1. I am freaking scared out of my mind of those three words. As soon as I here them my mind is juggling "Do they mean it?" "Are they just being funny? Sarcastic?" "Should I love them too?" And before I know it theres a snowball effect. First I hear it, then I can't get it out of my mind, and before I know it, I realise that all I've been thinking about is that person who said those words to me, and I had love meant someone who your always thinking about, who is all you care about, who is constant on your mind, and next thing I know, Im in love with them, too. It has never ended well. And so I have become terrified of those three words, when I hear them I just have to dismiss them and forget about them. If I fall in love with someone of my own bidding, then I can share those words.
2. Wow... I almost cried at the end of that. This one touched me deeply, and reminds me of some things that have happened with me in my past. Truly, if one feels this way about someone else, they could never love anyone else that way and... well, Ill leave it at that. I thought this was great and I liked that you didn't try to use big words or extravegant images, but instead spoke from your heart.
3. Y'know, reading all of you guys' poems makes me feel I need to improve, as yours are supreme. The last three lines, I thought, were simply brilliant and extremely well thought out. Wiser words are scarsely heard. I have to agree with Goddess that a certian word was used a lot in stanzas three and four which felt a bit unnatural in the fact that it was only repetitively used in those stanzas.
4. Holy. Freaking. Crap. That was, EASILY, my favorite poem ever. EVER. My god, if that were a song I'd listen to it forever. Hold on, let me find some of those lines that were sickeningly vibrant... "She comes to you, bathing in a pool of moonlight, And tells you her choice. It could be harmful? It could be lethal? But it is her will? And it is your love, that stays your hand. Tainted passion, that restrains you from caring. Time and lust makes eternity sweet. But trees must fall? And mountains must crumble? And seasons must fade? And flowers must die. She is limp in your arms, Sweet to the last savoring minute. Apathy is her reaper, and you know that it was love, That could have saved her, But had finally killed her." These lines alone are better than most anything I've read before. "The word seeths at your reproach. The masses chant in hateful harmony. Misery. Misery. Misery. Misery. They pray for your death. And you join them. " I could HEAR the chanting. Wonderful, I love it Please, tell me you have more!!!
5. That was simply b-e-a-utiful, and I love it! Great sense of imagery, perfectly crafted similies and metaphors and just an all around good piece. Simply brilliant.
6. Well, the horrible spelling and the last line not rhyming were turnoffs, but other han that it wasn't bad. Id be interested in seeing more of your work, if you have any.
7. Nono, my moms a vegetarian. I love this one! Gavin's so dumb sometimes, I swear. "Gavin, that's acid"
8. My opinions lie in the post made by DeadSeraphim. Now, Im not going to lie. I have written a pornographic fanfiction for a video game. It has gotten over 12000 hits and reviews from men and women, none of which were bad. I have written romance and action strories for the same game, none of which have reached anything close to that popularity, despite some being better. I personally look at porn sometimes, just as any other teenage person does. If this makes me a bad person, or I offend you, I apologize from the deeoest parts of my heart, and if you want me to stop, I will, I'm just stating these things in hopes of enlightening some... stuff. You can complain all you want, porn will never stop being made/shown.
9. orange - outlandish, crazy, wild gray - placid, boring, uneventful
10. After the ball dropped my bros, my friend and I ran upstairs, went onto the balcony, turned the stereo way up, popped in the Iron Maiden CD and sang Run To The Hills off the balcony.
11. My god, I can't believe no one has said Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo, I mean :animenose come on now! don't lie! XD anyway I'd like to be in Chobits. Not as a regular person of persocom, but rather I'd like to be one of the Chobits. And I'd want someone like Hideki teaching me.
12. Well, I don't identify with any anime charachters, but there is one manga charachter (well, technically it isnt manga since its American but it's considered "American manga") I identify well with Piro from Megatokyo. Both of us are heavy gamers and anime nerds who are both loser fanboys with emotional issues. :animesigh Tis the life of a fanboy.
13. Ikillion that IS what you've been eating for the past years. Nice work DW, my mom would love that one.
14. See, writing I think is a good idea, but I stopped doing that because I'm the only one who reads it in the end. I've written 4 complete poetry books and absolutely no one has read them. I try to show them to my friends or post them here, but no one is ever interested. That's why I started posting my opinion of every single piece that enters the Anthology... so that everyone at least has one person who reads their stuff.
15.
What I do is I take one of those plastic pens from BiC, you know, the clear-cased ones that are in a hexagon or octagon shape, and I take it, pit it between the row of teeth on the right side, and wiggle it up and down. It makes a really cool *clack-click-clack* sound. It keeps me occupied. Another thing that I do is that I take the pen, and i put it either between my forefinger and middle finger, or between my middle finger and ring finger, so that the ball-point of the pen is facing the opposite way that my palm is facing. I wiggle my hand and tap it against my thumb nail. I also wiggle my leg, tap my fingers, etc. And if I'm by myself in my house or in my room, I put on a dancey synthpop song and just stand there, feet apart, and wiggle my hips from side to side slowly, while bobbing my head and sometimes moving my shoulders, too. I swear, it's not dancing. It's "I want to dance but I would rather just wiggle and move alot to get the hyperness and boredom out of me." It's fun when you're bored.
Wow. No offense, but that sounds like the suckiest most monotonous crap I have ever heard. And yet, all of those are things I do... a lot... especially chewing on and wiggling a pen. I could sit there and chew on a pen for hours while thinking... I hate thinking... >_<
16. It's funny to me to see that people do those things when they are bored, but my problem is that I am bored of doing those things. I guess my real question should be "what are you doing when you have something to do?" because then I could do that. Or... something like that :animeswea Anyway, it's sad, but I don't get out much. I spend almost all my time with my two brothers keeping them company. I feel bad for them... we're going through a rough time and neither of them has any friends so I've magically been roped into becoming their entertainer :animesigh I don;t have any friends, myself, so I got no one to hang out with, and I'm not alound to stray far from my house. So... yeah, I'm practically inhaling monotony.
17.
1. Definitely Grenadier. It's already been fully released by Media Blasters. 2. This sounds like Mahou Sensei Negima. It's twenty-six episodes long and is probably licensed by FUNimation, although they haven't confirmed it yet. I can't remember if there's supposed to be a second season or not... 3. That's Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan, an eight episode OVA. ~Dagger~
Oh my god, you got all of them! Now I just have to find a way to get them all T_T this could take years, though at least now I know what they are! Damn, you are good! I need three more names... 1) I've seen a kid of about 14 years of age, medium length brown hair who is apparently obsessed with bread. There are clips of him with like a million different kinds of bread. There was also an old man surfinng on brown water, if that helps. LOTS of bread. 2) There was a girl, long brown hair, short shorts, running through the wasteland with a huge roler behind her which she was pulling with a metal bar. Very strange. 3) School. Battle. There were three kids on bottom holding up a fourth who come charging in scores and have a humoungous battle with magic and everything. There was some CG thrown in.
18. I love this little guy. The pose he strikes and the general way he looks are great. his face is drawn well, the necklace he wears is awesome, and I love that he carries a chicken leg and a pearn necklace. The only thing that bugs me is that the dagger around his ankle seems like it would serve no purpose as it isn't concealed and he already has two, but the greatness of the picture overshadows that.
19. But mt opinion doesn't count, right? :animesmil Oh well, Im giving it anyway since I am sworn to comment on every bit of poetry that appears here! I liked it personally. It didn't give much of a lasting impact due to it's brevity but it was tasteful nonetheless. The last line didn't seem to fit, though.
20. Well, there is one thing I could do, andd that's try to succeed in school, but Im looking for something small to do, yknow, just something to do that is actually fun and I can... um... do. I'm sick and tired of just sitting around playing video games and talking to strangers over the internet, when theres stuff to do. I just dont know where to start.
21. This year began awesome. I was a newbie gamer who had just started finally making an allowance. Over the months I grew into a Game Master knowitall who had an uber collection and everything was going good. In August, that gaming empire began to crumble and as I lost the ability to play video games due to a console crash, I turned to the internet for a hobby. Then, two weeks into September, my family moved. Not only were all my friends gone (which Im used to cuz Ive lived in like 12 houses) but I lost internet for a month. I entirely went insane over that month and nearly killed myself. Hell, I wanted to kill everyone. But then my internet came back so I at least had someone to talk to. Now Im not crazy, just unstable. Thats how my year was.
22. A guy who has formulated a school reputation as "the guy who will eat anything" doesn't have much to be guilty about XD although every once and a while when I'm hugging my Charmander pillow and watching old episodes of Pokemon I think, "Should I be doing this?" but then I forget about it and eat a pencil/coin/whatever is in my pocket.
23. What song/album is your favourite and why My favorite CD has to be either Dookie or Warning. Well, the only other Ive heard is American Idiot and that's cool too but not as much. My favorite song is Basket Case, as it was my favorite song all through childhood. If you think that Green Day has become too mainstream and is now over-rated.. No way! Gigs/ shows you have been to Well, in 1995 Green Day was on tour with Lalapalooza. At that time, my parents were running a clothes booth which traveled with Lalapalooza. I was 4 at the time (my brother was 2) and my dad actually became friends with the band members. He gave them free clothes and stuff and they gave us a free copy of Dookie. The drummer (whos name escapes me) tried to teach me how to skip rocks once. Needless to say, I sucked. That's the earliest memory I have. What you think of the band as a whole Great band, great music.
24. Hair = power? Yes! That means if I am transported to the anime world I will be indestructibke and rain hell upon the lands! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Oh, right, to be on-topic, I think it's just a coincidence. Long hair looks cool and powerful charachters are cool, so its natural they should go together.
25. Mortal Kombat Annihilation - in a word, bad. Johnny Cage dies at the very beginning and afterwards, none of the good guys die. Most of the charachters were utterly annoying. There were a couple good fight scenes, but most were rather short and uninteresting. The CG was terrible. The story was utter crap. I'd still watch it though -__-
