Yay candy... that's what you said till you got the size of a house, all your teeth fell out, and you died from having 6 kinds of cancer and AIDS. How you got the AIDS is still a mystery, despite numerous autopsies. I wish I wish I was a fish.

Presto! You can turn into animals! But because you have this power, you like to experiment with animal transformations. It just so happens that the minute you turn into a duck you are blindsided by a shotgun shell and die. Lucky for you, the guy whi hunted you was with Dick Cheney, so he got his in the end. I wish I was sexy XD

You are invincible, but everyone hates you for no real reason. You live a lonely life and cry yourself to sleep every night. Your landloard is jealous of your poowers and evicts you. At least you can't get mugged, though, cuz your invincible, but no one wants to mug you cuz they hate you so much. I wish I had the power to control minds.

"You are going to suffer" Because everyone is going to go through unbearably horrible times at some point.

Martha Stuart is now a zombie running for president. Naturally she wins in a landslide vote... and now we have Martha Stuart as a zombie for president!!!! Naturally, she eats the brains of all the cabinet members and slowly chews through congress. America finally becomes the great country our forefathers invisioned. I wish I lived in Japan

You are now cool. But cool people are emo kids as well, and you have become what you so despise! Now you cut your wrists... I wish I could write a novel

'Everyone cries. Some cry harder than others.' I just thought of that. 'You know you love something when it makes you happy and it makes you cry' That may not apply to some, but for me, only one person makes me happy, and makes me cry.

You see that girl in my sig? On my perfect day me and her would meet... we would go on a date and afterwards we'd lie on a surface facing the skies and just talk...

I think bassists get plenty of attention if they're actually good. For example, Flea, from Red Hot Chili Peppers. He is a highly renowned bassist and deserving cuz he does a lot of RHCPs music. Take a look at Primus, Geddy Lee (Rush), Mike Durnt (Green Day), all famous bassist because they do a lot of the music. In most bands, while the bass and the drum provide the foundation of the music, the guitar is what people are really paying attention to. Bassists are only really noticed when they overshadow the guitar. Drummers I think are ignored even more. Other than Neil Pert (Rush), drummers aren't really noticed as being great. I mean... we've got Guitarist magazine and Bass magazine, but there is no drummer magazine...

Complicated, Most Complicated. Being as how I grew up with two brothers and until like a year ago was uber-terrified of girls, I have a hard time with them. I now tend to make easier friends with girls, cuz I'm more... on their plane of existence then I am with guys. Habitually, I am constantly complementary of a girl's every feature (which I'm sure I get from my dad since he's like that with my mom, but I'm like that to all my friends). As of yet I haven't been around this area long enough to make any real good friends with girld (in the place I last lived there was a... certain circumstance of prevention). Yes, I think girls with hot bodies are hot. My cridentials for what makes a girl hot are very low, which I guess makes me a perv >_

You got all the Hawk Nelson CDs but they are in terrible condition and you can't even play them. I wish for 10 more wishes.

You can now fly. Unfortuanetally you were sucked into an airplane turbine and grinded to bits. Ouch. I wish I could play guitar like a pro.

Ska is now back in fashion. But now it's all you hear, and there are very many sucky bands who are becoming famous and SKA is ruined. I wish I had 1 million dollars

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium - I wasn't really paying much attention the first time I listened to it, but the songs I've re-listened to were all pretty cool. It only bugs me that it's very lyrical so you gotta pay full attention to it to enjoy it.

I just thought of this one, it's a simpler way of saying my meaning of life. 'Live for who you'd die for"
I find it funny how the creator of this thread stated we only select 'one' song...I need not make any further statements on this subject.[/SIZE']
... and I have another. I don't know why whenever I think of music, I forget about all the great anime music, but I have to include Rain from the Cowboy Bebop album. It's soft, relaxing, and sung beautifully. Mostly, the music is just some repeating organs, but there's also a rather large and pretty sweet guitar solo.
Well I wish I was a wolf, but could make myself look like a human, like on [U]Wolf's Rain[/U'].WOLVES RULE NO MATTER WHAT THE REST OF YOU ALL SAY!!!!!!!!!
BAM! You're a wolf! Unfortuanetally, you have rabees, and they had to put you down. I wish I lived in Indianapollis.

What CD can you just not wait for it to come out? I have a few on my waiting list... The new The Mars Volta CD for one. Not much is known, and it is still untitled, but it is supposedly finished. The biggest thing though is that the guitarist from Red Hot Chili Peppers is playing all the guitars on it!!! Also, The Mars Volta is planning to release a remix CD of Frances The Mute, my favorite CD ever. Anything new coming from Linkin Park would also be very welcome.
I've just made it to chapter 96 not much more to go. :D I do agree with tical the chapter does a kind of LOTR thing . I'm going to read holy blood, holy grail next. while reading i've done some background info and most of Mr.Brown mentions are true. I think it's so contreversal because there's a fine line beetween fact and fiction, like this for example: http://gim.gupshup.org/gal/H/da-vinci-last-supper-copy19605_5815974.JPG
In that pic, if you drew on it, you should also include the V and the M mentioned in the book.

Orochisnake is increadibly smart. He's such a genius he managed to put this thread exactly in the forum it belongs. -
As the title suggests, I wanna hear about your favorite bassline in a song. Mine has to be the one in Cassandra Geminni by The Mars Volta - at certain points throughout the 32 minute behemoth, this bassline comes fading in and out which is really cool sounding and easy to get stuck in your head. It's one of the most recognizably cool basslines I have ever heard. Also, of course there's Longview by Green Day - The whole song, other than the chorus is musically comprised of the low tone, stretched out kinda slow bassline, and it's probably one of the most famous basslines there is.

There is one thing that bugs me about The Davinci Code. I think there is a bit too much susoense. I mean that at the end of jus about every chapter involving Langdon and Sophie, it ends with a 'they saw something they couldn't believe' or something along those lines, then it'll cut to a Silas scene or a Fache scene. This buggs me because all the Silas scenes in the first half of the book, collectively, add up to like 5 minutes worth of activity. Those scenes seem like they were just thrown in to prolong the finding out whan Langdon saw, and it gets to be annoying IMO.
No, it's just stupid. It's not disturbing. It's not creepy. It doesn't send shills up my spine. It doesn't make me cringe. And show me where someone stabbed a random person in the grocery store and I'll show you pictures of what evil really is, because I guarantee you 99% of the people in this thread have no idea what they're talking about. That much is clear by how they're trying to pass off knocking down a bird's nest or lunch line arrogance as evil. You want to talk about truly evil stuff? Nightmare VC's post is at least getting there, though I tend to associate "evil" with a more mature, responsible, methodical thought process, whereas Nightmare's stuff sounded more like just worse and more brutal versions of the lame anecdotes I'm seeing here. True evil is not beating a cat senseless. True evil is not wanting to beat the living daylights out of another human being. True evil is not letting a pitbull in a house to ravage an older dog. True evil...is similar to a perfected social manipulation. The greatest threat to society is never the physically violent individual; it's always the individual that can convince others of just about anything. That's why I don't think physical violence proves anything regarding who is evil or not. It's nothing more than genetics giving one a supposed superiority. Because consider it realistically: You can break the body, but it usually mends itself. You break the mind, however...it usually never mends itself.
Y'know, origionally I thought to say something along those lines coming in here, but really, what's the point? This thread is 'the evil things you have done' therefor, unless you answer that statement with your own evil anecdote, you are off-topic. And so am I right now >_>

What if you formed a specific council to shell out the titles each 3 months? Just find like 5 members/mods who have the spare time to handle something like this, and let them do the honors. Then, they could give the results to a mod (or if theres a mod in the group, he would use the results and that mod could simple apply the titles to the winners. You could call the group "The Coalition of the Willing" XD

I'm on page 254 and I think it's bloody awesome! Now, on the other hand, I've been tricked by books before (I'm looking at you, The Celestine ********) and I refuse to bellieve anything I read until I see heavy substantial proof. But still, the idea of
Jesus having a bloodline
is just amazing!
