Bleh, you all, what does Neon Genesis Evangelion have to do with Cowboy Bebop (these posts have since been deleted)? I can answer that question, AnimeGurl. There is a topic in the General Anime section that explains there will be a new channel coming to digital cable called the Anime Network. This will be made by ADV, the same company that brought you Neon Genesis Evangelion. So yes, Eva will soon be on TV.

Session #22 : Cowboy Funk, Andy is the competing bounty hunter who is after the same person as Spike. Here's my bio on theOtaku.com: Our first real introduction to another bounty hunter, this guy is a ditz, who doesn't know which way is up. He continues to blame Spike for what the teddy bomber does, and is oblivious to the fact of who the bomber really is. Andy reminds everyone of Spike except...well, Spike. As a bounty hunter, he takes the nickname of cowboy a little too serious with his horse, cowboy hat, etc. In the end, he pisses off Spike so much that the two fight it off, and he ends up loosing and going to his next profession, a samurai. Hope this helps. :)

I just saw it and I must say, I'm surely impressed. I wasn't expecting that much out of it, actually. I thought Goldeneye was an awsome movie, but the two that followed have gotten worse. I was pretty sure that this one was just ging to be another crappy story with the title of James Bond. I was wrong. :) The movie was actually very well made. The acting was great, the cars were spectacular, and the story was good as well. The sound and picture didn't bring down the movie at all, and the action scenes were very realistic. I'd have to say that my favorite part was the car chase in the ice hotel -- lots of action and whatnot. In fact, I thought the movie was so good, I'm hoping to see it again. ^_^ Well, it wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it was great nonetheless.
Originally posted by RoseofDawn a great add on to the series would be further indulgence in the history of spike and viscious, before they became enemies. hopefully, if knockin on heavens door is a hit in theaters, they might be pressured to do just that...
Well, now you're trying to mix the society of Japan and America and whatnot. You see, even it is a hit in theatres here when it comes out dubbed, what makes you think it would influence the creators from Japan to make a sub-series? I'm just saying, Cowboy Bebop is done and over with, even the movie is old news in Japan, so I doubt they'll decide to pick it up.

Hmm, well, thanks. I sure hope it's not the PlayStation 2 because that would be very frustrating. Of course, it's working fine on our friend's PS2, but since then we havn't bothered to use our own. (We as in me and my brother. We share a PS2, lol)

Sure there are, and I know plenty of them. They do have a mix of dubbed and subbed English, so I can't garantee only a specific kind, but I do know of a site inparticular with great prices. ::Is hesitant to post a link:: I'll send you a PM. :)

Yeah, I was wondering if anyone else was experiences unintentional gliches in Vice City. I suppose I've racked up about 30-35 hours, and beat the game, and now I'm getting a ton of gliches. I mean, I'd be driving on my PCG 600 and all of a sudden it say loading and just freeze up. The same thing happened to my helicopter, and since this has just started happening, I feel this is no coincidence. I was even driving along and suddenly fell through the ground. o_O There were also a few more instances, and I want to know... Is this happening to others of you who have been playing this game for a while?

Wow, that was oddly spammatic. ;) We keep talking about it because this thread is devoted to it. o_O We all like it, and perhaps you should respect our opinions as we would to you. Good for you, you hate it, so say so, you don't have to disrespect people with a different opinion. :)

Hmm, well, I heard on TechTV that there was a virus going around where you got an email from your own account, or something along those lines. I don't know if this was the same case, but it sounds similar. Is anything else on your computer messed up?
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel I did an image of her a while back, I don't think otakuartist ever bothered posting it. It was one of the first things I made in Illustrator, so it's based of another image... Not entirely my own work :D.
Wow, that's amazing! If that's bad, I better well not even try, haha.

Before I die...I'd want to watch every anime ever invented, play all the games I'd ever wanted to, get a girlfriend (

I can't really imagine my life without OtakuBoards. It's pretty much a daily routine to go and post here and talk to my friends who post here as well. What would I do if I hadn't found OtakuBoards? I'll tell you -- go on the internet only to find pictures of Dragonball Z pictures to draw. That's what I was basially doing before I came to OtakuBoards back in June '01, and I found this place when I typed a search for "Dragonball Z pictures" or something. I suppose the search engine brought this place because it had a Dragonball forum, and after this site kept coming up, I decided to join. Without this board, I would be interested in only Dragonball Z and no other anime. I wouldn't know much about the internet, and wouldn't have enough motive to care. I'd probably have gotten into video games anyway, and would be totally into it now, rather than anime consuming half of my life. I would not have met some of my best friends on the internet today. In fact, these guys are such good internet friends, that they are closer than most of my personal friends. Everyone here is really nice, but I most especially want to say high to people who have been here since the beginning to help me out -- OutlawDragon (first 'net friend and still my best. You brought me out of just DBZ, showed me the art of websites, showed me around OtakuBoards, and more. I'm even hoping to go and visit your house maybe if I go down to...erm, perhaps you might not want me to say), Lady Saiya-jin (I know you havn't been around in a while, but you are still one of my closes internet friends. You inspired me artistically, and you showed me how much I cared about you when you almost died on 9/11), Shift (long-time 'net friend, you are the best graphics maker I know. You inspired me to make better banners and have been a good friend), and more (ditto)! I really owe a lot to OtakuBoards; they've brought me through a path in life that I cannot imagine living without.

Lol, I've already got all the property, and the assets, and around $500,000. Not really sure what I'm going to do with all of the money, because there's basically nothing left except one more mission, which I'm going to save until I have closer to 100% done. My favorite car is probably the Sabre Tubro or another one that you get from Sunshine Autos when you collect the list of cars.

Phew, quite a lot of cussing. I almost got in trouble for showing it to my little brother, haha. Anyway, it does deal a lot with religion. theOtaku covers much, if not all of it, and you should see what they have. The things I personally have found are the angel arms, Woolfwood is a priest, Knives and Vash are like Adam and Eve (haha, Knives has to be a girl!), and the things mentioned by Woolfwood in his dieing moments; all of which are examples of this. It's interesting to see an anime of which may be based off religion, heh.

I reccommend, on the RPG side, Final Fantasy X. Great storyline, dependable series, and great advantage even over FFIX. I have it, and it is challening, but indeed a very good buy. Another RPG is Kingdom Heart which I hear is supposed to be a very good game, but the difficulty level is high. On the fighting side, it's Virtua Fighter 4 all the way. I got it a few weeks after it cam,e out and I am VERY impressed. The modes are great and original, epecially Kumite. Man, I need to start playing it again. I used to think that Tekken 4 would match it, but I was disapointed when it was released, and it deffinitly didn't stand up to it's predecessors, much less Virtua Fighter 4. Once again: RPG -- Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts Fighting -- Virtua Fighter 4

Lol, SA's right, a tech channel showing anime? Hahaha, hard to believe. In any case, I'm glad that anime is showing up on more channels. I'm also glad that I get this channel. Wooh!!!

Well, this is a club, why do we have to start a brand new one? I myself would have expected spam from there, such as "I love Andy!!! I want to go to his house and ::edited for adult innuendo::!!!!!" That's just my take on the subject. ;)

I was wondering about this as well about a week ago. Not that I have a GCN (wish I did) but my friends who do really want to play their GBA games on the GCN. I think it'll be pretty interesting with the seperate controller, but we'll have to see come later next year. Geeze, it's times like these that I wish I had a GCN. Is it true it will be dropping another $50 soon? o_O I'm hoping on any rumor I hear!!!

Hahaha...TN, you are one great dude. Me? I enjoy posting at the message boards you see before you. :) Oh, and slaving over Adam's work, that always gives me a boost.

This is kind of getting off topic...and I'm glad. :) Now, back at my old middle school, I had this one teacher who taught 6th graders. She was always way too nice to students. Every one of her students absolutely loved her, and everytime she'd walk by a classroom, one of her students would be like, "Hi, Ms. Puea (Pee-a)!!!!!!!!!!" So about a year after I moved from that area, I read in the paper that she was caught in a car, in the middle of the night, with a student. She was obviously fired, then put in jail, and I don't believe she is allowed to teach anywhere in that county or something. It's the best teachers who are the worst, in actuality. Yeah, that's all I wanted to say. o_O I just hope that wasn't the case with your teacher, but it could happen. That winking thing would have scared the hell out of me, seriously. Oh, last year, I had a female teacher who came up behind me when I raised my hand, and started massaging my shoulders. It wasn't right...there were also rumors that she had paintings of naked people in her closet (she was an art teacher) and that she had sex with seniors. I don't reall believe that, but it shows how rumors can go out of proportions.
Originally posted by Ben Holiday Well, I guess it's just me then. I still like all the episodes without the freak arm gun though except for the one where Wolfwood dies all the rest are still good.
I thought the one where Woolfwood dies was pretty good, actually. Do you hate it because you thought it was bad, or because it was sad?

Goin down to South Park gonna have myself a time....
Syk3 replied to Yu Yu Hakusho!'s topic in Noosphere
1,000 POSTS!!! W00T!!! I'M AN OTAKU NOW!!! ::cough:: Anyway, South Park is an awsome show. The new episodes just started and they are halarious! The producers had to previously kill off Kenny for good because, supposedly, it made kids less aware of death and made them think that they could die more than once (why kids were watching this in the first place is beyond me). This year, however, Kenny's soul now lives inside of Cartman. This is ganna be a great season, lol. -
Originally posted by genkai if you wanna check it out you could download the preview or download the show *cough*illegally*hack*, but i hope it's not the latter, we need to support aime in (insert home country here)!!!!!
Ha! What's the point in filling up your hardrive when you could buy it just as easily for $35 on DVD. That's the entire series, by the way. PM me if you're interested, lol. Anywho, you really should check theOtaku.com. Adam made a great section.

Lol, well, the short answer to that would be that Trigun is theOtaku's newest section, and you should check out the site to read more. The longer answer is a bit more lengthy. I wrote it in an earlier thread, but you obviously havn't seen it: Trigun is an anime that takes place on a planet other than Earth, which is noted from it's two stars (much like our sun) and two moons. The story itself is about a man nicknamed Vash the Stampede, for the purpose of his habbit of going into a town, and coming out with the town looking as if it has been hit by a stampede. For this, he has a bounty on his head of 60 billion double dollars (what they call dallars on this planet), although he is portrayed as the victom of an innocent mistake, just being there at the wrong time, but you can conclude one way or another when you watch the series. Joining Vash on his journey to a much happier place is Wolfwood, a traveling priest that carries a gigantic machine gun/bazooka in the form of a cross, and two insurance girls who try to prevent, or at least limit, the amount of insurance needed for Vash's actions, by the names of Meril and Milly. Trigun is shown to be a very comedic anime at first, but gets darker as the series progresses when we learn of Vash's evil brother and his plot to kill humanity.
