Kyohen put his shin on his fist and listened to the others speaking. He was aggrivated. He looked around at the happy and laughing people and really got annoyed. He looked down at his dragon. "So whats your name." "glad you asked, it's Sonic" Kyohen nearly burst out laughing. "Sonic? I have a hedgehog named Sonic!" The dragon got ticked and did a barrel roll. Kyohen freaked and screamed like a little girl. The dragon laughed in his low voice. Kyohen got angry and drew his sword. "better put that down, boy. If I fall you fall, and its a long drop" Kyohen put his sword in its sheath and put his chin on his fist.

I want to start a thread where people submit their reviews. I usually submit my reviews to GameFaqs, heres one i submitted and they accepted. Please, give me good reviews, if they suck, I wont know if the game is good or not... This is a review for Phantasy Star Online Episodes One and Two for the Nintendo Gamecube. There have been four other Phantasy Star games, all made by Sega, most of which can be found on the Phantasy Star Collection on the Game Boy Advanced. It may be important to know that I do not have the online version of this game, and I haven?t completed Episode 2 yet, but that doesn?t mean I don?t like the game? and now my review of Phantasy Star Online Episode One and Two. This is one of my top five all-time favorite Gamecube games. The game play is great. You play dozens of mission given by the hunter?s guild, and level up from killing enemies. You can equip up to six weapons at a time. There are hundreds of different weapons and armors you can buy and use depending on your level. There is a color system for weapon strength, and many of the weapons have special effects. There are also a whole bunch of upgradeable magic spells, all which depend on your stats. Mostly your character class determines your stats. Any human can use magic, and robots use traps. Your character class determines your MP meter, your HP meter, and which weapons you can use. This game brings several innovations to the table, and has some features you just won?t find in most offline gaming. The style is a lot like Sword of Mana in the fact that it?s an action RPG, and you sometimes get partners that follow you around. Also like Sword of Mana, you have a meter that fills up a little more with every hit, and when it fills you can use your Mag?s special ability, the Photon Blast. Oh, yeah, the Mags. The Mags are tiny things that float over your head. You can make them grow, evolve, and learn new Photon Blasts by feeding them certain items. While these Mags are great, they can be confusing and complicated. You won?t be using the things too often, because it is very difficult to fill up the meter, and they?re so complicated to use, they?ve earned their own strategy guide on the Game FAQs. All this may sound very confusing, but the game is actually very easy, and won?t take very long to get used to, especially if you read the FAQ and know what your doing. The one player mode game play is very fun, so I give that part a 7/10, and the game play of the multi mode ears a solid 10/10. This games game play earns a 9/10. There isn?t much story in this game. What there is, the characters tell you in little voiceless speech bubbles. You can find a lot of the plot in the missions, and things unravel through each NPC?s own story. As you complete missions, and the NPC?s get more information, you earn more levels, revealing new plot innovations and new monsters. With they?re not being much of the story, it?s hard to review, but I give it a not-so-great 6/10. The graphics are nothing amazing, but nothing to laugh at. There are no cinema scenes in this game, so FMV fans should walk away. The character customization is great. There are hundreds, possibly thousands of different costume combinations you can choose. The characters aren?t super detailed, but they?re cool enough to make you want to play. While they aren?t great, the backgrounds and environment are uber-detailed. There is lots of extra pointless stuff that just makes the experience better. The weapons look cool, and the spells are well done. The one thing that really could have been improved is the mag summoning. It seems like they tried to pull a Final Fantasy with the whole monster summoning thing, but it came off as a horribly ugly experience. I give the graphics a solid 7/10. The sound is great. The background is a combo of all sorts of weird sci-fi-ish tracks. The main menu has great techno and sci-fi tracks. The main theme, ?a whole new world,? is pretty good, and very epic sounding, but sounds too much like that annoying Aladdin song. The weapon noises are good. The guns have a basic bang noise, and the swords sound like light sabers. The magic sounds the best though, because the noises match the elements used in the attacks. When an enemy is hit, it basically makes a crash noise. Nothing too special. The charge attacks sound cool, though, so I give the sound a 7/10. This game is long. It takes at least 15 to 20 hours to beat Episode One and I haven?t even beaten episode 2 yet. But this is also a curse on one player mode. There aren?t very many levels, so playing one player missions will send you through a lot of the same places and a whole lot of the same battles. Also, sometimes you advance to the next stage before you?re at a high enough level. While this can get old fairly quickly, two-player mode will help your level, but I?ll discuss that in the next section. The playtime gets a good 8/10 This game has an insane replay value. The two-player mode won?t get old until it?s over. My friends and me have had more marathons here than any other games. It never gets old, because you always want to level up to get the new, cool items. Playing with your friends is a blast, because you can use great teamwork combinations to get the job done right. The only problem is, while your character data always saves, no matter how far you get in multimode, the game will send you back to forest one, that is until you beat the level in one player mode. Overall this game has a 10/10-replay value. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys online play. If you like multiplayer battles and you don?t really care about a little bit of repetitively, you will definitely like this game. I give it an 8/10. ___________________________ your turn!

Writing The Legend of Otaku Hollow [PG-13]
2010DigitalBoy replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
To long I wait for the next chapter. Bring me more funieness! (I did spell that right, right?) I don't know. (well thats to bad) Anyway, this story is great. I felt the battle with the other forum was the best part. Where he counterd and it made a big 'splotion. BOOM! The gay jokes were OK. I imagine the squirrel (jblessing wasn't it?) sounds like Ignignot from Aqua Teen Hunger Force? And someone else reminded me of someone else... whatever, BRING me MORE! -
Sonya: As the fire leves the mountain, does your woohoo need kicking! And also As for this one, youll only understand it if youve seen this episode of Futurama Liu: you are girl, you dont have will of warrior! You want fight, start, I win! Rematch? I win again!

I'm Changing my top five. 5. Custom Robo 4. Mario Power Tennis: This game is too darn cool. I can play the multiplayer forever. Me and my brothers do four player matches for one or two hours every day. Not to mention Ive alomst beaten all o the one player mode. The only fault is the multiplayer mini games completely suck. 3. super Smash Bros. Melee 2. Soul Calibur 2 1. Phantasy star online 1&2

Well, to be honest, the only reson my brother screwed up is because he didnt know about the sphere grid until the ice place.... But I beat him with everyone at full health. I simply killed the head with two thundara's and then I summoned Ifrit and just wailed on him until he died. 3. Petey Pirahna: Mario Sunshine: THis boss is NOT hard. I just never forgot about him from 3 years of video games. Of course, that was just me playing at others peoples house. I only picked this up... yesterday...
-
I totally agree with tatsube. I also wanted to add a few recent bosses Ive destroyed (hehe) 1. Chauncy: Luigi's Mansion: Oh, my, god, that baby will give me nightmares for the rest of my life. 2. Sinspawn Gui: Final Fantasy X: My brother took a thousand tries to beat this guy. I, instead, speant those hours trainig until LuLU had the -RA spells, and trained the Ifrit Aeon and whipped this boss in under 2 minutes.

I would definetally join this RPG if you start it. I'm liking the idea, but like dmage said, it would make more sense if you had 2 parents. Robin and Starfire, Raven and BB, Cyborg and Jynx, connections such as these make sense, as that would be the only appropriate marriages for those charachters. :tasty: :)

Gaming Your Ideas on the best video game
2010DigitalBoy replied to Kiba_the_Chosen's topic in Noosphere
Hey, wouldn't it be interesting if they made a Fable-like game, where you can have party members? That woulld be awesome. I thought of another game called "sport" where each level would beyou playing a differentsport. If you beat every sport, you are called the "sportmaster". Basically, you play one sport per level, until you beat them all. BUT theres a catch. If you beat a sport in Sportmaster mode, you unlock it in normal mode, where you can play it whenever you want. The amount of ooptions would be insane. -
Kyohen sat as tightly on his ride as possible, so that he didn't fall. Everyone else looked mesmerized as they gazed at the Earth below them. Kyohen simply closed his eyes and repeatedly chanted, "don't look down". The others were all talking with the dragons. Kyohen just looked at it oddly. He wasn't sure if hearing the dragon talk would scare him off the ride. Suddenly, the dragon said, "you don't have to freak out, I wont drop you." Kyohen's pupils shrunk and he yelled out the loudest scream he had ever screamed. The others burst out laughing again, even the dragons.
-
Kyohen hoped on his ride, a silver dragon. It was one of the shiniiest things he had ever seen, and he was a bigfan of shhiney things. He carefully clibed on top of the dragon, sliping as he did. He began to slip off, so he fell forward, and clung to the beast's neck for dear life. The others laughed, as they had already taken off. Arturos called from the distance, "hurry up, stop acting like youve never ridden a horse." Kyohen cringed. He hated horses, and were he real, he would hate them now in his grave. Kyohen leaned up and pulled on a cord, when suddenly the dragon took of into the sky. His dragon was fast, and quickly caught up with the otthers. Zaion was still laughing at him. Embarrased, Kyohen said nothing.

I picked this up today in an exchange for 15 crappy gams, and I must say it is SWEET. If you liked the first you will loove this, and if youve played this, then post away! Who's your favorite charachter? Favorite special move? Favorite one of those terrible mini games? Personally, my fovorite charachter is Boo, and the coolest attact is probably thte one DK uses where he fires himself out of the cannon. I don't really like the mini games though, especially that paint one. How do you hit the paint balls up? :tasty:

Gaming Holiday Titles and the Game Lists that follow...
2010DigitalBoy replied to Brasil's topic in Noosphere
Isn't this a Christmas list? Minish Cap and Final Fantasy Origins don't come out until February and March. If I was making an all around list, I would have added those two. And I have narrowed my list down to Exactly what me and my brothers are each wanting most. Including X-Box. Me: Halo 2 ( a great first person shooter) Fable (looks to be a great life living game) My brother 1: Mario Power Tennis (We loved the first game) Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (he says he wants it) My brother 2: Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 (the others were his favorite game) Mortal Kombat Deception (one word: online) -
Do to the fact that I'm a total nerd, and am obsessed with video Game history, i got my hands on a Super Nintendo, and a few games, one being Crono Trigger. So go ahead, share your memories. I haven't beaten it yet. I got to the part where you get magic, then you go to your own timeand verse the boss in that cave. After 4 hours of play, my file mysteriously dissapeared. Meh. I'll never forget the battle against the six blue robots who beat the crap out of poor Robo..... sad moment. Personally, my favorite charachter is Frog. :tasty:

Gaming Holiday Titles and the Game Lists that follow...
2010DigitalBoy replied to Brasil's topic in Noosphere
Before you read this, you must know a few things, ONE: I only recently got into PS2, so I don't have much, TWO: I have no X-Box. PS2: Ratchet and Clank Going Commando (the first was my favorite PS2 game) Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal (Its gotten tens from everyone) Jak 2 (looks cool) Jak 3 (looks better) Mortal Kombat decepton (looks to be a great game with online play) Final Fantasy X-2 (if I beat X by then) Gamecube: Metroid Prime 2 Echoes (loved the first) Baten Kaitos Secret of the Lost Ocean (demo seemed cool) Mario Power Tennis ( I loved the first one like crazy) Viewtiful Joe 2 (thats hard to spell) Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 C.A.R.D. Revolution (Multiplayer madness) X-box: Halo (duh) Halo 2 (may as well) Fable (looks very good) Ninja Gaiden (I don't care how hard it is) I can't remember the last one Thats my list. Because I have 2 brothers, I may be able to get quite a few. -
My countdown would have to look something like this.... But remember, I don't have an X-box, and I haven't gotten any games in 2 months. 5. Mortal Konmbat Deadly Alliance: A great and fun fighting game. I love the multiple styles, and eccesive blood. I usually impale people, then Kick them, and go from there. I can't wait to pick up Deception, and next year Shaolin Monks. 4. Custom Robo: I know its flawed, and more than 2 players can give you targeting problems, but its still a great game. Jump around and blast the crap out of everyone. I'm actually writing a strategy guide for this game. Look for it on Game FAQs in a month or so. 3. Super Smash Bros. Melee: God, I love this game. Get togetjer with a few friends and beat the living crap out of Each other. I personally prefer Samus. The items are great, and the moves are ultimate. 2. Soul Calibur 2: Best fighting game I've ever played. Of course it helps that I kick major azz at this game. I lust break out Seung Mina, and beat the crap out of everyone, except Kilik and Link on occasion. 1. Phantasy Star Online: This is a great multiplayer. I have never played it Online, but me, my brother, and my friends can play 4 player for hours on end. I've actually never had a real marathon of games, since one of us always gets bored, but we have had a 7-hour marathon.

Gaming Your Ideas on the best video game
2010DigitalBoy replied to Kiba_the_Chosen's topic in Noosphere
Yes! I like this thread all ready. Okay, I think it would be interesting to have a mix of adventure/RPG/ and Tactics. There could be Adventure like Phantasy Star Online, RPG like Chrono Trigger, and Tactics like Fire Emblem. It would start as an adventure. Then you can get more partty members, and it would slowly evolve into a Sword of Mana kind of thing. At some parts, if your on a small boat or plane or something, then you would enter random RPG battles. Then, once you have a lot of charachters, there can be showdown levels between your guys and a wave of opponents in a tactics match! -
despite being a huge FF fan, Ive only played 7 and 10. My favorite charachter is definetaly Wakka. He is awesome! He has all the special effect attacks, and he has a cool hairdo. Not to mention hes good at blitzball, america's (should be) favorite sport. Him, Auron, and Lulu are my favorite party.

I have no idea what it is, but there is this great candy, that has a wrapper of a cow in a meadow. There little milk, caramel, hard candies that you suck on for like five minutes. They are awesome

*OOC*I just moved, so I couldnt post Kyohen stared at the huge beast in amazed. It was gross, but it still looked pretty neat. The growing skin was sickening, almost as much as the fact that Jarod was THAT much smarter than him. But then he heard Kamui say "Strongest" and instantly he made sure he was the only one rynning at the sound of the word. *OOC* sorry thats all I can think of

"Well! its about time!" Kyohen screamed, then ran in and jumped, slashing at the huge creature, but when his blade hit, he was sent sprawling backward. "The point is that you work together." Arturos pointed out, then laughing he said, "you better hurry! Ive revived it with the order to kill you all!" The rest of the group looked back at him, like he was insane. He was insane. "Alright, we'll have to work together," Reaf said, drawing his blade. Jarod, Kamui, and Kyohen took off in a foreword sprint. Kierra and Reaf, drew bow and slingshot. Zaion and Shero came running in from the sides. Arturos smiled as they all started to attack. First, Kierra and Reaf started firing at the creatures head, as Jarod and Kyohen slashed at its front. Kamui slid under the creatures legs and began attacking the monster from behind. Zaion and Shero Quickly ran toward the distracted monster and used their best moves to bring the creature slowly to its knees it struuggled to attack as it was hit from all sides, as the fighters hit it. But they didn't look like they were working together. Arturos begin to increase the monsters power.
