Code Name / Call Sign: The Blue Nomad Gender (If Applicable): Male Location: Born and raised in America, traveled the world, and ended up in Gatorville. Age: 56 Personal Appearance (Images are acceptable): The Bue Nomad stands a mighty 5'8". His hair is white as lightning, and his 3 foot beard is legendary. His skin has been tanned by the many suns under which he has ridden. They say that the last thing the criminals who have been stopped by him saw was the deep blue of his Buddhist monk outfit. He rides the country on a horse said to have been bestowed upon him by Satan himself! Personality/Behavior: The Blue Nomad is a very serious individual (as in overly serious about everything). He is very wise (completely ignorant) and many seek his wisdom on how they should go about things (probably why they screw up so often). Personal History: The Blue Nomad's true name was forgotten long ago, though many (2 people) presume it was Charlie. Charlie was just your average boy, well, to be more precise, your average nerd. He was a comic book junkie when Superman was new and he always aspired to be, himself, a vigilante. And so, Charlie bought a horse on his eighteenth birthday and decided to travel the world. Luckily, his father was a big shot movie director and gave Charlie a massive sum of money. Earning weird looks from everyone he passed, Charlie rode horseback from California to Florida, (almost) stopping many villains on his path, in the most difficult 6 months of his life! He then took a boat to England and rode all the way to the Far East, accomplishing nothing but proving his own bravery (AKA foolishness). Charlie then stopped his journey to train for thirty long years with a group of Buddhist monks and martial artists. It was here that he earned the title "The Blue Nomad. (It was actually a joke, but he took it seriously.) Over those thirty years earned the yellow belt in Taijitsu, Jujitsu, and Karate. Finally he decided that he had learned all that he could ever know and must become a mentor to other up-and-coming superheroes. (The monks threw a party when he left.) When The Blue Nomad returned to America (he got on the wrong boat and ended up in Gatorville instead of California) he found that many things had changed. After much searching, he found a superhero group who had heard of his many exploits (evidentally, there were a few people who thought he had saved them when he was "fighting crime" in America, and one of them had a friend in the patrol). And so, The Blue Nomad became a part of the Hero Patrol. Special Skills or Abilities (If any): The Blue Nomad rides a horse. That's about it. He also gives good (ridiculously terrible) advice. Oh! He also has the ability to eat really hot food. He once drank an entire bottle of Eddy's Brother's Secret Armenian Hot Sauce (insanely powerful)

Art Slackers In Slacks [UPDATED DAILY]
2010DigitalBoy replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Very nice, though 'butt' doesn't have quite the same effect as '***' but the point is still made. I like this one, though seriously, you coukd come up with a better title than 'Harry Who?' -
Writing Dusty DW And The Otaku Kid [PG-13]
2010DigitalBoy replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Oh, you don't need to ask to be put into it. I just select members at random (and in some cases, members that I always use in my stories like Syk3 or Shinmaru). The thing is, I can't always take suggestions of who should be in it since I pretty much have things already planned out. If someone does get thrown in at the last second, it's usually just a part that says "Such-And-Such waves."
*Remembers time when Charles blasted me with a shot gun and I moved to California to becaome an attorney* Good times... This story is amazing, just like the others! I noticed a few jokes you've used before and you've kept your old style but juiced it up, and now it's cowboy-style! The entire conversation at Joko's bar had me laughing aloud, and that means something. "Did you just coo?" brilliant. -
(mature discussion) Your Opinions on Sex Change
2010DigitalBoy replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
Tical, honey, you're 14. You shouldn't be having sex with anyone. Slow down. Honestly. Getting a sex change isn't just a 'quick fix'. You're mainly only having these thoughts because you recently decided that you were bisexual, and you and your boyfriend [of about a week. Sorry, I just find it amusing that you can say you love someone, and a week later hate them] split up. Also, as much as I know you hate hearing this, you are an immature teenage boy going through hormonal changes and having strange thoughts and feelings. And, though I know you hate hearing this as well, you're not anyone super-special, this happens to nearly every goddamn loser on the face of this planet.
Woah, woah, don't drag me into this! I'm not interested in sex change, that would just be weird! And don't make assumptions about me, I don't 'hate' hearing anything, I know I'm an immature teenage boy going through very strange changes and stuff and I know I'm not special in any way, you're makiing me sound like something I'm not here. Look, you don't know me and you evidently don't know much about me, so don't go talking like you do. Also, I know I'm to young for sexual relations and as I've said about 7 million times Im not interested, I was just stating my willingness to do that. Anyway, I just find this to be an interesting topic, and I'd like to hear other's opinions on it, that's all. -
THe initial question in this topic was "can we change the world with a voice or actions and how many will it take" right? Well, I think that a voice can do nothing to change the world, you have to actually do something. A voice fallen on deaf ears merely speaks to itself, (Im coining that one) one must act on what they believe is right. Don't go asking others what you should do, just do what you think is right. You don;t need someone else's mandate to do it, it's all on you. If you wanna change the world, shut your mouth and get to work, quit tallking about it and do it.

Anime If you were stranded on a deserted island....
2010DigitalBoy replied to a topic in Otaku Central
My god, I couldn't stand to be anywhere near Jaken for more than five minutes. Of course, it wouldn't matter what anime charachter I got stuck with because if I hate them I'll just kill and eat them. -
I think that nearly everyone is missing the point of SOAD's lyrics - thus showcasing the problem with the band's leap into the hyper-mainstream. Now don't get me wrong - I think that all of System of a Down's music since Toxicity is some of the most annoying crap I've heard in a long time (Steal This Album is flat out awful), and even such, the first two albums weren't great either (IMO). But people seem to have this strange misconceptions about their message. They don't write random lyrics. Most of lyrics tend to be politically charged, but some deal with other issues. Either way, songs like Cigaro (an allusion to multiple issues, including countries vieing to prove that they're the most powerful via military and financial power) and Chik'n Stu (an attack on the manipulative powers of corporate advertising in our everyday lives) aren't just silly rants. Unfortunately, the casual musically inept yet musically voracious masses fail to look past the celophane-deep surface of the songs. Sorry if I sound rude, but come on. It's not that difficult to figure out.
dude thats, like, exactly what I just said above

Haunting Experiences (and advice)
2010DigitalBoy replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
Stuff like that used to happen to me all the time when I was younger. Not so much anymore. I used to see all kinds of weird things. Like the ceilings would drip blood only I could see, or random hands would just pop up from the sides of my bed. I would close my eyes for about 5 seconds and they would be gone. I heard all different kinds of voices which would just call me by my first name. Now, I very rarely hear an out of place noise, and that's about it. One of my friends tried the whole bloody mary 5 times chant. He got to about 3 when his TV came on from it's own accord and was nothing but static. He never finished the chant or tried it again. One of my other friends heard a story from one of her friends. Her friend was having a sleepover. When they had to go to bed, they went to turn off the glitter lamp in her room. But it wouldn't turn off. Her friends' mom even verified that it was in the off position, but still on. Later they heard footsteps walking around in the hall. They called out to see if it was the mom, but got no reply. The footsteps stopped outside their door...which is the exact time the glitter lamp finally turned off. And this is a link you may all find very interesting about ghost legends...if your computer has sound and can play videos. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/flash/ghosts.html
That is scary as **** and I am going to have a hard time sleeping tonight. I am a hardcore believer in ghosts and that kind of stuff scares the crap outta me. I always get really into this stuff dispite being terrified of it. I've always kind of hopes a ghost would come and have sex with me like in Scary Movie 2 XD I know it sounds stupid, but wouldn't that be cool? -
Well, I have a set of signature weapons that I'm known for using in RPs. BAH - It stands for "Big *** Halberd." This is my primary weapon because, quite frankly, it can do anything. I've used it to shatter dimensions, teleport me anywhere (even to hell), magically remove clothes (my charachter gets it on with just about every charachter in the RP XD), destroy entire villages, and summon my other 9 weapons. Kyo no Ryu - KnR or "Kyo's Dragon" is a 2 foot long sword with a serpent dragon wrapped around it. The weapon can talk also, of course. It's primary function is to drain. It can drain life, power, magic, anything. It's ultimate move is where it sucks up the entire universe at the cost of it's own life (leaving you stranded in some other universe) Leaf Saber - This is a fairly thich though rather short sword made entirely of leaves. It gives it's user impossible speed. It is the weakest of the ten weapons, though, as it can be burned easily. Kamui - Just your average japanese style sword, but 9 feet long! I know, Sephiroth rip off, but it comes in handy! The other 6 have yet to be revealed.
I mostly think it's interesting that there are always people who are telling us that the world is getting worse and going down the toilet. In fact, the opposite is always true, at least in a longterm sense. I remember seeing a funny TV interview of a reverend during the 70's, where he was talking about the moral decay of society and how we only had another decade until the world broke out into complete and utter chaos. Funny how that worked out. I've always thought that instead of predicting the end of the world, we should be thinking about how the world is always improving. Although it's a gradual process, so many things are getting better - education, human rights, political freedoms, etcetera. These things take time and there are deviations along the way, but basically I think the world is always moving in a positive direction. I think there is always a desire for some kind of radical change, especially from young people. And I'm sure there are probably areas where radical change would be really beneficial. But at the same time, I don't think that a realistic view hurts - especially when you look back at history and realize how much things have changed for the better in general. So, sure, there are terrible things out there that need fixing...but I think that will always be the case. Sometimes these things just take time.
Damn, you took what I was going to say, fancied it up, and said it. Anyway, I agree. I don't think there is nearly as much wrong as people say. On the TV and through the news bad things are constantly brought to your attention and no good ever seems to arrive at your door, but how often have you actually witnessed these things occur? I mean, you could read a huge article about every guy who gets killed each day and suddenly it seems like everyone is dying but there are a LOT of people in the world and most of them are fine, upstanding people who just aren't getting any attention. Also, you cannot start a revolution because not enough people are complaing. The number of people who are fine with the state of the world and have no reason to start a revolution are immensely greater than those who are complaining, you just only really hear about the complainers. It is by this philosophy that I have decided not to care about the state of the world because I don't need to and I can't change it. In fact it reminds me, I was playing Fire Emblem Path of Radiance this morning and my group of charachters was heading into a town in a country which had recently been overtaken by its neighboring country. The group was utterly stupified at the placidity of the town. The main charachter was talking to one of the villagers and their conversation went something like this... MC: This town is so calm... why is that? Villager: We know we're being invaded by Daein troops and weve heard of how they killed the nobles and took over but we really don't mind. We figure if we just go on working as usual the Daein army will have no reason to force anything on us. As long as we're still working the person in power can keep living the high life and will have no reason to act on us. MC: But they murdered your king! Aren't you angered by that?! Villager: To us simple townsfolk, the nobles are nothing but faceless rulers high out of reach. If they raised taxes or did something that effected us directly, yeah we'd act up, but we aren't going to go out of our way to change things/ This is how most people think, I believe.

I was wondering what you guys's opinions on sex changes were. I think it's okay for someone to go through with it, whatever, it's their decision. I wouldn't think less of anyone for it, and I'd date (or even have secks with) a girl even if I knew she used to be a guy. So what about you guys? I find this topic very interesting and would like to hear more educated opinions. And for the love of god, no flame wars!!!

What are some songs that relate to your life in a way? I've got like a million of em but just as I was suffering this problem this song happened to come on, andIve never heard it before. ~Falling~ by Staind You in your shell, are you waiting for someone to rescue you from yourself? Don't be disappointed when no one comes. Don't blame me you didn't get it [3x] I already told you, that falling is easy, its getting back up that becomes the problem, becomes theproblem, and if you don't believe that you can find a way out, you become the problem, become the problem. You, all alone, are you waiting for someone to make you whole? Can't you see, aren't you tired of this dysfunctional routine. I already told you, that falling is easy, its getting back up that becomes the problem, becomes the problem and if you believe that you can find a way out, you solve the problem, solve the problem. ____________________________ I got the message but I really wasn't sure what I should make of it for the time being. What about you guys?

Haunting Experiences (and advice)
My gameboy got possessed while I was playing crystal version. All of the sudden all my pokemon turned red and their levels switched to 9 when they were in 50, I put them to battle with 80 levels and they beat them with one attack, it was creppy. My friend was with me and we decided to just play as many crosses and stuff as we could find in the house on top of the gameboy. Up to this day I haven't used it. That is one of the times, there was another time when I was in my room, I was at home with my little brother, I turned on the lights on my room and head to turn the t.v., when I look above the t.v. I see the shadow of a hanged person. I was creeped out, I took my bro and we ran to my dad's job (which was 2 blocks away).
Did you ever use a Gameshark Pro? I had used one of those on my Pokemon Red (I had a level 98 Venusaur, no Rare Candy) and it screwed up sending me to this strance area which was closed in and looked like a garden and I was invisible and couldn't move. It took me forever to figure out that it was because of my Gameshark Pro which, before I peeled the label off, had a warning stating COULD DAMAGE POKEMON GAMES or something like that. I was FURIOS, needless to say. -

OK, as it would turn out, the reason I heard that message is because its the "If youd would like to make a call, please hang up and try again" message. We heard it first because the redial button doesnt work on the new phone and so we were jus waiting for a long time. The time this morning, my mom's employee had hung up and called someone else so by the time I got back to my phone it was playing the message. Still doesnt explain why the hell its so warped O_o -
Twas just the other day I was sick of being a Hug Monster but didn't know what to call myself. But then I started getting into the whole idea of being a nomad and riding horseback across the countryside and crap so I had my name changed to ? Nomad Tical ?

What does December mean to you
2010DigitalBoy replied to Tical's Foxboy's topic in General Discussion
first off.its about crist.not presnts!not everyone gets the same joy as us so called  lucky people .or its not about santa clus. :animesigh that is fake.but all im saying thats not the true meaning of cristmass. :animeangr
No, Christmas is a ca[italist ploy to get people to buy more presents, Christ has been utterly forgotten. People tell themselves it's about Christ but the sad truth is that our heads have been turned away. Does anyone even know why Chistmas is celebrated on December 25th? Jesus was burn in freikin April! When Constantine was ruler he was trying to make all the religions happy so he put all their holidays on one day. His people celebrated the Sun God stuff on December 25 so they moved Christmas to that date. Everyone has been turned away from Jesus and instead worship presents and money. Santa Claus is the portrait of these material things and so it is as though we worship Santa over the lord Christ! Now, I'm not religeous, but pondering it further, who would want to turn our heads from Christ? Satan, maybe? Let's make some comparisons... -Santa is Satan is you just move the 'n' a few spaces -He wears all red -His Workers are little pointy-eared demonic creatures -His sleigh is guided by reindeer which almost resemble goats -He turns us all to Greed and makes us forget Christ So if you still believe this is the celebration of Jesus's birthday, let me ask you -- What did YOU get Jesus for his birthday? -
There's something I've noticed. All young teenagers think they're far more mature than their peers. Even me, sometimes. It that same respect, it takes teenagers until they're older to realize how immature they really are, and be able to admit it. So, who is then, really more mature?
Um..... me? XD no, I was joking with that other post, I am not very mature in any sense except that my room is clean and I care about... some... stuff... _> As for being wise, thats utter bullcrap, I bathe myself in my own nievity.
-
Have you ever had an extra terrestrial or haunting experience? Care to share? Personally, mine started last night. You see, my grandma bought us a fancy new phone for Christmas. Last night we were using it for the first time and we missed the call. So my dad hits redial and it was just playing a tone for a while then he said that he heard some freakish voice. He let me and my mom try, each of us hitting redial, waiting for a minute or so, and then hearing the strange voice. It was no language I've ever heard, it was like someone was talking backwards in another language or something. We jokingly amused that it had been a call from hell or something. Just a few minute ago, now morning, I heard a phone ringing downstairs. What was strange was that the phone next to me, in the computer room, wasn't ringing. In fact, the only ringing phone was the new one. I picked up the one next to me and found it was my mom. "Hey, could you check on my dresser around this skirt and try to find my keychain?" "Um, mom, for some reason only the new phone was ringing" "I'll investigate it later, could you find the keychain?" So I went downstairs, looked around a bit trying to figure out which of the dressers in my parent's room was hers, and finding no skirts or keychains on any of them. So I headed upstair and picked up the phone again. "Erm, what precisely am I looking for?" There was no answer. "Mom?" Then suddenly, and louder than before the freaky freakin voice came on! I panicked and hung up and she never called back. To make things worse, my parentsare not home and my bros are asleep. So, what are your strange experiences?
-
I'm fourteen, though I like to think I am far too wise and mature to be fourteen. Of course, my emotional stability is that of your average teenager... well, more like a teenage girl. (dammit why does that always come out?)
-
4.) because of these lines 7 AM, morning come to take us away little men, big guns pointed at our heads actually to tell the truth this is like one of my top five least favorite SOAD songs. It's too long for it's own good. Also, Avened Sevenfold kicks ***.
