Okay, I get that we're going to kill of Cat, but one question: Is it going to be an accident or is Dani or Charles gonna make it happen. I just assumed that there would be a somewhat small brawl where Dani or Charles cause something. After all, they are going to be the "bad guys" and what not... So Dani? Charles? Neither? Just wondering.

Woops, ****! Sorry Vicky. I guess Starrstruck and I posted at the same time. It cause a bit of confusion and I didn't notice the inconsistancy until just now. Hmmm, sorry about that... :animeswea I'll fix up the post so none of it happened. haha. D!

After the long night in jail, Brian had been released with no more than a slap on the wrist. Dani had gotten out first, followed by Charles and himself. Brian waited in the station for a few minutes trying to get his things. Also, he didn't really want to meet Dani or Charles once he walked outside. When he opened the tinted glass door to the police station, the morning sun shone brightly in his eyes. This sucks, he thought as he began walking across the street, not able to see. He was going to sit down on the bench, but one he got close enough he saw Charles already seated there. This sucks even more! he cursed in his brain. Basically, he was officially dead, he'd been to jail where he made some enemies, and he barely got a chance to talk to that Cathrine girl. Since the bench was unavailabe, Brian just ignored Charles and kept walking down the sidewalk, hoping to find a park or another cafe that he could rest at for a while. After that, he'd have to find some other way of getting a couple of dollars to call his manager back in Hollywood; he could wire some money to him and Brian could get back to Oklahoma to see his mom real quick. This whole trip was a complete disaster. It took quite a while, but Brian eventually found a place he wanted. There was a brochure shop with several different maps, but the city map actually cost money... That's bullshit, he cursed again. With the urge to fight back his powers dwindling and the headaches coming back, Brian waited for the door to open, and just like that, he sent a gust of wind into the store, blowing all of the maps around in a small whirlwind. When the map he needed blew out of the small shop, Brian let his powers subside and the door closed with a small click, leaving the unfortunte store worker inside all alone to pick up all the maps and brochures. Brian's headache was gone, and in fact he felt like he had enough energy to run a marathon. But it never lasted long; in about 45 minutes his head would be throbbing worse than it was before his power was used. The street wasn't too crowded, and the store had just opened so Brian didn't expect to get much attention from the use of his powers. But the sun was starting to hurt his eyes and that would only bring the migrane back quicker so Brian set off down a road that was shaded by a tall building. At the end of the street. He turned another corner only, to his most extreme displeasure, to find-- or rather nearly bump into Dani and the one called Moses. He had to stop to keep from catching Dani's attention, but the boy saw Brian and gave him a deep look of helplessness. He wanted Brian to help him out. What the hell am I supposed to do? This gothtard freaks the hell outta me! Sorry kid, you're on your own. Since Brian had put on his jacket, he guessed that Dani wouldn't recognize him if he didn't see his face. It would seem too obvious if Brian just stopped and then ran away. So he calmly put his head down, (so great at blending in) and walked by Dani and Moses until he was sure he was out of site. Let's not add gas to the fire. Whatever happens to the kid, happens. At least Dani won't kill him. he told himself, trying to sound optimistic. But Brian knew that even if Moses didn't die, nothing good could come from the wierd goth man. Brian pulled out his map that he'd stolen just earlier and saw that the park that he was looking for was just across the street. If he'd been paying more attention he could have seen it from the shop. It was time to relax, and the warmth of the sun made Brian think that a trip to the park was a good idea. "I sure hope the kid comes out alright though." ~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Sorry it took me so long to fix that post. But I got it changed so as to avoid the confusion.

The sun was high in the sky. That's a good sign, Brian thought. At least it was one second closer to getting out of there. So far he'd only spoken up twice. Both times to that Dani Character, and he was starting to see why he was in a cell by himself. What was worse, Brian was in a cell with Charles: The only other guy that acutally gave Brian an unsettling feeling. It was probably just because he'd seen Dani and him go at it. He didn't really know what to do. He'd never met such extreme people in his home town, and he'd only been living in California for a few months. It just hadn't been going good for him so far. Currently he sat there, thinking to himself, of ways to get out of this mess without giving his name. That was the only thing Brian was greatful to Dani for. He laughed to himself, I bet if the goth knew that I was trying to hide my name, he would have told it for me. After all, the man sure did seem to want to cause a lot of trouble. If the cops found out Brian's name, it wouldn't take long before they found out that he was on the flight that crashed just 20 hours prior. He could probably lie his way out of it, but all the strangeness going on, he didn't want any unnecessary attention. Charles took the bench in their cell, and so Brian sat down in the floor, his back against the bars and took in all of the sights at the all-so-apparent group of super powered freaks. Dani, despite all his toughness, definately took the worst beating. Serves him right. If wouldn't have picked a fight with every living thing, then he wouldn't have this problem. But he also seemed to be the strongest. Not physically, although that wasn't lacking, but he seemed to be the farthest along with his powers. And with his display on that girl called Juliet, it definately made him a force to be reckoned with. And Juliet, she was strong too. Brian had only met her unofficially a little while ago, but, hell, she seemed just as strange as the rest of the cell mates. If not wierder. And the way she moved and hurt that gothic fucker, brought Brian to the conclusion that she was, at least for now, on his side. Eddie. That was the guy that Brian had seen at the fight with something sticking out of him. It looked like a blue spike, but what it was for sure, he couldn't say. It certainly is odd though, he thought because there was not one drop of blood on Eddie. It seemed as though that spike that was in him was actually part of him! It strange to think about. Dorian seemed cool too, Almost like Juliet. He seemed to be on Brian's side for the moment in their collective animosity toward Dani, but he was one that Brian couldn't really figure out. Strength wise, he was stronger than Dani. So it definately gave Dani under-dog points for throwing a punch at a complete stranger who was obviously stronger than himself. Then there was Charles. Brian had already figured out what his power was. With the evidence in his fingerprints that were left burned into Dani's skin. He could see the large hand shaped burn on his arm and a couple finger shaped burns in his neck. Dani acted like he didn't notice, He's such a crazy shit, he probably like the pain, but Brian saw it while they were still in the wating room. Fire: Charles had fire abilties and Dani had dark powers of some kind. two down, five more to go. Nevermind, make that six. Someone else walked into the room. He wasn't young, but he wasn't 18 yet. Probably just a senior in high school. And once agian, there was something strange about him. Brian never caught his name, but the more all of these strange, seemingly random people found their way into the police station, the more Brian wanted to observe them and figure out what their 'gift' was. Or in Dani's and Charles' cases, their 'curse' He looked over at the cell with the two girls. He learned their names, but he didn't know much about them. The one called Beth, who seemed to be there with Charles (what an odd combination) was very anxious. She sat in a corner on the bench with her knees pulled up to her chest. She was doing something with her hands like she was nervous. And of course, she kept sneaking glances at Charles, who Brian saw return with some sort of aknowledgement. Lastly, this girl Eden. She was very beautiful, but she seemed the most distant and one of the few innocent ones, besides himself. Eden was the one that appeared to be with Dani, but with all the conversations and confrontation that had been going on, he quickly learned that Dani was just some sort of wierd stalker. Just then, the police came in for the third time, to put another girl in the cell right next to Brian and Charles and directly across from Eddie an Dorian. She huffed a bit. Brian didn't remember seeing her outside the cafe and there didn't seem to be anything that was out of the ordinary except for her wild blonde hair. Uninterested and rather tired, Brian layed his hid down on his knees, preparing to wait out the night. The commotion from all of the strangers seemed to quiet down a bit, but it was still there. However, Brian's mind was in too much pain to care so he just blocked it all out. A drop of water suddenly landed on the back of Brian's neck. This police station is a piece of shit, he thought, as he reached up to wipe of the droplet. But just a few seconds later, it reappeared with quite a bit more force. Brian looked up to the cieling but there wasn't even a crack or dent to indicate water damage. That's when he saw her: The blonde whispering to get his attention: "Hey, what's your name? Mines Cathrine." So she IS gifted, Brian thought as he gave Cathrine a friendly smile. "I'm Brian. Nice to meet you."

Hey guys, sorry for not posting in such a long time, but I'm finding it difficult to make time. I'll do my best to get it up tonight... Hopefully. But if not, I'll definately get it tomorrow... Mabye. Haha, I just want to get one post in from Brian before something happens and they all escape or Dani escapes... Whatever happens. Anyway, I'll get it there soon. Just try not to escape without Brian. (or a post from him anyway) Darren

Brian was still sitting in the Cafe, in the same booth he'd been in since sunrise. He kept hearing information about the plane crash that he'd caused play over the small TV, and it didn't help that the little waitress turned the volume up every 15 minutes until it was pounding inside his head. But he didn' have anywhere else to go. Normally he would have drowned his sorrows in alchohol, but in a strange city where he didn't have anywhere to sleep it off, he decided on coffee. He was now on his third cup and considering leaving the cafe, perhaps to go to a hotel. That's when it started. The ground started shaking. At first it started small, with only a few glasses breaking and only a few squeals from people in the cafe, but then it got more wild. Brian could barely keep his balance and he was in a chair! It stopped abruptly, leaving the small waitress clinging to a bar stool and several others on the floor with their mugs shattered. When Brian looked out of the window, he saw a large brawl out in the entrance to the cafe. Most seemed to be wrapped up in the earthquake to notice, but Brian realized just by sight, that the earthquake wasn't normal, and that those people(while all different in color and style) weren't normal either. He didn't even question their power. The only thing he was wondering was which one caused the earthquake. As he looked over each of them, he noticed something different, there was a type of shadow surrounding the two main "brawlers." and then he made eye contact with the latino standing nearby the fight. He didn't seem to notice that he had something stabbed into him... But then he realized that it wasn't going into the man, it was coming out. People began fleeing from him and out of nowhere, these bolts of something (Brian couldn't tell if it was lightning or not since it was so fast) started striking everthing, attempting to destroy everyone there. Even more people fled now. That's when Brian noticed some guy floating in mid-air. Just like Brian can do. "How are all these freaks right here? In this one spot?" he thought, and that's when he decided to go outside. He didn't get very far. There was some young by-stander who got hit with something. She was lying on the sidewalk, unconcious. And of course, Brian being the nice guy he was decided to help her out. ~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: I did have more, but I saw that Vicky wanted to be the one to post the arrests... So I deleted it, just know that Brian's up for defensive fighting if the brawl gets too wild...

Brian had been worried that he was going to get caught. He felt horrible about it, but ever since that intense rain storm, he wasn't able to get great sleep because every time he woke up, he was floating above his bed. And then with the panic that was caused, he fell with a crash back into his bed. His downstair neighbors were complaining of the terrible racket. One night, he even tied himself to the bed, but that only made things worse. When he woke, the bed was flying with him. "What the hell's going on?" he thought. What made matters worse. Brian had been having steady headaches throughout the week. And they seemed to get worse every time he woke up from his 'flying lesson.' The headache wasn't that bad, but when he went to the doctor for his constant migranes, the man wanted to put him in a medical journal... Needless to say, no one could really help him. At first brian thought it only happened when he was asleep, but one day he actually did something that seemed too odd to be a coincidence. He was walking down the sidewalk and a very pretty girl walked by. Brian wanted to look up her dress and just then a breath of wind blew up her skirt. Brian felt like a pervert afterwards, but he noticed something. When he thought about doing something, it usually happened, and what was better: His headaches went away temporarily. However every time he used them, his headaches got worse. Back whenever Brian was little and living at home, he remembered that his father used to always complain of head-splitting migranes. It wasn't really anything to worry about, but Brian couldn't even focus on his lines for the movie part he had just gotten. Since the movie was still in pre-production for a few months, Brian decided that he'd pay his dear old mom a visit to see what his father used to do about his migranes. That was then Brian now sat in a small cafe, thinking of some way to return to his life, but it was impossible. Brian was dead to society. He had flown on an airplane towards his mom's house when it exploded... Well rather, it was ripped apart from the inside. Somehow, Brian lost control of his power; without focus as a side-effect of his ability and he just exploded with a force so powerful it ripped the plane in two. There wasn't even a flame until the plane hit the ground. Not one person survived except Brian. He simply floated to the ground, safe and sound. Now, since he was officially dead, he didn't know what to do. He called his manager, and asked if there was any way to make it look like he was never on the plane and currently, his manager complied trying to pull some strings. But that still didn't stop her from asking Brian questions. It was all going to hell: His career, his life, his friends. What was he to do now? He looked around the cafe at all the strange people. Oddly enough, they didn't seem to be any better off than himself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OCC: I went ahead and put myself in the cafe since that's where all the action seems to be happening. I don't care what time it happens in, (morning or night) but anyone's free to come and meet with Brian. He's actually pretty lonely and freaked out right now, so it wouldn't be too bad for someone to come and talk to him.

Okay, First: I would just like to apologize for the lack of posting. I was going to stay up late and finish the entries for both of my RPs but once I saw Kredion's most recent post, I got a little thrown off. Which brings me to number... 2: The timeline seems to be a little thrown off with Kredion's last post. See I was going to politely wait until the next day, when Kredion had an interview with someone from the cafe for a possible job and have my character walk into the cafe... But it seems that he did one of two things: I)He either took the story line back to where Dani and Eden had entered the Cafe in the morning for breakfast and simply added breakfast. or II) he took the story line forward to night, because he left a post talking about how his brother wanted to take him out to meet some friends... Either way, it kinda messes up my whole entry. If I'm missing something in his posts, could you all help me out??? Thanks again. D! P.S. If we can get this all cleared up soon, I'll be adding my character to the mix tomorrow! YAY!

"This stuff is delicious!" said Bukamon as he and Jase shared one of the strange berries that Keramon had brought back. "Mmm---Hmm," Everyone replied in unison Jase wasn't that hungry, though and after he slept a few more minutes while everyone finished their food, Bukamon brought him a few and Jase chowed down. He didn't know why he wasn't hungry or very tired lately. Maybe it's depression, he thought. But then he pushed the thought out of his mind because in fact this was the most alive he'd felt in a long time. Jase settled on the thought that he was just too excited in the digital world to have time for sleep of food. "So, I guess it's time to move out. What do you guys say?" Aesera asked the group, as she packed up the last of her supplies. Everyone agreed, and the group left their cave in the early morning to head back into the forest. As Jase and Bukamon walked a bit behind everyone else, side by side, Jase took the oppurtunity to examine his digivice and tag more closely. The few buttons he pressed were in vein; he couldn't figure out how to get the stupid thing to work and the most frustrating part was that there was a small, empty compartment that was impossible to solve what it was for. "What are you doing?" Bukamon asked curiously as Jase gave up on the device and changed his attention toward the tag. "I'm looking at this tag thing... It kinda looks like an anchor," He said almost entranced by the design. "Well, it makes sense. We do live next to an ocean. And you are strong-willed. Your kinda like an anchor!" was Bukamon's input. But it was nothing that Jase hadn't come to expect from little B. In a way, his opinion got Jase to look at things in different ways. The rest of the trip through the forest was relatively smooth. Mia only tripped once to be caught by Gabumon. They had been in the forest for what seemed like an eternity. Everyone was getting ready to stop and fall when Jase decided that he was going to rest, but just then: "Look!" Brent pointed to a bright light at the edge of a forest. Jase pictured it as more of a light at the end of a long tunnel. Thank God, we can get out of here, he thought Just then, Jase heard something very faint off to the left not far from where the others were leaving the forest, "What is that," he asked. "It sounds really familiar. Wait I know what it is. Isn't that the sound your watch makes when the alarm goes off. " "But I left my watch in the back pack and the Biyomon..." Just then, he realized that his pack wasn't far away from him. "Come on, B! He shouted behind him, as he was already climbing a tree. When the two reached the treetops, they were both occupied with the beautiful view. The sun was now high in the sky, but you could see just about everything in the digital world. It was all so peaceful and serene. "What's that? Bukamon questioned as Jase picked up his pack and looked out to where Bukamon was pointing. Something was flying towards them very fast and it didn't look friendly! "B, we should get back to the others now!" Jase demanded, a bit of urgency in his voice. "No worries I can take him! Bukamon said, confidentally jumping from limb to limb across the treetops to meet this potentially strong and deadly enemy! "B, Stop! Jase shouted, but it was too late. Bukamon was hit directly and if it hadn't been for Jase's inability to move freely from limb to limb, he would have caught Bukamon as he flew back through the forest towards a field where the rest of the group was. Taking the short oppurtunity to look at the enemy while it was off guard, Jase saw that it was too odd to be a digimon. It had similarities: It looked like Angewomon, but it had one bird leg and her six wings were now similar to that of Birdramon's... This ins't possible, he thought, What is this? Just then, the half Angewomon, half Birdramon digimon looked up at him with 6 dark, black eyes. As Jase stood frozen in fear, she smirked with amusement at this human's frail body. Back on the ground, just outside the forest, Bukamon lay barely concious in Mia's arms. Aesera and Patamon had already ran into the forest but Brent, Mia, and their digimon stayed to look after B. "What happened to you little guy?" Mia asked. The only thing that Bukamon could even mutter was, "Jase," Just then, he felt something was wrong. Jason was in danger. He could die because of his stupidity. With all of his might, Bukamon tried to move; tried in vein to stand and go to his partner's help. And then something unlocked inside of B. His commitment to his friend was showing through in Bukamon's tears. Finally, Bukamon digivolved. "'Bout time," was all he muttered as his body began to change shape right in Mia's arms. Bukamon became Syakomon and without wasting any time, he turned to Renamon, "Throw me!" was all he said. It seemed odd, but Renamon knew what Syakomon was intending. "Right," she said. Renamon picked up Syakomon in one arm and Gabumon jumped on her back. In one great display of strength, Renamon leapt into the air, over the treetops of the forest with Syakomon and Gabumon. Once in the air, they could see the hideous being that was a cross between Birdramon and Angewomon. It was revolting and just as they had time to lay eyes on the creature, it charged for Jase. Patamon had just emerged from the treetops, slightly flying and Aesera was obviously somewhere just behind. All at once, Renamon threw Syakomon, Gabumon jumped off of her back, and all four (Syakomon, Renamon, Gabumon, and Patamon) attacked in a flurry of anger and desperation. The attack would never have succeeded on it's own, but Aesera had also pulled Jase's legs and he painfully fell, barely avoiding the creature's attack, toppling through the branches on his way to the ground. While the attack wasn't very affective, it managed to keep Jase alive and only his tag necklace was cut, sending it free-falling to the ground seperate from himself. Merlin was at the trunk of the tree and Jase landed with at 'thud' on top him and his digital partner. "You alright," Adam asked, helping Jase and Merlin up, "That was a pretty nasty fall." Jase didn't even have time to mutter a thanks to Adam or an apology to Merlin and Keramon. He was too busy looking for his tag with the anchor on it. When he finally found it it was about 10 feet from where he fell. He picked it up and noticed something strange: The anchor design was pushed over to the right slightly and a side of it was hanging out. At first, Jase thought he'd broken it, but then he pulled and the 'crest' slid out smoothly. He examined the crest more carefully and then he had an idea. He pulled out his digivice and saw a similar compartment to that of the tag and he slid it inside. The center of the digivice opened where there was once a black screen with a grid on it and the other side, one that Jase didn't even know existed, opened to reveal a black glove that was connected to the digivice. Suddenly all of this was making more sense. He took the digivice and ran out into the clearing, Just in time to see all four of the digimon that had saved his life come crashing to the ground from that "Andramon," as Jase now called it. All of those that re-entered the forest, exited just behind Jase and all of the digidestined were staring at him blankly, wondering if he'd discovered anything about the digivice. "Everyone," he shouted so they could all here, "It's the Tags, the crests slide out of them and into the digivices! At this, everyone started fumbling around in their pockets and bags for their digivices and around their necks for their crests and tags. "You want a fight? Well you got one now!" Jase muttered to himself. And the battle was on.

As far as the villian goes: I'd say go for it. While there will be complications of our own by simply using the power, it definately adds to it by giving the 'evil' a face... Hell, you could make it more than one person, like a coven or mafia.(with a head honcho of course) *throwing around ideas :animeswea * And I know this sounds kind of cliche, but you never specified that our characters were the only 'chosen ones' did you? Because if not, why can't we have a "Dark Zodiac," So to speak; a collective of equally dominant bad guys who have embraced their dark nature instead of resisting like our characters do, which would naturally make them stronger. And you could just go from there. Maybe the baddies don't want anyone else in existance who can threaten their power so they try to take them out... :animesigh MY VOTE: YES!!! ^_^ QUESTION!: Who's gonna play Saggitarius??? Thusly merged -- Lady Asphyxia.

OOC: I'm really excited about this thread. And just so you know Vicky, I'll be posting my POWER/NIGHT section as though it were my sample and then I'll post a seperate biography. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Brian Gallows Age: 22 Star Sign: Gemini Night: June 20 Happy Birthday, was Brian's only thought as he swallowed the last of his beer. He sighed and looked out the window of his apartment just outside Hollywood. Even from there he could see those beautiful white letters accross the hill side. They were inspiring and depressing at the same time. Brian was an aspiring actor and yet, he hadn't managed to get one job in the six months he had lived there. He'd been to every open casting call he found in the paper, and his agent called him daily about new walk-on roles for TV shows and movies, but Brian had yet to find his big break. Just then the phone began to ring. At first he though of answering it, thinking that it was perhaps his mom calling to wish him a happy birthday. He immediately pushed that though out of his mind; his mother never remembered his birthday when his older twin brother, Gary, was a successful businessman with a wonderful family. To be honest, Brian probably wouldn't have answered the phone even if it was her. The answering machine picked up and Brian heard his own voice over the system and then the voice of his agent, "Brian, it's me. Listen, I know your home. Pick up the phone I've got big news. Pick up. Pick-- Okay, well I just got word of a last minute drop out to a major motion picture movie and the company can't find anyone else. They've called all the agents they could think of and I was one of them. I've already read the script and it's pure gold. I think you'd be the perfect candidate for the part..." Brian listened to the rest of the message and wrote the address down on his hand, and then after putting on his jacket, he walked out the door prepared to wheather the raging storm. Conveniantly, the address was only a few blocks from where Brian lived. A good thing, he thought to himself because he was beginning to feel sick to his stomach. It wasn't a nervous kind of sick and it wasn't because of the storm. Brian never had any of those ailments. This was something completely different, something dangerous. However, Brian was the type not to ever let anything get in the way of his dreams so he pressed on through the heavy raindrops that stung his cheeks as he walked against the wind. Despite the fact that it was a last minute drop out, that didn't stop the amount of people that managed to find out about it and show up. At least it gave Brian time to dry off and read over the monologue excerpt that he would have to perform for the casting directors. He was excellent at memorization and within 10 minutes, Brian had it down pat, but he just couldn't shake that sick feeling. Even now, in the dry and warm building he had this unnerving feeling that something was breathing ice cold air down his neck. Of course, with all the people that came in and out of the building, Brian just assumed that the wind was coming from the doors being opened and closed. But even as he got further and further away from the entrance door, that same feeling persisted. In fact, if he hadn't known better, it was the gust of wind that was helping him dry off quicker. Inside the room, Brian performed the monologue (which happened to be a dramatic piece) with ease. He was even able to cry a little when it was necessary. Even though the directors had to keep getting up to close the windows that kept flying open, he ultimately felt good about the audition and decided that his birthday turned itself around. After returning home and a celebratory piece of birthday cake by himself, Brian was feeling overly worn out from the cold rain so he threw his wet clothes on the floor and fell down in bed to sleep. Apperance: Brian, Brian 2 Personality: Brian is very artistic. He loves to write, paint, and draw but his favorite thing in the world is acting. He's always been a recluse in life because he's not very fond of people. His brother was Mr. Popularity and he was always the lesser of the twins. His contempt for most people have led him to be strong-willed. He strives to become sucessful so he may prove his piers and family wrong. He's very controlling and craves to be in the spotlight. He's never had a real friend, but his agent is the closest thing to it. He talks alot, as is the way of most Gemini, but there's usually not anyone to talk to. He literally has an entire wall in his apartment covered with papers that he'd written his thoughts on. He's smart, which is why he struggles so much with the career in acting. His high hopes keeps him from many auditions, and the thought of becoming a joke in the business is worse than not making it at all. Biography: Brian was born in a small town in Oklahoma. His father left the family right after the twins were born. His mother did the best to take care of Gary and Brian and without a college education, she mostly worked double shifts and the two hardly ever saw her. In high school, Gary excelled at everything: He was the all-american boy. Brian wasn't interested in doing good in school. His eyes were set on the stage ever since the first time he laid eyes on it. He starred in every school production since 8th grade and the nickname "the lesser brother" was given to him when everyone found out that Gary had a younger, unknown twin. When he graduated he immediately moved to New York for film school. Just before graduation, Brian dropped out realizing that directing wasn't the life for him and so he moved to Hollywood. (or rather the outskirts of Hollywood) and met an agent who was in the same situation as he was. He was struggling as an agent, trying to find anyone to represent. It may not have been the best choice career-wise for Brian, but he was sympathetic and decided to give him a shot. The two became fast friends, and he's currently hoping to get his big break on this new movie. Powers: Aerokinesis. (the ability to control the currents of wind) This, in effect, gives Brian the ability of flight. However, the more he uses his power for whatever reason, the more strain it puts on his body. For example, if he flies into work one morning he may experience massive headaches. In the end, when his body reaches its limit, a massive force of wind explodes from it. Sometimes it actually takes the form of an explosion. Other times, it causes a tornado or other natural disaster. Either way, the outcome is never good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: I hope that's alright, Vicky. PM me if there's something wrong. I would have posted what his actual powers were in the same section of NIGHT, but it turned out to be too long, so I'll just post that in the next part. (if I should get it! ^_^) But I went ahead and left a description of his powers. The only thing is that Brian hasn't discovered them yet. (According to the post sample post)

It had been 3 days since Jase and Bukamon had touched down in the digital world and things were already looking grim for the duo. They had lost their pack in a fury of Biyomon and the two were beginning to think that they would starve to death. "I'm hungry," Bukamon moaned as his stomach let loud growl escape. "Well, B, if you didn't have to attack every living thing that you see, then we wouldn't be in this mess." Jase huffed a response. "I can hardly see how my excitement to see the digital world has anything to do with your losing the food," He barked back as he jumped from Jase's shoulder to walk along side him, "Besides, it's your fault for setting the bag on the ground and leaving it." "My fault? You ran up and attacked those Biyomon. And for your information, I was washing off in the lake and I didn't expect for the Biyomon to steal the bag." "Well that's what you get: Expect the unexpected. Apology accepted." Jase thought about replying, but he decided that there was no arguing with Bukamon. In fact, the silent treatment would make him suffer even more. And just as he suspected, after only 30 seconds, Bukamon was forced to speak, although he changed the conversation. "At least we found out a little about the digivice, right?" he asked earnestly "Sure, no thanks to you!" Jase shouted, sending some of the bird digimon flying out of the treetops in fear, "That digimon was going to tell us everything we needed to know about the 'D-Lazer,' but then you had to come along and attack it." "It's just not right for a stranger digimon to know that much. He was very suspicious--" "The only thing that's suspicious is that you havn't gotten us killed." Jase interrupted. After a short pause, Bukamon spoke, "At least we know that the digivice has three modes: Idle, Battle, and Mobile. I mean that's gotta be good for something, right?" "I guess, but I was just about to find what we're supposed to use the crests for." Jase replied. "Oh well, no use crying over spoiled milk." "B, the analogy is 'spilled milk,'" Jase sighed "Whatever," Bukamon retorted, looking up to the setting sun. "It's getting dark, we better find some place to sleep and fast." Jase didn't argue. In fact, he'd been looking for a place to rest for the night for several hours. When all seemed lost and he thought they would have to camp in an open field, Jase and B walked over a hill to find a beautiful crystal lake with a small cave right next to it. "Over there!" Bukamon pointed out, and after a bit of inspection of the cave, the two stopped to rest for the night building a fire to keep warm and boiling some water from the lake just in case. Several hours had gone by, the sun now completely submerged beyond the horizon and the moon in its former place, and Bukamon lay asleep in Jase's lap as he stared blankly at the night sky, thinking that everything was worth it just to be able to come to the digital world; even losing his backpack and all thier food. Just then, he heard a twig snap at edge of the cave. "Who's there?" Jase asked, standing up and waking Bukamon. But before anyone could even answer, "BUBBLE BLOW!" Bukamon attacke at the shadows. "Wait! Wait! We're friends!" was a quick response. Jase couldn't see who had given the reply, but he could tell it was a girl. "My name is Aesera, and we're all digidestined as well." "We?" Jase asked "Digidestined too!" Was Bukamon's only input. "Yes, We." Aesera, said stepping into the light with several other people and digimon. "This is my digimon partner, Patamon..." And all the proper introductions were exchanged between the group. After a short update on what all had happened to the digidestined and how they all got there, Aesera decided that it was best to get some sleep. Surprisingly, though, she herself wouldn't sleep for several more hours. Jase thought she was just keeping watch and regardless of all of his protests, she refused to sleep. So, the two digidestined, who had only just met a couple hours previously and were literally strangers, kept each other company until the sun rose. ~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: I noticed that you can't access the underground Digimon Eternity thread through the underground thread anymore So I'm gonna post up a link here. Here it is: Digimon Eternity: Underground

It had been three weeks since Jase had found that strange object that Bukamon had called a digivice and Jase was sitting on his bed, holding it and staring intensly at the wall. "What could it be?" He asked himself. Of course he wanted to fulfill his oath to his grandpa about going to the digital world, but why wasn't he able to work that damn device? In the three weeks he'd found it, with its tag and crest, he had already heard of strange dissappearances across the globe. "Wat'cha thinkin' about," Bukamon interrupted his train of thought as he jumped up onto the bed. "Not about the digivice again?" "How can I not think about it?" He spat in anger, "How do we even know that it's a digivice? And even if it is, what if it wasn't meant for us? I mean it's been three weeks," He paused for a bit, thinking, then added, "Maybe we aren't meant to save the world." "I don't think that we would have found it if we weren't meant to go to the digital world, so you don't need to think about that,"Bukamon said confidently, however Jase could see the doubt on his face, "And you probably play an important roll, just like everyone else that's already there. You're just not needed yet. You just wait: Once we get there, we'll be a lot of help! Have faith, Jase!" "Yeah, well, I'll believe it when I see it." He said, For now, we need to get some rest, B." And they both layed down to sleep with their digivice laying right next to them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The boy and his digimon layed beside each other for several hours. Jase was constantly up throughout the night, stealing glances at his digivice, praying that it would do something, and insure his confidence. At about 2:00 AM, after he had admired the delicate features of the device, he looked down at Bukamon and patted him silently on the head. "Look at him," Jase thought. "He's so small and yet, he's got more faith than I've ever had." Bukamon shifted a bit on top of the comforter, and then settled back again. "Maybe the reason we can't go is because I've been too pessemistic. Maybe B's right, and I'm not mature or ready enough to go." He looked over through his window at the beautiful night sky wondering if the digital world had a sky just as beautiful. "That's it." He thought, "No more waiting. I'm going to keep my promise. It's all up hill from here!" Jase got up out of bed quietly, so as not to wake up Bukamon. He packed his bags, (along with his Grandpa's compass that he'd given him when he was six and several days worth of food) and then he woke up Bukamon: "B! B, get up, we're going to the digital world." he demanded as he nudged Bukamon "What? Really? When?" The little monster jumped up from his deep sleep, excitment full in his eyes. He couldn't keep from jumping around. "We're going now so hurry up and grab whatever you'll need." Bukamon ran about the room, digging through laundry drawers, looking for his black handkerchief with flames on it. Jase had given it to him only a couple of weeks ago, and Bukamon only took it off for bed and baths. Jase let Bukamon jump onto his back, resting on the back pack, and then he held up his digivice to the computer. "Wait! Isn't it supposed to be glowing or something?" The little monster asked, "How are we supposed to get to the digital world if you can't make the digivice glow." All Jase said was, "Have faith, B." The two stood in front of the computer for about five minutes, Jase's pure will, keeping himself from giving up. "No more doubt. I made a promise and I'm going to keep it!" Just then, the digivice started to glow and with a smirk on his face, Jase looked back to Bukamon, "Told ya." Then, after one last mental check of everything he would be needing in the digital world he let the only words he could think of leave his mouth: "DIGITIZE," and the boy and his digital partner were gone. ~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Okay, I finally got around to finsihing it. I see that the story hasn't progressed very far. (as far as story days) So I'll be able to write a new post tomorrow meeting up with everyone. Please forgive me for the long wait. I'll make it up to everyone with a great RPG! Haha, I hope. ^_^

Okay, guys... I did my best to get the crests and digivices on here soon, and they didn't turn out the way I wanted so forgive me if you think they're low quality... I ran into some problems... But here they are. Serinity Justice Tolerance Harmony Beauty Freedom Order Security Now time for the digivice: I know, the pictures look really grainy, but I said that I ran into some problems and I fixed them up as much as I could. Sorry. Okay basically, the D-Laser is what we'll be using for this story. And it has 3 modes... 2 are pretty simple... The other is really complicated, so let's get started Mode 1) Idol This is the idol mode to the D-Laser, and this is how all of the digidestined find their digivices... Obviously it comes with the tag and crest, but you should already know what the tags look like. (it's just a simple necklace with your crest in it) Allow me to explain: It's 8 in. long, and it's a keychain. So you could clip it onto your belt loop so not to loose track of it, whatever. The tracking screen is used for just that; tracking. That's the little blip that the digidestined follow once they touch down. It shows all the digivices. And while in Idol mode the scroll buttons are used to zoom in and out on the tracking screen as well as scroll up, down, left, and right. to see other digivices that might not currently be on the screen. The speaker or antenna is not important in this mode. The scanner is used for battles... Once your digimon defeats a splicer or whatever they defeat, you may scan their data like in season 4. When you do this, the data gives you an item. Either a boost, (for something like health or speed) a debuff, (to possibly slow your enemy down or make them weaker) or a new power. After scanning, there really isn't much left to do unless you're in a different mode, so I won't go into details. The locked flip screen is unlocked by slipping your crest into the crest compartment. The digidestined only figure this out by accident because they aren't even aware that the crest can come out of the tag... When they do though, they will be able to enter the second mode. Mode 2) Battle Here's where it gets complicated. You may have noticed that there is a glove. I dont' blame you if you didn't, it's really hard to see. Once you insert your crest into the compartment, The glove compartment that's hidden on the back of the D-Laser opens up as well as the screen. Obviously you put the glove on and it allows you do view your digivice on a side view, as shown. The keychain, antenna, and scrool buttons are pretty much useless in this mode. The digimon camera view, allows you to see through your digimon's eyes. And the Status view allows you to see all of their stats. (if they're hurt, if they're slowing down, etc.) The speaker allows you to speak to your digimon and vice versa if they're too far away to just yell back and forth... The screen obviously shows you something. As you press the battle scroll buttons (not to be confused with the other ones. They're right next to the screen) it will let you scroll of the items that you've scanned. (debuffs, aids, other things, etc.) Once you have the item you want to use for your digimon you push the execute button. (The red oval one) A lazer will shoot out of the scanner and you point it at your digimon to give it to them, or point it at the enemy to harm them... the pull strip is for storing special artifacts that have been scanned. (Because the digidestined will be finding some artifacts that need to be used. Once you pull it out and touch the artifact you want to use, it shows up on the screen, and you push the execute button and point the lazer at your digimon. The other various buttons are just that: Various buttons. I added them for dramatic affect. basically the D-Lazer is supposed to require the digidestined to be more involved with their digimon's battles. (As opposed to the past where they just act like the little innocent bystanders who always need saving) You don't have to say what the buttons actually do when you post because this whole digivice operation is supposed to be a learning process. So don't worry about details when you post about the digivice. I don't want this to a science when it comes to the post, even though it seems like it here. Note: Once you enter battle mode, you my automattically digivolve to Champion level. The other levels will be explained by Takuya or myself in the post we make. Now for the last one. Mode 3) Mobile This is probably the simplest mode of all. Simply slide the face of the digivice up and the digivice immediately turns into what looks like a phone. The tracking screen is turned into a contact screen with the names of the contact's digivices. (Because the D-Lazer doesn't know what the other digidestined's names are) The scroll buttons are used to scroll the list and then select the person you want to call. obviously, you hold it up to your face like a regular cell phone. If there's an incoming call, the antenna will start blinking and the digivice will ring... This only works if you're in a 10 mile radius away from your contact... Otherwise they won't even show up on the contact list. Be careful though not to talk too long: The antenna gives off a radiowave that any evil or spliced digimon can pick up on. If you talk to long, you'll find yourself in a sticky situation. Okay that's it. If you have any questions about the digivice or the RP in general, don't hesitate to post here or PM me. Thanks again, Darren

Okay guys, I'm sorry about the long wait. I know Acheron resigned, but I hope he'll reconsider. So for now, I'm going to write this like he's joined. So here are your crests/characters. As far as the digivices go, I'll be posting all that jazz in the underground and the RP, when I get it started. I hope that it will be started by Monday at the latest. Crest of Freedom - Acheron Crest of Harmony - Nefertimon Crest of Tolerance - Deathsye Crest of Justice - Tempest Crest of Serinity - Darren Crest of Order - Takuya Crest of Security - Squirr31y Crest of Beauty - Knuckles' Girl Like I said, I'll try to get this thing going by Monday. Okay guys, I'm glad I've gotten this many sign-ups. I'm here just to give an update and to post my sign-up. I plan on ending the sing-ups sometime this week, so I hope that more will sign soon. Just real quick, I'd like to go through and say a few things that might need to be taken into consideration. 1) Tempest, I need you to finish your sign-up sometime soon. 2) Deathsye, I know you want Beelzemon as your mega level for Impmon, and while Impmon does digivolve into IceDevimon and then BlueMeramon, BlueMeramon does not digivolve into Beelzemon. I would like for you to consider an alternate digivolution route. Perhaps you should think about Boogeymon, followed by Phelsemon. Basically if the digivolution doesn't exist in the show or by the card game, then I can't allow it. Sorry. That's about it. I think all the sign-ups are great. And if you guys fix the problems I listed above, things would be great. Now for my sign up: Digidestined Information Name: Jason Evrette (Jase) Age: 16 Gender: Male Country: Australia Personality: Jase is an outgoing young man. Very popular, smart, and athletic, he's your all-american boy from Australia, so to speak. He likes to have fun, and loves the thought at adventure. He's always the first and last to do something and his strong-will is overwhelming if you challenge him. He's a true friend, and you can always count on him. While he's all of these things at once, he also feels extreme pressure from his family and friends to be something great... Even if he doesn't want it for himself. Bukamon, however, is the only one who doesn't put pressure on Jase and he makes sure that Jase has as much freedom as possible. The two often escape on Jase's dad's boat and just sail around, with nothing but the calm water and his imagination to take him away. In a nutshell, Jase is smart, athletic, out-spoken, a great friend, and prefers to be a loner even though he can never truly get away from people. Biography: Jase was born in Austrailia to his parents. However, his mother died during pregnancy and Jase grew up with his two cousins, his dad, and his grandpa. The entire Evrette family had Koromons except Jase, and that always made him feel like an outsider. His father was a very rich designer of speed boats and Jase grew up with Pitimon listening to his grandpa's stories of the digital world and how that awful girl sealed the digital world, stopping all flow between the two worlds. One day, Jase's grandfather fell ill and passed away. That same day, Jase made a vow to see the digital world and help fix it. Also, Pitimon finally digivolved into Bukamon. Jase was inspired to be all that he could be so that he would make his Grandpa proud and that he might be able to go to the digital world. Apperance: This is Jase, It's really not important what he's wearing. He has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. As seen, he wears glasses, but he also wears contacts, so don't get too caught up on the glasses. He's about 5'11" and 157 lbs. He's not extremely built, but he's not weak either. He usually wears flip flops, cargo shorts or swim trunks, and a nice button up beach shirt. His digital world apperance doesn't change much. It's just suited better for the harsh environment of the digital world as apposed to the beach in Australia. They did this almost every morning, but this morning was a special day. It was officially one year since Jase's grandfather had passed away. And even more special, one year since Pitimon had digivolved into Bukamon. "What do you think is in the digital world, Jase?" Bukamon often asked that question. And Jase never really had a reply. He just said that it was probably filled with all kinds of digimon that they'd never seen before. But tonight, he didn't feel like answering, he just wanted to set there and watch the sun rise in silence and Bukamon knew this. "I have an idea," Jase said, setting up, and heading for the cabin, "We can make a memorial for Grandpa" The boy and his digimon gathered all the materials they would need. They made a tiny paper sailboat complete with a small candle and they set it off to sea. The current carried it away, and Bukamon dove into the water to swim away along with it. Jase focused all of his attention on the paper boat until the light became too dim to see. By that time, the sun was up and it was about time to head off for school, and the return of Bukamon clarified this. "You ready to go?" he asked his digimon. It was common for them to stay a little afterwards and show up late for school. "Yes, but there's some sort of strange light out there," Bukamon said, "I mean besides the candle from the paper boat. Can we go take a look? he asked anxiously. Normally, Jase would have said no, but there was something in Bukamon's voice that made him want to go. He grabbed his surf board, and headed out just behind Bukamon. About 10 minutes later, the light had finally become apparent to Jase and he dove in the water to see what it was. Upon retrieving the strange object, Bukamon said, "You know what that looks like?" "No, what?" "A digivice, which is really strange. Those haven't been around for over 50 years." Bukamon pointed out. "Yes. I know that. Are you sure it's a digivice?" Jase asked. "Well, I can't be for sure, but judging by that little crest on the clip, I'd say I was right." "Thanks. I don't need sarcasim." Jase retorted. He held up the digivce and, sure enough, there was a clip that had a chain connected to it. The chain in turn let to some kind of tag with a crest inside it. Jase carefully slid out the blue crest and saw that it looked oddly like an anchor. "What crest is it?" Bukamon asked nervously. "I don't know," Jase replied, "I've never seen it in any of my history textbooks. Mabye it's a new one." he said letting his imagination wander. "If that's the case, then maybe I'll be able to keep my promise to Grandpa and we can finally go to the digital world."

Many years have passed since that first rag-tag team of digidestined step foot on the digital plane and saved both our worlds from sure destruction. In that time, many things have changed, and the world has been at peace for the first time in history. Now days, every child recieves a digimon at about four or five years of age, but no longer does anyone recieve crests or digivices; Everyone is a digidestined and at the same time, no one is. The digital world is now something that is only discussed under the topic of mythology and without crests or digivices, digimon remain in their Baby or In-Training stages and the digital world remains in-accessable and a complete mystery. "What could have sparked this change?" You might ask... Well the answer is simple: One girl's love for the digital world. It all started several years ago, when everyone had a crest and digivice and the world was open to anyone who pleased. Since the discovery of how the digital world worked, scientists began altering their technology to, in-turn, alter the face of the digital world and even create their own, "spliced" digimon to inforce a form of government, which was strongly needed since everyone had access to the world. In the year 2006, a technological prodigy, in the form of a girl, slipped into the digital world and created her own spliced digimon to fight for her. Through the years, she created more and more splicers until she had an army at her command. Her greed grew and consumed her with darkness. She thought that she should be the only one to live in the digital world. So, like lightning striking the earth, her army attacked the residents of the digital world. They pushed back all the humans into the real world and sealed all the portals. She also altered the digital world to destroy every digivice and never create another one again. Of course, this victory for the girl didn't come easy. There were still a few who found a way into the digital world, and their power only grew over the several generations that had passed. It was then that the girl decided the digital world was no place for any of the digimon either. Only the spliced monsters were to remain in the digital world, at her command. The rest, would be created in the human world. Her plan worked: Now every child recieved a digimon, and since everyone had a digital partner, people began thinking that the digital world and the human world had combined and become one and they gave up on trying to enter the digital world. They thought that someone must have saved both worlds again and there would be an eternity of peace. They were wrong. While the real world is peaceful and at harmony, the digital world is equally converse. It's filled with hatred, chaos, and fear. This is the worst condition the digital world has ever been in, and the worst part is that no one knows about it. The year is now 2059, and our villian of the story made a miscalculation when she sealed the digital world. In recent events, eight digivices were sent throughout the world and the portals are about to re-open. It's now up to the first digidestined in five decades, to save both worlds once again. SIGN UP - Digidestined Name: That's pretty self explanitory... If you want nicknames, make sure you put that in parentheses. Age: That's easy, I assume Country: Any country in the world. Just pick one. Gender: Male or Female. I don't want any transexuals, I don't think that's common in digimon series anyway. Personality/Biography: This needs to be at least a couple of paragraphs. I need to know your character's personality in order for me to choose your crests. Please do not give me a biography without a personality. I need both. Apperance: Explanation or picture would be fine. If you want to provide me with two (one for the real world and the other for the digital world) that would be fine as well. Digimon Name: That's simple. No made up digimon. It needs to be real Digivolution Line: Give me their digivolution line... Once again, the line need to be real. (No Augumon digivolving into Garurumon) I need the line from Baby to Mega, Apperance(s): I need the apperance of all forms. I would look myself but, I don't have that much free time. But after you provide me with the pics, I'll post all the links up in the underground whenever it's created. Miscellaneous Digivice:I'll provide you with a picture of my D-Laser that I've drawn up once I get the underground thread going. Until then, I just need you to choose the colors. There is 1 main color and 2 minor colors. Don't worry about conflicting colors with other sign-upers. You just do your thing. Example: This is not required. However, it would help a lot if you gave me an example so I can see how you write. More than likely, I'll search for past posts anyway, and see how well you write so you might as well save me some time. For this example, I want you to write about your character and their digimon finding their crests and digivices. (don't worry about which crest, because your character won't know the name anyway) Remember, your digimon have to be in their baby or in-training stages because they're in the real world during the example. The time frame of your example should be sometime within a week before new year's. Once again, there is a reason for this. One last thing, Takuya and I are running this thing together... Have fun.

Preferred Location: Racoon City. My second choice would have to be The Island, or Mushroom Kingdom. I don't know much about Legend of Zelda, and I've never played the other ones. I know most about Resident Evil, so I would love that one. But whatever works. Why?: Hmmm, well, I love the concept. I love everything about the game. And I may be new, but everyone was new at one point or another. I'm constantly writing stories, so I'm pretty good. I just haven't had a chance to become noticed on Otakuboards. I think I could be a great addition to the story. Sample: Well, as I've said, I'm new, so I don't have too many excerpts. However, I've been a part of Vicky's Brotherhood of the Wolf So I guess an excerpt from that should suffice.
Kyoto, Japan The Shimozato House 5:32 pm Haruki had been home for two weeks and three days. Despite everything that had happened, he couldn't imagine leaving his father's house. It seemed a bit empty at times, but Haruki ignored that by leaving dirty clothes piled on the floor and dishes left on the table and counter. To him, it was so dirty that it looked like Haruki had a room mate. In the two weeks that Haruki had been home, he dedicated himself to the brotherhood. He searched the internet and local library for any details on this beast. It seemed that every ancient culture he read about had one. Haruki began to think that they were all the same creature. Japan called it a demon soaked with the blood of the earth... The wierdest part was that it didn't have a name in any culture, except that it was a demon, beast, etc. Haruki had also been looking in the current news across the world. He had discovered many stories of accidents... And what could be called terrorist actions, but no one saw how it happened. He surmised that anyone who was close enough to see the beast, probably died before they had a chance to tell anyone. He was trying to follow its movements, but they were so erratic that it was impossible to tell for sure which ones were caused by the beast and which ones by something else. The different patterns gave Haruki three possible destinations that the beast was traveling: Towards the U.K., Down central Asia into India. Or east across northern Russia, possibly headed to Alaska. He didn't know weather or not the beast could travel across water, but he didn't deny it since every culture had some claim of it's existence. It seemed like every time Haruki would come close to completing his study of the beast that a new accident would pop up or he would find new information about the beast. In a span of two, barely-rested weeks, Haruki thought it was time to give the brotherhood a rest and do a bit of living. Unfortunately for him, he recieved an e-mail later that day: Brother Shimozato, My name is Tala-Taima. I'm sure you know who I am. I was very pleased to hear of your induction into the brotherhood. I have heard nothing but good remarks from Brother Effrom. I am sorry about your father and while I've never met him personally, my father talked of working with him in America on several occasions. The brotherhood is having a meeting for all new and old members at our underground HQ, and I would like for you to be there. If you wold like, Brother Effrom or myself could meet you at the airport in England. You would need to leave either today or tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you there, Brother Taima Haruki sighed... Maybe he shouldn't have spent so much time eating noodles in front of his laptop. It was finally time to join the real ranks of the brotherhood. At least he would be able to size up the other members and see where he ranks. He searched the internet for tickets to London, but none were available for 4 days. However, there were a couple seats left leaving the airport in 5 hours that went to Berlin, Germany. From there, Haruki could get a later flight to London. Without even glancing for any quicker options, he booked the flight from Kyoto to Berlin at 10:00 pm, and Berlin to London at 5:00 pm the following day. Haruki figured that it would give him enough time to investigate the supposed attack just 20 minutes outside Berlin and he would be able to tell if it was truly the beast or not. Haruki sent a reply to Brother Taima and proceeded to get ready for the trip. He wasn't sure how long it would take so he packed enough to last him a week or two. Then, Haruki took his fully charged laptop and called a cab. He would use some of the small fortune his father left him to pay for the taxi and the plane. With that, Haruki grabbed his weapons and loaded them into their specially designed cases, and headed out the door to wait for his taxi. A few hours later, he was boarding the plane for Berlin, praying that the beast hadn't struck there. If that were the case, then he guessed that it was heading directly for the Brotherhood headquarters; Something that would end terribly for everyone.
Alright guys, I was thinking of adding this new RPG, but one of the main reasons why I was waiting so long is because I wanted to have a break from Digimon Threads for a while.... Elementals is already started... There's another one with about 70 posts, but I can't remember the name, and now there's a new one in the sign up. (I can't remember what the title is... A whole bunch of 1s and 0s) Anyway, that's just too many for my liking. I don't want to seem like the guy who's creating an RPG just to have people join and then seem like I'm copying those other people who put serious thought into their Digimon RPG... In fact, that new one, kinda made me mad, because I've had this one posted up in the underground for quite some time, and I've even confirmed that I'll be making the RP, but then someone goes off and makes a sign-up... And maybe I'm just being paranoid, and I apologize if I'm out of line, but I'm entitled to my own opinions. It seems like the new one is a cheap knock-off from mine. Splicers... Evil fused digimon... It was obivous from my story on the underground thread that I was going to have digimon that were spliced (or fused) together be the baddies of the digiworld, but whatever..... T_T And I would post my own opinions about the new thread elsewhere, but there isn't an underground for it! Also, it just seems like as long as you create a digimon thread, you'll get sign-ups. I mean that RPG had no real story that I could figure out... Some log entries about fusion, an experiement gone wrong... And that's all... Then it gives the sign-up info (stuff about spirits and tamers and what-not) Anyway, I was planning to post this sign-up sometime soon, once I refined the story line with Takuya's help, but now I can't because it's too soon to Roxa's... That's why I was waiting until Jokopoko's got at least 25 posts... So, you could imagine how this will hinder my enthusiasm about posting another digimon RPG... It was a nice sign-up, and there's no conformation that I won't start it, but for now. I'm going to hold off on it. Thanks everyone for your interest. *EDIT* Well, after my little rant, I feel kinda dumb. I didn't realize that that one in the sign-ups was necromanced... haha, okay... So everything that you just read... Forget it all, This sign-up thread will posted sometime soon, once I converse with Takuya on the story a bit. Have fun! (and now that I've said that it was a cheap knock-off and it was created before mine, it seems like mine is the knock-off) Oh well!
Well, you can count me in. There's been a general lack of the kind of RPGs I enjoy lately, so it's nice to see that someone's planning one I'd be interested in. Just one thing. If the RPG is set only 50 years in the future, don't go too crazy with technology. Some technological advancement is fine, but don't let it get out of control. For example, there shouldn't be terraformed moons or other planets. I could see a colony on the moon in 50 years (though not necessarily an American one), but it would be a contained environment, similar to a space station. An don't have illnesses be completely eliminated, either. Treatment for diseases we have today is fine, but there will always be new diseases. Anyways, aside from that, I think your idea's fine.
Haha, yeah... About that whole time thing: That was a mistake on my part because I did have it set like way far into the future, and then Jokopoko showed me the error in that and that it was a pathetic attempt at a sci-fi angle... So I changed the times, but forgot to edit everything else... Either way, all of the technological advances will be described by the players of the game, and most of it will be irrelevant to the story except to explain how large the digital world is compared to the first season or so... Well, I'm decently proud of the results this thread is getting after two days, I think. Three comments in two days when most don't even bother themselves with the underground unless a sign-up requires it, is pretty good. So I think I'll start the RP, but not for a while, I still have to get all the kinks out of the story and figure out how I'm going to make it work, what with school starting and all. But I assure you, you will probably see something in the next month or so. I'll keep you posted. In the mean time, feel free, to continue with the comments or advice. And if you would like to contact me directly, to help out with the story and what not, just send me a message. It's much quicker. Thanks ^_^ P.S. Thanks Sandy, for the help with the crests. They're great and I've already drawn them all out!

"Wake up," Allen demanded. "Haruki, get up!" Haruki awoke with a jolt to find Brother Allen Effrom staring down at him. He was setting on the coffee table, looking at Haruki with a twisted cruious kind of look. "Jesus, where did you come from?" Haruki was still dazed, and waking up in unfamiliar places didn't help with his surprise. "I live here," came the reply, "I've been up since dawn. I made you some breakfast, picked up the paper and took care of some brotherhood business. And yet, you were still sleeping. I couldn't allow you to sleep the beautiful day away. Besides, you've been called." Effrom finished with a suddenly more serious look creeping onto his face. "What do you mean I've been called? Called for what? Did they leave a message?" Allen smiled, "No. You haven't been called on the phone. You've been called by Taima to report to Paris." "Oh," Haruki stated, a little embarrassed. Then, "When do we leave?" "Well brother Taima and the others have already left." When Allen saw the angy stare Haruki was giving him he snapped, "Don't give me that look. I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't budge." "Well, you didn't seem to have a problem waking me up just now, did you?" Haruki retorted. "I only did that because you were making noises like you were in pain... I thought maybe you were having a nightmare." Effrom said earnestly. "Here. Put these on," he said as he handed Haruki his glasses, "There's a clean towel in the bathroom. you should shower up, then come down for breakfast. I've taken the liberty of buying you a bus ticket to Dover. From there, you're on your own." "Gee, thanks." Haruki said sarcastically, as he entered the bathroom and closed the door. During the time he spent in the shower, Haruki couldn't stop thinking about what had happened the night before. The meeting with that strange man who called himself Brother Flory, and their conversation. And then, at the meeting, why would the brotherhood turn on him so quickly. His father had alwyas been a trusted member of the brotherhood, or at least that's what Haruki had been led to believe. 'Ah well, I got out of it didn't I?' he thought as he turned off the water. After breakfast, Haruki changed and packed once again. This was the second time that he would have to leave brohter Effrom's house under such unfair conditions, but considering the times, it was to be expected. "Haruki?" Allen called, as Haruki was lugging his suitcase out the door to load it into the cab. "If you don't mind my asking, what were you dreaming about?" "Losing." Was the only reply he could give. "Losing what?" Effrom continued to pry. "Everything." He said, and walked out of the door. The ride to the bus station was nice. The Bus ride to Dover: Not so nice. Haruki discovered the problems with sea sickness. The huge bus rocked back and forth so much, he got sick. Luckily, there was a bathroom in the back. Once Haruki had arrived in Dover, the beautiful white cliffs helped calm his stomach. This was the first time that he was alone in a place he didn't know. From Dover, he had the choice to take the scenic route on a small boat across the channel, or take a cab through the underground tunnel to Calais. Haruki thought that the underground tunnel would be better considering his last encounter with a shakey ride. By the end of the night, Brother Shimozato was put up in a hotel just outisde Paris, awaiting a phone call from Taima. At exactly 1:30 am Haruki's phone rung on the nightstand beside his head. He jumped up and answered it, eagerly awaiting his next command. But the voice that came through didn't sound much like Brother Taima's. In fact, it didn't sound much like any of the brotherhood members that Haruki had spoken to. But he listened to the raspy, quiet voice, "Come to the Louvre." Was all it said before the connection was ended. Haruki wasn't sure who it was, but he gave the strange person the benifit of the doubt. No one but Brother Taima had his Cell number, so it must have been someone from the brotherhood. Reluctantly, Haruki packed his weapons in their special cases, to avoid suspicion, and headed out the door. ~~~~ OOC: I hope that's alright. I was waiting for someone else to post, but since no one did for a while, I just decided to move the story along. I hope no one minds that I've moved the characters out of London already and into Paris... ^_^
I have to say that your idea sounds great. I planned a similar-kind of post-Season 2 fanfic myself when I was still hot on Digimon. ;D If you want 8 Digidestined, maybe you should predetermine the 8 crests and make sign-uppers choose from them (instead of making their own). That way you can also control the names of the crest (the thought that they represent the things that the kids are trying to restore to the world is very cool). Just don't have both "Liberty" and "Freedom", because, you know, they mean the same thing, heh. ;D It's good that you make the game the way you want it, not following the "canon" too succumbingly, but be careful that you don't godmod (tyrannize) your game to death. Some people in these Boards tend to do that, making the participants lose interest prematurely. Make some room for the other players' ideas too, and you'll have a winning concept at your hands!
Yes, I've done the whole "godmod" thing before when I first started and not many liked it. haha, now I know why. But yes, I've already created some of the crests. I've even drawn out some of them and I plan to scan them so eveyone can see later. I'll also scan on the digivice I've drawn once I make the RP. Haha, I didn't think about Liberty and Freedom... I have to be more careful when picking my crest names. But thanks for the input!

Yes, I know... Another Digimon RP. This is being terribly over-done right now, but that's why I'm posting this in the underground thread first. This story has been lingering in my mind for the good part of a month, and last night, I was hit with a more detailed plot and setting, and I couldn't help but post it just to see how it would fare on the sign-up part. I know that right now, Jokopoko has a Digimon RP going and there have been a couple spin-off type RPs attempted, and I don't plan to create another one unless I get good feedback from everyone here. So here's what I'm going to do: I'll give you the intro that I've written out, and then I'll do my best to explain the current world of digimon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Many years have passed since that first rag-tag team of digidestined step foot on the digital plane and saved both our worlds from sure destruction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's it. Now for the explination. I've only seen the first two seasons of Digimon and I obviously wanted to continue that story. This takes place in the same reality of the first two seasons. I'm sure that all you digi-buffs knows that in the finale of season 2, the adult T.K. talks about how everyone has a digimon since he and the others had saved the digital world. Anyway, this is long after their lifetimes, obviously. Technology has grown... A lot, and if you could imagine it, it's there. Moving sidewalks, hover cars, a terraformed moon, there are no illnesses, etc. I would let the people who join, work out the details of this technological world. And since technology is so great, you could only imagine how much the digital world has grown in almost 50 years. And of course it's in chaos. Most of the old digiatal world, is a wasteland, completely destroyed by the wars that took place between the splicers and the few digimon that remained there. It's impossible to keep up with the growing digital world. Therefore, the outer layers of the digital world are peaceful and vibrant with plant and digimon life. There are no splicers and these outer layers are similar to the old digital world. Ouside that, is a large ocean, complete with several thousand islands both large and small. And beyond that is the void, the nothing plane that is waiting to be created. This void plays a key role in my story. ;) Anyway That's about it... Please, leave comments, because I'm eager to create this RP, but I won't do it if it doesn't get good feedback. And I know that digimon RP's are way over-done, but this is a chance at a completely original and kind of different approach to the genre. :animesmil P.S. This isn't really a must-know for the story, but this RP will be set up for a total of 8 players. Also, instead of crests based on attributes of the digidestined, like in the past, (courage, reliablility, love, etc.) the new crests are based on things the digidestined are supposed to bring back to the digital world when they save it. (Liberty, Harmony, Freedom, and so on) And the last detail: I've created and drawn out my own special digivice and it incorperates the best from all the digivices. There will be the use of eggs, DNA Digivolution, Scanning, and Spirit Evolution. As well as a new thing that I've created special for this RP called Void Devolution... However, I can't explain how that works because it would completely ruin the surprise. hehe! :catgirl: I have a lot in store for this story, so I hope some people are supporting! :animesigh

Name: Max Aronson Nicknames: None Gender: Male Age: 28 Appearance: This is what he generally looks like. He's not a very tidy person. In fact, he's been known to pilot the ship in nothing but his boxers. His hair length and color varies... And he has a really large tattoo of an angel wing that starts on his right shoulder blade and goes around his shoulder to his chest. It makes it looke like the wing is cradling his body. Personality: He's more of a pacifist, but he'll fight when he's needed. he's actually an extremely good fighter. He tries to show off alot, and tries to impress the ladies, which usually ends in him hand cuffed to the bed the next morning with a massive hang-over. Despite his age, he couldn't be more immature. He's strong-willed and is extremely loyal to the crew. And he would throw himself in front of a bullet for every one of his crew members. He's a bit cocky, and tries to get on people's nerves so he can keep himself entertained. He's just like a snotty older brother. Short Biography: Aronson was born in the Alliance and raised to be a soldier. His father was in high authority and bound to the alliance more than most know. Max was taught how to fight a bit and how to pilot several different types of vessels. One day, Max's father, discovered something that made him want to leave. So he sent Max and his family away. He sent him to a planet outside the Alliance's influence and they never heard from him again. Time passed, and Max grew older, perfecting his hand-to-hand combat and piloting skills. While Max was out of town, practicing his sharpshooting one day when he was 18, his town was attacked. When Max returned, no one was left. Everyone had been killed or was missing. Max couldn't find his mother or sister anywhere and he didn't know weather to assume the Alliance or the Reavers had done it. Max searched the galaxy, hi-jacking one vessel after another when his old one ran out of gas until he was caught trying to steal a government ship. He went to jail for a few years, and when he got out, he decided that his mother and sister were dead and he moved to a small out-of-the-way location where he drowned his sorrows in booze and women until he met Captain Alex Jacobs. As it turns out, Jacobs was piloting his ship by himself and was looking for a talented, full-time pilot. Max begged Alex to allow him to join and when he showed him his piloting skills, he was instantly added as a member of the crew. Weapons: He genearlly doesn't use weapons seeing as he's the pilot, but he has your standard projectile weapon. When needed he can use the ship as a weapon. Specialty: Piloting. He can pilot nearly every type of vessel, and his skills are nearly unmatched. He's also good at hot-wiring vessels to hi-jack. Excellent Hand-to-hand combat, and he's not a bad marksmen either. Notes: Nope, but I think this is a great RP. Love Firefly and Serenity!

England, The Brotherhood of the Wolf HQ 12:10 am The quiet chattering of the brotherhood members started quiet and progressed into an uproar. It was so loud, that Haruki was sure the fowl tempered taxi driver, who he had passed on the way to HQ, could hear it. He ran over all of his possible attack points and then he quietly said, "Makes Sense." All went quiet, but the anger and tension didn't leave the room. Despite that Haruki had said it to himslef, it seemed as though the entire brotherhood had heard him. They began asking what the hell he was talking about. They were cursing at him, enraged by his ignorance. Haruki was overwhelmed and just as they heard his quiet statement before, they refused to listen to his defense no matter how loud he made it. They were accusing him of being a spy, a traitor, a murderer and Haruki didn't know what to do. "Quiet!" Taima yelled. The Brotherhood stopped what they were doing, looked at brother Taima and saw the ferocity in his eyes and they knew they had over-done it. "Brother Shimozato is the only one who's been to the site of the second attack. He obviously knows more about the situation than we do. I think we owe it to our brother to come up here and explain." Taima said this calmy, looking into each member's eyes. And then he looked at Haruki and signaled for him to come up to the front. Haruki still soaked from the rain, dropped his backpack to the floor next to his suitcases, not having time to drop them off at Brother Effrom's house. He walked up to the front, awkwardly because he wasn't very good at public speaking. However, he realized that this was something that had to be done. "Hello," he said feeble-voiced and he could tell that many of the members hadn't heard him. He didn't want to continue, but a pat on the back from Taima gave him reassurance. "My name is Haruki Shimozato," He said much louder, all eyes on him. "I am from Japan, and on my way here, I stopped in Berlin Germany to investigate a possible attack by the beast. I have been researching possible movements for quite some time and I had it pinned down to three attack points. One was here at HQ, but now I see that it's too early to track where the beast is headed for. As you know, it didn't even come close to England and simply walked right passed us towards France. "At the attack site, just outside Berlin, a small farm house had been decimated. The entire family living within had been killed. The closest resident lived about 5 miles away and said that other than the fire from the barn, and the screaming of the family, she didn't see or hear anything. By the time she had gotten to the site, the family was dead and the farm was burned to nothing." Haruki paused to look around, everyone seemed interested in what he was saying, but confused at the same time. He continued, rushing to make his point. "It makes sense now that the beast attacked that farm. The same reason why he attacked the Louvre. It's after objects... Which ones I can't say, but while I was talking to the police they said a safe that was inside the house had been broken into and something was missing. The neighbor said that it was a small golden pocket watch. She said the family had been boasting about some priceless watch for years and how it had been handed down from generation to generation for ages. The only thing I can say for sure is that we now know that the beast has a pattern. It's after certain artifacts... And I think this only complicates matters because we can never tell if the object is known throughout the world, such as the Mona Lisa, or if it's only known by a few, such as the pocket watch in Berlin." The murmering continued again, and Brother Taima calmed them with his words. The meeting must have lasted a couple of hours and afterwards, brother Effrom took Haruki to his house in London where he fell asleep on the couch instantly.
