While Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy, and Golden Sun are all really great games, but my favorite game of all time is Ratchet and Clank Going Commando. The weapons are amazing, the difficulty is perfect, the platforming is amazing, and it all ties together insanely well. Sure there isn't much story, but its still likeable. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 9.6, he highest score I have ever given a game. I wrote a full review on gamefaqs.com.

God, I wish I could write like that! That was amazing! I loved the part where the scrolls start billowing out the windows. I was able to picture everything that was happening perfectly in my mind. Now I can't help but wonder, if that guy is death, what happened to the old death?

Gaming Cartoony RPGs (I.E. Phantom Brave, Shining Tears etc.)
2010DigitalBoy replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
I wouldn'y conside Tensei a "cartoony" RPG. Anywaym I used to have a PS2 (and I have Dark Cloud) but it recently broke and I got rid of it. Ive been really looking into these cartoony RPGs and I think Phantom Brave, La Pucelle, Shining Tears, and that new one coming soom with the alchemy are all cool looking. I like leveling up, so some of this sounds cool. -

I have never played Shining Tears, Phantom Brave, or Disgaea, but all of these games looks really cool. Ive been wondering, are these games worth my time and money? All of them look practically the same. Is it worth it to get all of them? Also, is it worth it to buy a PS2 just to have these games? -
Gaming Best Battle System , Which RPG had it?
I don't know what you mean by cards widdling down into nothing. If you mean the deck emptying out, I can see how that would annoy some one... but it takes one turn to reshuffle and it's done with. The bosses do this too, so it's really not something that only hurts your side. I enjoy that you have to just waste cards sometimes when you're hoping to get a good one next. It adds a sense of desperation to the battles.
What I meant is that the cards slowly dissapate as you use them, and they become more worthless. Also, I REALLY hate that you have to throw cards into the battle in "desperation". I like knowing that I can win. If Im at level 20 in an RPG in a weak area, I know I can win, while in the same situation in this game, I find myself randomley throwing out cards which makes me feel like any battle can be fatal. -
Gaming Best Battle System , Which RPG had it?

Iori, I would never dismiss a game for anything (except nudity) I don't like BatenKaitos because it is stupid. Your cards widdle down into nothing, you get money for new cards by taking pictures of enemies, and the whole thing is weird to play. Not to mention the horrible story and crappy warped voices. Kingdom Hearts CoM was OK but I dont like how the difficuulty varies throughout the game, and the whole card cancel system always makes my brain hurt because Im trying to look at my cards, their cards, and the battle all at once. Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 is AWESOME. The usage & Mechanics of the system work well, the levels are cool, and everything works perfdctly. This is one of my top five favorite battle systems. I agree with everyone about FF10. I like how it is somewhat like a tactics game in that you really think abput your next move before making it. -
Cloud: FF7 I haven't played much of this because of my broken PS2, but Cloud is definetaly a good swordsman. With a sword that big, how couldn't he be? Auron: FF10 The only FF game Ive played much of. Auron is totally bad, and he can slice through any foe. He is my personal favorite charachter in the game, even if
he is a ghost
Frog: Chrono Trigger Okay, I haven't played much of it, but Frog was a really cool dude. Wasn't his charachter designed by Akira Toryama? Vyse: Skies of Arcadia Those are some of the coolest blades I have ever seen. Vyse soars across the battleground slicng up all the enemies he sees. the guy: Fable the ultimate RPG charachter is you in Fable. You get to get new stuff, make your charachter good or evil, you can learn new techiniques and interact with people in any way you desire. Want charachter development? Star out eveil and work your way to good.

Gaming The hardest game task you've accomplished
2010DigitalBoy replied to Sir Auron's topic in Noosphere
The hardest game of all time has to be Pokemon Channel. It was so freikin hard to find the 5th episode of the Pichu Bros. Not to mention all that money searching. It took me 43 hours to beat this game, and another 20 to get all the extra crap. Brilliant game. Now THAT was an accomplishment. -
Okay, I really need a banner. If you can make one, I'd like a compilation of Ratchet - Samus - and the Master Cheif all on one banner. I'd like it to say "There can be only one. ThatOneOddDude" I dont care about the color of the letters. Also, can you tell me how I actually get it into my signature? Thanks a bunch.

Gaming The hardest game task you've accomplished
2010DigitalBoy replied to Sir Auron's topic in Noosphere
There are lots of times, particularly in Ratchet and Clank, where I have had these situations. Sometimes I get stuck so bad I have to restart the whole game (Final Fantasy X). The biggest one was the final boss in Sly Cooper. If you actually manage to beat this boss, it only takes 2 minutes tops, but I ended up playing for around 30 minutes trying to beat the friggin guy. I got so frustrated I thought I would explode. -
Anime Hello, I'm new here... May I ask something?
2010DigitalBoy replied to a topic in Otaku Central
Hello there Reika. Welcome to OtakuBoards. Im not going to play mod, but unless we turn this thread into a discussion, it will be closed. I am personally a big fan of Samurai Deeper Kyo. The overall feel of the series is really cool, and the charachters are cool. A good website is www.samuraideeperkyo.us -
When I die, my tombstone is going to say the quote I used most. "Gaping Anus" is what it would be if I died today. On a more serious note, I often find myself looking back on a quote I just laid out with a "GOD I am AWESOME!" But none really come to mind. Some of the songs I wrote were really good, but those aren't exactly quotes. I do enjoy this conversation from I story of mine. "we have to put our heads together" "won't that hurt?"

THE SCREEN SAVERS DOES NOT EXIST!!!! How many times do I have to say it? It was REPLACED by Attack of the Show, which is much cooler. Also, there is another show that people are forgetting about. Sweat, the sports show. Personally, I don't care for it. Also, I forgot to mention that I think Icons is a really cool show and helps me organize my knowledge of select series. Sometimes, though, they forget to mention certain games. In the Final Fantasy episode they didn't mention the tactics games, and they could have at least brought up the buhmilion FF spin-offs square has done. ALSO, their coming out with a new show thats all about cars and babes. Snore. Oh, and Galgoog Pilot, what reality show are you tlking about?

Gaming Best Battle System , Which RPG had it?
2010DigitalBoy replied to Sir Auron's topic in Noosphere
Skies of Arcadia had a great battle system. They (Sega) made it really realistic by having your charachters attack the enemies when its not their turn and move around the battle area. The random battles are also well spread apart. I would also like to give an honorary mention to Baten Kaitos for having quite possibly the worst battle system ever. -
Screen Savers was always lame. Its gone now, though, and Attack of the Show is here, which is practically the same, except I like it! There are a few shows you guys didn't mention Cheat: this how has gotten much better without Corey as the host (though i liked him more) The used to do cheat codes, but they were practically useless. Now they do strtegies, which is cool, because its much easier to know what to do when you see it than when you read the guide. Anime Unleashed: Some of the shows they play on here, and it saves me from buying the DVDs. Unscrewed with Martin Seargent: CRAP. I am SO glad they got rid of this. Arena: I love this show. I get to see how the real pros play, and it helps tteach me what to do. As for the other shows XPlay: God, I love these shows! Even if the actual reviews totally suck, I just watch the show to get a good laugh. Electric Playground: I dont really like this show, because no one ever seems to know what the freak the're talking about. Judgement Day: While I love the fact that they give their own opinions on games, they need a bigger variety of reviewers. Cinematech: It depends on the episode... Filter: This show sucks. Period. I have nothing more to say. Oh, and I think that the top twn lists are rigged. G4TV: I really like this show because the girls are really funny and I like thaat they talk to real people, and the fact that those girls actually play video games is cool.

Last nights episode had what I would consider to be one of the coolest battle scenes I've ever seen in anime. I must say, watching FullMetal is sometimes like playing a survival horror game. I am simply shocked at what the botcher was telling Al. I wonder what it is that Ed did to him...

Anime The Official Otaku Boards Top 50 Anime Series: Voting Thread
2010DigitalBoy replied to EVA Unit 100's topic in Otaku Central
WOW, thats a lot of Nastalgia. I'll only do series in which I have seen the whole thing, which meens no FullMetal or Samurai Deeper Kyo or Neon Genesis. 1. Trigun: there are plenty other animes that have better stories, better action, better charachters, and better animation, but Trigun is the only anime I have ever seen where there is not a single episode I don't like. 2. Samurai X: Brilliant, bloody, and all around cool. Learning about Kenshin's childhood brings me great joy, and the fight scenes are simply stunning. The movie was pretty cool as well. The one that took place after Rurouni Kenshin, though, was quite dissapointing. 3. Cowboy Bebop: Come on, its a classic! What other show is this hip? Some episodes of this show really blew me away and the music is AMAZING. 4. FLCL: I think the main reason I really like this one is because I found a site that actually deeply explained everything that happened, allowing me to understand just what is going on. 5. King of Bandits Jing: This would be higher up if it weren't for the fact that what exactly is gong on is never explained. While I love the humor, sense of adventure, and all-around creativity, I didn't like the lack of closure. 6. Rurouni Kenshin: What can I say, I love the charchters and I'm a sucker for samurai battles. 7. Inuyasha: Demons, demons, and demons. I don't know why, but I have always loved this sshow, though it was better before they started all the Naraku crap. 8. .hack//SIGN The charachters are lovable and the story is unbeleivable. I only wish there was a little more combat. One episode can seem to last a million years. 9. Yu Yu Hakusho: Sure, it started to pretty much suck after the Dark Tournament, but I can't help but love this show. I think the reason I like it so much is because it offers the intense action that Dragon Ball Z tried to get, but it didn't have all that dragged out BS, and the charachters don't constantly die. 10. Pokemon (first season): I could still sit through the whole first season of this show and not get bored. Sure the new episodes suck, but back then every episode was a new, fun adventure. WOW, UBER NOSTALGIA -
I consider myself antisexual. I don't try to get dates, but I don't make a big deal about it. Nobody has ever asked me out (at least not since 5th grade) and I have never asked anyone out. Maybe it's because people consider me childish. I admit that I act very young in the fact that I hang out and get along with people mostly 2 years younger than me. I have plenty of friends my age, though, but all of them are either really weird, or find my quirkiness neccessary to their existence. I think girls talk good and bad about me behind my back, and I know that 70 percent of all the guys that know my name treat me like a leper. I just don't think boyfriends and girlfriends are neccessary. I have friends that are boys and friends that are girls, but all of them are just friends. Does this cause akward moments? Well, because nobody seems to understand this, everyone calls me "gay" and things like that, but while I have no disrespect for gay people, I am not gay. ANTISEXUAL.

Global warming? More like cooling...
2010DigitalBoy replied to DBZgirl88's topic in General Discussion
Here in Virginia you can never tell WHAT the weather's going to be like. We had one of our hottest days in February, only 3 days before it snowed. We Got snow the first day of march, but the next day it was all sunny and fairly warm. Only 2 days later was a heavy rainstorm. The only time you're guaranteed warmth here is in the summer, and by then there will be so my bugs you'll be afraid to go outside! -
There are many games I find addicting. I agree that Pokemon and Animal Crossing are both very addicting. For me, the most addicting game ever is Phantasy Star Online episode 1&2. I have had some pretty long marathons playing 4 player on that game, only to wake up the next day and have another marathon! Its kind of like Gauntlet in how you basically just run around and use the same few attacks to kill waves of enemies.

OOC: I changed his appearance and bio. he is now complete Name: Aria Iro Age: 24 Gender: Male Appearance: http://www.tri-ace.com/product/so3/char/fate.gif. 6'2" Take this guy and turn all the blue into green and all the white into blue. Get rid of the sword as well. The gloves should be red. On his left arm is a blue tatoo of a cross. He also has a large cross tatoo on his chest. The brown gauntlet at the top of his right arm conceals a hideous mutation. He has a long scar that streaches all the way up his right leg. Weapons: Aria boasts a small laser stungun that looks like a magnum, but its blue and has a green cross embedded on the top. He also has a real magnum, but has no idea how to use it properly, though he has recently been training. Specimen oddity: In times of danger, a third and fourth eye appear on his forehead which are able to lock on to a target, allowing him to aim perfectly. Unfortuanately, he cannot control who he locks on to, though he will not open his third and fourth eye unless his life is being threatened. Information: Aria was born in the slums of Durge, and grew up an only child. Because he was a son of poor parents, he never had any toys as a child, so he trained himself to be a tough kid. One day, a man was being chased down by the government and decided to hide in Aria's house. The man stayed with then for a week and told Aria stories of how the government is corrupt. In order to keep the family out of troublle, he decided to leave, and left Aria with a laser stungun with a cross embedded in its top. Only 2 weeks after the man left, Aria found him dead in an alleyway. He decided to dedicate his life to taking down the government. He spent years practicing to use the stungun. When he was 18, he decided he wanted to singlehandedly take down the government. He was caught breaking into a government facility and was captured. The government officials operated on him, trying to create the perfect marksman. Unfortuanately, he lost all control of himself and began to mutate. The project was ended before the mutations branched beyond his arm. After his release, Aria immediately traveled back to his home, only to find that it had burned to the ground. He quickly dug through the rubble trying to find the bodies, but there were none. Someone nearby told him that the government officials had come and laid waste to the house 2 years ago. Aria spent the next four years traveling. He tried to leave Durge, but was chased down by the government. Along his travels he picked up some tatoos and battle scars. Just as he had lost all hope, he heard about Rook Vanguard. As soon as he heard about Rook Vanguard, he immediately sought them out. When he met the leader of Fook Vanguard, the he told Aria that there was a tracer somewhere on his body. The only place Aria hadn't checked was his arm which he had been to scared to look at. He found that it was hideos beyond imagination. The skin had eroded and the inside of the arm was a bulging red mass of flesh. Without the gauntlet, the mutation began spreading. The leader of Rook Vanguard quickly found the tracer, and Aria put his gauntlet back on. Finally, the leader took him to the garden. Currently, Aria is training to learn how to use a real magnum.

I would say i am a mixture of light, earth, and fire. light: I am always cheerful, and goofy, and lighthearted around other people. Even if I hate someone Im cheerful around them. Also, like Lucifer himself, I am very good at making people do evil things. earth: I am a peacloving person, and somewhat of a treehuger. I feel very in-tune with nature. fire: I get angry FAST. My brain has a very short fuse. If you tick me off, I'ma ********************censored for violence******************** just kidding.

Gaming Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy
2010DigitalBoy replied to Gravy Train's topic in Noosphere
In order to get you some information before this thread is closed, I have traversed the vast wastelands of GameFAQS, and I have learned that the fullmetal alchimist game will be released sometime between July and Septermber. -
heh- I wasn't feeling sorry for myself-- I was feeling sorry for a nation that pays no attention to the child rapist living right next door but whose attention is turned to a jackass like MJ just because he was born with a talent and became a superstar-- and may be a child molester. Honestly, do you know the names of the sexual predators in your own community? I doubt it-- but MJ is worth all this attention WHY? And by the way-- he was like 5 years old when he recorded the first songs with his family-- he didn't go out and make it on his own-- other people did that for him.
Amen to that. Why should Micheal Jackson get so much attention for something that happens all the freakin time? If he's a child molester, throw him in jail and get it over with! Do you think all of this BS goes on with a normal child molester? If an average guy is accused, they bust in, find proof, and arest the guy. Their just milking this case for as much publicity as they can. Micheal may have had talent, and he may have been a great singer, in fact, I even like some of his music, but that doesn't make him innocent (or guilty). I have no proof though. As Havokio said, he's screwed.
