1.
1. That which is beyond the sense which the eyes perceive, but which is seen with the focused malleability of the mind, which once fashioned in some metallurgy of the will becomes able to see many esoteric and ethersome things. The "best thing," indeed, is something quite hard to give specific description. 2. No. I washed dishes for four years, and recently quit my job to be in a play where my only line was "She was lovely." Oh, and if you're wondering: yes, she was lovely. Every how and why and when of her. All and this and that of her. 3. The masses, huh? Well, I find your pans et circenses to be such a waste of time. Your football is like a reinvented form of the colliseum. Your alcohol is droll and boring, touching on a lesser aspect of consciousness and bringing it into higher expression. Your pre-packaged plastic products sicken me. Your high standards of "morals" are laughable. Your hypocrisy is astoundingly apparent. Now my questions. 1) Who was Socrates? (research if necessary) 2) What is Leary's 8-circuit consciousness, and what do you think of it? 3) Do you think the year 2012 holds something interesting?
I need to redeem myself for forgetting the clues, plus these questions interest me. 1. Socrates was a Greek philosopher who said that one needed to question everything. He was put to death for his beliefs. 2. Wikipedia turned up no results on 8-circuit consciousness, but i did find a certain man with the last name Leary who put out books such as "Your Brain Is God" and I figured it must be the same guy. I'd be interested in checking out some of his works, but until I have I can't give a straight answer. 3. I wouldn't be surprised. My dad's really big on the theory that something major will happen, and i think it's quite possible. Unlike many, though, i'm not so sure that humanity is at the climax of it's existence. I think we could surely get worse. All i know is, I'll be pissed if I live that long just for the apocalpse or something to happen. Arright, now I got qs. 1. How do you think you'd react to being shot in the foot? 2. Do you watch actually watch anime, or are you here for the community? 3. What do you think of the internet revolution?
 2. Screw morals, I need a clone. Maybe for once someone can agree with me on something. And knowing myself we'd probably fall in love... I wonder if it's possible to make your clone the opposite gender... Anywho, I see nothing wrong with cloning except that the world is already rediculously overpopulated as it is without clones everywhere.
 3.
1. I remember breaking an NES controller as a youth, I think I was playing Battletoads, I don't accurately remember. Aside from that, I've thrown a few things, but not to the point where they have broken. 2. No, and I hate Shania Twain, so it would never cross my mind to yell out such a thing. XD I've yelled out similar things, though. Like, I've seriously went all "Who wants a body massage?" in GAP Kids at a mall recently. 3. I've never lost a fair fight, but there were times in middle school where I was jumped by several kids for being an atheist. That was fun. :( 1. What's the dumbest thing you've yelled out in public? 2. Ever get burned by fire? How? 3. How'd you find out about your favorite band?
1. GAPING ANAL SEEPAGE. No lie. Used to be my catch phrase. 2. Not that I can remember, but I've gotten burned by cooking equipment and wood. 3. My favorite band, The Mars Volta, was discovered by my mom who absolutely loved the song 'The Widow'. she bought the CD and at first L'via L'viaquez was the only song I had interest in and never listened to the rest. Later on I finally listened to it and thought it was pretty cool, so I got into it. Opened me up to a brand new genre. My other favorite, Tool, had been on my computer for a long time but I'd always ignored it. One day I listened to everything on my RealPlayer and I caught Ænima and thought it was awesome, so I continued listening. as for Coheed and Cambria, I bought their CD completely on a whim and fell in love. (these 3 are tied) EDIT: ARG!! I forgot the Qs!!!
 4. 1. I never complete anything I begin, no matter how much i know i should or have to. Ever since i realized that I didn't have to push myself to the brink of insanity just to survive, I've lost the will to complete things. 2. I'm no good at human interaction. The first: I do not have the same thought processes as most (and I still haven't met anyone with mine, but I suspect they're hiding) The second: Having been left out of the loop my entire life, I have never been good with topics. The third: Overly sarcastic. I can't help but push my point sometimes, although this rarely hapens with people I really like. 3. No dedication. (cept in relationships) 4. I suck at math.
 5. *mumbling 'not going to play mod' over and over to self* New #1! The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - What takes off as a comedy and weaves itself an intricate and fulfilling plot is my new #1 favorite anime of all time, Haruhi Suzumiya. The best word I could use to describe this anime is fun. There was never an 'episode I didn't like' or a part that was 'boring', it was all pure gold. The escapades of the SOS Brigade were sometimes interesting, sometimes hilarious, and sometimes just plain cool. All the characters were well-represnted and cool and loveable. i can't even think of a background character I didn't like.
 6. Everyone is the protagonist of their own story. My question is, who's your antagonist, or what are you trying to accomplish? Is it internal or external? Let's hear about it. I hate that I have to go first, cuz mine is so lame, but it's an internal conflict. My antagonist is my own self and I'm trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. Nothing I'm doing now is satisfying, so I need to figure out what is.
 7. Arlight, Unearth is a Hardcore/Metal band with a heavy style and a lot of non-throaty screaming. Despite being not very much my style at all, I actually think these guys rock pretty hard. I don't own any of their CDs but I'm considering it, so I'd like to hear some of yall's oppinions. Giles is so far my favorite song by them. I like their catchy choruses and riffs.
 8.
Then finding something to stump you stumps you. Well, I guess I should come clean and say I too happen to be a GREAT FANTASTIC THINKER LOL of our generation and spend [strike]tons[/strike] [strike]lots[/strike] [strike]some[/strike] humongous amounts of time pondering the deeper underlying questions in life. Hard out here for a pimplosopher. Gettin' harder every day.
Oh wow, mocking someone as they mock themselves. A double wammy  I apologize if I sound like I take myself too seriously, but honestly my intent was to imply that my skill is actually nonexistant as I have never progressed anything. EDIT (to stay on topic): I suppose I am somewhat a skilled singer. There were a couple times where I was said to be good, and others (from the same judges, even) when I was told I am terrible. I wish I could get a straight answer cuz I really love singing, but if I'm bad then I'll stop.
 9. Everyone's good at something, so what skills do you got? Great artist? writer? Good at your job? Salesman? Know how to punch in combos on your controller faster than you can blink? Tell us here! If I have an excess of any skill, it's thinking. Most of my time is spent pondering the great questions (and falling in and out of stress with it). I'm also great with psychology and understanding the thought process. I'm always looking for something that will stump me (and I'm honestly having a hard time finding it lol). Also, I'm an okay writer. I lack the dedication to write anything and I'm bad at situation calculating (my stories are so boring sometimes...). My writing skill mostly lies in grammer. I say lotsa big words. Other than that, I'm a dry well.
 10. Oh! I think this may be your best work yet!! It's very well-written in my personal opinion, and seems like it'd be very fit to be a Linkin Park song. Once again you take a desolate and dark tone (something very troubling happened in your past involving a relationship, didn't it?) and you do it very well. What impresses me most is that I understood your emotions very well despite having never been in this situation (mine was so much easier lol) I honestly can't think of anything bad to say about this poem. Great work!
 11. I cried when I realized there were no more episodes of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya left to watch. I had been so drawn in over the course of 2 days I never wanted to leave. And now, the next day, I'm still crying over it because Haruhi's backstory made me so sad and I feel the same way as her, but I'm not
god
so I can't do anything about it...
 12. >_< that's a bit TOO unique(this is not actually possible). Good effort though! First off, your poem is absolutely rife with typos ( o, palte, and so forth) and some things make no sense because of it. Please fix this, or at least use spell check in the future. Now, as for the poem itself. I like it. The melancholy nature and general idea behind it are cool, although reading a baseball analogy and using the word melancholy puts me in my happy place with haruhi Suzumiya so I'm half between a giggle and deep, overwhelming sadness. I like your baseball analogy. I like the first stanza. The third stanza, though, seems detached from the rest of the poem. I'd say more, but I have to go, so, to wrap it up, it's okay. Ja matane!
 13. I don't know the first thing about this show except for what I just read, but whoever owns it seems to be pushing it's release a lot as the stock is huge. (looks it up) Geneon, as I thought, and I usually expect good things from them because they own a lot of cool stuff. Animation is something I am not particularly concerned with, but it does sound (and from the cover art, look) good. All that matters is the story. It won't bother me if it's confusing (I always seem to understand them pretty easily which has done nothing but supersize my ego) but if the pacing is bad then it can forget it. I may actually look into this because dark, psychological thrillers are kinda my thing, but I doubt I'll buy the DVDs for a bit of a while (currently striving for Azumanga Daioh and ROD the TV).
 14. I need to go edit my post in my top 5 anime of all time thread because this show definetally belongs in it!!! This could even be the best anime ever!! What other show is this funny while still having a deep, intricate storyline?! What other show can play a first episode full of crazy wacko-ness and horrible MS Paint editing and not even show either of the main characters till the end and still be great?! What other show can go from having an episode where almost nothing happens to the very next one having an epic CG battle so cool your eyes get to big and explode?!?!?! NONE I TELL YOU!!!!! And the episode formatting, while scary, is ingenius! One thing that;s always bothered me about many anime -- how is it that the most eciting things conviniently fall at the end of the story? Why does the climax always outweigh the rest of the story? It's obvious why they do it, but it doesn't make sense!!! In this fashion, the most exciting thing happens
in chronology 4, 5, and 6
but they are dispersed so that you still get a wonderful climax without a non-sense-making story!!! Also, all of this is 100% possible, so it's even more exciting!!! (some people's beliefs contradict this opinion, I don't care!!!)
 15. hiya folks! I am looking for a banner/avi set for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! I want it to have Haruhi and Kyon in the banner and Yuki with her witch hat on for the avi. It'd prefer both to be at max size, and for there to be a focus on bright colors of the yellow-orange variety. Haruhi should look overly enthusiastic about something while Kyon looks mortified. Also, please make it so one of them is not bigger than the other. I would like the words "looking for something out of the ordinary" in there in 12-14 point letters (don't care about font.) Also, do not put my username on it, please. Thanks in advance!
 16. KEEP Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Yay! Someone even more outlandishly severed from reality as myself! I can only imagine the wondrous adventures we could go on along with our group of supernatural friends. Plus who wouldn't want to be roommates with
god
. Chii from Chobits - I love my computer, you're always in the mood. I get so turned on when I turn on you. I love my computer, you never ask for more. You can be my princess, or you can be my
whore
. ==Not including any others based on sexual preference, because Chii is #1== Boogiepop from Boogiepop series - A super-hero / social defender who constantly spouts deep and meaningful quotes for me to sig for years to come? sounds cool! Unfortuanetaly there would be some problems when he isn't surfaced. L from Death Note - "Hey Ryuzaki! you seen my hat?" ... "You entered the house at 12:45 AM and judging by the general nature of your home ritual I'd say you would have naturally been in your room or the ktchen at that time. The twinkie wrapper in the bathroom trash can suggests you were there too." *goes in bathroom* "here it is!" GO AWAY Every character in every 'average shounen manga/anime' ever - You wanna talk about personalities colliding to create a seismic anomaly incinerating the atmosphere? Look here. Asuka Langley Sohryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion - If she treats me like she does Shinji, chances are she'll [MAJOR SPOILER]
get killed the same way

 17. 4. Kino's Journey - I feel strange putting this on my list as opposed to the very similar King of Bandits Jing because I only saw this recently and I've had Jing for years, but this one had a sort of depth Jing could never reach. The verious tales and adventures of Kino always managed to be entertaining wether they were mellow or action-packed (honestly some of the coolest battles I've ever seen!) The best part is that almost eery story came with a plot-twist from the relatively obvious to the totally off-the-wall surprises. Kino's Journey gives a look at a world different form ours but infinetally similar. I'd reccommend it to literally anyone. 5. Samurai X (prequel) - No matter how you look at it, this is just a damn good anime. It's got a story that's surprisingly deep for just 4 episodes, and despite the general lack of speach by either of them, I grew attached to Tomoe and Kenshin. But this isn't the real reason anyone likes this movie. It's bloody, action-packed, and gratifying (Instead of sparing everyone, we get to see Kenshin doing something cool! Yay!) and it's got one of my alltime favorite kills
the guy with the chains who Kenshin cuts in half vertically
PLEASE NOTE: there are other anime that belong in my five, I just haven't seen them in their entirety.
 18. If you plan on reading this novel DO NOT hilight the spoilers!!! OMG!! I just finished the third Boogiepop novel and it was amazing!!! I was disheartened cuz I didn't like the second one as much, but the third one sucked me right back in!! I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am that
Taniguchi Masaki and Orihata Aya got a happy ending!
The reason I say this is because their relationship was a lot like one I was in with the same characters and
their ending was much better than mine.
Once again this book was brimming with excellent quotes that I'll find myself wishing I could use more often (just watch my sig!) and Boogiepop him/herself was even cooler this time around.
I was extatic when Spooky E blew his own face off. That's what he gets for messing with poor Orihata!

 19.
My Top 5 Anime Are Dbz,gt,af,yugioh, and Naruto
*puts on cape* time to save my thread!!! 3. Serial Experiments Lain: Firstly, I'd like to get it out of the way that I have no idea how people found this show so hard to understand. Just like with Eva I was constantly waiting for the confusion to start, but it never did.
(except maybe when Lain's sister saw herself in the doorway and went crazy.)
This anime is great because it stays fucused. Never once does it give to violence or nudity -- in fact it almost rubs it's intelligence in your face which can get a little annoying but I didn't really mind it. the context, idea, and execution of this show are what drove me in and I really enjoyed a lot of the characters and their interactions. My favorite moments were 1. When Lain
enters the wired and is talking to the giant lips and calls the user a "stupid chesire cat wannabe"
and 2. Near the end when
Lain is all covered in wires and talking to the creeped-out Alice and then finally destroying god.
This anime almost made me cry a lot because the things that happen to Lain were downright painful to watch and I really liked her character.
 20. Alright, seen episode 10! This part always gave me a headache in the manga cuz of all that reading, but the anime was a nice alternative. Not the most eventful episodee, but all us who read the manga know about the bombshell ready to be dropped in episode 11!!! I can't wait! Meanwhile, I think I'll check out thie Code Geass...
 21. Okay! I finally got to see 1-9 on youtube and I'm waiting for 10 with hunger in my eyes! This show is AWESOME!!! I never thought anything could be cooler than the Death Note manga -- now I know that something is! The amount of life given to the charachters, the scenes, and everything is just magical! I love all the little digital effects and totally through the roof animation. In the first episode when he whisks his pen and you see the criminals dying and it's playing the totally wicked musical score I was like "Yeah!!!!" The best scene yet, though, was the last few minutes of episode 7.
I almost leapt from my chair when the snow started falling and Aizawa opened his umbrella JUST in time to miss Laito's face!!! Not to mention the part where Ray Penber's fiance is walking away and you see the stairway to heaven open up!
WICKED!!!!!!!
 22. I'm torn between my love of reinvented stories and my complete and utter immesurable depth of sheer, unrelenting hatred for the story Romio and Juliet (and my infinete wealth of indiscribably furious despisision for theose two characters) I may check it out, just to see if it brings some good to this dispicably hideous tale. *braces for imminent stoning*
 23. Recently I have been loving the song Warhead by Otep. It's cool subject matter and has some great bass. The whole format of the song is really cool. Almost every line is a great line and get stuck in the noggin easily. It's funny, because I don't really like any other Otep songs, but I love this one. The best part is the climbing action when she's screaming "In the WARHEAD! An alliance of defiance!" All week I've been listening the the City of Evil CD by Avenged Sevenfold over and over again and I've fallen in love with it. Sidewinder is awesome expecially for the amazing mexican-style solo at the end. Also great from this CD is Trashed And Scattered. As much as I am annoyed by M. Shadows' voice, I love the overlapping vocals in this song.
 24.
No. They're not even remotely metal in any way, shape, or form.
Lol I knew that was coming. Anywho, I kind of like their new single, but the mere fact that Corey of Slipknot is belting out a ballad with blond hair and nothing disturbing being flung at me is enough to drive me away. Blech. Bloody alternative-rock. Bleach-blonde hair... no. Not Okay.
 25. I've always seen it as your average village in the old days where everyone is neighboorly and cool to each other and stuff. Like a pizza. The crust is the structure of the site of course. The sauce is the internet we swim through, while the cheese is the flavor added by the style of OB. We are the toppings, in all sorts of flavors and stuff and types. ---and OB marriages are like the toppings that are on top of each other XD Of course some of us are anchovies lol
