My name is Gregory, but I hate being called that. Just...Greg. My parents said I was named after someone named Gregory Hines. They said they liked the name...so yeah. I don't exactly enjoy being named after someone inparticular, especially someone with the last name "Hines," but I've obviously gotten used to the name. My middle name, which I decline to state, was given to me in an endless line of fathers who have the same name. It was so because they were always only childs, but I was the first one in, like, a century to have a brother, and he has a different middle name (named after my grandfather). Explaining how I got my last name is uterly pointless. o_O

I thought that only the military (I think) and the Boy Scouts were allowed to burn the flag, but whatever. I would really dispise anyone who would burn the American Flag. If you're an American, that's hardly a way to show respect for your county, and even if you arn't, then...erm...you're just jealous!!! jk But still, I have to say that burning the flag is morally wrong, if anything. Oh, and if it touches the ground, I'm not sure what to believe. On one hand, you're not supposed to let it touch the ground anyway, but on another, touching the ground doesn't ruin it, persay. Well, I dunno... As for the topic at hand, If you cut out the stars, then you've already ruined the flag, so yes, it is just a peace of cloth then, in my opinion.

Oh god, I hate that. My toe will hurt like hell if someone touches it (imagine if they step on it) and I've ruined countless socks that are now partly bloody. I'm probably going to be going through the same surgery that you did, so can you tell me what's going to happen? Tips maybe or whatever?

I used to collect them, a long time ago. I got a lot too, and a few rare ones, but now that I look back, I'm not quite sure why I started collecting them in the first place. o_O Anywho, I plan to sell them in the future when they become a collectors item and all that. ::imagines all the cash he'll get::

I have to say...either Auron (FFX), Cloud (FFVII), or Solid Snake. They had some cool bad*ss attitudes, and were perfectly skilled next to others in their buisness.
Originally posted by AnimeGurl My favorite episode are Ballad of Falling Angels, The Real Folk Blues and Jupiter Jazz Blues. I love those episodes.
Oh, yes, I can tell very much why. These are the episodes that get into the plot. While the rest of the sessions are usually side-stories, these 3 (actually 5) are the ones that define the plot and my favorite character, Vicious. I love it how they wern't always in the plot 100% percent of the time, but when they were, they outdid themselves in creation.
-
Well, it was pretty touching with all of the romance and all. And then when Spike...woops, almost did another spoiler. Anywho, yeah, it's going to leave a mark whether you're a fan of any anime.

Session #03 : Honky Tonk Women was good too (Geeze, everything you guys state is a favorite of mine!). It was originally my favorite episode, since it introduced Faye into the series, and had some nice tunes as well. BTW, I love her outfit, such a tight fit. ;) The plot in that session was wrung together so nicely, and it's so realistic in so many parts -- debt, gambling, and even non-smoking areas, LOL.
Originally posted by Suzuka if it`s not to late to join
Nope, not too late. Man, this club has come pretty far, and there are a lot of members. I think we should do something together now, like have an aim chat or something. But then, not everyone has an aim name, so should we have discusions here? But if we have discussions here, then how would we know what to make as a new topic or just discuss here. Man, this stuff is confusing. o_O

A laughing icon, yet "so sad." Kinda contradicts itself, don't you think? I really like the session, but the music just gets on my nerves in the credits. However, the way it is thrown into the series is awsome, I think. It really captures what's going on at that moment, and the beat is nearly perfect. The episode is pretty sad, when...well, that would be a spoiler. ;) Of course, the session is pretty cool too. It explains a lot about the plot, and it is indeed very romantic as well. But I stand by what I said in your other topic. Why not put this in the favorite session topic?
-
Actually, it really is anything but funny. In fact, it's one of the first serious episodes of Cowboy Bebop. Not that it isn't cool, not at all, it's my absolute favorite session. But I do think that AnimeGurl needs to watch her post quality a *little* bit. Kinda throws folks off a bit. ;) I don't really think that you need to be making an entirely new thread about this session. I'm not a mod, but if you like this session why not post so in the Favorite Sesion topic?

A agree with both of you. Session #20 : Pierrot Le Fou, and Session #17 : Mushroom Samba are two of the greatest sessions in Cowboy Bebop. Mushroom Samba for it's comedy, and Pierrot Le Fou for it's sheer amazing action scenes, both of which are a few of my favorite episodes. A particular one I hate, however, is Session #11 : Toys in the Attic. It's just so stupid that decayed food is biting people on the Bebop. And the way it finally dies...pathetic.
Originally posted by OutlawDragon Are you talking about the one dude that Vicious has for a BG when he is dealing with Gren? I'm trying to remember his. He is the younger brother of some guy that was close to Spike. Man, what is his name! Shin! That's it right. And his brother was Lin. I'm the greatest. J/P Lataz -OD
No, no, you got it mixed up. Shin is the guy she's talking about. Lin was his younger brother and has nothing to do with anything. He was in Jupiter Jazz (Part 1 and 2), and Shin was in the last two eps. She's talking about the second to last eps.

We don't usually allow favorites, but I believe this is the first of it's kind! So..yeah... Anyway, my favorite episode is, no doubt, Session #5 : Ballad of Fallen Angels. This episode is the first one to actually get into the vibrant and detailed plot, and we meet the villian of Cowboy Bebop, Vicious. This episode has it all: action, death, mystery, sci-fi, comedy, and a taste of romance; all combining to form one heck of an episode. Another reason why I like this session is because it plays my favorite song, rain, as Spike is entering the cathedral to fight Vicious. The song matches the tone perfectly and has a very nice rythm. I think if there is one episode someone could watch and be instantly hooked to Cowboy Bebop, it's this one. ;) Edit: Welcome to the OtakuBoards, you did the right thing by going ahead and posting in forums that interest you. :)

Well, actually, reviving threads is better than making the exact one over again. I think that's what mods are more concerned about. But if you just bring back an old topic for no reason, like you're just agreeing with everyone else and are not helping the conversation, then there is really no point. But, ok, I see your point. Lets hope the mods do too.
Originally posted by amibasuki if you want a really good place for music videos, go to http://www.dbcollection.com/trunks (I'm not trying to advertise, I'm just saying that, well, it's a really good place for music videos :cross: )
If that was for me, note that I said PM me so that this stuff doesn't happen, lol. I think I'm going to downlaod a few anime music videos on KaZaA now.

I actually hope that this will be a channel that you have to pay for. I already have that line-up anyway, and if they make you pay, chances are tht they will show these shows completely uncut. That would be very cool, lol. I don't really like the icon either. I guess that they have an okay design on the side, but it's kind of plain. Ah, well, it's what's on the channel that counts.

I don't usually download music videos because of how slow my computer is, but the thought of it is very intriguing. I'd probably be most interested in a Cowboy bebop music video, Trigun, Eva, Outlaw Star, and maybe even DBZ. If anyone knows of where to get a really tight one of those, then just PM me. BTW, that's an awsome avatar, amiboshi.

If you knew that it was going into the Cowboy Bebop forum, then why did you not put it there? o_O So...you're not putting it there because you're not a fan of it? HAHAHAHAHAHA...::cough:: I think the movie is great. I was waiting until it was dubbed to buy it, but I decided to just go ahead and get it subbed. I really liked it, especially the action scenes, like the one on the train. The music is also amazing. Yoko Kano really outdid themselves this time. Edit: In any case, I found another thread in the Bebop forum for the movie. Just continue it here. I knew I talked about it here before...
Originally posted by Break Come on guys, please stay on topic or I'll close this. This is just for codes. And I was just wondering, are the codes the same for Vice City, and are there any new ones?
Nope, they are completely different. My little brother memorized all of the GTAIII ones, and claims that none of them work in this game. But just as well, it shows that they arn't lazy in putting content in. As for codes that do work, I'm sure a lot more sites have them now.
Originally posted by Pepper Syk3: Hold it, Chii isnt an anime. Chii is the charecter from a Manga called Chobits o.O;; i think they have an anime but i doubt it's called Chii...or is it?
Erm, well, I was watching it dubbed over at someone's house and they were trying to tell me that the series was called Chii. Ah, well, it probably is Chobits. As for Pet Shop of Horrors, it is indeed an anime. I saw it at my anime club once, and it's about people whose loved ones die and they are somehow attracted to this pet shop. Well, when they go to get a pet, the pet has the appearence of their dead loved one, and they are always given a warning, then told that the pet shop has no liability if they break it. Somehow, they always break the warning and get killed or whatever. So anyway, this cop starts investigating and -- meh, I've already said too much. But yeah, that's the basic idea of it.
