I've killed you once before and if you don't start being nice to me, I may have to do it again! Nabashi: I'll kill you.........*goes to charge at Calla but Fenor restrains him* Calla: *Smirks* And you! *Her eyes burn red as she glares at Fenor* I bring [I]you[/I] a message. You have closed the portal bfor now, but that is not the only way. I am not alone and I will fight you until every last one of you is delivered into hells waiting caress. My father will have you head for this, it's eyeless stare will forever guard the gates to his palace where your eternal soul will burn in agony for all time!! Now die!!!! [I]She sprang lightly into the air on cloven hooves and headed not away from the group but straight at them. She reached behind her and pulled out one of her swords.[/I] Fenor: Everybody down! After going through a pre mid life mid life crisis a few years ago I came to my own conclusion that we are just clever animals, I've never really been religious and I don't think we're here for a higher purpose, just to propagate the species. To this end I think my purpose in life is to do what I want with my life - as long as I don't hurt anybody else in the process - I don't want to have kids or anything, life's too short and there's too much out there in the world to see and do and I want to experience as much as I can before I die. For me personally, I've always been the sort of person who wants to help other people and make their lives better, but thats just me, I think each person should have the freedom to do what they want with their own life without worrying about what happens afterwards, you only get one chance at everything, so make the most of it while it lasts. We all have to go to the big black some day, but it's what you before you go that counts.........[/color]

If I've had a bad one I'll fantasise about what I'd like to fo to all the people who p***** me off or if it's a really dark mood I contemplate life the universe and everything, which is how I developed a morbid fear of death and didn't sleep more than two hours a night for about a month.............and if I've had a good one I'll plan what the next day would be like. Then before I go to sleep I always go into my own private dream world and like Cera I "Daydream" myself to sleep, and usually dream about the same thing, which is pretty cool :).[/color]

Nope, now way, never again!! I dated a friend I'd known for 3 years and at first it went really well then he started going all weird and jealous on me and in the end I couldn't stand it anymore. Unfortunately he had been in that circle of friends for longer than I had so I ended up not seeing many of them any more :bawl: Anyway four years later I got a call from him saying "I was just clearing out my attic and I found your number in this old diary and thought I'd give you a call......." I should have been suspicious then, but I missed his friendship so much that I agreed to met up for a drink. My mate did too many trips too, he fell into the old "I've had one and it's not doing anything so I'll have another....." trap. In the end he only did 3 but he totally flipped out. We were at this mad party with all the walls and ceillings covered in black bin bags and he started freakin out thinking he was in the trenches in vietnam. After that he disappeared for the next day then locked himself in his room for a week, all he will say on the experience is that the universe dissolved and he's never been the same since.

If I found out my child was going to be severely handicapped and incapable of having a normal life ie. in constant pain then I would seriously consider having an abortion. My reasoning for this? I have worked in a nursing home for old people and those with diabilities and I know that most of them have had a decent quality of life but imagine this; you are blind deaf and dumb due to a rare genetic condition, you are unable to walk due to neurological degeneration and cannot even go to the toilet by yourself. A partially formed digestive system has let you unable to eat so food has to be delivered via a tube in your stomach which due to your low immune system is constantly infected. This is what a ten year old girl at this home was suffering from and it broke my heart. Her parents came to visit her most days but no-one even knows if she was aware of them or even recognised them. Don't get me wrong I'm not in favour of aborting every disabled child, I would love and care for any baby who could have a decent quality of life but I just think there are some cases where it would be kinder for that person to have never been born.

I used to have a recurring nightmare when I was about 5 that my lawn was a this horrible green swamp, but it was alive and would try and reach out and grab me as I walked past and the only way I could get it to leave me alone was to feed it oranges. In the end though the oranges would run out and it would grab me and suck me under, it was terrifying at that age as I really felt like I was suffocating and would wake up in a cold sweat. (Yes I know I'm really strange:D) Another regular dream I had for years was about this huge alien civilisaton, it's cultures and wars and history. I'm very lucky that I have lucid dreams that I can usually controll and so this went on for about 3 years almost like a soap opera. I'm now writing a novel based on this and have had some interest from a publisher, so fingers crossed maybe you'll be reading my books in a few years time. *crosses fingers*:D

If you like unusual books you will love Cobralingus by Jeff Noon, the man does things with the english language that just blow my mind. To understand this book you need to read some of his other stuff first and I would suggetst Vurt. Vurt: It's about a near future cyberpunk world where humans, ghosts (psychics kinda), robo's (cyborgs) and dog people (you still with me? Out there I know but inspired!) co-exist in a future dystopia where the only diversion is a form of drug called Vurt, which is taken on a feather put into the mouth. Vurt is used to watch sensory tv shows and play all sorts of games from mundane replays of someone elses life to exotic and dangerous other worlds which have rules of their own. One day while taking the most dangerous yellow feather our hero, Scribble's, sister disappers into the vurt and he and his friends embark on a desperate search to bring her back, but it's a dangerous quest where anything can happen as in a yellow feather conventional rules of gaming do not apply. In a yellow you can be killed. Am I selling it to you yet? It's hard to put into words how amazing this book is, it's Noon's use of language that is the most inspired thing but it's so hard to explain. Anyway, Cobralingus......in one of his other books - Needle in the Groove - he invents the concept of a cobralingus machine. In Needle it's used for music but the book takes it to a different level. Imagine this, you take a chunk of text and put it through a series of commands like a computer, say for example INLET:the start up text, DECAY:Breaks down the text, FIND STORY:Forces text into the nearest possible narrative, even if it makes no sense, MIX:combines other elements, PURIFY:Selects images or phrases from the text....and many more, combined with the twisted way Noon's head works this is a truly amazing book......arrrrgh it's so hard to explain in a way that makes any sense but trust me if you're looking for something really different this is what you need to read.

My mate did a cool project on fractionating mouth wash, nearly burnt the lab down and ended up with some rank black tar like gunk :nervous: I've not used mouth wash since :D But we're lucky here in the uk, we don't have to do science fairs so I can't be of much help with ideas but I do know a fair bit about science so if you get an idea then feel free to call on me for help and I'll do my best.:)
