Ranma 1/2 is great. It's absolutely halarious, and for that, it's gets my vote for the top of the list on comedy animes. I started watching it in anime club, and was soon begging for it every week, haha. My favorite character is probably...girl Ranma? I dunno, she's just pretty funny. ;)

Anime Akira, the best anime movie of all time?????
Originally posted by Sniper314 In my opion it was ok but i perfer Neon Genisis The End of Evangelion, Neon Genisis Death and Rebirth, Blood the last vampire, and Ghost in the shell. That kind of stuff.
Blood and Ghost in the Shell were pretty good, but Neon Genesis Death and Rebirth? I mean, they put it together nicely, but it is pretty much an overview of the series, and a LOT of figurative thinking. It was very confusing for me, and I have to say Akira is actually better. :) -
They shouldn't be killed, not at all. Is it a crime to be smart? I'd very much hope not. Even if it's only four people, a human life is a human life. I'd also like to think that with them as smart as they are, they wouldn't try anything nearly so distructive. They'd realize that they would be dooming the entire human race to distinction, including themselves. I'll be willing to bet that if they even thought about this, they would die before commiting such an act. One thing though: I'd try to stay on their good side, make them happy. You can't be over-protective. ;)

Oh god, that's horrible. :( At such a young age, and with the killer on the loose, it makes me sick. Why so many people resort to violence nowadays is beyond me, and I just don't understand why they still allow so many guns to be purchased with little effort. Sure, they're enforcing gun laws more, but that seems to only increase shootings. o_O I really hope that the person who committed this crime is caught for at least some supposed closure for the family, although nothing will be the same for them.
Originally posted by 1337 ;) shouldn't this be in the Feedback forum? :D
Lol, wasn't that oddly specific? No, this should not be feedback. We are sharing opinions about the skin, rather than arguing that it should be down. The Feedback, or Suggestions, forum is for trying to make the board better by changing it some way. I don't really see how discussing likes and dislikes about something qualifies it as trying to change the boards, haha.

Haha, I got Marvel vs. Capsom 2 about 3 years ago on Dreamcast (one of the greatest sytems); imagine if they didn't change anything. o_O I love the game itself. I used to be really good and got a heck load of money and bought all these secrets, but then my Dreamcast memory card screwed up the file, and I havn't really played it since. I will not be getting it when it comes to the PS2; what's the point?

Why buy 6 DVDs, $25 each, when you could buy the compact collectors edition for only $35? Haha, that's what I did, but some people just don't get it... When you say CD, you mean VCD, right? As in it plays on your comp? There probably is, but I havn't seen any. Sorry.
Originally posted by Morph The thing above the banner where it says "OtakuBoards.Com." Its really ugly, and the font is bad, I would suggest you take it out... But thats just me....
Yeah, I agree with that. I think this skin would do better with the "Verdana" font, rather than the "Times New Roman."

I've been reluctant to post here, mostly because of the newbie alarm that went off in my head when I first read it, but when I saw how much attention the thread is getting, I finally decided to post. ;) OtakuBoards is personally my favorite forum on the internet. How can I tell this? Well, it's mainly because this was the first board I joined (woah, I was a major spammer back then) and currently, a year and a half later, it's the board I remain most loyal to. OtakuBoards is a very friendly place with lots of cool people, where rules are enforced but you can still hang out and have fun. There are many people with lots of interests, so you can have a decent discussion with someone who, say, is also a big fan of Cowboy Bebop. Having it's own site is a good thing as well; if there's one thing I warn about making a forum, it's that you should have a site to go along with it. The main reason for this is that the boards will get a lot more traffic and bring people who like the things on the site. From version 2 to version 6, this board has changed a lot on the outside, but it's still the same awsome forum.

Lol, what were the cops going to do? "This man says you nearly hit his car, now put your hands behind your back and kiss the ground!!!" But yeah, I hate people who just go up to someone just for a fight. He's a wimp; watch someone kick his *** one of these days, haha. And another thing, I think some people are overly concerned about their car. Someone goes by and they start crying that they almost hit the car? Pathetic.

Gaming Your favorite video game villain of all time...
Syk3 replied to Jinzouningen17's topic in Noosphere
This thread sounds very familiar...and no, it wasn't the hero one I'm talking about...ah, well. My favorite villians are Sephiroth, Bowser (Koopa), and...well, that's it really, lol. o_O -
Originally posted by spike speigel I like both side, actually. i think they mixed well. Just they way the creators blended them was perfect.
EXACTLY!!! I mean, I absolutely loved the comedic side, but I had a taste for action as well. I really can't say that I like an anime if it's all directed towards a single genre, and I love how well the creators blended them. It was a nice variety, and a great series.

I really don't like my parent's taste in music either, but is it actually possible to these days? You have your parents who grew up in the 60s or something, and then you've got teenagers; it's not going to happen. They usually listen to classical music and such, deffinitly not my type. But then, I don't actuall go crazy over music, so it's not that big a deal, unless they try to change the radio to such in the car.

OMG, that has to be the best video game commercial I've ever seen. It had him crawling around, running in a box, then at the end...LOL..he gets caught outside his window and the exclamation mark goes off. :bluesweat

What are you talking about? What does "OOC" mean? I didn't see it, so please explain. o_o

Metal Gear Solid 2 was the best game of the year, and probably of all time. I loved the story, and how you could be Raiden for almost the entire game! The game was very well made, and I loved the ending. W00!!!!!!!!!! :) Ahh, had to get that off my chest. To much negativity. ;) People who know me know that I'll be getting Substance. It has everything from the original (duh) and more, making it so that you can have more guns, different costumes, and even play as Snake through the whole game for those of you who disliked it for that reason only. They have more stuff too, like VR missions and such, playing out like a directors cut of Metal Gear Solid 2. I'm just angry that Microsoft got to the game first.
Originally posted by genkai why did i put it in qoutation marks? i know not..... it was not late enough for me to be coherent....0_0 anyway, that's what i was thinking, that knives is as close to an island as any man could be, but that he is not. His hatred for humanity shows as well as his care of Vash, but he is so messed up (butterfly.......), which makes the situation ...akward yet..........i dunno... if i did, i wouldnt have started this thread ^_-
o_O What was that? Do you mind putting a little more though into your posts? Lol, just kind of hard to understand. First we're talking about Knives, now an island? Where did that come from? And what the heck did the butterfly have to do with anything?!

Dude, this skin totally rocks, Shift! (Sorry I wasn't online) I love all of the images, especially tha banner. They are all so original looking, it's...awsome! It deffinitly has a new feel to it, but I was kind of looking for a change. The only thing is that the last "s" behind the banner sticks out a bit on the right, the screen is a tad wide for us 800 x 600 people, and where they welcome the newest member kind of goes down to the next line and screws it up. Other than that...perfect.
Originally posted by boogeta I want to see so bad but one of the actors died so I dont think they will not have her in there but I forgot who that was:cross: :(
That was Aaliyah, and I believe we were just talking about her. Try checking out some earlier pages. ;)
Originally posted by boogeta I'm not saying its dumb I'm just saying that they have way to much nonsense in it and the same with all the other shows on nickelodeon for example the fairly odd parents doesnt have that much nonsense put it's realy stupid Im just saying would you want yourbrother or sister running around acting like spongebob
I find it to be the other way around, actually. Fairly Odd Parents seems like constant nonsense while Sponge Bob Square Pants, in my opinion, is pretty darn funny. hahah Sure, there's some nonsense, but it's not completely random, and it's stuff that's really funny. Spongebob is great.
Originally posted by amibasuki I have no intention of seeing the second movie. the first one screwed up my image of the book bad enough as it is, I'm sure this one wouldn't help much either.
True, the book was better, but I'd see all the movies anyway for...uhh, closure I suppose. I just wouldn't feel right if I never saw one of the movie versions when I had the chance, you know? And I wholeheartedly agree with Sara; it is pretty cool to see how other people imagined the book, heh.

That 70's Show is awsome, lol. They keep you laughing through the whole show, and it almost never gets boring. My favorite character is Fez. "No...I say good day." "Ohhh...Fu. That's a good one Hide!" haha As for That 80's Show, it's the stupidest idea that anyone ever came up with for a show on Fox. It's not funny at all, even the idea is retarded. I saw it once and HATED it. I'm so glad they took it off the air.

I saw it yesterday; it was...okay. I mean, I felt that it was better than the first, but they need a lot better actors, and there were some parts that they could have made more similar to the book, regardless of time, but they changed it and made it worse. The bad thing about the acting was that the people were either saying their line too fast, or just not in character. A perfect example of this was Ron's dad, who was a horrible actor. On the contrary, Malfoy and his father are both great actors (did you notice his dad from The Patriot?). I suppose that it's easier to play an evil character than a good one. The action scenes, however, were better than the first one. For example, on the first one, the person playing Harry was quoted saying he enjoyed the part when he was under the invisibility cloak; not much action. In the second movie, he was quoted saying that he liked the part where he almost fell out of a flying car. Which one has more action? You decide. I'll probably watch it again, to understand it better and whatnot. That's usually when I make my final decision on a movie. This one was better than the first, in my opinion, but I still didn't like it that much.

You'd do better putting that in your sig. Just one question though, if you knew this was going to be closed, then why post it? o_O
