1. lol, about that. I misunderstood that actually, before. But if you think you are anyway, then whatever. Anyway, though it leaves out important things about my brothers, I could be summarized by... Exposition Depending on your sleep patterns, it's possible that you know what it's like to be kept up all night by your thoughts. Or perhaps it is that you naturally find yourself unable to sleep at night, and your thoughts see it fit to accompany you. To those who have not experienced this, it would be best to describe it. Thoughts from all corners of the mind might decide to bubble up during these lonely hours. In a time where something important rests upon your mind, it is likely to occupy your thoughts as it normally would. "Does she really love me?" "I hope I did well on the midterms," "I'm really glad I decided to become a vegetarian." In the meantime, other more menial thoughts might seek to shoulder these ones. "I really like that new Tool song," "I should change my desktop tomorrow." Perhaps a song will flitter through your head. "I'm a masochist, I'm turning on the screw." Silos Cygnus was the type of boy to experience this on a daily basis. He had been a lifetime victim of chronic insomnia. However, as is the case with most, he was not diagnosed with this, nor had perfectly recognized that he suffered any problem. However, he was well aware that his sleep patterns were abnormal, because they had a habit of conflicting with other peoples' schedules. His parents had been notified of this later in his teens when he thought that it might be affecting his grades. His parents knew that even when he was a small child he'd had difficulty sleeping, however they'd never related it to a potential disorder. Cygnus' time awake at night had, in recent years, become more stressful for him. On nights in which he found himself awake for a particular amount of time, his mind would run wild into speculation about his life. Sometimes there had been simplistic and often recurring themes of these strange thought patterns. For instance, there had been times in which he would wonder if his long hair was creating too much heat around his head, or if he'd be happier not having to put up with badgering questions about the nature of it. Sometimes his thoughts would be out of character entirely. Several times he had enacted a work-out regiment for himself late at night, hoping that by doing exercise he could start to get in shape without taking away from his day. Other times his thoughts would be more complex. Cygnus had become obsessed with psychoanalyzing himself under the notion that he was different from other people or suffered psychological ailment. Because of his reserved nature among strangers, Cygnus was often ridiculed about his lack of physical capabilities, less-than-good looks, and reclusive personality. However, among friends he was thought of as outlandish for the way he said offensive or otherwise abnormal things for no reason. Though they only meant to poke fun at him, Cygnus wondered if their words held more meaning. On one hand, he thought that in a world as big as the one he lived in there must have been millions of people who were exactly like himself. However, the more he thought about the differences in culture between different places and his inability to find another person like himself, he became curious. Most of Cygnus' time, he found, was spent doing repetitive tasks. While using the internet, he would cycle between two pages or reload a single one over and over even if he knew it would not change. Likewise, he would get up and walk around his house as if he expected to find something happening, only to return to what he was doing and repeat this process incessantly. Cygnus believed himself to suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. While he was in his early teens, his father was diagnosed with the disorder and a few years later he found himself to bear matching symptoms. Upon researching the disorder thoroughly, he assured himself of his ailment, however he still did not seek to have it professionally diagnosed or cured. He had also researched and found himself matched to every symptom of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, however he had strong beliefs that the disorder was not real. Having known an incredible amount of people taking medication for this ailment, he'd lost trust that it was even a disorder and just the common behavior of people his age. Despite this, as his conditions seemed to grow worse, he wondered if it might be best for him to go find out if medication would actually be best for him, seeing that his inattention toward things which he aspired to succeed at was causing him to fail. One of the biggest reasons that Cygnus did not believe in the existence of some of these psychological or physical disorders was because of the recent propaganda regarding Restless Leg Syndrome. For as long as he could remember, Cygnus had been known for his inability to keep one seating position for more than a few minutes, and it had caused him trouble while trying to concentrate at his desk, however he could not believe that something as simplistic as that could be considered a mental ailment. It was in identifying all of these things to himself, though, that he began to question his own disbelief. After all, while it did seem ridiculous to himself that he could be suffering from so many disorders, it also stood to reason that they could all be real, and that he was denying himself the treatment he deserved. 2.
Of course there will always be Gurren Lagann fans I mean come on, GALAXIES! the whole last episode blew me waaaay over my expectations, (although
Arc-Gurren Lagann punching a hole through space time
really sealed the deal for me. Greatest anime ever or GREATEST anime ever?
GREATEST ANYTHING EVER. Is more like it. I'd say that the part where galazies get stuck into others when thrown is what made it for me. Utterly ****ing Gurren Lagann.
3. Everything I do when I feel well, only without the school or half the pleasure.
4. Thanks for the advice again, but again there's some troubles. I'm really serious about you at least describing the book in part, lol. I am very picky. For instance, I pretty much don't like Fantasy or Sci-fi at all >_> Which is weird, since PoB is sort of in-between the two lol. And the reason I need you to describe the story is simply because I am not going to go out of my way for something that might not interest me, when I've got enough things that do interest me on my plate. And believe me, I read quite slow. Ans anyway, Boogiepop isn't a graphic novel >_> there's one based on it, but it's a thoroughbred novel, lol. But yeah, my horizons deserve to be expanded.
5. I just watched all of Gurren-Lagann. There are no words in the English language to describe this experience. Nothing is comparable. Gurren Lagann is Gurren Lagann - nothing else can be said. This took everything i've ever experience and kicked it to the curb.
6. lol, Allamorph I wish you'd have just done the first chapter since the prologue was copypaste from over a year ago ^^;; I did almost no editing except for the peoples' names. But anyway, thanks for the help, even if you went overboard, lol. (the reason I say you went overboard is that if every piece of it is bad, you could have just said it was all bad, lol. Either way it's tl'dr for most of it, sorry). When it comes to learning through imitation... it's difficlut becaus eI hate feeling like I'm ripping someone off. 90% of the stories I start (none I show here, btw) copy the style of my favorite novel Boogiepop and Others and every time I end up deleting it uz I feel like I'm just copying it, lol. However, looking back at PoB and AtA which I wrote recently (AtA is irrevocably bad, though) one of the biggest problems is that I tried to write a movie/show. See, I don't really like books that much, i've got a thing for cinema, and I ended up trying to copy styles from that realm instead, which doesn't work all that well. At all. Anywho, thanks for the tips.
7.
Oh nose, I can't listen to it either because I don't have Windows Movie Maker on this computer. :[ If you open the riff in audacity you can record your part along with it so it matches up and everything, too. :]
dammit! I'll never figure out how to upload correctly T_T Anyway, the bass won't match if I do that. because I don't play bass, lol. It took me 4 tries just to play it right when I was recording.
8. W00t! That guitar riff is great, so I recorded a bass riff and with the help of my trusty hard drive now you can dl the file with ease! BTW, it will have to be sped up to match Clurr's and there's a bit of reverb ^^;; http://www.mediafire.com/?5bxm0jz0xxj
9. But as it turns out the salad is a thousand times more delicious than the burger. Bah, there's no way to make myself look good here T_T
10. Not the best Friday to start a 4-day weekend of all marathons. I had a lot of headaches about things so I only got through 5 eps of Hidamari Sketch which was meant to be done by the time I go to sleep. however, /I had forgotten just how absolutely and completely amazing this show is, so it's a beautiful reliving, and also I had one of the coolest swordfights my bro and I have ever staged, so that was cool. So I guess I don't have regrets!
11.
What ever happened to the arena? Older myotaku members will remember it. It was when you chose 2 anime charcaters and wrote a batte scene telling who you thougt would win. I must say I miss that. it was really entertaining to read.( i remember a Sephiroth and Link one that was pretty cool) :animesmil
Go to Fanfiction.net with your fanboy spiel please. Honestly, a place with the words 'anime character' and 'dream match' pr anything of the like is like a sign saying 'fanboy spam here plz'
12.
I guess DB has abanded another story, sad becase I was looking forword to chapter 2.
I am currently working on New Blue alongside another story that won't be shown on OB. however, I spent all of lat week doing HW and all this weekend is dedicated to anime. Never speak too soon. I'm a very busy man.
13. Fasterisk, as I've said before, your posts are absolutely beautiful, and I had fun reading it but you are 100% wrong about the croud. You see, while lolicon is a draw, no one is watching it just for that. (****, if I wanted that, I'd go watch Imouto Jiru again XD) You see, I remember when people were tlaking about their expectations for this show and 90% of everyone said it looked like lolicon trash they wouldn't touch. I looked at a lot of anime blogs who had it at the bottom of their lists for shows coming out this season. I know that over at megatoko, I was one of 3 people really looking forward to it. Yes, it's true, all 3 of us are lolicon, but all three of us were cheering on the incredible psychological element. Would I have watched it anyway? Yes. I loved Moetan for what I've seen. But is that what makes KnJ a good show? No. IT's probably true that lolicon like me would have liked it, but nothing to make it the amazing show that it is. I agree with you that it's hard to explain. Because every lolicon who looked forward to it was chastised for using the psychological aspect as an excuse, but you know what? All those people who were saying 'AVOID!' are now talking about how much they love it. That alone is proof enough for me that this show is deserving of it's likely popularity. I'm just hoping the anime does well enough that Seven Seas thinks about picking the manga back up. I was ****ing pissed about that ****.
14. Ever since I first signed up for OB I've wanted to be a mod. I looked up to them so much and wanted to be like them. I remember when my first account was banned and I resigned as MetalSonic700 I tried to sound smart and spellcheck my posts to try and get the mods to notice me. I was never a well-known member of OB so I always knew I wouldn't get noticed, so I let my posting slack a lot in the middle. However, when I abandoned Tical Blue to become F.O.Y (AKA this account) I once again wanted to try for modship. If you look at my first posts with this account, all of them are rediculously long and spellchecked XD. I had started typing my posts up in Word before transferring them here. Of course, by the time I got into my first stupid debate with DeathKnight I thouht my chances were shattered for sure with my ratboy reputation and all. However, I think that over the past however many months I've more than made up for it by being the most awesome dude evar >_> I honestly do think I could do a better job than a lot of mods, no offense. It's simply for the 2 reasons that 1.) I'm always here and 2.) I have a craving for order. Mind you, I'd make a bad mod because I'd be modding posts in all forums, being the first one getting to them, lol. That's why I made that post about wanting to be an admin, though I'm pretty sure that's not what thy do ^^;; Also, if I were a mod, all of the goddamn thread directories would be organized.
15. I'd say something witty, but I didn't even get the joke XD
16. CLANNAD 5 was great, nice to see an ep take itself seriously and have plot n all and I'm glad it moves much faster than Kanon.
The whole thing about "it" coming off every now and then was absolutely priceless.
I can't help but hope that
Fuu-chan
doesn't just disappear when her arc is over like so many other Key girls. She's too adorable ^_^ Also, DANGO FULL.
17. T_T Every episode the story gets better, but the censorship gets even worse. I think this show would be 3X funnier without the cens, but it's still a great show. This **** needs to get out on DVD NAOW!!! Ep 3: greatest moment is when sensei gets kicked in the balls and a kid yells "Are you a girl now for today?!"
18.
Haha, you see, you need... to put the wav files to wma files so they won't be so big. My computer won't let me downlaod them...Tis a freezey little bastard indeed. go into windows movie maker, put the song in just as audio, save the movie file, and it 'll come out as just...a song...same song...with less mb. Indeed. So. After the collecting of members, we will get a myspace. And...I think having IM would be a good choice so that we could use the file transfer on one of the IM services...like AIM, or MSN, Yahoo, etc. to make it faster and easier to give files to each other. :]
I'm on a mac. An evil, evil mac.

22. DANGO DAIKAZOKU MAY BE THE GREATEST SONG EVER.
23. Ugh... Garageband mysteriously uninstalled itself from my comp, so I installed Audacity which is MUCH better already XD. Anywho, I randomly recorded myself singing Godfather's Lollipop by Shabutie. It's not nearly as good as the original, but then again it's my favorite vocal performance ever, so its not easy to live up to. There are some glaring mistakes at one part and another part that I remembered my parents were home and I wouldn't be able to sing the part with a lot of cuss words. You can hear me ****ing up XD. I was quite impressed with myself, though. I think I nailed most of the soft part. Anyway, here's... The Original Me Singing EDIT: No the kind of drums you were prolly hoping for, but if anyone wants something to go off of... http://www.mediafire.com/?1xjlwzittib EDIT 2: I'm proud of this rendition of Lechium by Dredg as well. I'd really like to find a song in more lower tone, though, since I sing better that way ^^;; http://www.mediafire.com/?7he4nm3bfmi
24. As the first in 4 days that I've not had to do homework all day, I'd say it's been pretty darn great. On top of that, I've finally gotten all my grades up to passing (even if I've got straight Ds >_>) and all I ca think about it the upcoming 4 day weekend. Wait, I didn't say that right. FOUR DAY WEEKEND. It's a beautiful thing.
25. Oi oi. I don't know if I'm any good, but I can sing. I can do any range you please, even geddy-lee-style-testicle-wrenching falsetto. I have a recording device (GarageBand on Mac) that isn't professional at all, but I've used it a lot. If you want, I could upload a sample.
