It's very sad, but it was kind of obvious he wouldn't disarm. It is inevitable that we'll officially go to war tonight, but we won't be attacking right away. Aparently we are "waiting until there is no moon in the sky" or no sand storms or something. If we had only taken care of Sudam all those years ago...oh well, can't worry about that now. I don't really want war, but it seems we gave them so many chances and tried to avoid this in the past, so now this is for the best.

Wow, I'm lucky, that's the same time that I'm going to be staying in San Deigo. I suppose I'll have to beg my parents, if it isn't too far North (I can see it on the map!). ;) Can you order tickets online or something? Or do you actually have to go somewhere in the general California area? EDIT: We're going to be staying in Los Angelos for a little while, but we won't even get to California until late on the 6th!!! Noo!!! *cries* I'm so unlucky...

Not the best thing I've done, but I decided to change my banner since so many people were asking why I hated every system. -__- Plus, it shows honor to Rurouni Kenshin's premire on Toonami. :) Any comments and critique are greatly apreciated. It's a good banner, in my opinion, graphic wise. The background and image placement is very well done. The only problem that I have with it is the small font. It really doesn't look good, but I don't blame you, I've been trying to find a font that I could do that with for ages.

Cool beans. I really liked the whole gold packaging; gold is so cool, especially when on games. ^_^ 12 blocks shouldn't be a problem to save, either, since I got a 251 memory card, and all I have is Prime, Mega Collection, Melee, and the Zelda Bonus disk. I think I may take advantage of the connectivity in this. I do need to get one, after all, since I could be playing the original Metroid since I beat Fusion. It should be really fun to use because in addition to parts being considerably easier, you ca collect hidden chests to fully beat the game. Wohh! Sounds like fun; I'm the kind of person that just likes to have everything -- but rarely get it. o_O

He'd say that repeatedly, so I know it's not something completely random. It that a dubbing error?

Well, I just saw Kenshin, and the first thing that came into my mind? Trigun. It's from the producers of Trigun, don't try to tell me it's not! It's way too similar! A main character who is told to be pure evil, you can barely tell it's him due to his comical side. There is someone that takes his name and goes around killing people. The main character never wants to kill anyone, and even the voices and music remind me of it! It's obviously a bit more intense in the way of killing and stuff, but it feels like Trigun nonetheless. Not that that's a bad thing, either, however, since Trigun was a good series. :) If Vash was a ninja, this would be the series. ^_^

I saw it. It was pretty good, but I didn't expect the movie to be just a resque type of mission, lol. I didn't like what happened, thinking about all of those people that died for practically no reason, but it was portrayed very well. I don't think I'm going to see it again though, I'm not really a fan of war type of movies. My brother was just able to drag my entire family to go see it. ;)

Oh, I like that one a lot, Kenji. :) The pic is perfect, but the text does need some work. It doesn't feel...theOtaku, although it does look good on it's own.

Ok, I'm either completely blind (which I am slightly when looking far away, but I am up against the screen here) or it's my moniter. The flat screen does create a sharper image usually, and perhaps it also clears out slight marks. I do happen to see things on different moniters that I don't on mine.

I pre-ordered the game for me and a friend a few weeks back. I actually should have paid for them seperately, though, since now I have one receipt and you have to turn that in when you get the game. v_v Anyway, I had a feeling that Wind Waker would break record sales on this one. First of all, the pre-order disks are selling like hotcakes, and it's very hard to get one. I found out my local walmart had 5, so I told them to hold two, and by the time I got down there a few hours later, mine were the only ones left. I think people are really excited about both Wind Waker and getting a free game or two with it, and practically everyone that owns a GC are getting it. I was even thinking about getting it when I didn't have a GameCube. o_O Call me strange, but I thought that if I didn't get that disk then, I would never have the opertunity when I finally did get a GC. Otherwise, I probably could have sold it for a profit. ^_^ Rivaling with Vice City though...I had never thought about it before. Vice City sold an amazing amount of copies, but now that I think about it, Wind Waker could easily rival that. I also find it great how many people aparently changed their minds about the look, seeing that the gameplay will prevail in the end, and that the look looks pretty tight anyway.

I was actually thinking of buying the DVDs of Kenshin, dubbed. I'll get a taste of it on Cartoon Network, and then if I like it, which I probably will, I'll have to start saving up $100. ^_^;; It isn't too bad considering there are 95 episodes in the series, and if the dub was really [i]that[/i] bad, I could just change it to subbed. Ahh, how I love DVDs. I've never seen a badly dubbed anime on DVD. They keep in all of the original content, and the voice actors arn't that bad, so...I suppose that you just got used to the subbed version, TN? >.< It's just that the series looks so good, but I want to be able to watch it in my language.

Even though I'd probably prefer not being rich, it's still fun to think of what I would do with a Trillion dollars. ;) Ok, at first I may come off as slightly greedy, but hear me out. ^_^ First, I would make my friends and family filthy rich as well, if they allow me to give them so much money. :p Thinking about myself, I'd buy a laptop with all of the possibilities of my current desktop. On top of that, I would buy amazing graphics programs, like 3D's Max, and get myself wireless DSL or Cable intertnet. That way, I could do anything on my computer ANYWHERE! I'd get myself every anime that I can think of and let my friends borrow them whenever they want, while also bringing them to share at my anime club. I'd get an XBox and get every extra feature on each system. As for games, I'd get all the games that I ever wanted, and set some money aside for future games and consoles. After all that wishfull spending, I'd set money aside for things such as college, brother's college, my future, my will (god forbid o_O), etc. And [i]then[/i] I'd set the rest (after taxes) aside in case something comes up for charities, medical purposes, or other such money giveaways. I can honestly say I wouldn't want the rest of that after all that cool stuff I bought. :) Plus, I'll be helping people in need.

Please continue the discussion there. :) If you want to talk about Kenshin in general, you can, but it doesn't seem like you are in this particular thread. Topic closed. Hmm, I'm not too sure how liable this thread is, but the same thing has been happening for me. My home page is set to theOtaku.com, obviously, but it hasn't loaded properly for a few days. Does this have anything to do with the new section?

I actually have one of their CD's (maybe there is only one? o.o' *doesn't know*) with 'Wish' and 'Smooth Criminal.' I'm kind of a fan of theirs, ever since I heard 'Wish' in Tony Hawk's 3, and decided to listen to their music since it was the best song on the Hawk track. Eh, I like their music, and because I don't listen to that much music, they are one of my favorite bands.
