Sometimes it's just better to let it all out, and cry. For what it's worth, I'm sorry for what you have gone through this year, but remember that you have a lot to be happy about. Just look at that buddy list in your signature! Just remember that you've got friends here that you can talk to about anything. :)

Yeah, my advice is to just be honest with him about how you feel. It should help him realize what he is doing and stop, but if he doesn't, tell Ryan about it, hahaha.

Hey cool, Evangelion is going to be on Cartoon Network. :) Please continue the dicussion here. :whoops:

Hmm...I thought about it, and maybe
Dumbledore is the main character who is going to die
. That would cover two predictions, lol.

There arn't really a whole lot of fights in my school; there were more at my old middle school. I remember a couple years back, my new middle school principal was upset that there were three fights in one week, and I was just thinking that at my old middle school, the principal would be happy if there was only three fight in a day. o_O I've never gotten into a fight at school. I wouldn't want to ruin something in the future because of some jackass. There were a few fights I've had with "friends" though, but nothing major, and not in a long time. What do you do if somebody starts on you? Ahh, I'd have to refer to my old friend Spike Spiegal. ;) I'd try to simply move out of the way, and question what they think they're doing. I would try not to fight back, but if they hit me or something, then I can't quarantee I won't do anything. What is your style of fighting? Spike Spiegal! Lol...I try to move pretty smoothly, and if I hit back, it's going to be pretty hard. I usually stand back and wait for them to make a move, and when I'm ready I go in for a hit. Of course, I don't actually fight unless I know I'm going to win. What would you do, if you walked past a group of people beating up another group? I'd probably act like I didn't see anything, truthfully. I wouldn't want to be a part of it because then they'll start coming after me, lol. Best to leave gang fights like those alone. ;)

I kind of liked a tattoo I saw in a movie once; some words on their finger, but I don't think I'll ever bother with that. I dislike needles, and I wouldn't want to do anything that I would regret later.

I just watched this movie the other night at a friend's house, and I really liked it. It was basically an action movie that had a whole lot of cussing and killing and stuff. Not really a gangsta' film, but there was a Grand Theft Auto feel to it. Boondock Saints is a story of two Irish brothers in [Boston] who go around killing mob bosses and evil people like that. They join up with this other guy to do the killings half way through the movie, and you really have to decide whether their killing is justified. To them, they obviosuly think so, believing that God sent them to do it. They even say a prayer as they point the gun to the person's head, and when they shoot them, they leave pennies over their eyes. The penny thing is just a superstition that some religions go by where aparently it's for when they have to pay the toll for the afterlife or something. I really reccommend this movie to everyone who likes action mob killing movies, and don't mind the good deal of cussing. ;)

Well, even though I believe that Tampa Bay is winning, I am rooting for...the Raiders!! >_< Yeah, I had a little "pre-game" on Blitz 2001 earlier, and I totally kicked my brothers butt as Oakland. ^_^ Yeah, that's what I'm going by...

Well, I can't say that I've seen this before, but as you say, if it's not anime, it really has no reason being here. I'm moving this into Music, Movies & TV unless someone knows otherwise.

Ohh, while were on the discussion of predictions...
I think that Harry will hook up with Cho, and Ron with Hermione. Although it may not happen right away, that's what will probably happen, and then one of them (Ron or Hermione, probably Ron because you really get to know his family, which is very large and will take a big hit) will die. Rowling has hinted that one of the main character will die, so I'm guessing that this is shortly after Ron and Hermione hook up. Harry with hook up with Cho, that much is certain, since Rowling hints so much towards them liking each other. Another thing is that Dumbledore will die. Like the Queen said, JK Rowling really emphasizes how old and tired he looks, and it would sure add suspense since that was the only thing stopping "He who must not be named" from taking Harry at school. Moving on, does anyone remember Ms. Figg, who was mentioned in the first book, that looked after Harry sometimes? You know, the one with the cats. Yeah, well, in the fourth book, Dumbledore tells Serius that he must gather the old crowed, and he mentioned a one "Abrella (sp.?) Figg." Perhaps they are one in the same, hmm... Let's see...I believe that I heard a rumor somewhere that Malfoy and Harry are going to team up against "He who must not be named." It's believable too, since it's hard to believe that such arch enemies would team up and stuff.
Well, I've laid all my predictions on the table, what do you think? I actually made myself a whole big list, but I seemed to have misplaced it...

Well, thus marks another great section that you have brought us Adam. :) I'm having a lot of fun with this already!
Originally posted by AnimeGurl Ballad of Fallen Angels is one of my best episodes...the episode is so gentle and full of silence..... _________________ANIME____________ROCKS_____________
Yes, I believe that we know it's one of your favorite episodes, as you are the one who indeed made this thread and said that you liked it. Otherwise, I really see no point to this "Anime Rocks" statement that you added there at the end. If I didn't know better, I'd say that you posted merely to exceed one more post on your post count. It might as well have said "Post count +1" and if I see any more of these kind of posts, I will delete them, no questions asked.
Originally posted by Puaru There arent to many episodes of Bebop I don't like, but no series is perfect... Ganymede Elegy, Wild Horses, Brain Scratch, and Hard Luck Woman are just boring, boring, BORING!!! Ganymede had almost no action and it starred my least favorite character (Don't get me wrong, Black Dog Serenade was good), Wild Horses was just boring, Brain Scratch gave me a cramp, and most of Hard Luck Woman was boring, (Faye searching for her past) But had some good moments, ("Thank you for taking care of my son, or was it my daughter?" "Hey MackingDuck, want an egg? Sucking eggs is good for ya, give ya power, and charge!")
Yeah, every series has it's share of filler episodes that may or may not appeal to someone who is a fan of the series. For the most part, I don't really like filler episodes, but there are exceptions where it has a good story and has some awsome action. Cowboy Bebop has a lot of fillers that I like, mainly because I like their style of action. The only episodes that I found particularly boring were Episodes #12 and 13: Juppiter Jazz. I don't know...the lighting effects and everything moed way too slow for my taste, and I really wasn't impressed.

You know, one thing I've noticed is how much the books mature with each passing novel. With the longer words comes deeper and more horific tales, and more difficult obstancles that Harry must endure. As her readers grow older, JK Rowling seems to bring up the age of her books, until the final book will most likely be considered more of an Adult book than the children's story that we first started out with. I'm awaiting these gradual changes with anticipation, and I'm hoping that she makes her books longer and longer, if her personal life allows such.

No way I'm missing this, lol. One of my favorite parts, sad to say, is people getting rejected by Simon. Simon says...you are the weakest link. o_O;;; But otherwise, the talent is pretty good, and I think the producers did a really good time on last American Idol. But then you win, and it's like, you can never go out in public again it seems. I hear that the top two winners from last time are making a movie. I mean, sure they're good at singing, but let's leave it at that, haha.

I'm not really sure how we can get a decent discussion over the number of episodes in a particular series, a factual answer that you could look up on a search engine. If dubbed and subbed versions have a different number of episodes, I wouldn't really be surprised, as I'm sure FUNI's DBZ won't have the same as the original. I suppose that's it. I wish you luck in finding what you're looking for. :)
Originally posted by S#aRp you never know it took almost 10 years to make another vampire hunter D
Perhaps, but if there really was going to be a sequal to Outlaw Star, they would have issued a press release. You can't really believe any rumors these days.
Originally posted by G.D. Ryoko Do you know a site where I could probroly get some Shinzo pictures? I really wanted some Mushra and Sago pictures for my collection.
Well, that's kind of obvious, just go to google and type in 'Shinzo' as a keyword and see what you get. Let's try to stay more on topic of the anime in question. ;)

I noticed this on theOtaku.com. I was kind of wondering when they were going to do Dragonball GT, but now that they have started it, they have already proved their stupidity by skipping to the Babi saga. Gee, why is Goku small? Bah, kids don't care, they want to see action! Typical FUNImation...and I hear they're going to change Bra's name to...something. Anyway, I'm not going to be buying the DVDs, but I'll probably check it out on Cartoon Network in the fall for fun. FUNImation ruins it again!!!
Originally posted by S#aRp -Hellsing -Grave of the Fireflies -Vision of Escaflowne Grave of fireflies is the number 1 anime movie i ever seen the story is very gripping and is a must see everyone should check it out
Ahh, I'm not sure if I would consider those rare animes. I know for a fact that many people here have heard of these, myself included. And even though I havn't watched them yet, I'm actually hoping to see Hellsing some time next week.

You know, I really doubt that there is going to be an Outlaw Star 2. First of all, if they did make more episodes, it would just be an extension to Outlaw Star; they probably wouldn't change the title. Second, if the producers have wanted to create an extension, I would have though that they would have done it already when their minds were still fresh on the series. Obviously, those are just my opinions. There very well may be more episodes in the making. I don't know, I thought that the ending was pretty solid, and I'd really have to see more evidence to this supposed series sequal. It seems that there are so many animes these days that have a rumored second season.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka Well, the reason why the original looks like much lower quality, it's only because it's a whole lot OLDER than Dirty Pair Flash. In the original, Kei has this big huge afro going on and Yuri still basically looks the same.
Yeah, I noticed that, heh. And I don't know if it was the animation, but I really didn't like the original as much as Dirty Pair Flash.
Originally posted by S#aRp anyone know where i can buy the volumes at?
I'd reccommend checking out theOtaku.com's advertiser site, DiscountAnimeDVD.com, if you don't mind buying them online. Otherwise, I havn't really seen anime around in any stores that I know of. As for the anime itself, I havn't seen it yet, but my anime club is supposed to be showing it at the next meeting. I'll inform you on my thoughts then. :)

Yeah, I watch that show on Showtime Beyond as well, when I get a chance. I've seen about 5 or 6 episodes so far, and it's pretty good, but by far not my favorite series. While the characters do look pretty good, the story line could be a bit better. What I've noticed is that they try to fit as many explosions into an episode as possible, lol. I've actually seen an episode of the original Dirty Pair as well, which you can deffinitly tell by the character designs and the lower quality animation.
