Well, before I start, I don't really think you should base friendship on whether or not someone likes a movie, but that's just me, heh. Assuming that he didn't like the movie, of course (when you say "it was horrible", is that what he thought, or what you thought of his comment about it being a cult movie?). I have seen Boondock Saints, and.. well, it's probably my favorite movie of all time. lol I have it on DVD, and I must have seen it, literally, 30 times at the very least (kinda sad, eh?). It's just one of those movies that never seems to get old. So from someone who loves it, yeah, I'd agree with everyone else and would have to say that it is pretty much a cult movie. It came out under the radar because of Columbine, so it's popularity is mainly due to word of mouth. Obviously it has a following - it's Boondock Saints! - but it never got into the mainstream, which sucks since so many more people would have seen it, but that doesn't make "cult" a bad category.
You did go on a banner, avi making craze! I like them all. But I agree with Retribution about some of the thigns he said. You're doing very well. Just needs fine tuning.
Please try to be a little more specific in your posts. For example, in this case, you could refer to the things you agreed with Retribution about, as well as go into detail about how it can be fine tuned. Thanks!

Question answered, topic closed. ;) Hope we helped.

You mean on OB? Afraid not. :/ That, along with color and size and all that, was one of the big things that members wanted when we switched to v7, but unfortunately, whatever the reason, we couldn't make it happen. I imagine that it gets down to very difficult coding, and VirtualBulletin didn't have an option for it. But you could always keep a Notepad file open with the code, and just copy and paste when you want to post. ^_^ Of course, if I missed what you were referring to entirely, please feel free to send a PM my way.

Otakuboard is the first message board I joined, and ever since then, has been the one I've stuck with. Could it be force of habit? In addition to a large amount of other things, possibly. If I hadn't made such great friends here, or got myself involved in the community, or if the forum hadn't grown alongside me, or if it didn't encourage thoughtful and open-minded discussion with clear rules.. I would have left long, long ago. I've been to quite a lot of forums in my time, but there's always something about them that doesn't make them quite as enjoyable as OB. Sometimes, the people there are just jackasses, with that whole elitist ignorant attitude you often find on the internet. Other times, it seems like no one there has any sort of education, posting messages such as "wut r u doin?" as a topic, and is actually allowed! Or maybe the forum really hasn't gotten off the ground, so there aren't many members or topics, or just activity in general; OtakuBoards has done an amazing job with keeping everything going constantly, but this is also the result of a lot of money put into the boards and site. Which beings me to my next point -- some forums don't have an actual site to ensure that things continue to move smoothly for the whole community. It also helps that this board is a product of all of the hobbies I enjoy. Art, anime, video games, television, movies, and for everything else, you have the general discussion. The least I can do is to provide my moderating abilities and give back to the site for all the experiences it has brought to me. Keeping my section moderated is another thing that pushes me to continue to return, heh. :p

Hold up, now, Charles. The first day of April? EGM? Tell me you checked up on this claim elsewhere. lol The whole thing is just so wild to believe in the first place.
Sorry to the mods... I wasn't sure if I could just answer the question or not.
Oh yeah, it's fine; thanks for helping. ~_^ It's when there's an issue with the rules and the member doesn't realize it that you should probably leave that for the moderators, in order to prevent cluster in the thread. Altron and Freude have already done a good job answering your question, so I can only reiterate. Are you referring to submission as in presenting it here for feedback, or to submission as in sending in your artwork to theOtaku.com for wallpapers, greeting cards, fanart, etc.? Either way, we encourage that your work be as original as possible, especially in the case of fanart, but if you want to take images and sort of combine them together for wallpapers, greeting cards, or pieces that you would like to show here, that's perfectly acceptable.
I would normally say not that long, but since it took you 15 hours to get to where you are, it might be awhile :P It's not too much longer, seriously lol.
lol, well I've racked up at least another five hours playing, but still no power bomb. I did get a hint to go to a particular area in the dark world for missing equipment, though, so I'm almost positive it should be it. I just got the spider ball and have left the mechanical temple place. I enjoy taking my time, though, savoring the game for how fun it is, haha. I'm trying my best to go for 100%, and I occasionally just leave the game running while my health goes up in the crystal parts of the dark world, then go off and eat or something and come back later. Sometimes with items, I'll even go back to the beginning and go through the game trying to see what I can use them to unlock.
Just a little tip: Most of the paths blocked off by Denzium usually lead to upgrades and expansions, so if I were you, I'd take a mental (or written ;)) note of all the locations you've spotted so far, 'cause you could end up a very rich man, if you know what I mean.
Oh man, I can't even begin to note all of the locations so far. I have to have seen at least 20, because those damn yellow doors and blocked places marked Denzium are everywhere.

Ah, yeah, my friend used to have this game. Maybe he still does, I'm not sure; I haven't played it in years. I do recall that I had fun while it lasted, though, but my memory is horrible and I don't remember too much about it. :p Wasn't there another name for it, I think for a game that was released on Dreamcast?
-
Weren't you going to try to condense all your your pieces into one thread? Topic merged.

Alright, I'm about 41% through the game now, with 15 or so hours clocked in (I really haven't gotten a many chances to play it lately, what with school work and college stuff), and I just got the Dark Visor. I'm looking around and seeing all of these things that require Denzium to destroy, and I'm thinking.. how much longer until I get the power bomb? It's not too big a deal, but if someone could give me an estimate, it would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day Not much information on this yet. Or.. any information at all. But. Hopefully it'll come out this year, lol. After all, it's the sequal to pretty much my favorite movie of all time, and something like that needs to be mentioned, at the very least. If this was the only movie being released this year.. I'd be happy. However, All Saints Day is November 1st, so if it does come out this year, it'll be rather late, I think.

This is what Google and other search engines are for. I'm sorry, but this is something that can be done on your own with a little time. :/
They look awesome!!!!! You did an awesome job^^ The last one is my favorite^^
Ignoring that fact that you used very little constructive criticism in your post, this thread is over a year old. Please leave such threads in rest. ;)

In light of violence (namely shootings and such) at the schools, my school tested out their plan for a lockdown yesterday during 6th period. Aparently, if something like Columbine were to happen and people were running around the school with guns, this is supposed to be the answer. They would announce over the intercom for teachers to turn to page 18 in the handbook, and the teacher would then lock their doors from the outside and take roll. If all of the students are there, he or she puts up a green slip of paper on the window of the door; otherwise, a red slip is put up. The students and teacher are then ordered to turn off the lights and get away from the windows and doors, and administrators would walk around the hall and check the color slips on the windows of the doors. They would announce over the loudspeaker once the lockdown was complete. Obviously, there are a ton of flaws in this "plan." What if it happens during a lunch period? During a class change? Not only that, but they're basically showing this to people who will potentially be a cause for concern, so they can avoid the precautions. They could brake the windows on doors and open it from the inside, or knock on the window and you won't know whether it's an administrator, a gunman, or someone that's running from a gunman. You could let someone in who turns out to be the bad guy, or leave out an innocent student who could get shot down.

Ok, I'm done. Now I'll just wait for you to get indignent again.
Yay, I'm indignent for disagreeing.
No need to get nasty, but I thought that with your 3.6 GPA that you were bragging to Siren about that you would have read both posts. I guess I was wrong about that.
Wait a second.. I never said that I had a 3.6 GPA, much less bragged to Siren about it. What are you talking about? haha And for the record, I did read both posts, but I was refferring to your most recent one. I apologize for missing the phrase the second time around, though.
Pregnancy tests aren't 100% reliable and that's why you go to an OBGYN to get a second test. They give you some blood tests to make sure that the test was accurate. Obviously you're not as smart as you claim you are. Or you'd know that.
Perhaps.. or maybe I'm not a woman that has sex very often, so.. lol. I'm just basing my reasoning off a method I know of, which is using pregnancy tests. I'm not saying that you shouldn't check up on it; quite the opposite. You should find out if you're pregnant by doing whatever you can.
And when did I say how much my friend was smoking? She probably did like 1 Bong a day. I was only around her twice when she smoked around me...maybe 3 times. And Since when is it up to you or anyone else when someone should be in a possition where pregancy is or isn't possible? I didn't mention that when she was with her ex he'd get her high and rape her did I? Nope.
A bong a day? Damn, I'd call that a lot. XD Basically, anything that results in a miscarriage is likely to mean she was smoking a lot, or at least regularly (minimum a joint every couple days) when you get down to it. Obviously it isn't up to me. It's her choice. I'm just saying that there are consequences, especially having unprotected sex (you haven't specified either way, but I'm generalizing), especially when smoking frequently (resulting in a miscarriage), and especially after continuing to date a boyfriend who rapes you (I'm guessing this happened more than once, since you said "he'd" meaning "he would").
Why would you use a pregnancy test if your periods have always fluctuated? My period was always on the 19th of the month before I got pregnant. That's why I took a pregnacy test to see what was going on. But my other two friends that got pregnant and weren't in the same situation as I was (ie married) had really off the wall periods and my best friend didn't take a test until she hadn't had hers for 2 months.
Up up up! You can't take pregnancy tests to "see what was going on" if they aren't reliable, so why take them in the first place if you have to get it verified by the OBGYN? ;) Were you referring to the girl that had the miscarriage being one who had fluctuating periods? The way you described it is a little confusing. In any case, I imagine that periods probably aren't the only outward sign of pregnancy, am I right?
What I'm trying to say is even if you take an OTC pregnancy test and it says your are or aren't pregnant you still should go to see your gynocologist or an obstrcician (most are both hence the OBGYN)
Hey, tell that to your friend who had the miscarriage. Sucks to be her, but she needs to be on top of things a little more. I know that you're getting really excited because you finally know about subject matter that was brought up (pregnancy), but if you want to play it that way, then why are you arguing about marijuana in the first place if you haven't smoked it?

Hmm.. I think this would probably be better suited for Anime Lounge, rather than Art Studio. I can see why you would want to put it here, due to the drawing styles, but in the end you're discussing anime.
'Kay, crazy Kingdom Hearts freak back again. My new desktop has a screenshot of Axel from KH 2, and it says "Your friendly neighborhood backstabbing murderer." *crickets chirp* I thought it was funny! I'm gonna see if I can host this at MediaMiner... EDIT: Nope, no can do. Anyone know a free site where I can host my desktops? In the meantime, I'll see if I can attach it here... ... No. Crud. HELP?
Try 250free.com, which works for me. Or just lower the quality of the picture and try uploading again.
Wow, you're an idiot! You didn't even bother to read what I posted before you replied did you? You seem to be COMPLETELY missing the point of what I was telling Zeta. Women's menstral cycles aren't always regular. Pregnancy tests aren't always accurate. And most people check their condoms before and after they use them. Just turn around get off the computer and go smoke some more because you're obviously not comprehending anything I said.
Wooaahh there, Bessy. Calm down now. No where in your post did you even mention pregnancy tests, so I'm not really sure which post you think you wrote, and which one you are trying to accuse me of not reading. lol With that said, I understand that menstral cycles aren't always regular. And I know I don't know much about being pregnant or having your period, obviously, because I'm a guy. :p But I do know that under responsible use, if you have sex.. alright, stay with me here, because it gets complicated.. if you have sex and there's any possibility, check if you're pregnant. Phew, alright. Still with me? Now if your period fluctuates around the time that you had sex, that's a good indication that you might possibly be pregnant. Even if it turns out that you aren't, it's better safe than sorry. But if you can't trust the pregnancy tests, who or what can you trust? After that, I suppose it comes down to not getting pregnant in the first place. Clearly if she was smoking as much as you said she was, she probably wasn't planning on getting pregnant. So she shouldn't have even been in the situation where pregnancy was possible, simple as that. Before you even go off and talk about how innaccurate they are, did she use a pregnancy test during the time her period was "fluctuating" to begin with?

So what did you do with the picture? Did you paste the image of the wolf, alter it in some way, or what? Tough to critique without knowing what you did. ^_~
