Okay,I've decided to close the sign-ups now. I know i said it would be 7 days from now, but I've got enough great sign-ups already. Mind you, the sign-ups I accepted were based purely on wether I like the characters or not. If you don't think it's fair or you want to complain, you can contact me, but I'm just going to yell at you :p Accepted: Clurr as Julian Amery Wet Cement as Levon LeVaughn Fyxe as Shayla L'mei Caoimhe as Dustin Aimee Johnson Hell'sMinion6676 as Dante Wilenson Darren as Chloe Verena Premonition as Thomas Arthur indifference as Vanyel Ashkevron Jiazu as Chora S.
Pwn pts. +1. Mod rod absent, -1. Total score for digitalboy: 0. :D
That wasn't play modding, that was advice between good friends :p Anyway, prem, if you looked like that picture you posted, I would hunt you down and put a gaping scar from your face running down to your stomach  *disappears* -

the mechanical big apple was choking with worms that squirmed and squirmed slobbering greed green trees money like snakes slithering like a Johnny Mechanical Appleseed Murdering up some monotony Planting it for you and me There it lays The grave of mechanical animals the endless circuitry the id skinner box tragedy the xerox fax facsimile of the hypocrisy
These are the parts of the poem i enjoyed. The first stanza I thought was awesome - you've got some sweet metaphors and similes there. For that second highlighted stanza, you can see i got rid of the Jesus line simply because it's played out. In fact, that's how I felt abot a lot of this poem - crap I've heard before. However, the other 3 lines in that stanza are awesome, and when placed after the first stanza fits perfectly. Those 2 stanzas alone would have made a great poem. The third one is unrelated in comparison, but I highlighted it because it was interesting. Sounds like something i'd hear in At the Drive-In song. As for phrasing in this one, one line in particular stood out
to rotten it to death
Ewwwww.... That sounds like some form of Engrish. My revision of that stanza would be like... wriggling monetary plague wrought with insect of zealotry envelope it in a moment eat away and leave it empty or something like that. So, if I were to revise your poem, it would be constrained to a flowing metaphor, rather than be all over the place with comparisons. I think it would look like this The mechanical big apple was choking with worms that squirmed and squirmed, slobbering greed green trees; money like snakes slithering, wriggling monetary plague wrought with insects of zealotry envelope it in a moment; they eat away and leave it empty like a Johnny Mechanical Appleseed Murdering up some monotony And planting it for you and me

sounds to me like a Tool song or something - I like to imagine that the huge breaks in verse are where long musical interludes took place :p In any event, based just on subject matter (lets completely ignore mechanics in your works from now on, since i doubt you care about the system) I found it interesting. The mosquito metaphor is pretty cool; I'd be lying if I said I understood every word you used in this poem - there are some that I need to really get out a dictionary here for >_< I think in one or two places your phrasing could have been better. 'to make it itch fear' for example just doesn't flow well. Maybe 'and leaves the itch of fear' or something like that could have worked a little better. The boogie nature of your work makes it hard to critique, cuz I don't know what you're looking for. You don't seem to care about structure, and your subject matter is absolute - there's no real way to give you advice >_< is there anywhere you want it in?

Discuss The Panopticon Underground [M-LSV]
2010DigitalBoy replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
Okay, so i'm having a hard time on how to decide the way the last round should be played. Because it happens that ther are 5 characters now remaining, there can only be 4 death cards, logically. Now, initially i thought this would be a boring way to end the game, so instead I was going to come up with some more complicated system for decision, but I think that would be wrong. You guys have been playing along with the death card game and it should be a death card game till the end. i wasn't around for the labyrinth, so i don't know about getting rid of people in that, but the reaon i didn't want to deprive anyone of their death cards is because I wanted all 6 to be able to have fun in the last round. The way I figure, though, everyone's going to have fun, regardless. As you guys said before, I'm the host, and I need to be responsible. The plans I concoct aren't always best for the game, and I often try to force my storyline on others. That's not right -- it's yall's game. With the latest post in the main thread, it almost looks like that as well, but actualy that's what makes this last round so great. Basically, with the ghost machine system it works like the room system with slight differences. Rather than going through a door into the next area, the next area will simply suddenly appear. With the place Brittany is at, i wanted to give an example of one major point of this round - a lot of the rooms are missing a key component. In this case, there was obviously no trap. Some rooms may have no way out or the way of deactiviating the trap may be inactive. The amount of time they are trapped in each room is up to you as well. So basically, it's not that different from the rest of the game, just with a new layer of difficulty. Adding onto that, there's no definitive order to the groups, either It is perfectly possible that two people can be staning next to each other, only to both be swept up by seperate ghosts. Whether people remain reletavely grouped up or end up all over the place is up to you. They cannot return to the infinite blackness - now that they are in a ghost, the only thing that can remove them is another ghost. Naturally, one of these ghosts is the exit. As for the death cards, this was a difficult decision to make. In light of the fact that she has no remaining characters and that she won't be able to post for a few days, SunfallE will not be receiving a death card, and has officially lost the game. I am infinitely sorry. As for the other death card, there was a drawing, and Sandy will not be receiving a death card this round. He can still post, and he can still win, but he canot kill. This round, the killings will start after each remaining player has posted. When there is only one player left, the ending will be delivered. EDIT: I called Sandy she >_ -
Funny you should dediccate it to me, since I absolutely loved it :p That was damn beautiful Copycatalyst (since I guess you aren't going by Mitch). I can't help but notice you use snails and turtles a lot - I'm guessing because of their shells. I almost feel bad about understanding this one >_< Like I played into your hands XD

Chapter Four: The Final Cut Etamet, Delita, and Brittany watched blankly as the clones in the red tubes burned. ?I guess we leave the way we came in,? Delita sighed. She smiled faintly, though, at Etamet. ?Glad to have you back.? As long as this body had all of Etamet?s memories, it was him in every essence. His death had weighed the heaviest on Delita?s shoulders - if she could save him now, maybe she could die happily. The smile faded, though. How can I possibly save them? *** Inertiatic ESP continued to turn. God in his heaven? The onlooker had disappeared? Cicatriz ESP had disappeared? The failsafe programs were shutting down? All is right with the world? The structure had fallen apart? So what purpose does it serve? The Panopticon froze. Inertiatic ESP and the Panopticon separated into two separate entities. Without any thoughts except of it?s own fallacy, Inertiatic ESP twisted off into nothingness. It?s very core imploded, and the system tumbled in on itself. The Panopticon - the eternal onlooker - both were now real. *** Delita could not have known that she was no longer the eternal onlooker. Her mind had become human - even with her heightened abilities and knowledge far greater than that of any being, she had adopted a soul. No longer was she a program - she was a human being with emotions and everything. But she couldn?t know this. She still thought her connection to the system existed - she didn?t even realize that Inertiatic had been destroyed - which was why she couldn?t have anticipated the Purgatory Battery Release. *** ?Delita?? Brittany asked. Delita was still looking at Etamet, but her face was transforming. It began as a smile, but the smile quickly sank and her expression became more and more distant and sorrowful. Oblivious to the surroundings, Delita had pulled back deep into her mind. Etamet wasn?t sure what to make of it, but Brittany had become worried. Plenty of those who died had seemed perfectly fine until suddenly their brain wasn?t even operating anymore. Tears began to flow down Delita?s face. I can?t do anything. I?m pathetic. I can?t save anyone. Her mouth opened and a small squeak came out as she began to cry. Delita fell to her knees. Brittany rushed over to comfort her immediately. ?Delita! Are you okay?? Delita?s head meekly raised to eye level with Brittany. ?How will I be able to save you?? Etamet stepped forward now, offering his hand to Delita. Questioningly she took hold of it and let Etamet pull her to her feet. Brittany rose as well. ?It?s not on your shoulders. We weren?t meant to rely on anyone for survival, and you were not to be responsible for our survival. With three of us left we have no time to feel sorry for ourselves. We need to get out of here now, so come on.? Delita considered the words. He was obviously right - Delita finally realized it. Her human heart had interfered with her reasoning - the Eternal Onlooker knew that she must have been human now. Delita sniffed and wiped her tears away with her sleeve, wearing a whole new, determined face. ?Let?s go,? she said, looking ahead, and even boldly strode out to lead the group. When she reached the place where they?d entered, though, there was no longer a door. ?Figures?? The trio began searching down the room for an alternate exit, trying their hardest not to look at the giant canisters full of blood. The shrill sound of a siren cut the atmosphere and a voice came from above. Purgatory Battery Release initiated. I repeat, Purgatory Battery Release initiated. Inertiatic ESP system offline. All power switch to Panopticon main generators. ?SHIT!!!? Delita cried over the sirens. The others were looking about frantically and turned toward her. ?What does it mean?!? Etamet called, straining his voice to reach over the screeching sirens. Delita either didn?t hear him or wasn?t paying attention, because she was going on about something else. ?Can?t be right!? the system!? she was trying to yell over the siren and voice but Etamet could only pick up portions of her sentence. ?I can?t hear you!? he called. Delita?s face was one of total distress. She launched herself into Etamet?s chest and hugged tight to him, crying her eyes out in fear and panic. This was what it meant to be human - this uncertainty - this weakness - this reliance on others. The fear of death - the longing to survive. Finally she understood the purpose of all this. The perfection that had been lost was in fact the flaw. The weakness and desire to survive was what gave humans the will to live - without it they had all disappeared. In a future where living beings were reduced to strict knowledge they could have never understood. The answer that they had always searched for had been played out in front of them a thousand, million, billion, infinite number of times. Emotions - that was the answer that Inertiatic had searched so long to find. Delita understood it all! She felt these things flowing through every inch of her being! It poured out of her from her eyes and from her nose and mouth as she wailed and cried in humanity?s chest. This is what it meant!!! ?DELITA! WHAT?S GOING ON?!? Brittany hollered, but her answer came before she could think. The entire ground of the room cracked and popped into large chunks which immediately began sinking into the blackness below. Delita and Etamet were falling on a different piece of land from Brittany. Etamet?s shock had to be ignored for now; he pulled Delita tighter into his chest as the platform turned completely vertical and the two were freefalling into the blackness. Brittany?s platform remained vertical at a slant and she laid flat on it, screaming as the rock plummeted. Above, she could see the massive blood-filled canisters falling as well. One of them landed on another of the platforms, crashed, and burst, sending it?s contents flying about. A splash of blood smacked onto Brittany?s torso and a charred head flew through the air, landing between her legs. Brittany?s scream was interrupted as she turned her head down to face what had landed on her. Oromis stared back at her with dead, blank eyes and a burnt face. Brittany screamed so hard that she fell unconscious. Her body started to float off the surface of the rock under her. Meanwhile, Etamet was still holding tight to Delita, his thoughts racing. The plummet seemed to go on forever - he couldn?t even perceive worry or think what could happen. Barely audible over the rush of wind encompassing them, Etamet could hear Delita still bawling like a child. Minutes passed. Finally there came a point where the sound of wind suddenly stopped. In fact, there was no sound at all except for Delita?s sobs. Etamet took a moment to realize it, but they were no longer falling - they were only gliding along through the black nothingness. He found he could move his limb - he turned himself and his passenger into an upright position. He glanced about and couldn?t see any rocks or rubble - above, there was nothing. Logically, he shouldn?t have even been able to see himself - and yet he could see himself and Delita just fine, as if they were standing in the sunlight. It was as if their bodies were radiating color. It no longer felt like they were falling at all, and yet there was no ground for Etamet to place his feet on. It was surely the most peculiar of feelings. Brittany didn?t seem to be anywhere, but then it could have been that she was merely impossible to see in this space. She could have been laying just a small distance from him, and yet she could have been miles away, or even still falling through the infinite darkness. His mind was pulled away as he felt Delita?s arms fall limp from his torso. His vision turned to his companion. ?Do you know what?s going on?? he asked. Delita wiped the tears from her eyes once more with her sleeve and folded her legs to sit down - only instead of falling, she remained at Etamet?s eye level, pulling her legs up to reach her. ?Purgatory,? she responded meekly. ?Those who have sinned are cleansed.? ?So we?re dead then? Is that why Brittany-? ?No. She?s here too. This isn?t God?s purgatory - we are still in the Panopticon.? Etamet remained silent, awaiting further explanation. ?I told you before, that the Panopticon was created from the remnants of the Maze, who?s goal was to figure out how to save the beings of the universe before they all disappeared. Obviously, since this machine has operated indefinitely, it never found the answer. The answer?s been here all along, but it was something that a computer could never understand. Even those who survive have only just been sent back to their life - there is no purpose to this perpetual onslaught. That?s why I wanted to get rid of it. I?m glad I got to become human? even if I couldn?t destroy the Panopticon? I?m happy just to have lived once.? Etamet placed his hand on Delita?s shoulder and stared directly into her eyes. Delita had the feeling like he was speaking to her very soul. ?No,? he began. ?You have not lived truly. To live is to experience all that there is to be human. It is too early for you to give up. Not until you have lived truly.? *** Brittany woke up to find herself nowhere. The place she exited was nothing but an abyss of black. Could this be hell? *** ?This is the true form of the Panopticon. Without the computer to control it, it is just an existence.? ?Inertiatic must have died as well. My bet is it found itself flawed and destroyed itself. How like a system of perfection.? ?It?s not that we are trapped here. I knew from before that we might be getting close when we were able to create with our minds, but I never would have thought I?d actually experience this.? ?Being that I?m no longer a part of the Panopticon, I don?t even know what to do here. I don?t know the possibilities. This vast emptiness is all that should remain, though logically there could be any ghost in the machine.? ?Most likely, we are going to die here.? *** Brittany didn?t know what to do. She was left alone with her thoughts. It was all she could do trying not to go insane. The thoughts of Oromis returned. She couldn?t save him? she killed him? SHE KILLED HIM!!! --- Murderer? murderer? murderer? murderer? MuRdErEr? MURdErEr? MURDERER!!!! --- MURDERER!!!!!!!! --- Brittany couldn?t keep track of the hours, but she knew she?d slept once. She?d regained her focus, and her thoughts made sense again. She wished the tears weren?t dried to her face, but she was ignoring it for now. It was all she could do trying not to go insane. --- Etamet and Delita continued to stew in silence. For a while they?d swum around investigating, making sure to stay together, but the emptiness made it impossible to tell what was what; If they?d actually traveled at all. They were alone and in an emptiness that ate at their very soul. --- Brittany couldn?t keep track of the hours, but she knew she?d slept once. . She wished the tears weren?t dried to her legs, but she was far beyond giving second thought to that. It was all she could do trying not to go insane. --- ??I closed her eyes and gave her one last kiss. I will always remember the feeling as she breathed her last time into my lips. The memory lives with me every waking moment? I continue to live on with her inside of me and inside of our child who has grown into a fine young man. I remember the first hunt he was a part of. He thrust his spear with all his spirit. He was an adult, I knew. The maturity, the decisiveness? this was not the curiosity of a child. Nothing is more prideful then to have raised a son to become a man.? ?Pride? I?ve never felt that before? what?s it like?? ?? it?s? a feeling of accomplishment. When one knows they have succeeded, and look back with admiration upon what they have done. Pride can be very dangerous if it is misguided, but if one lacks any pride, they can never enjoy the things they have done.? ?I see? do you think I?ll ever have a son, Etamet?? ?It is unknown. Whether one is blessed with a son or daughter is not a decision of oneself. It is a gift of nature - the universe itself bringing it?s blessing upon you.? ?You?re a very wise man, aren?t you, Etamet? I always thought I was an entity of vast knowledge, though I guess I honestly know very little about how to feel. I?m glad to have met someone like you.? ?Were it not in such a way, I would say that I would have been happy to have conversed with you. If we make it out of here, my people will accept you with us.? --- Brittany couldn?t keep track of the hours, but she knew she?d slept once. She wished her skin didn?t feel so dry, but she tried to ignore it. It was all she could do trying not to go insane. --- Using the bathroom had been a nit of a strange experience. Delita didn?t even know to be embarrassed, but Etamet couldn?t conceive the thought of doing such in front of a woman. Though Delita always promised she wasn?t looking, she?d honestly snuck a peek once or twice. She?d seen it plenty of times before, though for seem reason her curiosity would always get to her and she?d want to look. ?Etamet, will you have sex with me?? ?No.? The amount of finalization in his tone blocked any hope of rebuttal. Delita turned away into her thoughts. There was a bit of silence before Delita suddenly began removing her clothes. ?I said no,? Etamet immediately retorted, but Delita kept on. ?I know, and I don?t expect you to change your mind, so I?m just going to play around.? Etamet?s face took on a bit of embarrassment that he had never shown before. At this, Delita giggled. ?You don?t have to watch.? ?I?d prefer not to hear, either.? ?Just ignore it, then. If we?re stuck here, I at least want to have my time with this body?? as she said this, she was fumbling around with her bra, figuring out how to unhinge it. The clothes she?d removed seemed to float about just behind her. When she got it right, she pulled away the straps revealing her breasts. Where Etamet came from, the women bore their chests regularly, so this was nothing tantalizing, but when the girl removed her panties, he had to turn around. ?Oh!? Delita exclaimed. Etamet?s head sank. Please let something happen? --- Brittany couldn?t keep track of the hours, but she knew she?d slept twice. She no longer suffered from torturous thoughts; all that she could think about was how bored she was. In a fit of madness she?d torn apart her clothes, them being the only thing around to interact with. She couldn?t keep track of her mood. She?d been depressed at parts, bursting into tears and throwing a fit, but it couldn?t hold. The mundane atmosphere was unlike anything she?d ever experienced. She recounted her entire life. At some time she even began creating a story in her head. She found entertainment in things never to be found such. The fact that anything could float was interesting. Even when she urinated the liquid would only float away slowly. Without even thinking about it, she started doing all sorts of strange things that she was sure no one in life would find acceptable or at least probable. She wondered why life had so many boundaries and such normalcy. --- There was a resonation. At first Brittany thought she was just hearing things - that she?d gone insane long ago, but it persisted and seemed to be real. It began to grow - no- it was getting closer! The anticipation was enough to make her jittery. She impatiently waited for whatever it was to arrive. VWOOSH! Brittany didn?t know if she?d actually fallen asleep fast or if she had just woken up. She wasn?t laying on nothing anymore - her feet were on solid ground, though the ground was sand and her feet were slightly sunken in. She wondered why her eyes weren?t burning in the bright sun, or why her ears weren?t aching from the sudden rush of noise from the waves crashing on the shore. She wondered why her dry skin didn?t itch as the summer breeze danced across her nude body. Sidestepping the abnormal thoughts, though, she also wondered why there were no people about, or why the sand seemed to go on into the distance behind her as far as she could see. Another gentle wave crashed onto the shore. Brittany turned and walked toward the water. The aftermath of the wave splashed over her feet - it was cold, but not freezing. She continued to walk outward until the water was at her neck. She closed her eyes as a wave of tranquil happiness rushed over her. Brittany took a deep breath and pulled her head underwater. She opened her eyes and looked around in the clear water. Life was all around her - animals of the water swam about in all directions. Brittany gasped in marvel, ignoring her ability to breath underwater or that the surface was no longer just above. She swam about gleefully, laughing and dancing along. She hugged the back of a whale and rode it about. The creatures of the sea paid her no mind - she was absorbed in happiness. --- Delita and Etamet were anticipating the coming of a ghost in the machine as the hum grew ever louder. Delita has dressed herself again, though she had refashioned her shirt into a tank-top and her pants into shorts using an arrowhead Etamet had been keeping with him. The two were standing - or at least they thought they were - and both wore stern expressions as they awaited the coming trial. VWOOSH! What Delita and Etamet had arrived onto was something neither could have perceived had they not been there at that time. Their appearances had been completely altered - the world looked like animation. Their own bodies were no longer realistic - they were drawings, and yet they were alive; and they were standing in a graveyard. The atmosphere was dark and a calm chill drifted about. All around there were freakish-looking crosses jutting from the ground. Dark, fearsome trees rose from the ground all around. In the center stood a massive cross over a pedestal. the Angel of Death himself stood upon it. ?You?re arrived? Delita? Etamet.? ?Who are you?? Etamet inquired. ?I am the one who takes the souls of those who die. I am a part of the Panopticon, though now it would appear I am merely a ghost.? ?Did you retain your power?? The angel smirked and lifted it?s scythe. ?In the time of the Panopticon?s operation, I gathered the souls that did not find rest and sent them to hell. No, I have no longer retained my power, and the souls that have not found rest are still active as of yet. Would you like me to show you? There remain only a few?? ?Show us!? Delita answered hastily. For some reason, she was filling with hope. --- Oromis Tu?wail, Katar Dakit, Delilah Rousseau, and Mary Winters all stood before Delita. Their bodies were translucent and glowing blue, and they appeared to be unconscious, though all were physically perfectly fine. Delita stared on in ardor at the three bodies before her. She raised her hand slowly and placed in on Mary?s cheek, rubbing it gently. ?Beautiful?? she whispered. Two trails of tears streamed down her face as she looked from Mary on to the other two. Of course she recognized Oromis and was filled with joy. She turned to the reaper. ?Can you?? He nodded. A broad smile spread across Delita?s face as she gazed once more at the three. ?I warn you,? the reaper continued, ?these are spirits of unrest. They may be unstable. The one I the center - he?s likely to kill you on-sight.? As the reaper was explaining this, Delita had placed her hand on Katar's face as well. ?We can?t have that?? she trailed off, ?I suppose you could revive him elsewhere?? ?No. Trust me, it would be easier to simply not grant him life. His sanity is beyond saving.? ?I see?? Delita gazed into the man?s face. Quietly she pressed her lips against his before taking 2 steps back. She looked over at the angel of death and gave a nod. The reaper nodded in return. Raising his scythe above his head, he brought the blade down on the ghostly figure of Katar Dakit, splitting it in half. Both halves evaporated into nothing instantly. Oromis and Mary remained. ?These three then?? Both Delita and Etamet nodded simultaneously. The reaper turned his scythe upside down and closed his eyes. The three forms gradually began taking on human colors and their bodies returned to life. Oromis, Delilah, and Mary opened their eyes onto the strange, animated land and the girl before them crying and smiling. ?Welcome back!?
Looks at the time and at who's online...I see no such thing... :animeangr Okay, I'm not really angry, but I am ready for the next phase to start! Even if I turn out to be the person who doesn't get a death card this round. :animedepr Where are you DB! Oh and Sandy, if you haven't used that card yet, I say we extend it a day and you use it to completely and totally clobber DB!
Okay, i'm in development at this very second, and I happen to be on page 7. I hope you're really prepared, because this is probably the longest ****ing post you'll ever read. EVER. I hope the OB doesn't have a max word count... PS: I know some of you don't like to read long posts... for that i'm sorry... but it was all or nothing, and I had a ton of ideas >_< it ends up being rediculously complicated with an easy resolution... it's like the end of the Eva show, and all that's left will be for yall to make the movie, lol. -
Like, an Announcement announcement? Because it's not showing up for me; I still see Charles' last Otakupedia announcement.
same here. Also, at varying points the boards are loading slowly or simply not loading...

Since this is the youtube thread and not just the senselessly post videos thread, I think it's a good place to talk about youtube itself. Has anyone else taken note of the recent major changes to the site? most of them completely suck! First of all, the little bubble that sat below the search bar is gone. No longer can I cick on my favorites from the main page, i now have to go through my profile. Yes, it's only one more click, but it's annoying as hell! Next, they now have a little 'videos being watched' thing which lines up 5 videos and aters between them. I've been to the site on 3 different computers since they made this addition and it's always been the same crap, so I don't know what the deal with that is. Just makes the site uglier. One thing I do like is the renovated search simplyy beacuse it looks prettier, but the other things are just so annoying... Then we've got the absolute worst thing yet that just started yesterday - unlike before where all the videos in my favorites were in chronological order of being saved, they're now all jumbled up in no apparent logical order. I hope this is fixed, because I know the exact location of every video in my 275 vid favorites and I don't want to have to hunt for them... EDIT: actually, this only seems to happen on certain pages... weird.

i figure this is as good a place as any to ask why all the blue or gray boxes have become xs with text next to them. I'm running IE if that has anything to do with it... EDIT: I had no idea those folders told you how many posts you had in that thread. I'll be sure to try it once they come back lol

I knew you wwere going to reply in such a fashion :p Firslty, let me ask you, do you believe in absolutes? I don't take you for the type, but I think I can say that your post belays such. you claim that i am basing my review of your poem on what's right for poetry by popular opinion - I'm not. I am no critic of poetry - this is all my opinion. Your poem is something that you wrote and understand and it is something that has meaning to you. It doesn't have any meaning whatsoever to me. You claim that this is a failure of mine in my lack of ability to understand. I'm saying it is a failure of yours in your inability to portray your thoughts in a way that is understandable. You must consider your audience in poetry - I'm sure there's someone else who would be glad to dissect your work and find all the little carefully developed meanings (if they are in fact such) but if those aren't the people you're talking to, those aren't the poems you display. If you're going to post your work in a place, then that place will be your judge. You can't work in a chocolae factory and make a hard candy, claiming that the people making chocolate are blind and cant see that hard candy is the real answer. Long as you are here, you are subject to here's opinions and there's no point in going against the judgement of here when here is where you chose to display your work.

Mitch, I wonder if you loose yourself in writing such a long poem. I can see that you're following a chain of thought and it seems like you fall around in an off-topic sense where by the end I'm not even reading the same thing anymore. I mean, the whole thing falls under the category of rebellion, but it's the sort of rebellion that seems to just stab aimlessly at the things controlling it without plans of it's own or concise concept of what it's stabbing. not to say these aren't things you know, but they are not represented in this work. Also, in some places it almost feels like you're pulling phrases out of your hat. This might not be a problem were it not that sometimes you do use weird crap, and other times you don't at all. Also, you bring more and more points in that build on top of each other but don't flow throughout. For instance, near the end you start to talk about things in regards to nature and the lack of attention of people's minds whereas earlier you were talking about yourself and how things relate to you - it's kind of changing the subject. Mitch, I know you're a great poet, and you've written some great stuff, and really, you should be able to do whatever you want, which you appear to do.This poem, though, is severely flawed.
Fluff! Or is it? It's so short and... and cute! It made me giggly. There are rhyme websites? Fun stuff.[/size']
For future reference, you dont have to use the color and size markers on every paragraph. It makes you impossible to quote >_< Anywho, how on earth does the act of drowning come across as cute to you?!?! You did know that said 'gee' and not 'glee' right? 'gee' is a force of gravity...
Version 6:[/url'] Categories now have the word Otaku first. So, instead of, "Series Otaku," the category is known as, "Otaku Series." Also, category names are centered in the headings. Version 6 went through a few changes during its life, including skins and forum structure, but those two things remained the same.
v6 also had that blue pic in the otakupedia thread. I remeber it from when i first joined, and I think there was another one as well. I wasn't around for yellow, though. Looks horrid...

Feeling inspired by the beautiful works of his otaku companions, the digital boy was elated to compose a work of his very own right on the spot. Opening a rhyme website and a thesaurus as well as his imagination, he created this culmination of thought. Heavier Amonst the hues; The blues of the sea; Feeling the weight, My fate, taking me Below the world I'm twirled; I flee Toward divorce With force of gee
I know this is a bit late to say this but I just noticed that 2007DigitalBoy's colors don't match up with Ozy's image. I'm not savvy with artistic stuff so I might be wrong but...yeah. Just thought I'd point that out. Carry on.[/size']
Ah, I can see that now. though Delta's is pretty far off, too. We may be hitting aproblem. Is ther some universal method to color matching we could learn of?
As exciting as all this is, kids, the reason these threads get locked is because it turns into a "You are pretty!" spamfest to appease the insecure or the attention seekers.. That's because Fyxe is a saucy mama and deserves her credit!!! *bows to the moustace* that reminds me of this pic of my brothers and their friends when I drew blue Piere moustaches on them and called them jouque-pierre all day XD.
