In response to complaints about not enough games, I didn't include tactics games. I'll do a different thread for tactics games. I also didn't put any GBA games for some reason. I only wanted to do six games, and disincluding GBA and tactics, there were only a few other good RPGs. Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga 2 and Fable and KOTOR 2 are the only ones I missed. In fact, I think I'll add on Baten Kaitos, but the others don't really deserve a spot.

Okay, this is it, tell me what you think the best RPG of 2004 was. My vote goes to Tales of Symphonia. While it is true that I've only played a few of these games, this is the one that has what I consider to be the best batttle system of all time. Combining the strategy of an RPG with the frantic button mashing mayhem of an action game. Not to mention theres a freakin ton of crap to do in this game!

My brother used to be a turtle fanatic. He had turtletoys, he had turtle shirts, his favorite Pokemon was Squirtle, and he loved Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. Of course, all that was left was a turtle. Let me tell you, I can't even count the number of turtles my mom has found on the side of the road and brought home.

Im a bit confused about episode 10. [spoiler]Were ALL of those people killed by lil slugger?[/spoiler] and were the stories from episode 9 real? PS: The end of episode 9 was awesome.

MMORPGs can be quite complicated. I suggest you start with Guild Wars. Most of OtakuBoards plays Guild Wars. If you want to get it, though, your computer has to have a decent graphics card. If you buy Guild Wars, it should come with instructions. I also have a question. Okay, I need to know if I can playGuild Wars, but I can't figure out the friggin specs of my computer. There are a few games I know I'm able to play, like Alice and Neverwinter Nights, but i don't know if they're anywhere near Guild Wars.

In one month, Tales of Legendia will hit Japan. It won't be coming here until 2006. Also, Namco has already begun on another Tales of the Abyss. Also, the game that came out after Tales of Symphonia in Japan, called Tales of Rebirth, has a good chance of being released in America.

Yes it is true that there aren't THAT many intro threads, and they aren't THAT hard to delete, but I think we're scaring the new guys away by telling them the very first thing they've done after joining is break the rules. They should at least have the chance to learn what its like to be on OB. They join up, post in the intro thread, and now that people know who they are, they go out and read some posts in a thread, realise how awesome our post quality is, and either go away, or post like we do.

At my last school, there was a small group of nerds I hung out with (they weren't so much hanging out with me) that were all Warhammer obsessed. I wanted (and still kind of do) to get into it, but I don't know where to start. Can anyone tell me how to get started?

For all we know, it could be a Galaga rehash. Anyway, that teaser was frikkin awesome. Quite possibly the best teaser I have ever seen, in fact. I don't own any MGS games, and the only amount of any of them I have played is the demo of MGS 2, but that alone is enough to know that this is a great series (which I will buy all of soon) and I cant wait for MGS4.

Xplay wasn't nesecarily insulting the new Inuyasha game, they were just joking around. I found it quite hilarious. In fat, that preiew has me sold for the game. And no, they definetally didn't like the origional FullMetal Alchemist game, but thats because it sucks. I have confirmed that you ONLY control Ed, though Al is with you. Also, Mustang, Hawkeye, and Armstrong will join you at certain times.

You have questions and I have answers! First of all, the game will directly follow the anime, starting with Cornello, ending with [spoiler]. Anyway, from what I've heard this game actually won't suck. Game informer said that it is much better than the first game, but still not great. RPGamer said that it is a really great game and is worth buying for FMA fans.

I feel weird even judging these pictures. Um... Im going to have to say Helba's is better. Sun's is good, but I don't like how it's spit in half to show two pictures. Helba's has great color, and Tara Reid is hot. I like the white block things in the background.

Magic used to be my favorite game ever... when I was five years old. Me and my mom played it every day and I spent my spare time cultivating decks. But when my little brother was born, my mom never had time to play Magic, so I quit. I always think about getting back into it, but I don't have the time, money, or info for a card game. Once Im done with gaming Ill go for it. I've desperately wanted to play Warhammer 40k for 2 years, but with scarce money and a dangerous addiction to video games, there is no way. Does reading nerd books (Warhammer, Mechwarrior, Halo) count?

Please tell me you've played other Gundam games, because Journey to Jaburo is the worst. I have Federation vs. Zeon, and its pretty good. The controls are SIMILAR to Zone of the Enders, and you can use pretty much every mobile suit available at the time. Not to mention it takes place in the one year war. And what do you mean series that don't deserve it?

24. God of War- A tru;y great action game, though not as goood as everyone says. To be honest, I thought the combat was the worst part of the game. It was the puzzles that kept me going. God of War has SOME OF the craziest puzzles ever. I only had 1 death from combat (during the last major battle) and a few buhmillion from falling of edges.

For those of you who don't know Advanced Wars is a tactics game which uses a grid which you move your units along. The basic Idea is that each person controls their own army. When a match begins, I put up an image of a grid with Each persons base and their factories. We then take turns making moving and fighting with our units. If you've played Advanced Wars you should know exactly what I'm talking about. Of course it will require lots of dedication from the players. Anyone interested?

Full Metal Alchemist is the most depressing anime I have ever seen. I've found myself bawling on the ground several times. Its also pretty humorous and lighthearted.

I do. Its an online game in the .hack universe. It is 75% complete and scheduled to be released in Japan by the end of the year. It will be available for Playstation 2 and PC. You can finda little more information on RPGamer.com.
