1. Well, it's like I said Vicky: I was the last one to post from the "good guys," side and so I don't really want to tell it from Brian't point of view agan! But if see no problem with it, then I'll just continue where I left off and meet up with the others so we can proceed to kill Cairo. (That is still the plan, correct?)
2. Yes... Whenever I red that up there, I almost really did die!! :animesigh Whew that's a load off my chest... I thought there might have been something with time differences... Thank God I was fine... Yeah, I ran into some problems today... The electricity in my house went off last night (again... I swear we probably have rats in the attic) which turned off my alarm clock. And when I got up early this morning to take my dog out, I didn't see it because I'm practically blind without my contacts... So when I finally woke up, it was 2:44 PM! And then, since I had to be at work at 3, I knew I wasn't going to make it. Luckily (well, not so much. But sort of) my car died last night because I left the lights on... So I had a good 50 minutes of waiting while my dad came home from work... And I had a good excuse to be late!!!
3. So maybe Delita was wrong before when she thought Brittany had erased the dark force inside of her. That didn't matter now. All that mattered, was that if it weren't for her, Cameron and even herself would have tired and fell to their doom eventually. The Onlooker was very pleased to see that she was actually back to normal this time. "It's gone," Brittany repeated again. Yes. It was gone, and a good thing too. Delita didn't want to release a dark spirit back into the universe. Brittany had been posing the greatest threat at their lives, and even proved this matter in Cameron's case. "Now all we have to do is get out of here," she continued. The look on her face was empty, but not empty like before. She looked physically and mentally drained and Delita could tell that this 19 year-old girl wanted to get out of here more than it could ever want. "If only I had the opportunity to save another," The Onlooker sighed at the thought of her helplessness as everyone she aimed to protect had died. And to make matters worse, Brittany had only been in her group for an hour or so. Maybe they were better off by themselves. Maybe my interfering led to their deaths. As the two stood up, the walls began fading back in, much to Delita's dismay. All they would have had to do was find the edge of this rather large dome and follow its edges until they reached an exit. Along the way, they could even generate food if needed. The two walked as far as they could, literally passing right between the holographic walls as they generated, and only managed to get 20 feet before they became completely solid again. "It looks like there's no more cutting corners," The Onlooker said blandly. And it actually thought there was a chance to get Brittany out alive. The walls were the only thing that had really generated; the rest was still forming in little lines that left no clues as to what the room would contain. Whatever Inertiatic had planned was definitely working; wearing away at their hope and will to survivie. Delita closed her eyes, emotionally distressed. Yes, she was feeling again, and distress seemed to be a very normal one for this body. She breathed deeply for a few minutes until... "Delita, what is this?" Brittany's voice sounded startled and when she opened her eyes she saw that the four walls, save a small space for the exit door, contained several tubes filled with some kind of pink fluid. And in each of the 29 tubes contained a member of one of their fallen comrades. In the center of the room was a control board of some kind, with roughly 50 different symbols that Delita didn't recognize. "Perhaps if I only payed more attention in my watchings, I might be able to understand these symbols." "It seems we may free the others," "But, Delita, didn't these people die?" That was true. But why wouldn't they risk it? Adding someone to their group meant increasing their chances of survival. Delita decided not to answer the girl and proceeded to the control board in front of her. She pushed 3 strange symbols, some of which looked oddly like letters from the American Alphabet. "Signal received," That same creepy voice from the beginning, and the one Delita had to listen to for what seemed like an eternity, spoke insdide the room. The Onlooker wasn't even trying to do anything; just pushing random buttons. "Subject 27: Updating memories," It continued. She watched as one of the tubes began flickering green, and a scanning light of some kind ran up the length of the tube. "Scan complete. Subject 27 reintroduced to the Panopticon. Remember, we are always watching you." The voice seemed to still be using that generic salutation every time it turned off. The fact that it didn't have the capability for diversity like it did before, proved how unstable the Panopticon was without Cicatriz. They needed to get out soon. The pink fluid drained out of the tube, and the remaning caught fire on the inside. Somehow it wasn't as dramatic watching everyone burn while they were asleep. Delita knew that they weren't feeling any pain and that these specific beings had never experienced life. They were simply clones. The door to Subject 27's tube opened up to reveal a rather tall and bulky black man. It was Etamet, covered in some kind of pink goo. He had a shocked look on his face. "Well, this is strange." ------------ Name: Clone Card Effect: this card can only be used on a character who has died in Chapter 3 of the Panopticon. This will create an exact clone of the character. The effect is the same as a life card, only the player themself has to be the one to revive their character.
4. Ouch... That wasn't very nice; I bruise easily. Just for that... *superpokes* Anywho, I like the Abyss... I don't know why I didn't think of it. It's probably because I was so caught up in it representing a maze of some sort that I didn't even think of representing the elements that make up the environment.... So thank you for showing me the way... We have an official name to the next (maybe unless someone wants to creat another first, in which case it would be the next-next) death-card RP. *woot*
5. That's only because he's posting, I suspect... And that means that, if he takes the amount of time I take to actually finish a post, then it should be up by around 1:45, my time... That means, that if I go to bed now, I can have a good 8 hours sleep and have no pressure of posting with my "Special secret card" in the 12 hour time limit before I have to go to work... :animesigh But then, I do need to go run some errands first. Maybe I'll just wait and see how long it takes and then decide what to do (By the way, that whole thing is what would be me talking to myself if I had that option online... But then, there wouldn't really be much point in the post) Anyway, SunfallE, I don't even know what half of those words mean and I definately don't want to be the one to look it up, let alone have to spell it each time... Also, with the cards that I've come up with, (which I kinda like some of the new ones, although it's too difficult coming up with some great ones after DB pumped 'em out like crazy!) my RP has always had the feel of being under water... Not actually unerwater, but like underwater caverns and there would be sections of it that could be nothing but glass (or whatever) and the characters could see nothing but ocean and ocean floor, and escape just a few hundred feet above them. The view would be much more, but I'm afraid that would give away some of the story I have in mind, as well as some of the cards I have in mind... So, that's all you get! ;) Ta-daa! *not really enough to be called a sneak-peak, but whutevs* :p
6. Yep, now that you mention it... I really do need to go and edit that post. I keep forgetting. Okay. EO and Cameron were never in the chain chamber. They were just outside, standing in the doorway. Brittany and Oromis had to cross, and well, Oromis didn't make it...
7. I concur. *nods* And since I sort of called (not that anyone has dibs on anything so if someone else want to creat one, I'd be pissed, but I'd still join out of fun) the next installment to the death-card series... I was actually planning on taking a break before starting it... Although, it would be nice to know that some of you would reserve your spot now... I kid, I kid... Some new faces would be nice too. While we're on the topic though, do you guys think it would be a good idea to keep the character creation at three or bump it back to two??? Oh and, does anybody have any ideas for a good name??? Labyrinth, Maze, Panopticon... The thesaurus doesn't give me much else besides Plexus and Network... And since Plexus is the opposite of Nexus, and nexus was an element used in the original Labyrinth, I don't have anything to use... After party? Heck yes! Can't wait!
8. Haha, acutally, On my computer, chapter 3 started on page 3 and now we're on page 4 because I set it to 100 posts per page. I find that it's easier to keep track of things... Yes sir, ready and willing to use the card, sir... *salute* Anyway, it's like I said, I plan on editing the stupid post after I wake up a bit more. Maybe work will do that... Eh, more than likely I'll need another energy drink: Nectar of the gods! For now, I'm just gonna go eat my Nilla Wafers in silence. *wishes he had bananna pudding to go with the wafers*
9. Oh wait! I remembered why I pictured Lee Scoresby young:
Because doesn't him and Sereffina have some sort of fling going on for a bit before he dies?
Anyway, if they did take out all the "anti-religious" context (which, I guess you could still call it religious) I would not be watching it... I would be infuriated more so than the holy-rollers will be when they find out what it's about. In any case, I don't expect we'll have too many people protesting until about the 2nd movie, unless there's some christian who's read the books and is able to sprad the word. Not that it isn't likely, but I suspect that right when they got to the blasphemous part, they would stop reading it... So who knows, I don't think it will be a big deal unless the movies turn out to be a big success, like Harry Potter.
10. Sorry about the crap post, guys. I'm running on 4 1/2 hours of sleep thanks to my dog! :animeangr I haven't even checked for gramatical errors, yet. I'm too tired, so I'll probably just come back and edit it later. In any case, Oromis is dead now. I actually like the death, I just don't think I executed it very well. Like I said... I'll try and fix it later when I've had a couple energy drinks in me, haa... :catgirl: I just wanted to get my post in before Allamoprh because there's no telling what kinda crazy stuff he'll come up with! So here's a list: Group 1 Brittany Cossentine Cameron Desouza Delita Lytle (Eternal Onlooker) Deceased Everyone else God, I'm using too many smilies... BTW Sandy, I meant to say this earlier, but you killed Sastasha the same way I was planning on doing it. I'm glad you like to kill first, :animeswea *more smilies*
11. Oromis didn't know what to be more angry with: The fact that Julian was the most worthless being he had ever met, resulting directly in the death of Lucia, (and inderectly resulting in Mary's death) or the fact that he was now alone with Brittany. His suspicions may have been incorrect, but just seeing all that black energy emitted from her body was enough for Oromis to know she was bad news. "Am I losing my touch," he thought, "After seeing such a tiny girl create such dark energy, how can I be ready to trust her? I can't." The group of two walked for some time with Oromis in the lead, mumbling to himself, going over everything that he had seen in the Panopticon and he was running through everything he could have done to keep the others safe; running over all the contradictions to the laws of physics... Brittany thought Oromis might be losing his mind. Oromis had thought of that possibility as well. ~~~~~ Cameron thought Delita was becoming more and more human than when he first arrived, but to him, it only proved she was lying when he first met her. It seemed too illogical to think that a computer program could actually possess the body of a girl. And just for that, Cameron wasn't any more trusting with her than when they met. In fact, he trusted her less, despite the incident with his gun. Her kindness only showed him that she was more deadly than he had anticipated. The way she carried herself proved that she was strong, and when she gave Cameron his gun back, she was trying to earn his trust. It was all a game with her, and Cameron was the toy. "How much longer do you think it will be?" Cameron groaned... They had been walking in the cave for some time and he thought that surley they would be able to get out soon. "Actually, not much farther," She looked back with a smirk, "If I remember correctly, the Panopticon's three exits are programed to randomly change every few days. And the last time I checked during my observations, exit two had just been moved to this very position. So now all we must do is get to it before it changes again." She made it sound easy. The two walked on for another hour before she stopped abruptly and turned to him with excitement. They had reachced a turn in the trail with the right path leading into darkness. In front of them, however... "Here it is," she said, indicating the large metal door in front of them. "I have succeeded in my goal to save somebody. I hope the others can forgive me for failing them." "I doubt that; they're dead," Cameron whispered to himself, intending for Delita to hear. The metal door in front of them had large black letters written on it that said plainly, "Exit 2." Cameron wasn't the type to be told twice so he rushed up to the door and opened it, allowing the light from inside to shine through. "Uh, I think you messed up," Cameron spoke sarcastically. There was anger in his voice and the comment alone was enough to make Delita - or rather the Eternal Onlooker - afraid. She approached the doorway and looked inside only to see that it was another room; not an exit. And by the looks of it, it was a trapped room with bloody, rust-covered shackles hanging from the cieling and walls. At the bottom of the room was a drain. "This is obviously a trapped room, but I supposed we must make it through to the other door to escape." Her - Its - confidence was almost laughable. "After you," was all Cameron could say. Of course, Delita expected it. If she couldn't get him out, then she would be a complete failure. And if anything, if she died in this room, Cameron would have been able to continue on down the other pathway. As she stepped forward though, the door on the other side opened. To reveal two figures. It was Brittany Cossentine and Oromis Tu'wail. "No. I don't understand it. This is supposed to be the exit. One of three exits designed by the CCC in order to enable an exit for each individual group." The Eternal Onlooker's brain was racing. It wasn't possible. How could it have been so stupid? That's when it remembered: When Cicatriz was destroyed, exits 2 and 3 were closed. It seemed almost common knowledge to the Onlooker, but somehow it managed to overlook that tiny detail when it possessed Delita's body and the pure joy it felt took over its brain. "Are you two alright over there?" Oromis shouted across the room. He didn't want to enter either, knowing that it was a trap. "Everything's fine, Oromis. Is there anybody else besides the two of you?" Delita, realized that not everything was bad; at least now, she had found some others so she increased her chances of saving one of them. "Wait, how do you know my name?" he called back, but Delita ignored it. It was too long of a story to be communicated across distances and after watching Oromis ever since the beginning of the observation, it knew he wasn't going to trust anything that came from the CCC. "Nevermind that. Is there another pathway on your side?" Brittany spoke for the first time since the mirror room, "No. There's none that I can see. This is our only option." There was a bit of desperation in her voice as she realized that her only option wasn't such a great one. The Onlooker saw that she had somehow managed to rid the dark force from her body. "How impressive." "Then you have to cross. We have another pathway." Cameron answered them. He actually sounded amused at their situation. "As long as it's not me," he thought. Oromis and Brittany turned to each other. He gazed into her eyes and suddenly realized she was normal again. Her eyes were back to that beautiful emerald green color. He knew he could trust her and he placed his larger hands on her shoulders for comfort. "We have to do this--" he told her "I can't," She seemed to almost cower at the thought of death. Oromis tried to speak over her, but she was sobbing rather loudly now. Repeating 'I can't' over and over. Oromis couldn't get a word it. Finally with a bit of strength, he gripped her shoulders and shook her a bit, "You can and you will. I'll be right behind you, okay? Nothing bad will happen." Of course he didn't know that, but now that he knew this girl was normal and not just some trap created by the CCC, he knew that he couldn't just let a young girl die. She nodded, wiping her eyes and taking a few deep breaths. The two stepped in the room, not more than a foot apart from each other. Oromis was in step with Brittany and every movement she made was known to him. "Get your gun ready." Delita told Cameron. He obeyed, not realizing that he was taking orders. He just didn't care to see anymore deaths. And while it may have been slightly amusing to watch The others from his original party die, he didn't wish for a someone so young to die. Perhaps he was compassionate Oromis and Brittany were moving very slowly, staying completely alert. "When I say 'run,' don't look back, don't get scared, just do it and do it without questions." He told her. Brittany couldn't really say much. She had been holding her breath ever since they step foot in the room. She nodded and assumed that Oromis saw her. Once the pair had reached the center of the chamber, seprerated from the other two by merely a few feet and an open doorway, the trap activated. The rusted chains came alive from all sides and immediately darted for the limbs of its two potential victims. Oromis didn't have time to even tell Brittany to run; he had to push her, rusulting in her fall to the floor. Before Cameron could even fire, the snake-like shackles had both of Oromis' arms and one of Brittany's legs in it's grasp. They had locked tight around them and he aimed for the one of the chains that held Oromis' right arm. The force form his gun blew the chain to pieces, freeing him for only a second, because only moments later, another Shackle had taken the former's place. To make matters worse, The shackles seemed to be conscious of Cameron's actions because after the first shot was fired, they attacked him. But rather than grasping around his body like it did to Brittany and Oromis, the chains pushed him with such a force that he was thrown across the corridor, slightly dazed. His gun was laying on the floor in front of Delita and she didn't hesitate to pick it up. At first she fired at all the new shackles that were attempting to get a grasp around Oromis. His big body was making it difficult for the chains to clasp down around his skin. She could see that few of them managed to close, resulting in layeres of his skin being peeled off. Brittany wasn't any better off as she crawled on her belly, attempting to reach the door frame and Delita's body only a few feet away. She was clawing at the ground in futility, trying to get out of the room, and screaming at the top of her lungs but the shackles seemd to have a cruel mind of their own. They granted Brittany only a slight amout of slack before pulling her back into the center of the room. Still, Delita remained untouched as she blew away chunks of rusted steel with each blast. It seemed to her that the shackles only killed those who were inside the room, but it didn't limit them from hurting those who tried to intervene. Then the shackles demonstrated another chilling sign of life as they lifted Brittany up in front of Delita, using her as a shield to block Oromis, who was obviously in more danger. She fired at both of Brittany's shackles, sending her to the floor with a loud thud. She scurried out of the room on hands and knees, still sobbing from the ordeal. As soon as Brittany hit the floor, every single shackle in the room attacked Delita, knocking her back only a few feet away from where Cameron was laying. The chains used Brittany's body to not only shield their actions against Oromis, but to hide even more so that the Onlooker would be blind-sided. It was almost like the trap was willing to give up one of it's victims as long as one subject died within it walls. It was all up to Brittany now. She was on her butt on the floor just outside the room. The clasps of the shackles were still tight around her ankles, despite the links being destroyed, and the gun was only a few feet away from her. Oromis couldn't speak any longer because there were so many chains around his body, suspending him in a position that reminded Brittany of the frogs her class had to dissect once. A large chain was around his neck, ready to crush his wind pipe. "I won't let him die," she thought, "He saved me. It's my turn now." Brittany rushed for the gun and began firing blindly, unable to actually handle the weapon's power. After a few shots, she actually managed to hit one. It released the entire upper left half of Oromis' body, and just like bofore, the shackles responded. They sped right to the doorway and instead of hitting Brittany, they knocked the gun to the ground and waited right in front of her. It was like they knew she was weak and they were taunting her for it; daring her to pick it up again. Brittany looked up at Oromis. More shackles had replaced the ones she had blown away, the other two people were useless at this point, and about 50 chains were waiting for her to pick up the gun so they might possibly kill her as well. She gazed into Oromis' eyes one last time before she closed the door, tears streaming down her face. He had a look of shock and anger in his eyes that bore deep into Brittany's soul, increasing her torment. "I don't guess it was a good idea to trust her," was the last thought Oromis Tu'wail had before he died. Brittany sat there, just out side the door labled Exit 2, hugging her knees and crying,'I'm sorry,' over and over agian. Delita had finally managed to stand up, regaining her balance and breath. She instantly realized what had happened, and cursed herself for the death of another person. The Onlooker would have comforted her, but didn't even know how to begin with such a fragile heart. The Onlooker wasn't familiar with the trap, or what it did to Oromis, but now it was certain what the drain was for. ----------
12. Well, since you asked so nicely, DB. :D ~~~~~ Name: Chloe Verena (Clover to some) Age: 18 Gender: Female Appearance: Chole has long silver hair, which is thought to be a side-effect of the manifestion of her esper power. She stands at 5'8" and weighs 125 lbs; she's very athletic. Biography: Chloe was actually born in Esper Hall's medical wing. Her father was an esper and her mother wasn't. Ameila Torrence, just happened to be in need of a job and stumbled across a position for a gardener. Even though there weren't many human's living in Esper Hall, the higher up's saw how desperate she was so they let her stay in a small room at the community. That's when she met Chloe's father, Alfred Verena. The two fell in love and later got married, allowing Amelia to move into his home just outside of the community. However, Alfred got sick just shortly after Chloe's birth and died only two weeks later. They never found out what happened, but Amelia didn't wish to stay there with the heavy memories of her husband, so she took Chloe and left for Texas. Amelia, unlike most people, didn't hide what Chloe's father was and what she could possibly end up being. She filled Chloe's head with ideas that Esper Hall was a beautiful place full of wonderful people and she told her bed time stories of how she and Alfred went flying over the crystal blue lakes one romantic evening. Chloe first developed her power when she was seven. After one of the many stories her mother had told her, she dreamt of flying just like her father used to do. And when she woke up, she found herself hovering above her bed. Her mother was excited to hear the news and soon after, Chloe discoverd that she could generate an inch-thick layer of energy around her body to use as protection. Even more recently, Chloe has had suspicions that she could revive dead plants. She's never actually seen herself do it, and if she did do it, it wasn't conscious. It's just one of those things that Chloe feels; she has great intuition. To Chloe, Esper Hall sounded like heaven. So much so, that when she turned 18 just after graduation, she decided to take a year off from college and go to Esper Hall and Amelia thought that it was a great idea. Chloe is now at Esper Hall trying to find her old roots and maybe a few details about her father along the way. Powers: Very limited levitation, small protective forcefield, and (though, not proven) the ability to heal or control nature. (Flora and Fauna) Affinity: Straight Quirks: Chloe is very bubbly, random, and completely immature with her head often stuck up in the clouds. That's not to say that she doesn't have her moments of seriousness or depression, but she's the type of person to put others first and always see the glass as half full. She has a love of all fairy tales, and has been known to ask (rather, beg) the stronger espers to create a unicorn for her. She loves all living things, (vegetarian) but her favorite animals are lizards and geckos; she thinks they're the cutest things. In fact, she has a pet gecko named Xander.(Xander is a Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko and if you don't say it right, she'll have a fit) She has a fixation on anything that comes from Japan and is constantly vowing to see it someday. (Hence the shirt in her appearance) She likes long gloves for some unknown reason. And she loves to pretend that the last day in every month is Halloween. She always dresses up in different costumes and wears them on that day. People have gotten used to her strange behavior and she has gotten used to how boring they are even though she's still considered new. It makes her very angry when someone says that she looks just like her father or her mother. And yet, she wears a locket with her parents' picture on it. She would actually risk her life to protect that locket. ~~~~~ OOC: The quirks section is a little over the top, I know. Sorry DB, but I wanted a lot since there wasn't a space for personality...
13. again... :animesigh I thought I stayed up late. You guys haven't slept have you??? Okay, well I'll make a post just shortly... But then agian, I haven't had my full 12 hours of sleep yet, so maybe I'll got back to sleep. I am kinda tired.
14. There. I added the boarders. I sort of just threw them on, so if you need something more elaborate or you don't like the color or size, then just tell me and I'll fix it for you. Thanks. For now, bed
15.
You didn't picture him as a cowboy in a derigible? 'Cause Lee has always looked a Sam Elliott-type of guy to me... Eliott isn't a great actor but he does one thing well - cowboys. I suspect he'll do a great job.
A cowboy, yes. But just not him... I don't know why but when I read through the series the first time, I pictured him black, even though he was from Texas. (although the book makes that clear that Texas is the country, not the state) The second time I read through, I pictured him white... But younger and with less facial hair. Oh well, I've never seen him act, so if you say he does good as cowboy's then I'm sure he'll grow on me. It's just the appearance that throws me off. I guess it's kind of like the city being different then how I perceived it. But then, I can't expect it to alwasy look exactly how I wanted. :D
16. Also, since Retribution seems to be giving advice, (by the way, it didn't show up on mine either) You may want to consider changing your text to "I just wanted one kiss..." Or you could change the second part to "but it's just a dream." You switched from present tense to past tense, which makes it confusing and gramatically incorrect... And I know this isn't an english lesson, and I apoligize for it, but I figured you didn't intend to do that and I thought I'd help ya out! ;)
17. Let me take a crack at it. It seems to be simple enough so I don't have to worry about you not being happy with it. I'll post it here ASAP! EDIT Okay, here 'goes: Avatar: Banner: If you need me to make any changes just ask. I kept the banner really really simple since you didn't really ask for much on it. On the Avatar, I did everything you asked. But then I saw that it would cut out the demon's little pitchfork and that was just too cute to cut out, so I edited that in as well. I'm sure you see that I didn't give them a black background, but that wouldn't be hard to fix, so just tell me if you need that changed. Also, the avatar picture you provided had a watermark on it, so I did the best I could to cover it up. If you see any remnants of it, just tell me and I'll take care of it.
18. Alright, DB. :animesigh This is the first time, I've ever filled a request, so forgive me. I made sure pink was the prominent color, but I added some other colors as well. (After all, there are only so many shades of pink before it all starts looking the same... Or hurting your eyes) Also, I wasn't sure if you wanted me to give your character's name, (wasn't it Joe Deadrien or something) so I just left it out... I hope this is okay since it was done on short notice. Anything can be changed easily so just let me know.
19. I just went and watched the trailer online... I'm so excited now! Although, I have to admit, I was a bit shocked when I watched the preview; I didn't picture "Lyra's London" so high-tech. The book made it seem to me to be more around the equivalent of our planet's early 1900s. After all, in the second book, Lyra even says that her planet doesn't have movie theatres. Am I the only one that feels that way? But it still look gorgeous and absolutely thrilling! Anyway, BK, since you like reading, you should definately pick up the trilogy. It's a much (I don't want to say better) more recent trilogy than The Lord of the Rings, so I think it's much easier to connect to. And the elements which make up the story, are so great... But seing as this isn't really posted in the book section, I shouldn't really be talking about that. Just look into the series, written by Philip Pullman. OH, and about the daemons: I'm so upset that we don't get to see Mrs. Coulter's (Nicole Kidman) daemon. That was my favorite one in the entire series. We even got to to see Lord Azriel's Snow Leopard, and I believe Pantalaimon... But no golden monkey!!! Why not?
20.
All right people...*evil grin*...That makes TEN posts. So now the killing may begin! Or rather the real fun may now begin. Hehe. And I just love all the grandiose I know who's character is who statements. It's going to be pretty funny to see who's character really is who's in the end. After all I followed the Maze and some of you thought Davis was Aaryanna_Mom's character and he turned out to be indifference's. LOL! :catgirl:
The only two that I guessed on as characters in the maze were Ambellina and Liam as being DB's... (Sorry DB, you gave it away by the way you played) And I was definately right about those two; I didn't even expect Deoky to be his. And that's why I'm so excited about getting to the end of this. To actually see if my guess was right. I doubt I'll have all of them figured out, but hey, it would be neat if I did. :D
21. Well, I've been following along ever since the project got green-lighted about a year and a half ago. Coincidentally, it was just after I had finished all three books. I can't wait any longer!!! But you say there's a trailer! O_O I have not seen this, only the movie poster... Hmmm, I must go and see it. And I wouldn't worry about the daemons not being in it yet because IMDB has a list of actors and it's got someone playing Pantalaimon's voice, so... Also, I'm excited about the cast, except for the hot air balloon guy. (I forgot his name) I saw a picture on IMDB and he just doesn't look like what I pictured in my mind, not that he won't be good. Nicole Kidman as Mrs. Coulter and Daniel Crieg as Lord Azriel is alrady sounding sexy and steamy... Especially when it comes time to make The Amber Spyglass. One thing this movie will clear up is how to pronounce some of the names from the book. I don't think I've ever pronounced Iorek's (spelling?) name right, and Pantalaimon as been giving me equal trouble... So at least That will be cleared up.
22.
Do you realize that by aiming at each other, you'll allow me, Darren or Allamorph to actually win this thing? ;P So aim Darren or Allamorph too, please. X)
How dare you??? :animeangr I kid, I kid... But now, I see I won't have to worry about BK or Sun since they're both going at each other with Rach right in the middle. That just allows me to assassinate your characters, SANDY! and then slip away with the prize! :catgirl: By the way, DB: Damn that was harsh... And I kinda liked Lucia too! Oh well, I suppose it's better that she die if I was starting to like her personality. I wonder why you killed her though. Could it be because that was SunfallE's only character... Or perhaps you chose not to bother the other one because of unforseen reasons (I'm fairly certain she doesn't have 3, and if my assumptions are correct, then I know why you didn't kill the other one) I've been following all the clues. And I think I've got it figured out who belongs to who... At least with every post that's made, I'm getting closer to cracking the code!!! :p P.S. I'm glad that I'm at the bottom of your hit list... I don't need any more hospital visits. EDIT After a brief review of underground posts, as well as careful inspection of the main thread and a bit of research, I believe I have figured out who belongs to whom... Yes I understand that the likelyhood of guessing it 100% is very slim, but I'm fairly certain obviously we know that Lucia and Alcuin belong to SunfallE and Allamorph respectively, and I know which one's mine... So that just leaves the rest. So even if I'm not correct, I'm still just going to eliminate my biggest threats first, and just go down the line. (I won't really get that chance since I only have one death card, but oh well.) And since SunfallE has admitted to not really trying to win, I'll save hers for the last round, assuming that any of her characters make it. The only one I'm unsure about is Cameron, but I think I even have that one figured out. Haha, this is just like CLUE! :D
23. I guess Brian is good, but I believe I was the last to post from my group so I'm a bit hindered on posting until someone else goes.
24. I like the room of mirrors... Though I'm trying to come up with a very creative trap to use it with. I don't suppose it really matters though since we can't kill yet. One thing I've noticed about this whole thing was that Julian is the comic relief of this story. First, teleporting into Lucia's position with Katar, and now all of this... Also, BK, I'm not sure if you did it on purpose, but there was no mention of Brittany in your post at all. Like I said, you might have done it on purpose just because she's not much of a talker, but I'm not sure. And I'm not sure if DB granted everyone with just 1 card, or if he allowed himself a card to play with. If so, then I'm assuming that everyone has played their card except 1 person: Player Killer, Infinity, Fate, Creation, and Life... Now we're just waiting on the other one. (By the way, DB, I'm really liking some of these cards you're coming up with. Now I can use them for mine when the time comes :D )
25. Haha, well... I haven't checked this thread in a while and I'm very glad that it's going pretty well. And since I'm the only one who's marked as undecided, I'll just say that freelance would suit me best. That way, I won't have to worry about the same old thing... I also like the prospect of editing. I'm pretty good at that having experience for the past year an a half on my school's newspaper. So if you're still looking for editors I'd be more than happy to do that for you.
