Nanaka Crash is a weird-*** addicting Japanese game of which every otaku must brag about their high scores, lol. Don't mind that the site is Japanese - the game is easy to figure out as it really only requires you to click the screen, but it is apparently a lot more complex than it first appears and many have developed intense strategies for winning. Me, I'm happy as long as I get to see a mangled guy get hit by a bike and beat by schoolgirls XD.

Bah. I avoid these people as much as possible. And often argue with them or maake cynical comments on everything they say within earshot of me >_> I know of one girl who I was an aquantance of in 9th grade who always complained about something or other. So the next year I end up becoming friends with a girl who was (once) that girl's best friend and talked bout how much the firs girl was a total fake and a liar who wines about **** and stabs people in the back. I wonder if girl 2 realized she was also complaining and talking ****, but oh well. I don't talk to either now, lol.
Dave Davidson/ Erin Elders of Maps and Atlases- Intertwining, weaving walls of tapping guitar, converging in and out of harmony. Absolutely insane to watch. To see the skill it takes to do two-handed tapping like that...
The thread should have been closd right there - that's the only pair you need to know XD. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is the best guitarist evar. He can do anything. He is guitar batman. The dudes from Mastodon are pretty damn impressive too, coming up with some real powerhouse riffage. When it comes to riffs, though, I give the biggest nod to the dudez of Pearls and Brass who give riffage a whole new meaning. And I think someone mentioned Alex Liefson, right? He deserves it.
Eventually, all the unpopular people will rise up to defeat the evil popular people of the future!!! Those who disagree will regret denying it when it happens.
That ranks in the top 5 most hilariously dumb things I've ever heard in my life. I so hope you were joking - so very much. Predictions? Nah. I can barely remember what I did yesterday much less know what'll come tomorrow. It's better to go with the flow, yo.

Right, well, as you know I just began my school year and I already hadn't posted for 2 weeks even in my other rp, and now I even need a little time to settle into this schedule, but before too long I'll be in again. I've just had a lot on my plate lately, and despite eating with a rather large fork, I still have a good portion left :animeswea
What's worse is that my mom will buy either diet or vault when she goes to the store. I've dumped it out on the lawn cause I didn't liek it. Then I yelled at my mother for it not being the real thing. I also have the tendancy to chug too much.
Prem, I think you have a problem that goes far beyond soda O_o I hate Vault, but my bro swears by it. I'd rather commit seppuku than drink Diaet MD.
As for me I'm an addict to Mountain Dew. I just can't go a day without it. I've even polished off a carton of milk, just so my father would take me tot eh stre, then I would buy a Mountain Dew. I love every flavor that has been released. From Code Red, to Pitch Black. I've tasted them all. Yet, nothing beats the original.
I can't go ten minutes without it. I personally have been burning through 2-liters daily, and a couple days last week I wen tthrough 2 almost single-handedly. i get real antsy when I don't have it, too. When I use the word addiction, I don not use it figuratively.
Well, after lstening to Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Sorrow), I have the feeling that this song was played on the radio a year or two back.
Wrong. A Favor House Atlantic and Blood Red Summer both had radio play and music videos. Yes, that's probably why they're the 2 shortest and most formulaic songs on the album, lol. Currently listening to BATTLES and to be more specific, the song ATLAS. The song is amazing and espite it's length, increadibly catchy with the super-hilarious... erm... 'singing'. Bloody good stuff.

Hot chocolate aye? Well, I know that it tastes better made with milk than water... or I think I remember that >_< I dn't really do chocolate, but Hot Chocolate is alright. I don't get why the marshmellows are there sice they have little taste and just make your hotchocomilk crunchy, lol.

Anime What are You Watching/Reading Now?
2010DigitalBoy replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Otaku Central
Huh. Weird. Yeah, I've heard the dub is great, but you should also listen to the JP track if you ever get the urge to watch the show again. Jouji Nakata was born to be the Count. ~Dagger~
I watched the first 2 eps in Japanese before watching the dub, and I agree, that guy is the best Count ever, but I can safely say that if he wasn't the perfect count, the english voice actor would be. he's really that good. It's one of the best dubs I've ever heard. Franz's voice is so utterly perfect, lol. The only one who's kind of annoying is Albert since he's so whiney... EDIT: Saw ep 1 of Someday's Dreamers. Could only find the dub, which is hilarious because the main character suddenly has a southern accent halfway through the episode and seems to trade between them thorughout >_> The show seems interesting enough. As a fan of slice-of-life and obviousl gay men, I think I can keep watching, but only if I can find it subbed since the dub is pretty bad. -
Your loss. :animesmil By the way, you're almost up to the episode of Gankutsuou that basically left me in the fetal position. Good times. (Er, and what's up with your name for Haydée/Haidee?) ~Dagger~
>_> They pronounce it like 'Here' in the dub at least. BTW, excellent dub. -
Currently Day Seven: Hope by Ayreon. My brother and I were pointing out the irnoy that 'Hope' comes before 'School' and then 'Memories', lol. ...T_T

argh... if I didn't hate the character dsigns so very much I'd give that show a try. Currenlty watching Maria-sama ga Miteru Haru (up to ep. 4). Thus far the season has been much better than the first. The first years are *love*. And Rosa Giganteae. Also, I have now seen up through episode 16 of oh-my-****ing-god-best-show-evar Gankutsuou and will be able to pick up the remaining two DVDs on Friday. I cannot even express just how damn great this show is. It's epic, brilliant, suspenseful, has perfect characters, the coolest animation style ever, and The ****ing Count. ho is, BTW, the king of the cosmos. Also, Here and Peppo and the awesomely
gay
Franz. Honestly, what's not to love? -
I watched the first season of Maria-sama ga Miteru so fast that it really felt like I hadn?t seen it at all, lol. It could be because I spaced out certain episodes and then block-watched the second half, but either way, it went by like lightning. My opinion on it is a little mixed, and I hope that I manage to watch this series again one day knowing what to expect. The biggest problem I had was simply being confused out of my damn mind about all the titles and names and who was who and in what position. It took me almost the whole of 7 episodes to sort it all out, lol. My first ssue was that I think I took the show too seriously at first. The pacing was a little odd in the early episodes, which contributed to the confusion, but it really straightened itself out by midway. I think within the first 3 episodes I was mostly worried that it would remain so dramatic throughout and I was having a hard time decifering such a large cast. Of course, the rest of the season was dedicated to fleshing them out, so it all turned out well in the end. By episode 7 I had gotten into it and found the rest to be enjoyable. Being the yuri fan that I am, all the relationships were fun, and for once, these girls are really into girls, lol. I?ve had too many recent experiences where either a character acts gay but then ends up with a guy, or the girl becomes a guy (curse you Simoun!) or simly no relaionships advance. This show was actually about the relationships and nothing else, which was nice (if you haven?t guessed, I?m new to this genre) and I?m glad this show is the one i will ease myself into the genre with. Marimite manages to be dramatic without ever having to be over-the-top or toy with your emotions as a viewer. It?s a story about the characters which doesn?t attempt to involve you. I feel like the blending of lighthearted and dramatic moments was done perfectly, and Yumi?s psyche was especially fun. I love that none of the characters ever is consistently sure of themselves, which lead to some very realistic characters and interactions. I think the last 4-5 episodes werre where I really got sucked in, though. Once you know about all the characters? personalities and such, it becomes not about the past, but the future, and you look forward to what happens next. I think the ending was perfect not only for leading into the next season, but simply because the series ends without drama - just satisfaction and heartwarming smiles. In some ways, it feels like the series won?t leave too much of a lasting impression this way, but I don?t mind. Besides, there?s still a whole season and OVA to watch ^^;;

Yo. i would like a banner for the anime Gankutsuou. The characters I need on it are The Count of Monte Cristo and Here. I'd like a pic of the count smiling devilishly and Here looking peaceful, perhaps with her harp. In fact, it might be cool to have here playing her harp in the background and the Count in the foreground. Hopefully it can capture the rather trippy style of the Gankutsuou anime. I was thinking that it should be rather large, and use darker colors around the count and light around Here, though if that doesn't seem right, then just cold colors would be alright. As for text, the letters shouldn't be too large, but fancy looking. I want it to read 'Bide Your Time and Hold Out Hope' in blue lettering not unlike Here's skin color. Thank you for this in advance :catgirl:
That explains Princess of Blue's lesbian relationships. God, I loved that story... :luv: But in all hosesty, the woman's looks aren't everyting, no matter how beautiful. Unless you're Kelly Clarkson, cause' I'd
do her
no matter how she acted.
I also have prode in my taste in said women. Obviously some people have none >_>

Writing The Chronicles of the Three Elements [PG - M: V, L]
2010DigitalBoy replied to Aberinkula's topic in Creative Works
'Lunar Equinox' was kind of monotonous. You could say I really didn't get it I guess, and overall wasn' interested. The next one was much better, but you used the word 'melt' too much. Don't forget to keep your thesaurus handy ~_^ I thought it was pretty good even if you wore your influences on your sleeve (I will call you out from shelter, burn your wings, you'll know no better)(Even though Ambellina isn't really an angel, so I guess your okay) -
That reminds me, I'm proud of my obession with the female body >_> I could go into very great detail on this statement, but rather than rousing intrigue, I think i'd just get a lot of odd looks.

Crackmonkeys, it's been a long time... I totally skipped over the 3 weeks of El Cielo brainwashing :animesigh Well, if you look at my sig, you can see that I am listening to the new Queens of the Stone Age album right now, and there are some great songs on there. The first three tracks, 'Turnin' on the Screw,' 'Sick Sick Sick', and 'I'm Designer,' are all proably my favorites, though 'Into the Hollow,' 'Make it Wit' Chu,' and 'Suture Up Your Future' are also noteable. The album is very dark and riff-centric and just positively oozing with filth. It's meant to make you feel dirty and it succeeds.

Writing The Chronicles of the Three Elements [PG - M: V, L]

I'm guessing your using 'digging for oil' as a synonym for the war in iraq? Which, from your viewpoint at least, would be digging toward the end of the world or something, right? Interesting, in a way. -

I actually kind of like it, Prem! You definitely used the Claudio style of writing in that you were simultaneously literal and cryptic in your words it seems, though i can't help but feel like you put a little Kingdom Hearts influence into this, lol. As you know, I'm no professional at breaking things down, but my only suggestion is to not use the word 'end' so frequently in stanza one. -

Seen 8 eps of Scrapped Princess so far. Picked up Marimite on the side. As a yuri fan, I've been told this is a must, and after 2 eps, I'm a little unsure of my opinion of it. Definitely will have to watch a few more eps before I can say much about it. Also watched the ****-yes second DVD of Gankutsuou with my brother (currently dying from suspense) which was completely badass as expected. Not enough Peppo, though the count makes up for it with his sheer awesomeness. This show is characters for t3h real. -
Gaming Has anyone heard of "Phantasy Star" ?
2010DigitalBoy replied to Tetra of sound's topic in Noosphere
Oi, to all you PSU players, there's an expansion coming out soon with a lot of great stuff and the next part of story mode. There's a trailer for it on the site with this really weird heavy-rock rendition of the opening theme. -
For the record, FMA, best anime? I think so, anyone else agree?
What's the total number of anime you've seen? Enough to compare it to to really decide it's your favorite? I like FMA, but it has it's up and downs. Probably the best dub ever though.
