You just made me want to pistol whip Austin Powers. DB, listen to Japan. They always say you shouldn't hit girls. The supposed reason is because they are weak and in need of protection from us big, strong men. Bullcrap. I'm in karate, trust me on this. The reason you don't hit a girl is because they will rip your limbs out and beat you to death with them. Just avoid her or hang out with teachers in order to avoid trouble.
Okay, for the last time, I don't really intend to hurt this chick. I've never even been in a fight and she has the frame of a grisly bear. Come on now. And anyway, I guess I'll just try to avoid her, since she's only in my lunch block and I stay away from her in the courtyard anyway. The only reason I have to deal with her at all is because my best friend clings to her like a damn marsupial, but he's gotten boring as **** since he started going with her anyway.
Seconded. I mean seriously, this whole thing came about because you threatened to "kick her ***" because she pulled your hair ? What are you like six ? Grow a pair for Christ's sake.
I never threatened her directly XD I just moved across the table. I just told m friend I wanted to kick her *** if she didn't knock it off. And like I said, she doesn't just **** with my hair (which, BTW for me is a HUGE nono) she also has hit me a lot (used to have bruises).

Okay, the title is not really what this is all about, but anyway, on to the topic. There's this [slash]***** whore ****[/slash] girl at my school who, last year, I met near the end of the year (met isn't even appropriate, I only sat at her table once and don't even know her name, but some o my friends are friends with her. I.e. the goth group) anyway, she's really wierd and masculine and for about a week or two at the end of the year she'd always pinch me or punch me if she passed me in the hallway. I never knew what the **** to think cuz I don't even know this girl, but I'll say know, I bruise easy and she's a big *** *****. Anyway, my best friend started... I can't even say going out with her, really. the past 2 weeks she seems to be his gf and they're always kissing, so we all refer to her as his gf, though now he's saying she isn't (my guess: he didn't put out, lol). Anyway, this means that she started sitting at our B-day lunch table and on the other side of my friend. But this crazy whore actually reaches around m friend just to like pull my hair or ****. So I told him to get his girlfriend to stop ****ing with me before I kicked her ***. So today, I sat at the opposite end of the table, but I guess this was a mistake, cuz the crazy whore actually flung a ball of mashed potatoes at me, hittig me in the face. I took it well, and just ate them off of my face and jacket, but then she came around and dropped the rest on my head. Well, I spent the next 5 minutes with my friends helpping me use my jacket to get the potatoes out of my hair, meanwhile I cracked some jokes about how she was concealing a massive penis under the table and long-distance jizzing on me from across the table, and some other stuff about her spiky dick and how she prolly rapes my friend and leaves trackmarks. And other insults. Whatever. Now I want to know, what eould you do? If she touches me again, is it acceptable to kick her *** even though she's a girl, and worse yet, my best friend's woman? I told him today that the warnings were over and that next time I'd alert the first nearby teacher or administrator. But hould I even let her get that far, or just notify someone right away? MAshed potatoes don't come out easily, BTW. I need a shower, and my jacket is currently needing to be washed.

I didn't even know that a format war existed but apparently there is one and it has become violent. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you the difference between HD and blue-ray. Anyone have an opinion about this?
I occasionally go back and read the ENTIRE archive of Penny Arcade, in one sitting. But it takes me longer and longer each time.
I did that with Sluggy Freelance once or twice. Some good stuff, but it's like 10 years worth of back-catalog ^^;; worse yet, it was DAILY for a lot of that time >_

Boy I feel like a jackass. Didn't even bother to mention Mistakes of Youth run by my good pal Wildarmsheero (actually, he probably doesn't feel the same way about me XD). It's otaku humor. If you are not an otaku, the jokes are likely to go right over your head (went over mine for a while, too) as they are directly relative to the shows on TV now. Anyway, he has a... very disturbing sense of humor but it's still fun. Linked in m banner and his blogged is linked to BOKU WA RO-RI-KON.
REJECTED :modrod: We have that already. It's called sienna. Edit: I looked into doing an image map tag and, while it's possible, I won't be adding it. Due to having absolutely no control over how and where custom BB tags are used, people would be able to use it to bypass the one image per signature rule. Which sucks because it's something I would've liked to have added.
Who in gods name that knows how to use those tags properly (mind you most can't even figure out spoiler tags) is going to go through all that trouble just to piss off the admins?
Further note to new members: The user formerly known as 21st Century Digital Boy (easily spotted by his pumpkin colors) is unfailingly seen with his clingy attaché of questionable orientation. (Yeah, that kind.) Unfortunately, he has used too many different names, mostly in the same week, to have a specific designation anymore?for some reason, though, we call him Prem. I can't remember why....
My gay (oh ****, did I spoil it? Should that be in tags?) partner there is called Prem mostly because he had the name Premonition for the time when he was most spoken to. When he changed his name to Revolver, he told me in a PM that he was later planning to change it to Premonition again at some point, so I could keep calling him Prem. Ordinarily his name would change once every three months. he got this model from yours truly, who on his old profile, had I believe 6 different usernames changing them every 3 months (the amount of time I estimated it took for Dagger's PM box to no longer show my name-change request on the first page, as well as the amount of time I thought I was dutied to keeo any name as punishment for having changed it) Also, I didn't expect people to call me anything other than DB when I changed my name. Everywhere else on the internet it's still digitalboy and even on my blog. The reason I cahnged it here is because I figured everyone knew me well enough that they would still know who it was, and besides Deus ex Machina is just a badass name. Come New Years, I plan to change it to 2008DigitalBoy. -
Copied from LOOK AT THIS What makes ef interesting and different is what also has it teetering on an edge that it will have to be really careful about. The show makes use of as many things to set it apart as possible. Most commonly noted is the highly diverse animation and ?weirdness for the sake of weirdness?. There are also a lot of situations present in ef that you don?t see as commonly in other romances. My personal favorite being that one of the characters is a professional manga artist who is in the midst of questioning his purpose in this career as well as trying to balance himself between his job and school life and trying to find color in his world. Then there?s the eye-patched girl who can?t remember anything beyond 13 hours prior. This isn?t so much new to anime romance since we always get our fair share of incredibly strange diseases/hidden abilities/true forms but thankfully her case is at least more believable. What makes her interesting, though, is her desire to write a novel, and it gets even better when we get to know the rather dark and intelligent nature of her ideas. It?s in all these complexities, though, that ef finds itself at a problem which it can either dodge with ease, or crash right into depending on the coming episodes. Tat being that any little cliche that manages to sneak in will look absolutely crushing on the show as a whole. In episode 4, there?s a scene where one of the love interests of the manga artist is at home preparing a meal for him, while the other is feeding him. Anyone would have predicted that they would run into each-other, and lo and behold, it happened. This incident that is not uncommon to romance stories seems especially cheesy when seen in ef. (We also had a lot of cooking scenes in general, though thankfully none of the ugly over-dramatic ones that plague so many anime. I wonder if they were just trying to slap those shows in the face?) In any event, ef is 100% a show for me. It?s got the same romantic cynicism that you might find in a Boogiepop novel, only without the darkness. The writers have a very intriguing view on society, and since it deals with a conflict that I suffer from presently (the conflict of following one?s dreams against what is ?morally? correct and ?politically? correct) I will surely be tuned in. Latest Episode (5): Makes up for episode 4?s borderline silliness with some hard-hitting dialog on the part of bow-tie girl and I?m really, really getting to like the relationship between eye-patch girl and guy-with-horrid-hair. Eyepatch-girl?s book sounds deep and interesting and I look forward to more exposition on it. One of my favorite things about this show is how all of the characters are so closely related and yet it never groups them up - they feel like separate stories about a group that doesn?t realize how closely woven they are.

You know, there should be an initiation into otakuboards for new members. Like spending a full day in prvate message conversation with Gunslinger. Or forcing them to stare at this image for 5 minutes. http://www.dannychoo.com/blogimg/bunnygirls3.jpg or survivng an AIM chat with Raiha. Your Mentallity & Your Personality
2010DigitalBoy replied to Aberinkula's topic in General Discussion
The real question here is if any of that actually describes you or not. If it does, who typed it originally doesn't really matter.
I meant to say 'you think I typed that **** just now' See, its from a novel i myself am writing about a character who is similar to myself. However, that description is downright robotic, and only talks about the characters supposed mental illnesses cuz the story, Medicate Me is all about his confusion toward those things. I share those sentiments, but I'd barely say it could describe me as there's much more to me. -
When there's a new number one, you know it's time to update your list, lol. I'll first post the full revised list, then note which were removed and give reviews of those added. Note that rather than 3 tiers, it is now in many tiers. 1. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann 2. Neon Genesis Evangelion 3. Welcome to the NHK 4. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 5. Serial Experiments Lain 6. Mai-HiME 7. Fooly Cooly 8. Revolutionary Girl Utena 9. Kino’s Journey 10. The Soultaker 11. Kanon 2006 12. Air 13. Simoun 14. Manabi Straight 15. Ichigo Mashimaro Honorable Mentions 16. Hitohira 17. Boogiepop Phantom 18. R.O.D. the TV 19. Maria-sama ga Miteru REMOVED: The old honorable mentions since they were BS anyway, and moved Hitohira and Boogiepop down into them because I don't think they are quite deserving of favorite status. ADDED: 1. Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann - I could write a novel about Gurren-Lagann and why it's amazing, but I don't need to, because I can sum it all up with one phrase - Gurren Lagann is Gurren Lagann. There's nothing else comperable. 10. The Soultaker - My shinbo fanboyism at it's best, lol. The Soultaker is stylized genius. It doesn't brag about itself or anything - it tells a straightforward story as interesting as any interesting anime, however it does so with as much uniqueness overlayed as humanly possible. The way this show was so utterly thoroughly dark was simply amazing - it's one of the most downright gothic shows around. The symbolism is perfect, striking the balance between blatant and withdrawn. The show gives you a beginning to end journey and lets you detail it as you please. 15. Ichigo Mashimaro - This show is just downright cute. It's my favorite slice-of-life comedy and is obscure enough to make it not quite like anything you've seen before, but familiar enough that it's wam to the heart. The characters are all memorably unique and work expertly together. it really stands out in my memory as one of the most warmhearted shows around. 18. R.O.D. the TV: This show is great for the drama and slice-of-life elements being strong enough to make for a fun ride. While it's not perfect, it is still entertaining and endearing. What makes it worty of honorable mention, though, is the fights and the yuri, lol. Okay, I try not to count the yuri too much, but it really was done very damn well.
The scene between Anita and her would-be lover is one of my favorite anime scenes, period.
The fights were some of the most clever things imaginable - perfectly directed, fully animated, but most importantly, utterly unique. The writers really take advantage of the powers to the fullest. 19. Maria-sama ga Miteru - I think FasteriskHead explained it much better than I can in the old-*** 5 Absolute Favorite thread if you feel like hunting it down. EDIT: dug it up for you anyway, since it's worth reading the post. After all, I've read it so many times I can practically recite it. Heavy Metal: A Head Banger's Discussion Thread
2010DigitalBoy replied to Justin's topic in Noosphere
Sorta. I don't feel like explaining it more. Kam, you handle this. As far as vocal technique goes, I think death growls are the easiest, but black metal screeches are the most fun and most pleasing to the ears. I want to get my harsh vocals to sound like John Haughm of Agalloch. I think he has the most perfect harsh vocal. He and Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth, albeit in a very different style. I hate "inhale" vocals (you know, the whole 'bree bree or or" thing).
John Haughm has an insanely great scream. I've tried as hard as I can and can't come close to it. i swear he's magic. Mikael has probably the best deep one out there - since normally I don't like deep ones. -
I think you need to watch Gunbuster/Diebuster now. :D
The only real answer I can think of is this: http://21stcenturydigitalboy.wordpress.com/2007/11/05/just-a-21st-century-digital-boy/

It's a stand-alone piece. It's because I have a habit of writing openings to things that can't really be built off of, or that are just random pieces. I wrote this as a prologue to something, but it doesn't need to be. It's fine on it's own, because it had all the emotions I wanted conveyed at the time. I enjoy it because the emotion is there, but the concept is open for interpretation.
Oh come on, this is God's answer to anime fans asking for an awesome series. I mean it - this is God's answer to what good anime should be. Only GAINAX and pure hot-blooded passion could generate this unequivocal masterpiece.

Prem, this is real lol material XD yall are some frighteningly angry kids, man. Most absolutely angry I ever got and I kicked over a fan. Even made sure it landed on my bed, and that I didn't kick it too hard to break it. Yall are crazy *** mofos. -
I'm a lot more mainstream, XD. I read Megatokyo primarily. It used to be one of my favorite stories, but ever since I became more in-tune with the subject matter I lost a lo of respect for it unfortunately. Still read each new one, though, because I go through the comic site to get to the forums. I used to read the many works of Sean Howard. His biggest series is A Modest Destiny, which is a formery-daily webcomic steeped in great mythology, a beautiful sense of humor (till it gets darker and even cooler) and some badass storytelling all around. He's also got some other webcomics on there and a novel-like thing. He then started working on games and has abandoned his comic site for months. (squidi.net for all) I also keep up with VGCats and if it wasn't so slow I'd be reading Gone with the Blastwave. I've read portions of a LOT of other webcomics, though. These are the only ones I still bother to check up on, though.

Don't know what these are called, but anyway. ~The Red Sea at the End~ I remember what happened. The conscious decision to become unconscious. It's because I was fed up. No, that's not not accurate. I had just lost my ability to endure. I was looking for an easy way out, I guess. I couldn't deal with anything anymore, so I ran away. But where did I go? The first thing that came into view was a bright red sea. It stretched on forever into the distance, and the ripples of tiny waves continually splashed on the shore where I sat. It was no beach - only cold pavement that was cracked and jagged like the result of some massive earthquake. I was standing on a jutted piece of ground that stabbed several feet into the air. I was naked, staring off into the distance of this eternal sea. I thought that this must have been the blood of everyone who'd ever died glistening in the evening sun. Ding! A chime resonated from behind. I turned my head carefully into the direction of the land. What I came upon was a city in ruins. Buildings were crushed and toppled over. Roads were broken and raised to match the buildings, and everything was a giant mess of concrete and twisted steel. It was like a pair of giant hands had squeezed the city onto a ball and the blood of all it's inhabitants dripped from it like juice into the sea. It mixed with the water and become bright red and diluted. Was I standing on the banks at the end of the world? I looked up at the sun. Supposing that all of mankind had gone extinct, the sun still burned. It meant that life continued to go on in the eyes of the universe that is so much bigger than one planet. The cosmos would not remember our kind. So I was all alone in this world. The fault was my own, though. After all, I'd run away from the life of a human. Naturally if I wasn't human, I must not have seen the same fate that they did. I was left alone where I chose to be, standing on the brink of existence. On all sides, I stood before a dead world. Which way did I go? Try to walk through the city where nothing exists any longer? Or cast myself into the sea and drown in the reality of my mortality? All that remained for me was regret. The only ability left of me was to regret my decision to become alone.
