After watching the series I didn't understand what all the excitement was about. What was so special about these girls that they got to wear the Hard Suits!? Quite frankly, they all seemed quite normal and dull. I ( in my own humble opinion) think they shoudn't have waited till the end to show the ability for the HS to transform or to develop just a momentary personal connection between the girls and the HSs'. :animedepr

I finished watching samurai 7 not too long ago and man!! was it amazing. It's just so smooth, eveything from the CGI to the way they move when they are in a fight, especially Kyuzo. That whole dark, brooding look really works.....not that it's an extremely original character type, but then again, if it works it works. Anyway, just wanted to say that it really was awesome. :smoke:

For me, it would depend on the quality of the translation. If the dubbed translation is more accurate than the subbed, then I'd prefer the dubbed, and vice versa. I want to watch and understand anime the way the creators intended.( If I could understand Japanese it would've awesome) I'm sure we all have the problem where sometimes the subs don't make any sense and we might feel that the dubbed versions may have lost some of the emotion that there was in the original. P.S who doesn't just love the way Demon Eyes Kyo says:"MIMYU JIMPURYU SATJUKEN" right before his enemy is destroyed, from Samurai Deeper Kyo. Now who would want to dub that!!? ;)

I watched a couple of eps. and the one I found especially hilarious was the one where he raced the girl who was inlove with her motorbike. Golden Boy is great rec. Thanks for bringing it up! :D

I haven't watched Naruto yet. Is it anything like Flame of Recca? 'cause I loved Flame of Recca. If it is I'll make more of an effort to start watching it! :animesmil

If you you want to watch someting light-hearted and funny you could try Fullmetal Panic: Fumoffu(only about 13 eps) and you should definately give Fullmetal Panic( the first series) a try, alot of cool action but the comedic character interactions will leave you in stiches.

Don't want to be too forward (seeing that I am the new kid in school), but if you wanted to take a quick break from mecha, maybe you should try Samurai Deeper Kyo. Its got some great characters and fantastic action. Its only 25 or 26 eps and the animation is great. Scryed is also really good!!!(24 eps) The storyline seems real simple but will definately keep you entertained and the action will have you hooked! (just a thought)
