It's rediculous how people judge the dub so quickly, much less believe that Cartoon Network does the dubbing. Trigun was actually done very well, dubbed by a good company of which I do not know the name..ai, will the bashing never end?

As for the Pokemon part, that should probably be flipped, since the series section usually deals in gaming. So basically, it's that Pokemon the anime should be discussed in the Pokemon forum rather than the Anime Lounge forum.

And no, I don't live far north, actually, I live in Southern Maryland, as in Washington DC district. I'd say that's...around in the middle.

When I beat it, I had 17 and 3/4 hearts, and was tired of trying to get everything. It was fun to get those heart containers, but I was both too lazy and too tired of my friend telling me how he beat it to care about the rest. The one you are talking about, hitting the old guy 500 times, that was actually pretty easy for me. The first time, he asked me to hit him a hundred times, so I did, and when he asked me to hit him 300 times, I saw what was going on and just hit him as many times as I could. I got bored at around 700 and stopped, and he declared me a swordsman, etc. All I did was wait patiently and keep my sheild out most of the time. As for the photographs, I don't know who would have the patients to do all of that. I did about 3, and that was enough for me. v.v If I did, though, [spoiler]you start out with the delux pictograph on the hard file anyway.[/spoiler] And then the rest, I pretty much got...I think. I got all the bombs and arrows, as well as the magic and ruppee upgrades. The only thing I missed I believe was the submarine chart and whatever was on all of those ghost ships other than the first one. I also didn't get all the treasure maps.

Bah, you guys are probably the luckiest on the planet. I'm counting down the days until school is done with my sub profile -- 1 month, 29 days. That's right, we don't get out until June 19th. Why? Oh god...my county has had many snow days, and they insist on not letting us off on a single one. We have to pay for each and every snow day, so they just tack it off on the end of the year, in spring break, and other random days. Rediculous. The coming weeks will be the hardest, too. They are still overloading us with work to make up for the old snow days, and the tests are coming every week. And then there are the finals at the end of the year. Ai, this year sucks. Plus, while usually I can get out on the last day, due to the fact that I have two Math classes, I can't. You see, when they tell me to take my Math final, I'll only be able to take one, so the other one would be made up on the last day. That's how it goes...

Let's see, well, I'm not really planning on doing anything over the summer. The first thing I'm going to do is make use of this Six Flags season pass. I got one last year, and it was great. ^_^ Superman all the way! The next thing I plan to do is pick up a copy of the fifth Harry Potter book and read that, as well as finish reading my Lord of the Rings books. Speaking of readin, I'll have some books I need to read over the summer, I suppose, I just hope they arn't as boring as last year (The Old Man and the Sea). I plan to take a trip to California in early July, and that should be fun. I'll be visiting Los Angelous as well as San Diego and a few other places. Hopefully I'll be able to check out Disney Land, and meet Juuthena and whoever else she can bring. ;) Other than that...yeah, nothing. Sleeping in is a big thing that comes to mind, maybe finish/buy a few video games while I'm at it. My parents won't pay for me to go to summer camps anymore, so probably most of the time I'll be dragging them to Six Flags. ^.^;; EDIT: Ah, yes, I have some mature things to do regardless of how much I try to put it aside. I'm going to have to find a job, learn to drive, look for colleges, and study for my SATs as well. It sucks, but I'm going into 11th grade, and it has to be done.

As I told Charles, if you read the announcement, James particularly noted that he wants the .hack games to be placed in their, quote, "relevant gaming forums." Ironically, at the end of it, James says that he wants everyone to read the announcements because you have no idea what you may miss. I guess he called this one right, eh?

Well I never...Asuka making a thread about a series FUNI edits? ~_^ I saw some previews for it in my old Dragonball Z tapes (...>.>...) and it looked kind of strange. It got me interested, but it deffinitly didn't sound like any anime I've seen before. The preview made it out to be for mature audiences, like you said, so I was quite surprised it was going to be done by FUNI. So yeah, I've never seen it, but I suppose I would if I got the chance.

If I moved it down, the 'g' would come into contact with the line, and if I moved it over, it would come into contact with the red line. Interesting..it's like you're watching water through purple stained glass. Very professional looking like always, reminds me a *little* of your last banner, though, if it had just been done in spots. The placing of the text could be better; the one in the corner shouldn't be touching the edges, and the 'indigoANTHRAX' is angled funny. Other than that, great. My rating: [b]9/10[/b]

Ai, that second one makes it too dark. As for the avatar you are using now, that's the one I was talking about, but if you added scan lines and an outline it would match your banner a lot better.

Very nice; I like this because it doesn't follow the usual rectangular banner. The scan lines are perfect in my opinion, and you should use that avatar you were showing earlier. My rating: [b]9/10[/b]

I don't believe this...I was about to post this Saturday night but forgot! Anyway, my friend was telling me all about it at Six Flag Saturday afternoon. Let's see..where do I begin.. The building itself will be about 2/3 of a mile high, which is high above the clouds. Aparently, they plan to finish with it sometime in the mid 2100 century. A long time? Yes, but for what they are planning to do, it's not so bad. Their plan is to create a building where each resident has approximately 25 floors, and it is also full of grocery stores, lakes, and almost anything you can think of. They plan to have elevators that go sideways and diagonal in addition to up and down. Trains are also in the plan to take people from place to place, and floor to floor. The structure is apprently going to be strong as well, protecting against such things as fires and hopefully planes. It is concievable that a person can spend their entire lives in the building without touching the Earth. Imagine that for a second... My friend also tells me that they are considering making [i]three[/i] of these buildings, creating sort of a triangle, and then have a platform connecting them. And then a good number of people will be able to live [b]on the platform[/b]. Do you have any idea how many people could possibly live in this thing? And people arn't even building these things. You think Japan is far in technology, but can you believe that robots have been programmed to make this entire building all by themselves? The possibilties with this are endless; I just wish I'd be alive to see it completed.

Anything can be good, what you need to do is critique the picture and say why you think it is good, or what they can improve to make it 'fantastic.'
