at Strom and said in an undertone so low that only Strom could hear him, "I see you're not the 'teacher's pet' anymore? What will you do, now that she doesn't like you?" Three boys siting alongside the boy - obviously his friends - began to snigger. Strom turned back around. "Fag." Strom said to himself. The next two and a half hours passed by quicker that Strom expected; after class (With loads of homework entitled 'How to create a whirlpool with only your Magi'), Strom stayed behind by Ms. Sigreis desk as she flipped through his binder full of doodles again. Strom wondered why he was staying behind. Ms. Sigreis cleared her throat ("Er hurm.") before speaking. "Mr. Vanguard - Strom - I noticed that you have a very vivid imagination." She started. Strom said nothing. The instructor continued. "I see you draw very well. Why here - in detail, I might add - I believe this is Mr. Cainum being struck by lightning?" "One of my best pieces of work." Strom said with a grin. " - And in this one, you have a picture of a glass of water half empty - " Ms. Sigreis continued, flipping through more pages. " - and here you have a dinosaur - a penguin with a blade - A wolverine going into battle against a - wow - a basilisk?" "You know your serpents." Strom said. He was beginning to wonder why he was here. Ms. Sigreis, reading his mind, stole a glance at Strom before moving to the middle of the book. "- Ah yes - this is why I called you here - two pictures - side by side." She opened the binder and flipped it to show what she meant. Strom's heart sunk; he had forgotten he'd drawn these two. On the left, Strom was making out with a beautifully drawn Clyne, a tear coming out of her eye; on the right, a picture of Strom having sex with Ms. Sigreis herself. The room became unbearingly comfortable; Ms. Sigreis began to speak once more; Strom thought that he would be suspended on the spot. "Why didn't you just say anything?" She stated calmly. Though he didn't mean to envoke the action, Strom's eyeballs looked like they were going to pop out of its sockets; he couldn't get his brain to register what the instructor - his very first fantasy before Clyne - had said to him. "Wha - Excus... Wait a minut'... what?" Ms. Sigreis didn't say anything more; she was already handing him a piece of paper very quickly. Strom opened it at once. 'Room W1' "You're dismissed for the day." Ms. Sigreis said plainly. Strom walked out of the room, but not before the instructor could take the paper from his hand. It was destroyed with fire. "I do hope you remebered the room number." The door to 'Avanced Elemental Magic II' was then shut. It was a good thing that Strom had no more classes for the day; his head buzzed from near overload as he tried to walk away from the classroom in shock.

Wednesday, The 33rd of Estembre, 2130 hrs (9:30pm) For some reason, after Arron and Kyo had walked away, Strom had a magnetic attraction to follow them. He hesitated, though, before remembering what Kyo said to Aaron. "You know it. Room ' I15 ' only holds the best foods in this academy." Strom thought about Kyo's words for a moment before looking up again; both Aaron and Kyo had left, leaving Strom in the hallway by his lonesome. The sun had quickly set today, leaving the hallway illuminated by lamps; it seemed as if ghosts could freely patrol the halls (If ghosts existed, that is.) if they wanted to due to the soft glows in the Academy now. Strom decided to find dorm room 'I (as in 'eye') 15' and try to talk to Aaron after so many years of looking at him through his next-door window. "He doesn't even know I exist," Strom said to himself as he ran back to the ' I ' Block of dorms. (There were 8 blocks of rooms: Water block, Ice block, Fire block, Lightning block, Air Block, Earth block, Summoning Block, and Black [magi] block, all categorized by the first letter of the student's major in Magi.) As he made it to the ' I ' section, Strom began looking for room 15; he accidentally knocked on I16 instead from nervousness. A naked latina opened the door expecting his boyfriend. Dissapointed at the fact it was not who she expected, she expelled air from her nose ("Humph.") and closed the door calmly. Strom just looked at I16 before blinking a couple of times to confirm that it wasn't a dream. "Wha?" Strom thought, "Usually... mos' girls'll be screamin' 'cause a stranger saw 'em naked." Curious, Strom walked closer to I16 and listened, he could hear a girl yelling. "I swear... where is he," Strom heard the girl say. He assumed she was talking about her so-called 'boyfriend'. "I swear... I'm so horny... the next guy who knocks on my door tonight is gonna' get laid... I don't care who it is." Strom considered knocking again but didn't wanna press his luck. He shifted his jeans from one direction to the other in a vain attempt to control himself. Still looking at I16 in semi-shock, Strom opened the door to I15 without knocking. Big mistake. Before Strom could react, Kyo had did a flying kick to Strom's chest that connected spot on, knocking the wind from his stomach; Strom was sent spiraling out of the door, into the middle of the hallway floor. Before Strom could yelp in pain from the kick, Kyo was already hovering over him; he had used his Ice Magi crystal to freeze Strom's mouth shut - to keep from screaming. "Shut up." Kyo said, looking left to right in the hallway sneakily. Aaron came out of I16 as well, still eating a cup of hot Ramen. "Hey - isn't that the same guy that - " "Yes, Aaron, but hold on a sec'." Kyo turned to Strom, his eyes resolute; Strom could read his mind at once. Don't expect me to be weak. Strom looked on into Kyo's eyes. He didn't want to look away and show a sign of weakness so he stayed still until, what seemed like forever of 'eye interrogation', Kyo spoke. "How much did you hear?" Strom made a twisted face while his mouth was still frozen. The look must've been funny: Aaron shot a Ramen noodle out of his nose, trying not to make any noise; Kyo's stern face calmed down a little. Still Kyo looked without mercy. "I said... how much did you hear?" Strom pointed to his frozen mouth that was starting to lose feeling. Kyo looked down that he had to take away the ice to hear Strom speak. As he took away the ice with his magi, Strom's mouth started to burn immediately (Frozen nerves) but he still had to scream to Kyo. "Huat har who hawkin' hout?!" "Oh god," Kyo said, still standing over a limp Strom, "Aaron?" "No prob." Aaron said, still munching on the noodles. He pulled out his Support Magi crystal and healed Strom's mouth with ease. He then continued to eat his food. "Now," Kyo said, looking at Strom, "What did you say?" "I said, what are you talkin' 'bout?! Hear what?" Strom said fuming. Kyo had to calm Strom down before he continued, "I was too busy listening to a naked girl next door to you two." Aaron stopped eating; Kyo's eyebrows raised. "...How do you know she was naked?" Kyo asked, one eyebrow still raised. "Dude, she flashed me." Strom said, as if he was being asked to manipulate water - so elementary. "...Are you pulling our strings?" Kyo asked. Strom smiled, "If you two don't believe me, go and knock on the door yourself - I16." Kyo, for the first time, looked away from Strom to Aaron. Aaron, looking at Kyo, shrugged and smiled. Kyo turned back to Strom, still on the ground. "I think we will. We gotta see if your story checks out." Kyo stepped away from Strom and walked with Aaron to I16. Strom bared all his teeth; he couldn't keep from smiling as the two knocked. "This is gonna be sweet." Strom thought. -------------------------------------------------- Clyne was dragging Syrus down the empty hallway while trying to talk with him. Syrus was incoherent, letting Clyne's words fall in and out of his earshot. He looked instead at the hallway and the lamps that kept it illuminated at night. "Come on, he isn't as bad as you think. Save some energy for the exams will you?" Clyne said, pulling Syrus along with her. After a few more minutes they reached the wing of the building with the dorms. They had to walk across the ' I ' section of the dorms in order to get to where theirs was...

As Strom walked to his dormitory, W49 (Students were divided to their specific dormitories based on their major in Magic, thus the W for 'water'), located near the end of the dormitory hallway, Strom came acoss two students who seemed to be fighting. He quickly hid behind a massive white pillar (The majority of th Academy is painted in the same color) that easily hid his frame from the intense sparring. Strom, then, carefully peeked around the barrier blocking his view. Two boys, no younger than Strom, were fighting in the great hallway; apparantly, the two were lost in battle, their bodies taken where ever there was the room to accomadate their bodies and blades. Sparks flew while their blades collided with one another, their aerial movements and fighting techniques becoming so fast that even Strom couldn't track them. "Wow," Strom thought, trying not to focus on the two of the students lightning fast techniques; letting his peripheral vision try to catch some of the action. "They're fas' as hell; look at 'em." Strom knew that if he would rather go to his room, walking past the two fighters, he would miss this golden oppurtunity to make mental notes to use against Syrus tomorrow (Strom smiled at the thought, he couldn't help it.). Instead, he just let them fight it out. The fighting, however, stopped as soon as he thought to himself. No blades crashing against each other, no bodies cutting through the air. No noise came from the hallways whatsoever; it was as though someone had taken the sound away. Strom scrunched up his face, while still peering outwards, wondering where they could've gone. Suddenly, a teacher walked through the halls to make sure no juvenile delinquents were causing a ruckus. Strom's was assured, once the teacher walked the hallway and went into another room, that no one was in his line of sight anymore. He exhaled quite loudly, wishing that he could of seen more sparring. "Well," Strom said, shrugging, "Those two were fas'. Too fas' for me." He chuckled a bit to himself, looking at the beautifully made ceilings of the Academy: White, with beautifully crafted gold trim that stretched in random directions all over the top interior of the school. "Wish I could've met 'em." Strom said finally, still behind the white stone pillar. "How about meeting us now." Strom nearly pissed himself as he heard the voice, followed by a set of chuckling as he jumped five feet in the air. Strom turned around slowly, noticing a stainless-steel rapier and a set of light blue and platinum-colored chakrams. Strom finally looked eye level to notice the faces as he still thought about their weapons. One boy had very dark blue hair (Strom debated dark blue and black for a couple of seconds.) and brandished very thin glasses that kept slipping below the top of his nose; he was quite skinny (155lbs., tops), and had very thin lips as they were made thinner to look at the boy that they found spying on them. "Whaddya think we should do with him?" The dark-haired boy said, his eyes not breaking away from Strom. Though Strom never thought about the fact that he and these two students looking upon him might just be in the same grade, Strom felt ridiculously like a child being scolded by a teacher. His insides squirmed from the thought as he looked at the boy that the dark-haired one was talking to. His jaw, unexpectedly, dropped as he looked at the other young man. "Dunno," The man Strom was looking at said. He walked towards Strom as an equal (All three being in the same grade, unbeknownst to Strom, they were equals), though, Strom felt even more like a child, like looking up to an older brother. This young man had platinum white hair that was damp with sweat and soft, handsome features. He didn't look like he talked much but that didn't stop him from talking to his sparring partner. "But i'm sure he wont say anything," He then turned to Strom, "Will you?" The question sounded more like a rhetorical ultimatum than a question. Nevertheless, Strom answered. "S-Sure thing." "Great," The platinum-haired boy said, looking at the dark blue-haired boy, "He's good, so can we go now, Kyo? I'm kinda hungry." Kyo laughed at his sparring partner while looking over Strom once more. "Sure. Ramen Noodles in my dorm, then?" He said, looking at the platinum-haired boy's face. "Chicken flavor?" "You know it. Room ' I15 ' only holds the best foods in this academy." They both walked off without saying another word to Strom. Strom looked dumbstruck still as he looked at the platinum-haired boy walking with Kyo. "W-was that... Aaron Covais?"

Strom looked on at Kristos in the hallway as he put one foot on Issac's chest - Issac fainting from fear of dying. Leon was seen trying to remove Kristos from his foe and they talked while the crowd finally dispersed. People were glad that the items were returned, the fighting had ceased, and the guilty party soon to be suspended. "You see that, hotshot?" Syrus said, still next to Strom as he spoke, "That's 'real' magic. Kristos summoned that blade from his ice concoction and almost made that boy, Isis, or whatever his name is, sh*t himself. "Can you do anything to that extent?" Syrus finished. Strom had forgotten that Syrus was still sitting next to him in the lunchroom as he saw multiple women try to latch themselves onto Kristos. Random Instructors heaved Issac to the infirmary. Strom could hear Issac moaning in the background, despite the women trying to swoon Kristos with their good looks and evident cleveage showing through their casual lunch wear. "I'm dying... Kristos... cut off - head gone... why..." "Wuss." Strom said aloud as his eyes followed Issac's body being carried out by the Instructors. Syrus, however, seemed to think that Strom was answering his question with an insult. "What was that, Rainbow?!" Syrus said, knowing he'd hit one of Strom's soft spots. Strom absolutely loathed being called Rainbow by Syrus (Syrus had called Strom 'Rainbow' on several occasions since they were 14 years old in the academy) and Strom always got Syrus back for his name calling. This, coupled with the fact that they were equally competitive in their work ethics and training started the feud so long ago. Getting Syrus back for name calling today was no exception. Strom reached for his Kyndras with one fluid movement, his right Kyndra held at the ready by his chest, while the blade of his left Kyndra was pointed at Syrus' neck. Syrus didn't flinch at the upcoming blade, but his face didn't look 100% convincing; a bead of sweat trickled down Syrus' face. "Oh my G -" Syrus threw his hand towards Clyne, ordering her to stop talking before she was to rile up more of a crowd than before. the last thing Syrus wanted was to get suspended with Issac and his gang right before Finals. Clyne remained quiet but looked exasperated as she looked at the two boys before picking up her tray and walking off. Syrus spoke soon afterwards, calmly. "What are you planning to do, Strom," Syrus said, looking cross-eyed at the sea-blue blade inches from his neck, "Stab me?" Strom said nothing. He didn't blink, nor did he flinch; it was as if his mind had drifted away, leaving a empty shell. Syrus needed to swallow. He was trying to stay cool but Strom wasn't even thinking about the question that had just been asked, considering his face. Syrus' adam's apple was inches away from Strom's deep blue blade - he was afraid that his swallowing could result in his neck getting punctured worse than Issac's. Strom moved his Kyndra as Syrus swallowed dryly simoultaneously. He, Syrus, felt his insides squirm as he saw Strom blink after what seemed like forever. "...Stop callin' me Rainbow," Strom said, getting up, leaving his food behind as he walked off. He then placed his Kyndras back in their scabbards. " 'cause next time, I just might slip up and 'really' stab you." "...Is that a threat?" Syrus yelled at Strom. Strom turned around in the lunchroom, now walking backwards to speak. He extended both his arms out as if he was invincible. "Now, Syrus, when have I eva 'threatened' you?" Strom didn't let Syrus answer nor look at his face as he turned back around and walked out the lunchroom.

I just bought the game about a week ago and I personally think that FFIII is the perfect portable game. It's a 'true' FF game (Meaning 'no licenses' - sorry FFXII) that sticks to its roots and still has good replay value. Though not comparible to Mario Bros. or Pokemon (Super-high replay games for GameBoy), Final Fantasy III - and FFV for GameBoy - is still one of those great games to pocket and play. I take it to work with me all the time (I can't do that anymore; my supervisior threatened to take my game from me if I keep getting 'tunnel vision' at work).

As Syrus swung his massive broadsword, Aludra, Strom was only quick enough to avoid getting his hair scalped again. As he, Strom, began to backflip to a safe distance away from the mammoth blade, Syrus began to continue his previous taunts. "Let's go, Strom, you can't win by dodging me all day, ya know." Syrus said, smiling at himself at how well he was doing. "You're only delaying my future win." "Yeah, I know," Strom said sarcastically, staring his rival down, goggles protecting his blue eyes (Strom wears his goggles only during his weapons training). "Just givin' myself a littl' distance since you're sooo much better than me." "...Whatever." Syrus said, through with the word battle; Syrus was once again ready to take down his target. He charged Strom as hard as he could with the broadsword, moving very swiftly with the huge weapon; Strom stood at the ready... This was how 'Avanced Combat II' was for anyone who took it - Namely, everyone. The spherical class was set outside with two corridors on the North and South sides. the outdoor classroom had more than enough room to fill up to maximum occupancy - about 100 students - and still have time for sparring sessions - which took up room enough considering some 'brawls'. Only students in their final year could take the class - whether they be 18 or if the student has skipped a year - the class being taught by Instructor Guy Shavers. The instructor, at first glance, is 6"0 tall with tanned features, brown hair, very toned - Inst. Shavers loved to prove that he still had 'The Edge' - and has swooned many women with his handsome looks; he is very modest and always put priorities first - his students. His firm disposition in class has commanded attention from all people - student and teacher alike, and his training sessions, while stressing, are fun. ...As Syrus brought his weapon downwards towards the training ground, Strom backflipped out of the way once again as Syrus' weapon carved through the floor, leaving granite. Strom, after his backflip, immediately performed a frontflip and landed on the top of Syrus' blade. Strom then sucked his teeth twice, as if saying that he, Syrus, was an inadequate sparring partner. "Oh yeah?" Syrus growled. Syrus lifted his blade as hard as he could in retaliation, a little too quick for an unexpecting Strom, launching his rival high into the sky. Strom managed to take a look at Syrus as he tried to correct his control in the air, Syrus using the momentum of his rising blade to propel himself in the air simoultaneously. As the two met 10 feet in the air, during the crest of their jump, Strom reached behind his back with lightning speed and pulled out his two crystal-blue Kyndras, held at the hilts, from his scabbards. Syrus got his broadsword at the ready. They both knew what would happen next. As both men began to plummet, time seemed to slow down considerably, though, for whoever was watching, the moment took only seconds. Strom and Syrus began executing expertly timed attacks at each other, all the while, keeping their eyes on the ground for their landing. Clashing and sparks were all that could be heard and seen for those looking at the spar without the 'warriors eye' (Inst. Shavers always told his students that 'you can't see lightning fast maneuvers without training the most important muscle of all - the retina.', followed by two days of homework.). As the two finally landed on the ground from their aerial battle, Syrus and Strom, both sweaty, remained unscathed. Several sixteen and seventeen-year olds, many circled around the two batlers began to clap at random, showing their approval at the battle. Amongst the party of clappers, Strom and Syrus saw Inst. Shavers, himself. "Most impressive." Inst. Shavers said, still clapping long after everyone else stopped, "Most impressive indeed. No doubt that you two still need more training, but you both are advancing along quite nicely. Dismissed." Happy for the compliment, Strom and Syrus smiled, in their own way at the Instructor, before walking to the resting area where most other students sit until their next period. Before Strom walked away, however, he pulled out his schedule to double check where he was to go next, if anywhere. He loved looking at his schedule this year because next year, he wouldn't have one. Okay, first things first, can you name all of the Argo Arx Academy Professors; including the headmaster, DH? This way, no one will have to ask again and instead, just want an update of the roster. Please and thank you. Here my work. I just wanna say that this idea of a Photoshop tutorial is great and i've already read all the current tutorials that have been made. Thank you all for your (future) contributions, I think I speak for the rest of the Photoshop beginners when I say that this is exactly what we were looking for!

Okay... now it's time for me to post my second review of the CD, 'The Open Door'. Alright, firstly, as I kept playing the songs over and over agin while posting on the Boards, I noticed Jakehammaren was right with his theory - The songs get quickly annoying. Emphasis on 'quckly' - i've owned this CD for no longer than a week and I already want to use it as a frisbee. Evanescence should've stopped at 'Fallen', which, by the way, has more replay value than this CD. This CD... it's an 'open mess'. Fallen not only has better songs, but they also have diversity... somewhat. Whereas in 'The Open Door', all you get is - Guitar, Drums, Piano... Guitar, Drums, Piano... Guitar, Drums, Piano... Oh wait, a diversified melody - Guitar, Drums, Piano... It's endless, and aggravating no less. In Evanescence's defense concerning her new CD though, i've picked out my favorite song - yes, 'song', meaning singular. Lithium is the song that I chose. ...I've a personal connection to this song though... so I guess that's a biased answer, huh? *Saves 'Lithium' on hard drive before chucking CD* Now... as soon as I find my wife's 'Mariah Carey, Greatest Hits' CD, i'll be free (Gawd, she's hot, though *Drools*)...

Okie doke, i'm back and i'd like to say a couple of things: First, I would like to mak a formal apology to Boo - not because I accused you but because of anything I may have said that caused you to get riled up. I apologize Boo. (I also got your PM. Once again, sorry) Second, I'd like to apologize to the community for the way I - eh - 'come about with my judgements'. I know that i'm going about my desicions in a way that make people like Boo go "WTF?!" but I believed that I was right when I posted; futhermore, I'd like to state that my 'gut instincts' can't be constituted as proof no more than it can in a court of law. So, i'll try to use my resources (OtakuBoards) better. Third, White, my intention was not to create conflict with Boo when I posted. I promise you that I only wanted to play the game to the best of my ability and make it fun at the same time. Therefore, i'm apologizing to you as well. Fourth, to Allamorph's exuberant statement (By the way, thatnks for the nickname, T-Man. I like it a lot!!!), he was right - the only reason I posted continuously is because I thought people would follow suit and begin to treat this like an event instead of a covert ops mission where stealth - post-wise - reigns supreme. I'll say nothing more on the subject since Allamorph hit all points and then some. Finally, i'd like to conclude, I haven't quit or anything in this game, just biding my time whist waiting for the other Mafia members to post - like Allamorph (Allamorph, you need a great nickname as well) is doing now. Game on!

Name: Strom Vanguard Age (seventeen to eighteen): Eighteen Student Template: The Young Ambition Weapon: Twin Short Swords (Kyndras) School of magic: Elemental Magic (Water Magi) Minored school of magic: Blue Magic Abilities/Spells: Below Torrent: Strom's water elemental crystal allows him to shoot high pressured water from his hands at an alarming speed - quicker students from the same grade level have been known to barely avoid the accurate blast. QuickSave: Strom's blue magi crystal allows him to learn another's magi power with poor accuracy - 20% according to Strom. However, he can remember the learned move indefinitely once learned. Personality: Strom's direct influence throughout his teenage life was paying attention to one Aaron Covais, a boy who was his next door neighbor while living in Balimb, Madaral'sol. He, Aaron, was always left by himself at home while his mother worked round-the-clock as a single parent. This action caused Aaron to become involved heavily in magic - Strom would look at Aaron practice daily by himself and try to follow suit. Strom was able to learn basic magic almost as fast Aaron and they both joined the 'Argo Arx Arcanum' Academy at the age of thirteen (13), unbeknownst to Aaron himself. He, Strom, majored in Water Elemental Magic and minored in Blue Magic - Blue Magic to be closer to Aaron, whom he was taking a mutual liking to. Strom loves to think about being at par with his idol, Aaron Covais - which he keeps extremely low-key - daydreaming that he's fighting alongside his idol and getting a job as the highest-ranking mercenary (Strom has no doubt that Aaron is striving for the same thing). Therefore, Strom takes losing very harshly; he believes that losing puts him at a lower level than Aaron, which Strom will not accept. Physical appearance (picture wanted): Though Strom picture was taken at a global aquarium during one of the Academy's field trips - thus, restricting the camera's color - he has sandy brown hair, tanned skin, and deep blue eyes (The Water Elemental Professor said that his eyes were the deciding factor in what he'd major and minor in) that seem to penetrate his opponents before a battle. His school outfit - white with a blue tinge - is usually draped/put on over his t-shirt and jeans. Strom is very handsome and though he is modest, Strom is not ignorant of the truth.

As Kalas ran through the maze, all Ayame could do was think of all the wonderful things she'd do to him: None of the things she cooked up were any less painful than what she'd done to Constance. Ayame was gaining on him and Kalas could feel it. Ayame, using her gut, shrunk down to gnat size and hugged the side of the concrete wall as tightly as possible - She knew what was going to happen. Right on cue, Kalas turned around, tired of running, leting forth a huge downward stroke with both of his arms, sending a strong, splitting gale down the corridor he was running through. Kalas opened his eyes while trying to regain his breath, seeing that Ayame was gone. "...Must've scared her away." Kalas said gasping for breath. However, Ayame appeared, regrowing right next to him, Kalas was shocked (Ayame had moved closer to him while he threw his arms down for the kill) to see Ayame's right elbow smash into his adam's apple, sending him into immediate convulsions. Ayame then grabbed Kalas by the throat and lifted him up on the stone wall making the endless maze, Kalas realizing for the first time how strong Ayame really is. "Yeah," Ayame said with a smile, looking at Kalas' bloodshot eyes. "I was really scared." She quickly used her free hand to poke through Kalas' eyeballs. He writhed in agony; Ayame was getting annoyed of the screaming already. She lifted the twitching Kalas with one arm and began smashing his face multiple times on the stone. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Ayame roared, a smile on her face as blood splattered over her. She'd truly lost her mind in the Labyrinth. This process of Kalas' head meeting stone - among other 'satisfying' things - lasted for the better part of an hour - the best hour of Ayame's life.

Kalas saw Lita disappear, fright overcoming him, immediately following rage. He looked at Ayame (She was still screaming) and cursed aloud trying to figure out where his companion had gone while they were in the flourenscent lit room that made him light-headed still. "Where's Lita?! What did you do with her, d*mn you?!" Kalas screamed. He then remembered that his words didn't carry in the room - it had something to do with his light-headedness. Nevertheless, Ayame (Maya) couldn't hear him. Kalas, realizing that talking was pointless, finally raised his blade in the air, pointed towards the illusion of Ayame (Still screaming), unbeknownst to Kalas. He was tired of playing games with this skank; this time, Kalas couldn't save Lita - he hadn't known where she'd gone and Ayame (Maya) couldn't see her in the first place when she was here. But, Kalas thought, killing Ayame (Maya) would make him feel better. He brought down the blade - Then, without warning, halfway down, Kalas felt as if his naval had gotten caught in a super-powered vaccum; he felt himself swirling through a big drain, falling, falling, falling... He found himself on the ground; he was no longer in the flouresent-lit room. He felt the blood rush into his head once more, the blood feeling like rich oxygen that he'd just began to breathe for the first time. And to add to his relief, Lita was standing right in front of him, wide-eyed. Kalas' happiness was short-lived, however... "Hello, Boyscout," Said a familiar voice. Kalas felt the blood drain from his face once more. "Should've known you would've shown up." Kalas turned around, he had seen why Lita was so stone-faced. "Ayame." Kalas muttered, looking at her once again - though this time, it was no illusion.
