going back to the first post, it's right. I don't like to be a hypocrite and use "lol" , the only time i use it is... well not really ever. At first when i was reading this, I was laughing all the way through, because I thought it was *cough*2007*cough*2008digitialboy and just kept on thinking back to a quote of, "nothing can beat 2008db he mast... so much that by the end of the year every kitten will be dead" but then read through it a second time and then realizing you should have helped her when she kept on going back to that guy, and also realized it wasn't 08db, and stopped laughing. instead of her going back to this guy over and over again you should have helped her, or that's my opinion, I tried once, but she's way outta my reach, so it was just more of a talk of me talking a little chuckle from her, some more crying from her, and someone else to talk to her, but since she goes to a different school, no problem anymore. I guess the only other thing that i can say is an example, what happens when you take painkillers? it delays the pain so it hurts when you get off the medicine, but slowly Just think of House.

who is it? 2008digitialboy why is he nifty? wel I think he is nifty because of how much he contributes to OB, and it does seem like people give him a lot of crap, and he just takes it. Another reason, he's really cool can you say you've met a cooler guy, (well maybe) but on OB he is the guy me and my friends talk about often, not in the i want to punch him so hard kind of way but the, he's kinda creepy in the enjoys "small anime girls" way. so i think *cough*2007digitialboy*cough* 2008digitialboy would be a great choice.

not to sound like I made a big mistake but i did get stuck in a hole on that one. yes i know I should try it before i bash it and i'm about two weeks or so away from that chance, once we finish drumline marching and perform it all the way through. I did say other than that it was pretty good. and if you use the rock band guitar for guitar hero you can finally play on expert mode. and yes i have heard it's a lot of fun wih 3-4 people, but i heard "it's kind of boring in just one player" just quoting not trying to bash it. but once i do try it i'll tell ya

Yes i've heard of rock band.I've also heard it kinda sucks, but only in some parts. take the guitaring, i heard that it lacks, and is way behind guitar hero. now as for comparing the rest of rock band to guitar hero, it's gonna be like comparing the harry potter books to their counterpart movies, yes some of the movies were good but they weren't as good as the books. I've also heard thar the vocals stink because you can't change octaves you have to sing it how it is, which is particularly hard for me since i'm a tenor/bass. So unlike karaoke revolution you can't switch octaves. Never heard anything bad about the drumming, but i'm sure i will eventually, my problem with the drums is, they are only toms and a bass, and toms are only fun with quints or quads when you are marching or in drumline, or atleast that's my postion. Other than that i've heard that it's a pretty good game. But i just think it's a bunch of hype.

the point was they were great back then, and maybe if we at OB weren't older or more childish ( o god answer my prayers) then they wouldn't be so bad. and yes i know the original JAPANESE versions are better, but in america they're childish and panache is right they are aimed for more so 10 year olds and around there and unless your watching adult swim (which still has censored one piece) you don't get to watch the better less censored anime till about 11 o'clock. and i am an honors student who doesn't finish till then, and teachers get mad when you sleep in class. so i can't do that. I know that I might not be the greatest go to cosplay conven and to the end of the earth to get anime fan. the anime here is aimed for 10 year olds and watered down.

[/FONT][/COLOR][/QUOTE] i have to agree with him on this one, i know this is a deal about censorship and all, but people in general have gone to scool and only in advanced mathematics does 2+2 =5 if christians don't like the movie because it's anti-christian with trying to kill god, why don't they just ban tales of symphonia while they're at it because in that game there are angels and a god and playing as the main characters you are trying to kill so called "god". but as for censorship the fcc got created to catch all of the crap that people say (Freekin Crap Catchers) so when people want to complain because america is not japanese enough, and american parents don't watch the cartoons their kids do they complain when kids show violence. that's why american cartoons are watered down (sounds like another thread on OB)but back to the point only in tv does censorship exist,(I think) take one piece as an example in america they don't show a full indented fist in belamy's face,maybe because they figure american parents aren't as responsible as japanese parents(not trying to diss, my parents were te same way) i think stuff, such as cartoons in america need to be censored or regulated to the standards of the F.C.C. so they don't catch more crap from parents.

[/FONT][/QUOTE] i didn't mean to say everything that 4kids touches dies, because look at what kirby did for a while, but then foxbox turned into 4kids, and got programmed with winx club then got gay, my point is i'm not trying to bash 4 kids but peacemaker kurogane, never heard of it before but that was before foxbox or whatever turned into 4kids, i think everything went downhill and turned into a heap of crap from there and american "anime" has turned a bit childish in my opinion, and little 8 year old girls are taking over the world.

Well the title is pretty self explanatory. when me and ace were at the movie theatre today, we were talking about bipolar video game characters and how funny they are. my example: mimi miney from phoenix wright 2 why she's funny, shes changes so quickly once you finnaly start to reveal the truth but then after that she gains a whole nother personality, i think she might be schizophrenic.

I don't know if you could call american "anime" anime. if you're talking about cartoons like avatar, not an anime. but if your talking one peice/dbz/pokemon/ all the other anime's that got ruined by 4 kids ar by america. i think you could consider them watered down. take when luffy was freeing zolo for example. he returned the "water pistol" fire back to them. and all these kids that are watching it are thinking. "o anybody could do that i don't even need to be rubber to resist water". then 4kids says "they're water "pistols" key factor in there, because pistols kill. so yes i do think "american anime" has been watered down

I've been reading and reading on this topic for about 10 minutes now. I think i've realized one thing. If you find someone exactly like you you'll want to change it, am I right? I'm sure you've all watched plenty of t.v and movies and how if 2 girls are wearing the same thing they'll both try to change it or atleast one will, I know i'll sound weird for saying this but what about freaky friday, when the main character comes to school and finds her arch enemy (you could say) and then changes her shirt so that it's inside out. then later that same day she see's her crush and doesn't want him to look, maybe because she was out of social norm. then that same day (again) he comes up to her later and says that what she did was pretty cool. this leads me to my question, do we find people out of our social norm attractive? or was it because she was thinking of something new and wearing her shirt inside out? second example. if you look at any chatroom, i'm sure you would find some kind of smiley face or leet or cliche heart like

well this year was great for me. -first of all i became more of a social butterfly -second i got 300 dollars for christmas that i get to do whatever i want with. - ace still hasn't got his present that i got him for him getting me nachoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo libre - lots of fun this year except it didn't feal like christmas at my house this year and i still have't had my christmas party looking forward to that.

most of my games i haven't finished mainly boktai 2 and luminous arc both great games just haven't taken the time to finsh them final fantasy 8- got kind of boring in the middle so just stopped tales of phantasia- great game just got kind of bored of it alot of other games that i can't seem to remember but they're all great.
