Jake: That video earned two 'WTF's and an 'OMG tree hand!' Not a bad song, but the wideo is just strange. Rifles: >_< I couldn't really pay attention cuz I couldn't stand the song... DeathL: Congratulations! that video earns you the Golden WTF Award! That was easily the wierdest thing I've ever seen - and it was set to opera! Brilliant. Cat14: I'm not going to watch all of those, since you didn't provide any links or anything, but I will say this. I Walked With A Zombie song + video = freaking awesome! Video is hilariously bad, and the song is hilariously cheesy but still great. I used to listen to this song all the time while playing Dead Rising. Perfect anthem. Anywho, I might as well provide links to every Tool video ever since they're all that great. And so I did. The videos for both A Favor House Atlantic and Blood Red Summer by Coheed And Cambria are great. Once again, it was the video that got got me interested in the band, lol. It's funny, cuz these are by far the two least special songs on the album... guess everything else was too strange for TV.

Ep 5 time!!! Wow, that OP is even crazier if you don't watch the video @_@ Right off the bat, snsei is now one of my favorite characters! I love the MMO talk -- as an MMO player, MMO talk is wonderful. Plus the mere thought that someone like Konata-chan might be that person I married on Ragnarok -- okay, I'm shutting up now. I love how Tsukasa is so blatantly lazy all the damn time, but no one seems to point it out, lol. *stops* ... YUKATA DESUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!! And Konata-chan is skipping..... :animeshy: Yui-chan = yes. We need more of her! So, is it just me, or has Kagami suddenly turned into kyon? She keeps mentally narrating everything Konata says in the same fashion -- is this meant to be parody? Okay, pause. Electric fan. This has been a kyoani specialty for a long time, if anyone noticed. In both Air and Kanon there has been a scene where a totally freaking awesome-looking digitally animated electric fan was blowing. then, in haruhi, there was the day when it was really hot and they had one set up. now Lucky Star is following suit. It's an electric fan conspiracy, I tell you! lol! Tsukasa keeps saying
balsamic vinegar
at random times! My favorite part about the characters i nthis show is how unbearably realistic they are... *paused* DSSSSSSSSS!!! Also, she's humming haruhi XD Lucky channel was great as usual. I could watch Akira move at 120% all day... I love how serious she looks when she reads the guys card
'I have a happy life playing as female characters.'
brilliant. Am i the only one who doesn't know the song chalaheadchala? Oh well. Hirano Aya sounded great singing it!

:animesmil thank you for creating what I'd say was easily the most fun RP I've ever had on these boards! I felt I'd like to leave my comments below... Interestingly enough, when I first looked at the chart of characters I already knew who I wanted to see prevail. Jennifer Caldis and Samik Specis were already favorites of mine (whod've guessed they were both from the same person?!) and I felt automatically tied to Fredrick Shavask simply because his picture is the main character from Phantasy Star Universe. During this whole game, I found myself getting stumped by character development. I just wanted to make the characters special enough that they wouldn't get killed too soon. Early one it was always a pain since I was reckless and used my death card first and had to watch everyone else kill people off. I treid to post as much as possibly in a way of saying 'look! he's worth saving!' So naturally I immediately tried putting a lot of character into Liam, which is why it pissed me off that he died so simplistically  Dammit! After all that typing, lol! And as for Ambellina, I think I lost track of her just a bit. I wanted to emphasize that her team was supposed to be really strong and prevelant, but it didn't stop her from dying before we ever go to see her powers... Then, of course, there was Deoky XD. What's funny about this is that every single bit of the way he turned out was not how I intended him to be. If I had gotten there quick enough he was going to be someone who teamed up with the others in the interests of escaping, but was really short tempered and might have killed one of them behind the others back (though now we know he did so to quite a few). I would have never guessed him a telepath, and Id've made him a sword-wielder. The minute that first post with him in it was posted, though, I knew I was ******. No one was going to drag that evil bastard through to the end. So in that last part, since I knew that Deoky was going to die basically no matter what, I tried to make the other characters really appealing so that I wouldn't mind who won. If Deoky lost, I wanted Andrew to win the most. He was just a badass like that. I was kind of hoping that it would be the two of them fighting the final battle. The minute I saw Lara dead, I thought to kill Eflair so that Deoky and Andrew's final battle would seem imminant. But wow! Who could've guessed the baby would spring up and tear his ****ing hearts out?! After I read that, I got really mad, especially since Andrew had been killed too. I made good on my promise -- I made sure my last post was completely freaking insane. Honestly, after butchering Clavis, I really did sort of want the kid to escape. I wanted him to carry Eflair right out the door. But then I figured... this would be far more dramatic and beautiful if I cut him in half. And it was. My final post was heavily inspired by X the Movie by the way. I was more than pleased by the ending. I really would have liked to see Eflair win, but as said before, her death was truly moving and a better climax than I ever could've imagined. also, yeah, Davis is going to have one hell of a case of post-traumatic stress over this one :animesigh Also, indifference, this game must've kicked *** for you. Both your guys survived right up till the end, and one even won!

A lot of elitist punks get all prudent every time music videos are good. 'Since when does music get judged by videos?!' they might say. And they're right, music is it's own entity. But lets all admit it -- music videos can be cool as hell sometimes and add another layer to the song. Everyone has a favorite music video (or a few... hundred...) so what are yours? Also, why do you like the video so much? Note that this is NOT an AMV thread. My first pick is Mastodon's video for The Wolf Is Loose. It's a cool littel adventure of a man putting together the pasts of several ghosts and seting them all free. I like the atmosphere, and how the franticness of the man keeps up with the pace of the song. Plus, the guys really cool-looking. So's the bassist :animesmil Then of course there's The Widow by the Mars Volta. Really creepy, sleazy, and overall just a crazy experience. i remember my mom and i watching it in the morning and it got my mom to buy the album, which today is my favorite album ever. Thanks for the great video, TMV! From that same album there's the even cooler video for the super-cut-short version of L'via L'viaquez. you watch.

Gaming Official Jack Thompson Is Crazy Thread
2010DigitalBoy replied to DeadSeraphim's topic in Noosphere
Yep. His mind has officially melted. Wat, did I read the last sentence in that article correclty? did that actually happen? Anyone?! -
that's pretty good, Rach! Your better than you imply for someone who has no experience with poetry. It reminds me of episode 3 of Mushishi... (or chapter 2 of the manga). In any event, I enjoyed it and I found myself imagining someone during the moment of silence at school just going insane, lol. *will edit with stuff when i'm not feeling like crap*
-
Good grief! I get home from school and all of you have already killed someone! But what's worse, my character is dead! :bawl: And now I have to pick between the two that are left and I like both of them. >_< Time to go and kill someone off. EDIT: And now I'm done. All the deaths were so horrible and cruel that I wanted a more noble death this time. Now the question is just who has a character left since neither Davis nor Eflair were mine.
:animesmil That post was absolutely beautiful! A perfect, epic climax to our dreadful story, and now Davis is our sole survivor. now all we need is the message from Rach as to how this whole thing wraps up...

It is one retarded looking coin -- homemade looking to some point, but it's absolutely retarded that we don't even recognize Canada' money -- not to metion that before even taking the opportunity to do a little research on the coin, they've got it under a microscope analyzing it, lol.
-
And I just had more fun than ever I have in one post :animesmil i guess it's up to Aaryana who lives and who dies, then. If Davis is hers, then we're likely in for one hell of an ending, lol.
-
Davis stared down at the ground at where Andrew had been swallowed by the maze. Hiss breathing became uneven -- his mind was shattering again, but this time in a way not quite like before. He fell to his hands and knees and began vomiting profusely as sweat covered his body and his eyes lost focus. His instincts started to take over -- he could feel the world around him channeling within him. Davis was unaware of it, but Deoky?s repeated presence in his head had left remnants of his power behind. A power that a human should never have. Davis stood up slowly. His body was vibrating at such a frequency that his image slid along the background of reality. He looked down at his hand. It was moving at a speed that made it a blur. Davis had abandoned rational thought altogether? he only knew one thing. He was expanding. At this rate, Davis would break apart to cover all of existence. Deoky?s wish to tear him to pieces was coming true, though the result would have Davis? consciousness enveloping the very universe. He would be everywhere but nowhere. All of this was rushed to Davis? attention at once. Slowly he raised his head and standing just a few yards off was Clavis. ?Davis! I?ve finally found you! Listen, I found Deoky dead and?? Clavis suddenly stopped talking and took a battle position. He could see that an unparalleled darkness was rapidly growing in Davis? mind. Davis glanced at him aloofly. He spoke, his voice a distorted echo that seemed to come from all directions to Clavis. ?I think I?m going to die!? Davis called. Clavis knew better - he could see that while Davis was most definitely going to die, he was growing into a catastrophe so immense it would envelope all of space. Immediately, Clavis leapt into the air toward Davis, ready to strike. Davis only glanced upward as his attacker descended. Clavis? fist rammed straight through Davis? head, his feet landing on the scientists shoulders. There was no blood. Clavis was puzzled a second, but then it occurred to him. ?I THINK I?M GOING TO DIE!!!? he could hear Davis screaming once more. The body in which his arm was stuck disappeared -- an after-image. Davis had changed his molecular structure and appeared behind Clavis. The guardian?s eyes opened wide as he turned to see Davis glaring at him with a look of utter dementia. ?DIE WITH ME!? he suddenly called. Davis flew into Clavis at a speed that could not have been imaginable. At that exact moment, Eflair came to the place where she only saw Clavis standing before her. ?Clavis!? she called excitedly, but then she noticed that something was wrong. Clavis was floating a foot off the ground. His eyes were white and he was struggling against himself. A gurgling sound was coming form within his throat. Clavis spread his arms into a mid-air crucifixion. Eflair watched, horrified, as his body was growing wider. Davis was materializing inside of him! Huge tears began to open in Clavis? skin. Every large opening appeared like scissors gliding through paper. Clavis? body was a blood ball floating in midair, his innards and blood flying off in all directions. His head exploded. Next his feet blew off as well as his hands. The rest of his body caved in on itself, like a paper ball being crumpled up. The blood shot out all over the maze and seconds later there was absolutely nothing remaining of Clavis. Eflair was in a greater shock than she had ever known, causing her to stumble back several steps. She was lucky, and this was the only thing which saved her from a trap that had opened just under her. Suddenly her ears were filled with a horrifying shrill scream. ?DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? Davis? voice exploded. Eflair burst into tears. She curled herself into a ball, bawling and screaming. She hated everything. Why had she been thrown into this place?! Why did these people die?! WHY?! Everything was hopeless! She was never going to get out of here alive!!! Suddenly Eflair was lifted into someone?s arms. She opened her eyes slowly to see that a man who looked shockingly like Deoky had lifted her up. The only difference was his flowing blonde hair and emotionless gaze. Lara?s baby! She realized instantly. The child spoke directly into her mind. We must hurry! Immediately the man leapt into the aria carrying her and began jumping across platforms frantically, dodging traps, weaving in and out of areas, searching for an exit he knew had to exist. He knew that she wanted to get out. He only needed to get her out. No matter where they were, Davis? horrifying wails echoed throughout. Eflair clung tightly to the man who was rescuing her. She remembered that she had only just delivered him. He needed a name? ?I understand,? the man said, having peered into her mind. He had seen everything -- her entire life before and up until this point. ?So that is why you wish to leave this place. I understand everything that?s happening now. I promise I will get you out of here.? another scream pierced the air. ?Thank you? Clavis?? Suddenly, Davis materialized on the platform the two were about to land. Clavis was taken by surprise and quickly looked down to Eflair in his arms. ?Get ready!? He yelled. He quickly threw her through the air, landing her on the next platform above. Eflair didn?t look back to see if Clavis survived. She needed to find the exit she continued leaping from platform to platform, avoiding the traps with expert precision. Her mind had gathered all the power of her very soul together. It was her final run. Clavis was falling directly toward where Davis had appeared. He was determined. He arced his arm in a devastating blow, but Davis disappeared into the air just before it connected. Clavis spun around in time to jump back and avoid the spot where Davis tore the air in half in a devastating strike. Clavis attacked once more, though Davis blocked in the knick of time. Davis was no fighter, though, and had underestimated the strength of his opponent. His left arm was torn clean off, blood erupting from the wound instantly. ?GYAAAA!!!? Davis screamed in pain. Clavis immediately followed up by delivering a fierce kick that drove directly into Davis? chest. Davis was blown back. Were it not for his insane powers, his ribs would have been shattered. Clavis jumped into the air once more to deliver the final blow, but Davis was too quick. He tore space itself where his opponent was falling upon him and Clavis? body was torn in half at the waist, his arms severed in midair. Clavis was conscious as the top half of his body fell from the platform and off into the depths of the maze as he fell his final thoughts drifted through his mind. So this is what it means? to live? and to die? mother? father? I am coming.

Art It's Quiet Here... [Suggestions?]
2010DigitalBoy replied to Retribution's topic in Creative Works
After a while of posting art with zero to two replies, it sort of just gets boring. No one wants to create a thread that will get nothing in reply, and no one here is probably passionate about art to not care. Forums are made for discussion.
Precisely. I mean, I have plenty of art I'd like to share, but the last thing I posted got zero replies, so I'm not going to bother posting again. I'll take it to some other forum and get ample replies, lol. -
To be technical, people like DB are the reason. People who think they're powerless. People who think democracy is a useless enterprise. People who think protest bears no fruit. I mean, if you want to play semantics, I never mentioned his age in my opening post... I just criticized his mentality. And really, that's the biggest thing about it. I don't care if he's 10 or 50, apathy towards the government is a horrible thing. I never said it was his fault. I said that silence is a tacit affirmation to the government that they're doing things right. And in that respect, I guess anyone who didn't say "Hey, why invade Iraq?" is at least in part to blame. The threat of unpopularity should not deter anyone. Again, I point to the Civil Rights Movement and the protesters who utterly disregarded their personal wellbeing to protest. If we are afraid of being hated or hurt, then why bother standing for your opinion? Very true, but that doesn't excuse people to just take the path of least resistance. Perhaps I mean to capture the spirit of civil disobedience and I'm just not communicating that well enough?
First of all, did you even read my last post? And second, holy crap, where the hell have you even been the course of this 'war'?!
-
Responses to responses 1. Yes, you read it right. now see, the key to this poem is that it is meant to be sort of a message to my little brother. You see, my brother always sits around begging me to think of what to do because both of us sit around all day for the most part. I can't stand it -- why do you rely on me?! I'm just another you, I don't know what to do! -- and it's like, he doesn't know it, but I spend all my time climbing into an endless hole, and i'm going wihout him. 2. >_> What you got against the word mulched? Admittedly, this isn;t my favorite of my works, mostly for the first stanza. 3. Yes... anger... must be a punk song, gotta make it a punk song... to F-H: i agree with DK entirely XD
-
Well, let me say two things, either of which is a reason for the same thing. One, is that I feel really torn about this. You see, I used to be the kind of person who was uproarious and strongly believing. I was the guy yelling 'down with bush!' and stuff. but what's this? What are us rebels even doing? I mean, we don't even know what we're fighting against. there's so much underlying ******** and so many secrets, I mean how do we proceed? It's not like there's organized resistence or something, or at least not a big enough one to make a difference. Not to mention half the little bastards complaining about Bush are just being fashionable. The minute it was cool to make fun of Bush, people were all over it. Two, when I look around me i see people who don't give a ****. No matter how well-versed I've made myself in politics, it's never helped me in life. It's never made me money or friends, it's never got me forward in society, and that rebellious pride i was so fond of was washed away when I had to watch people who have no idea what they're talk about feel important for being outspoken. Not to mention I've been yelled at so many times by other kids my age just for having the standpoint I do. People think I'M stupid because I think that, you know, just maybe there's a massive conspiracy right in front of our freaking eyes. That kind of drama is too much for a person as depressed as i am. I don't need worrying about politics to be another straw on my back. And really, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. I'm about 2 steps away from being the guy with a sign around my neck saying 'The End is Near.' As far as I'm concerned, the world is gunna end within the next 6 years, and then i'm ****ing done with all this stuff. I plan to worry as little as possible about things that don't effec me during that time.

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread
2010DigitalBoy replied to Charles's topic in General Discussion
And I have! Looking through the suggestions, there was only one that I could remember being a part of (albeit a small one). After some research, I comprised this article of the Today's Poem thread. Today's Poem Today?s Poem was a massive thread in the OB Anthology started by Heaven?s cloud. The concept was simple.
Well I am going to post a daily poem in this thread, either one that I write off of the top of my head or one that I find relevant to my current mood. Please use this thread to post in a similar style, and if you comment on a poem, please also post a poem, even if you don't feel that it is good.
The thread took off, and everyone posted their poems of varying length (some a single stanza, some massive page-eaters.) and generally enjoyed themselves. Neuvoxraiha, Heaven?s Cloud, and RicoTranzig dominated most of the early life of the thread. Somewhere around the 8th page, Spikey joined in a lot as well. By the time the thread was around page 15, many more contributors began pouring in, from newbies to OB legendaries. Poetic mastermind Mitch also became a major contributor around this point. It wasn?t long before everyone and their mother was posting in this thread, though the previously mentioned members continued to dominate for the most part. Near the end, Dagger also became one of the major posters. The key element of this thread was openness to anything. Participants could post their own poems, or poems from other authors that they enjoyed, or song lyrics, or whatever they wanted. The skill of the writer was not a concern, and everyone simply had fun reading each-others poems. The thread died on April 14th 2004 with a whopping 65 pages. There was brief attempt at revival, but the thread was uncured. Newer versions of this concept have been used, such as Deathknight?s recently created Community Anthology Thread, though nothing ever came close to reaching the popularity of Heaven?s Cloud?s thread until 55 Fiction some time later. --- I'm not sure if that last bit is right, but that's how i remember it. -
Oddly enough, i was about to do a part similar to yours, but you beat me to it, lol. Guess i'll take the next one... Also - that's 2 for keeping the baby out of it. >_< dammit, Rach, I need answers! I don't know what to do with Andrew!
-
As the person who birthed the baby, I thought of it more as an 'item', if you will, than a character. It's fate would be decided by the game itself -- by the maze, if you will. I think it'd be a waste to make him a death-card death. After all, in that case, i doubt anyone would waste their death card on the baby, and it would live no matter what, meanwhile making it open to killing means it has an equal chance.
-
Also, it looks like 2007DigitalBoy is setting things up for both Eflair and Lara to be the first to die, telling me that those two are most likely
not his hidden character. [/spoiler'] :p And I agree, it's time for a glorious all out battle!
I assure you, I would never go through the trouble of fleshing out a character only to have them die first. If anything, I'll be pissed that they do, lol. Mostly, I wanted to level the playing field. We know a lot about Deoky, Clavis, and Alden, as well as a little bit about Andrew and Davis. Eflair and Lara, aside from not having much of an active role before, we knew nothing about. I know that I, personally, have a penchant fo rkilling the less developed characters, so I figured I'd even it out -- not to mention both are the weakest characters so their background had to have a little weight to it. Of course, for all you know, one of them was my attemot at garnering sympathy... :p Besides, I also left Davis on the verge of suicide and Alden completely unconcious with his balls melted off. I loved writing that part XD!
-
As is tradition, I shall do my reviews of episode 4 while wathcing. Starting off, when kagami hears Koneta talking about not taking her books home I love how she goes
'oh, that's right!' then her tone completely changes and she's like 'that's not called being diligent!'
Oddly enough, when they metnion Miyuki, i rarely remember who they're talking about. She just leaves no impression on me, lol. Also, I can relate to the lack of desire to do homework... in fact I have some backed up i should be doing now... ZOMG!
Kanon reference! It made me laugh, but them my strep throat started aching, so i stopped! i love the music they played there! The teacher plays MMOs!
hey! Konata's a fellow mouth-breather! as made evident by the throat condition bothering me right now, so am I, lol
'we're baking cookies' ... 'I'll go'
XD Also, *pauses*, I love how the girls all have great fashion sense. It's nice to see charachters who's clothes actually change, especially when they've got style. Especially Kagami -- don't get me wrong, Konata's cuter, but I just love the stuff Kagami wears. (yes, I pay close atention to this stuff) LOL!
Haruhi armband! And now I regret not having seen 'to heart' if for no reason other than to get the reference.
Konata making fun of Kagami was hilarious,
especially her Shin-chan impersonation. I love how she says 'Kagamin' and puts so much purpose on the 'n' sound.
The way the girls explain stuff is great, like when it shows Kagami on that show behind the screen. BTW, is this a common thing in Japan, or a Death Note reference? I can't help but love the posters in Konata's room. When it comes to detail, KyoAni never disappoints. Also, the flame war bit was great. Okay, WTF was with the cut to that comic-book-esque guy smoking a cigarette for a split second?! And Kagami has one of the evil teddy bears!!! *paused* I'm sorry, Kagami's face is just too adorable. Every time she appears I want to pich har cheeks Especially when sh'e on the phone (also, nice shirt in that scene!) Also 'this is why women are hopeless' XD Best Lucky Channel EVER! The parts where she was breahing all hard and when she was waving her arms made me crack out laughing, but she also made not one, but
TWO TMNT REFERENCES!!!!
Awesome. Maybe best episode yet! Not a dull moment throughout!

1. Slow Country - Gorillaz This is a nice, relaxing little number. It's got a soothing melody and vocal delivery that just makes you wanna chill and sing along. 2. The Velourium Camper II: Backend of Forever - Coheed And Cambria This is actually probably my least favorite Co&Ca song ever. The riff is boring, the song is boring, the lyrics are stupid... just not a good song. 3. Son et Lumiere - The Mars Volta This is one of niftiest intros ever as the poetic opening is simply awesome and it leads straight into Inertiatic ESP -- or it would have if it weren't on scamble. 4. I Don?t Wanna Be Me - Type O Negative One of the first Type O songs I ever heard, also one of their faster songs. Video is freaking hilarous, you go watch! (click!) 5. Cicatriz ESP - The Mars Volta Not the best of De-Loused, but a solid, 12 minute track nonetheless. The chorus is surprisingly catchy. On the live album 'Scabdates' this is 46 minutes long! 6. Cassandra Geminni III - The Mars Volta This is weird. You see, this song comes in 8 parts, and this particular one is only like 2 minutes long. Hearing it on scramble is just kinda like 'WTF'?! 7. The Dream Is Dead - Type O Negative One of the better tracks on Life Is Killing Me. Depressing, but nice. If that makes sense. 8. Punk - Gorillaz I try to see myself what goes on. Make it up my self I never. Always say shut up, I'm fed up. Every time I say what up! (best 1-minute song ever!) 9. The Pot - Tool 10,000 Days is the most disppointing of Tool's albums, and this song is okay, but not particularly brilliant. Wish I could get Lateralus onto this computer... 10. Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt - The Mars Volta Yet another song from the De-Loused album! One of my favorites on there and one of the best choruses ever. 11. I Like Goils - Type O Negative Peter Steele's way of saying 'I'm not gay.' Hilarious. 12. Napoleon Solo - At the Drive-In One of the more boring ATDI songs, and prolly my least faorite from the album. Overall, not a bad band though. 13. The Killing Lights - AFI One of the coolest AFI songs and totally dance-worthy. You cannot not get this stuck in your head at some point after listening to this album. 14. Blood Red Summer - Coheed and Cambria One of ye olde great Coheed singles. An all-around cool, calming song. 15. Vicarious - Tool Once again, not thier best album, and not their best song, though it's still alright. This is what my Rhapsody player gave me. I honestly think it was trying to compensate for the lack of TMV on the other thing, lol! i get the feeling there's less stuff on my Rhapsody then i first thought >_< I'll find a different and more broader method for next time. In the meantime, I;d say this is a good representation of some of my favorite bands... and AFI. Not a favorite, but still a good song.

Lara Servas grew up an average girl in your average low-class family in America, 2050. Her parents ran an antique shop with all kinds of things that were old enough not to be useful, but not old enough to be anything fantastic. Blue Ray DVDs and players, old video game consoles, and all other kinds of useless stuff that collectors were happy to pay ridiculous sums for. Lara had no real passion for antiquities, but her family wasn?t exactly well-off, so she got by mostly with these relics as all she had. Lara was only 17 when her parents died in a gang shooting that they happened to be in the middle of at the wrong time. Lara was forced to become independent. She took the shop over as her own, struggling to maintain it, while battling to survive in the cold streets of downtown New York. By the time she was 20 she?d been assaulted numerous times. The first time, she had been raped. After that, though, she took up martial arts, using the little money she had to buy lessons. The next couple times she was assaulted, she fought back and won, one time actually murdering her pursuer. Lara Servas was a warrior. *** ?Alden!? Lara called. She and Eflair hadn?t gone far when they ran into him again. Alden first thought to ignore the weaklings and move on, but he thought that it might be important so he turned toward them. ?What is it?? He inquired as the two steadily approached. He hadn?t yet noticed Lara?s bulging stomach, and within a few seconds, she was too close for him to notice. Lara pressed her breasts into Alden?s chest, pulled him over, and began kissing him passionately. Well, well! Alden thought, now glad he had stopped for a second. He closed his eyes as he continued to make out with the blonde. He didn?t see the warning flashing on his visor as Lara pulled the gun from behind her waist. FshhhhhhhhhSHAK! The gun cried out and Alden suddenly froze, his eyes rolling back into his head. His cock, along with his testicles, had been melted clean off. Alden fell unconscious instantly from sheer pain. ?Mother fucker!? Lara screamed. She then began wailing on his chest, delivering blow after blow heavily upon him so that when he woke up, he would be in an exuberant amount of pain. She stripped him of all weapons, fashioning them to her belt, then removed his visor, slammed it against the ground, and stomped on it multiple times. After a kick to the head and a nice vomit on his face - one that he deserved most definitely - Lara and the now slightly frightened Eflair continued on. ? It wasn?t long, though, before Lara?s stomach was tossing around, causing her a good deal of pain. She had only noticed how quick her stomach had grown too late, and she didn?t know what to do -- she was in pain. Eflair tried to sooth her with her healing powers, but Lara was being overwhelmed by the fast growth inside of her. Before long, her water broke. ?Ah! No! I? I?m having the baby!? Lara screamed this along with other things angrily as she went into labor at lightning speed. Eflair didn?t know what to do. She knew how to deliver a baby, but Lara?s signals were so mixed that she couldn?t figure out how she was supposed to deal with the situation. All she knew to do was keep Lara steadily healed, but no matter what, the tears wouldn?t stop streaming down the woman?s face. ?KILL ME!!! EFLAIR! KILL ME! PLEASE KILL ME!!!? She called out. Eflair was frightened; what could she do?! Finally she pushed a load of her power into Lara all at once in the equivalent of a massive painkiller that knocked the woman unconscious. Eflair delivered Lara Servas? baby. *** The concept of crime was nearly alien to Eflair Shinshinn J?nea. Her race was one that lived in villages far below the ocean?s surface on the planet Euto, a planet consisting of 80% water and only a couple of landmasses. The l'antranya, Eflair?s people, were a race of all women that led peaceful lives in harmony with nature. They were the largest and most advanced race of Euto. The other people were the land-dwellers who consisted of men and women that, also, were at tune with nature. They were mostly ignorant of the existence of the l'antranya, though the l'antranya had studied them extensively. While Eflair?s people had minor knowledge of other life forms existing on other planets, they never could have known how life was in those places. At this point in her life, Eflair hadn?t even grown to the point of adulthood. In recent years she had been receiving teachings in the healing arts, hoping one day to become a cleric when she came of age. The ceremony of her adulthood had only been months away. Her life was just ahead of her. She had already been betrothed to a wife who she?d grown up with, and her mastery of the healing arts was complete except for her final lesson. Eflair was not going to let her life end before it had ever truly began. This maze had been an experience far beyond anything she?d ever even remotely heard of, but she was determined that she would conquer it and through it, she would become a true adult. She needed to push forward. Lara Servas? baby was in her arms. It was an ugly thing, really. A little yellow ball of flesh, crying and begging for sleep. Eflair used a little of her remaining power to soothe the child and it gradually passed into sleep. Eflair was not going to let this child die, no matter the cost. *** Davis wondered if his life was over. Surely Deoky was right now leaving the maze, having left Davis to slowly die. The swelling of fear and total horror within Davis? mind was overwhelming. He was hopeless - lost - every passing second felt like an eternity of pain. Davis began flailing about, trying to scream, rolling around, losing his mind. He wondered if he should just bite his tongue and drown in his blood. His suffering was eating away at his mind. Davis was tearing himself apart. *** Somewhere off in the distance, Deoky had been lying in wait. He was in a state of ultimate concentration, able to tap into the minds of those within a long distance of himself. He could see Lara lying on the ground, clinging to life. He could hear Davis writhing and screaming, which brought him radiant joy. For some reason, he found Alden to be knocked out. He assumed that he would be dead soon anyway. Lastly he could see Eflair, who seemed an eerie tremulous calm. He could sense another beside her? in infant? Deoky was puzzled by this appearance. He rose to his feet, looking off in the direction where he could see Andrew and Clavis, who?s minds were free from his control. He decided it was time to finish them off. *** ?Here he comes!? Clavis warned his companion. The pair were standing upon one of the tall platforms, from which they could see Deoky purposefully approaching in the distance. Deciding it would be best to not be too close together, they hopped down onto a large platform below. Andrew readied his sword and took a stance. He was going to return home, he knew it. He was worried for Thomas? sake. He wondered if his absence was heartbreaking. But he had to keep those thoughts at bay. Being distracted by thoughts of home would only be fatal. He focused solely on his hatred toward the maze and the demon he was ready to fight. He may not have known these people whom he was teamed with, but their virtuosity had touched him. He was ready to protect them. His life was not at stake here - it was there?s he needed to protect. Andrew was going to walk out of this place alive and alongside his new friends. ?Brace yourself?? he muttered toward the guardian alongside him as Deoky was nearly upon them. Clavis steeled himself for battle. His life was dedicated to protecting the innocent from the forces of darkness. It was his duty to bring these people out alive. Deoky came soaring through the air and landed just before them, taking an attack stance. For a brief moment there was a standstill as the three faced off, then the battle was instantly under way. Andrew and Clavis came at the warlord from both sides, hoping to sandwich him in the middle of their strike, but once more he easily leapt over them and kicked both of them in the back, sending them stumbling forward. Andrew caught himself and spun around, arcing his blade toward Deoky?s head. Deoky ducked under the blade, but Andrew kept with his swing and spun around again, slashing lower this time. Deoky barely managed to jump backward in time and catch footing as Andrew brought his blade backward, then came forward with a stab. Any regular human could never have faced Andrew in a duel. His speed and strength were unmatched, and even Deoky could only just dodge each maneuver, leaving him little room to attack. Not only that, but Clavis was consistently coming at him wherever he ran, sometimes landing fierce blow. Out of pure irritation, Deoky finally grabbed the blade of Andrews sword his next attack, ignoring the pain as it sunk into his fingers. He pulled forward on the blade, but Andrew let go of it so as not to be pulled forward. Deoky tossed the blade aside. Andrew took up a fighting stance, but it was quickly obvious that he would now be on the defensive. In less than a second, though, Clavis threw his massive fist at Deoky?s face. The warlord pushed the arm aside, redirecting Clavis? body in the other direction, but he was unprepared for a fast-approaching backhand by Andrew. Deoky just managed to duck under the attack and spin around, putting him behind the attackers once more, but not soon enough to launch an attack of his own. For a minute the battle raged on like this in a complete stalemate. The only blows being delivered were too minor to constitute any damage. Deoky had the advantage of incredible endurance, though, and before long his attackers were becoming slightly tired. The moment he caught an opening, Deoky managed to land a heavy blow to Andrew?s face, sending him sprawling back. Were he not needing to be ready for Clavis? attack, he could have punched through the man?s skull, but the other attacker was fast on him with a series of kicks, all of which Deoky blocked easily Before landing an intense kick of his own clear into the guardian?s gut. Clavis literally flew backward, landing hard on his back. Andrew rose to his feet, taking a defensive stance as he waited for him comrade to get up, but Deoky did not allow this time. He charged and delivered another monstrous kick to the guardian, lifting his body into the air, then punched him with a force so immense it send him falling from the platform. Clavis soared downward, landing hard on several other surfaces as he plummeted to the floor of the room. Deoky stood in amusement for a moment as he watched the man tumble to the ground, before turning to once again battle Andrew Whitaker, but when he turned, something he didn?t expect was just before him. Andrew had already reclaimed his blade and was now in the air just above Deoky?s head with the blade already coming down. Deoky didn?t have time for anything more than shock. The blade was hurtling toward him. He could feel the very hairs on his neck perk up as the blade nearly touched his skin. A blue light suddenly swallowed Andrew Whitaker just as his blade had begun to connect. Deoky was standing in shock as Eflair suddenly appeared before him, the baby now vanished from her hands, assumedly having been left with Andrew. Eflair was stunned and frightened as the evil one stood just a foot away from her. Deoky?s shock quickly became rage. Andrew must DIE! Eflair was terrified as Deoky shook with anger. He was ready to explode, and she was the only one in sight. Deoky stared at her, his eyes erupting with rage. This was no longer a game. Deoky was done fooling around. He was going to kill them all -- now!!!
Congratulations. People like you are the reason we're still in Iraq. You see, apathy towards government is equivalent to tacit consent to government actions. If you don't speak out against it, then you've also got a blame to shoulder.
Okay. That's bull. I'm sorry, but just because I was born in America and happen to be alive now while this is an issue, I am automatically to blame for it? So your saying that, my uninvolvement IS, in fact, involvement. That i am absolutely on a side, no matter what? That because one person isn't making a difference, he's automatically making things worse? I don't understand this opinion at all. In fact, I'd go so far as to call you an idiot for even having this opinion. I do not consent to the actions of our government, I think I made that pretty clear, but I'm not jumping to me feet to fight a losing battle with the rest of you guys. Your opinion, in fact, has it's own way of putting the said actions above you. Your basically saying that anyone who isn't resistance is a member of the oppression. I don't think that's true, though. The way I see it, the people in the government and the people are against it are two equal opposing sides. The only difference id the influence held by wither side. People who aren't taking sides are opressed by whatever's in control. The people who fight the power, if they won, then they would then be the ones oppressing the middle-grounders. Whether this is good for the middle-grounders or not is a matter of the nature of the conflict, but the innocent people cannot be blamed for anything.
