Other than that, you guys have done a downright impressive job of surviving, I might say, lol. For this round, as you may have guessed, imprisonments will no longer happen. Don't worry [B]indifference[/B], I've still got something I will be needing your help on ;) Anywho, as far as death cards go, i've got a different deal going on. Once there have been 10 posts in this chapter, you will be allowed to use your death card regardless of wether or not you have used the card I personally issue you. You still cannot use the card and the death card in the same post, but you can use it before or after the death card however you want. i will get the cards out to you shortly. [COLOR=DarkOrange]Alcuin was fighting valiantly against the horde of mechanical spiders, and at this point he was feeling especially good about himself. He had mastered killing these things so well that it had become an art to him. The time that he had been in that place should have affected his body negatively, but the sight of the counter growing ever toward his release had strengthened his spirit. It had been an arduous journey for sure. At first, the battle was harsh and utterly taxing. His fear of spiders had to be overcome in the most painful way. For a minute, at some point, he recalled that they covered his whole body and were stinging him all at once. He burst free in a berserk frenzy and ran screaming for the walls, pounding against them madly, aching all over. For time afterward he ruthlessly smashed away aimlessly at the robotic creatures. As his instincts took over, though, his rage and fear began to subside. He found that he could eliminate them formulaically. Trial and error - the harshest time of learning - was all that he had to use. As the hours continued, and as he tried different methods of defending himself, he found that destroying these things became routine. At times, he was able to destroy them faster than they could respawn, and it offered him a moment?s rest from time to time. At other times, he would mess up his pattern and be caught off-guard. Any one mistake could result in being swarmed. At the point where Alcuin had truly reached maximum proficiency, though, he never made a mistake. He was no longer swinging instinctually or even strategically. He was surviving incredibly. Finally, when the clock struck zero, Alcuin beat the last tiny mechanism flying across the arena, smiling as it?s pieces flew through the air and shimmered in the fluorescent lighting. There was almost no 4th-wall-breaking or WTF?! moments. We see a little character development, though with the one pink-haired girl I think they forgot what she had been like before >_< She wasn't quite so OMG Tsundere earlier. I think my main problem is that with other episodes they crammed tons of action into 22 minutes but with this one it was just one plot. Plus, there wasn't enough Nagi!!![/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]I bought volume 1 with the artbox and special DVD a couple weeks ago. It's a pretty cool series, but I was so tired when I watched it that I kept drifting off during episode 4. In any event, it was a pretty cool watch with some beautiful animation. Now I'm kinda pissed I bought the DVD, though, because staring June 8th, [B]Ergo Proxy[/B] will be airing on [B]Fuse [/B] at midnight. 30 bucks that could have been better spent T_T In any event, I'll be sure to watch it there.[/COLOR]
