Originally posted by Shinobi It looks amazing, i have been waiting 2 years (the first time i heard of this) and from what i gathered, they are bringing them out at the same time!
Yeah, same here. I believe that it must have been summer of 2000 when I first heard from my friend that the Matrix will be releasing a triligy. Two and a half years later, and here I am, still waiting. o_O

This seems like it must have been filmed a while ago. Exactly when was it that you were filmed in the movie?

This sounds like a really good series, juding by the reviews I've heard on it. I may check it out, but more likely than not, I'll probably skip out. Not that I don't want to see it, but I really don't have the time to watch that, and get up early in the morning. I suppose that also answers your second question. I'm not a fan of the weekday adult swim, but it does seem to restrict a younger audience from watching more mature shows. Just wait -- parents are going to be complaining now that Adult Swim is making their child stay up on weekdays.

Let's see, I suppose I'm addicted to anime, video games, and the internet. For anime, it's scary how quick and precise I can come up with random facts some times. It scares my friends and it even freaks me out sometimes. o_O For video games, I guess I have a lot of them, and when I'm not on the computer or watching anime, I'm playing video games and trying to get absolutely everything in them. Lastly, I'm on the internet everyday, at least...I'd have to say four hours a night. Multiply that by five, calculate more time on weekends, and that comes to...a hell of a lot of time on the internet. o.o'

Dressed as in clothing, right? Or did I read that wrong? o_O;;; My guess is that this was just the guy's way of getting his frustration out, since they were obviously winning. He was probably angry that he was loosing so bad, and got in a mood, and the rest is history. I suppose he wanted to leave with the impression that he was a bad loser. Otherwise, I know plenty of rude people like that. I remember last year, I was just walking through the hallway, and one of the doors out of the cafeteria was closing (our cafeteria is in the middle of the school, so most of us just cut through). Anyway, I just casually slipped through the door crack, and it closed right when I passed, and this one kid in a group of people behind be said just loudly for me to hear as he talked with his friends, "Jeeze, I hate people who just slip through the door like that." o_O It sounds stupid, but he seemed as though he was being rude on purpose.

Yeah, I heard something about this. That is, I heard about it, but have not heard what it had in it. o_O I own Virtua Fighter 4, myself, which is by far the greatest fighting game I've ever played. I'd probably like to get Evolution, but I'm perfectly happy with this version. And with only two new characters, I don't think it's worth the money. Plus, if you don't have either, Virtua Fighter 4 is only $20 now, so I'm not sure why they even bothered to come out with another.

I got it, and it's not a bad game. In fact, I really like it a lot. ^_^ The cut scenes are, unfortunately, not very good at all. They're corney, like Funi's anime version, and I just didn't like them. There are a few exceptions, but not enough to change my mind. The best part about the game is, obviously, the fighting. It's pretty intense and is really fun.
Originally posted by Jinzouningen17 First of all, I'm back. Welcome me. ^_^ j/k. ANYWAY, while I was in Gatlinburg, I was playin a few peeps in Tekken 4 when I over heard some guy talkin to this other kat about DBZ Budokai, and he said that it was one of the best games that he's played. As a matter of fact, he put it up there with Tekken 4 and a few of the other fighter games. But on the subject matter at hand, he mentioned that he had beat the game(on hard I think he said, I cant remember what he said the difficulty level was)and he said at at the very end of the game, you find 2 hidden characters. SSJ3 Goku and Evil Kid Buu(he said that there wasnt any other characters from the Buu saga. Just those 2 that he knows of). He must've beat the game wit Goku. But anyway, after I beat some guy in Tekken 4, the guy talkin about Budokai came in and I began to play him(which I must say was probably the hardest person I've ever played in Tekken 4. I never been taken to the limit like the way he did me. ^_^). As we played, I asked him if the stuff about Kid Buu and SSJ3 Goku was true or if he was just jokin. Well, he told me it was all true, and he mentioned that one of the moves Buu did to him was he took his thing at the top of his head(whatever you'd wanna call it), grabbed him by the neck and threw him into the ground. But he said that it was probably the funnest thing that he's played. So this is definetly makin me want to khop this game. Whenever I get the money, I for one am DEFINETLY gonna get this game, try to beat it myself and then I'll be able to let ya know for sure if the SSJ3 Goku and Buu thing is true....or I could just search the net and see if theres anymore pics of Budokai so I could possibly let ya know then if its definete or not. But this game seemed like an avid gamer(one of those types that you'd see constantly in arcades or buyin video games. As if it was his hobby or somethin). So who knows. I'll try to find out for myself. ^_^
I beat the game on story mode, then beat all three competitions, thus unlocking all the secret characters. And from what I can see...Majin Buu and Super Saiya-jin 3 Goku are not among them. Either I didn't beat the whole thing, or this guy is obviously lying.

Oh my god, this thread is so old that it was made on the day that OtakuBoards first opened the VB boards. It's so old, I don't even remember posting here. *_* While I'm at it...I give Funi's job a 4/10. The dialogue could be better, but they did a good job on the visuals. I don't think we really need another Funimation discussion, but I think they could have made this a LOT better, even with the restrictions that they originally based their work upon.

Anime AAKK!!! Hasn't ANYONE wanted to talk about VHD an' Bloodlust!?!?
Syk3 replied to Sarasan's topic in Otaku Central
I saw the second VHD movie, and I have to say that I was very impressed. It was a good story, while keeping good animation, and the characters were pretty cool as well. I actually havn't seen it in a while, but I remember that I liked it. As for the first one, I have yet to see it, but from what I hear, it's a classic but isn't quite as good as the sequal was. Mod Note: This topic has been heavily edited for clarity. I apoligize for letting the thread get this far out of hand. -Shy -
Originally posted by Wakka_N_Tidus *is addicted to anime* I NEED THIS CHANNEL! I hope it's all accross the globe. I don't know, maybe there are other places that have anime channels, other than Japan, of course.

I've never actually played paintball before, but it looks really fun, and I want to at least try it out. There was this one time when I went over to a friend's house, he had some paintball guns and paintballs, so we went out back and shot some targets. That was pretty fun; I hit it more times than he did. ;) I think I was kind of hesitant at first about playing paintball. First of all, I was certain that I would ruin a shirt if I got hit, and I suppose the people I talked to made it out that it hurt when you got hit. Since then, I've learned that they made some paintballs that don't stain, and that it doesn't really hurt. I'd really be up for playing, but I don't have a lot of money, and don't have any equipment, either. Oh well, pehaps in a few years if one of my friends invites me to a match.

I think they did extremely good in the character designs for Trigun. ^_^ The look for Vash is perfect. The red lether coat has a great look to it, and even goes well with his glasses. Ohhh, I wish I had those glasses. >.< I'm pretty sure you can buy Vash's entire costume if you have a LOT of money. I hear that they sell the red suit, and the glasses, and even his gun, though I don't think it's real. Of course, I have no idea where this is, nor anyone who would actually pay hundreds of dollars for it. But if that's your thing, go ahead. :) Otherwise, I think they did good on other costumes as well. Woolfwood didn't have a cool shirt, but his cross is amazing (I think they sell that too o.o'). As for Knives, I hear of a lot of people who don't like it, but I think it's kinda cool. It kind of reminds me of a Saiya-jin suit, actually, since he pretty much where's it all the time, and seems easy to move around with in battles.
-
Well, I don't really want to ruin the story for you, but I believe that he acts so helpless because that's just his natural character; he's never serious unless he has to be. You should really watch more of the series, and the story will slowly come out. Otherwise, I think that the writers were trying to create a comedic atmosphere, whereas they leave you wondering if this could possibly be the 60 billion dollar man. It also allows Vash to throw off his oponents at times, since his personality makes them think he's a real wuss when it comes to fighting. ...they should have kept in mind his high bounty v.v...
Originally posted by Rhys Mayiessen ReBoot really isn't anime though I thought about putting it there before I started this.
Eh, I was just thinking it might be, since it was previewed as an anime DVD in my Eva collection. Oh well, I could be wrong.

There is no way I can wait for the new Matrix movies. :( The Matrix was my favorite movie of all time, and I must see the sequal (or was it a prequal?) on the day it comes out. *_* I'm not missing out on this... Does anyone know the length that they are going to seperate the two movies? Six months, maybe? Hopefully?!?! I'm just hoping it's not a year like Lord of the Rings. >.>
-
Woah, that's awsome! You can say that you were actually filmed (maybe?) in one of the biggest movies of the year. I'd love to do something like that, but I'd probably break down laughing or something, lol. Maybe forget where to go, or just get nervous. Anyway, I'll look in a year when the extra DVDs come out! ^_^ ...not that I'd know what you look like o_O, lol.

I have a feeling that some gliches (note: some) are the fault of perhaps some of the codes. I mean, when you put in a code, it always warns you when you go to save. Supposedly, it takes away from your hidden packages or something, but it may be doing more. That's mainly the reason why I don't save with codes, heh, but I'm just warning all of you who do. You never know...

I'm with Hybrid in the sense that there are so many cool characters to choose from. ^_^ I'd have to choose Vicious though. I just think of Vicious as an all-around cool character. As a villian, the writers were able to show his near-flawless side, portraying him as a ruthless bad ***. They showed enough of him for someone to think of him as cool, but at the same time left a lot of his past open, making him more mysterious and less predictable. With his sword, he can slash his way through almost any situation without worrying about amunition, or any hesitation for that matter. I'd say that
his end came about by fate, a lucky shot that would end Spike's book as well
. On a side note, we usually don't allow favorites topics, but I'll keep this open as long as you include why you are choosing that certain character, like Juu said. Other posts will be deleted, and if it goes on, the thread will be closed. Just giving a heads up! :)

It's rediculous how irrisponsible parents can sometimes be of their children. Remember that father who let his young daughter sit in a hot car for hours? And you'd think those kind of instances would teach you something about handling your child; they can die. And this brings up another topic: you can't always be that dependant in real life on someone you met on the internet. Sure, they sound nice, but you don't know what's in their head. *_* No offense to any of you, lol. ...>.>... In any case, it goes to show how ill-prepared some mothers are for raising children, when the only reason they have them in the first place is because they were "just fooling around."

Yeah, I've seen both movies; they both leave you wanting more (especially Blood because it was so good ^_^). For this reason, there are many people who dislike these and other such movies, but I don't find them half bad. If they did a good job on the movie, but don't necessarily leave a solid ending, it doesn't really mean that it isn't a bad movie. On the contrary, it leaves the story open for a sequal that could keep the great story line and even end it. However, if the ending wasn't solid because it just plain sucked, then I feel your pain. ;) I believe that there are sequals in the works for both of these movies, so don't be disapointed. Be excited to see the rest of the story. :)
