Hmm, I don't know about this; we've had a topic before about where our real names came from, but meh, I guess this is alright. My name, which is S-Y-K-3 is pronounced syke. Like, "oh yeah, I saw that episode. ::cough:: Syke..." (give me a break here --;) But for some reason, people continually call me Sky 3. o_O

Bah, this topic has been done over. I think that the best systems out now are the PS2 and GCN. This isn't because I'm trying defend my PS2, but because the reason I got it in the first place was because it seemed like the best choice. XBox, on the other hand, doesn't mean anything to me. Although it may be the most powerfull system on the market, Microsoft has little idea what they are doing, since this is their first gaming console. What they need to understand is that a gaming system is more than just hardware -- it's software as well. I believe that if they don't get their act together soon and come out with some amazing titles (other than Halo and Jet Grind Radio Future, folks) they will loose the race to the other two systems. That being said, I really admire how well the PS2 and GCN systems are going. PS2 has a very large library of games, allowing it to appeal to most every age group. They even have the highest sales and are doing better than the other two next-generation consoles. GCN is doing good as well, with a large batch of exculsives that would make anyone drool over. With games such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, Animal Crossing, and Metroid Prime, it's no wonder that people without a GCN are beginning to feel guilty. I know I'm a victom. Out of these three, however, I own a PS2. Why? At the time I got it, it seemed like the best choice. It had been around for a year and really had a lot of features backing it up. Plus, it was compatiable with DVDs, which I needed more than anything. In short... Good systems: PlayStation 2 and GameCube Bad systems: XBox

To even compare this game to Vice City is rediculous. Sure, they both support violent content and allow freedom, but The Getaway seems like it plays out similar to a movie or something. Supposedly (havn't played it yet), there is [b]nothing[/b] on the screen, and you really don't have as much freedom as Vice City. It doesn't come off as a video game, which is a cool idea, but could really be ruined if it isn't handled with caution. I think I'll rent it first. ;)

I wouldn't have even taken a second look second glance at this game, seeing as that it's a game based off a movie; such titles usually arn't that great. They are made by companies who put the game together quickly and figure that they'll make a lot of money with the title anyway. However, from what is said here, and accounts from friends, it seems like a decent game. I'll rent it first though, heh.

Heh, seems like you could have asked this in your last thread, but it's ok. I think my least favorite would be...er, 007 Agent Under Fire. Don't ask me why, that's just the first thing that popped into my head when I thought of "bad games." It's really the only one that I remember playing and thinking, "man, this sucks." I usually wait until I see a game with high ratings and know that I want it before I get it, so I havn't really been exposed to that many bad titles. I played this one at my brother's friend's house.

Heh, yeah, kinda got out of Dragonball practice even since I've started watching other animes. Well, at least I didn't get the two right, or else people would know exactly which ones I got right and copy mine. But we all know no one would think of doing that here at Otaku. ;)

My favorite game...of all time? Wow...that'll be hard to choose. I want to say Metal Gear Solid 2, but it's probably just because I beat it a few times. >.> Multiplayer games would deffinitly be Super Smash Bro Melee, no coubt about that. Perhaps Perfect Dark? I dunno, maybe Vice City; so much freedom. As you can see, I don't have a definite decision; it's really a tough call to make.

I was actually kind of disapointed that Frodo's voyage wasn't shown more, with him being made out as the main character. He wasn't even [spoiler]in that big battle (helms deep) o_O[/spoiler]. I'm planning on seeing it again, sometime after Christmas with my friend, who has also already seen it. But then, it was a great movie. :D

We also have short exams after each quarter, which lead up to the final grade. I guess it's not that bad, considering I won't be as stressed at the end of the year, but taking more of them throughout the year will totally suck. v_v
