Originally posted by genkai and that guy who said they ahated DBZ with a passion, those are the exact words of aries..wait, he's kinetic now whatever..
Uhh, okay... I appreciate you remembering and all, but I never heard him say that, lol. I just thought that I didn't like DBZ anymore, but I used to love it. So I hate it, but at the same time admire it for the time when I used to like it. I hate it with a passion. No one can say that they invented that phrase. o_O As for DBGT, It's not going to take 2 or 3 months, lol. More like 2 or 3 years. Meh, ok, 2 years. Remember how the only show about 50 eps per season? Well, with 64 (I think) eps, they most likely will cut it in half, expecting to get a large profit like they are currently doing with DBZ.

Gaming Estimated total amount of time you will spend playing Vice City
Syk3 replied to severous84's topic in Noosphere
How many hours we will spend playing it? Well, I know I've been playing it for about...uhh...6 to 7 hours so far. I can't really estimate how many hours I will spend in the future because of all of the replay value. A year from now I still may be playing it a lot. Maybe, but I doubt it. -
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy Yes, if you've controlled the RC copter early on you'll have a very good indication of how the actual helicopter operates.
Yes, indeed. Oh, nice avatar btw. It remind me of someone's...::GASP:: AHH!!! And Crazy White Boy, yes, I will do it. You havn't been on aim for a while, and your pm box is full, but yes. You know what it means.
Originally posted by amiboshi I'm glad to hear they're changing some of the all-dbz lineups... There was just a little too much of that on... I don't really care for G-Gundam either, but it's better than DBZ.
I hate DBZ with a passion, but deffinitly agree that they should have changed the full-DBZ lineups. They need to make room for shows once DBZ ends, in case another show attracts that much attention. As for the other shows that are being replaced, I don't really care for them, nor do I the shows that are being put there instead. So let me look at it this way; in one hand anime, the other cartoons. [sarcasm]Desicions, desicions.[/sarcasm]
Originally posted by SSJ Gotenks ok I havent heard about the hillocoptors??Has anyone used them yet??And how iz tha handiling??
Calm down, lol. I havn't used the helicopters, persay. I've used a demo of them in the mission, so I kind of know the feel, but my brother has used the real thing. Judging by the mission, it seems that it takes a bit to get used to (such as the L2, R2 rotates) but it's generally pretty easy, easier than flying the dodo plane in GTAIII.

Let me get this straight, so Toonami used to show the opening to Outlaw Star, and then they changed it?...or something. In any case, I really love that song. It's one of the things that got me into the series, and later to buy it.

I found another topic of Metropolis instead that you could continue the discussion. Please continue it here. Oh, and change your sig. The image is not 500 px wide, but it is over 100 px high. ;)

I see, and when is this happening? I suppose that it doesn't affect me, because I've stopped wathing Cartoon Network. Well, at least they are showing anime, even if it is Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Originally posted by Vampire Hunter D Nice poem. I really liked it. You may actully have some talent.
Heh, thank you. I was hesitant to do this project at first, and waited until the last second to do it. I thought it was going to turn into an absolute disaster.

There is a Passion, I can?t live Without, Like a small Ration, For a starving Doubt; Games do I Play, Video games in Fact, Never could I Lay, Unsure of my Tact; I play sport Games, I play racing Games, I play rpg Games, I play fighting Games, I play action Games; Life is a Game, And I play Life. -------- This was an English assignment. Fifteen lines of poetry with three poetic devices (I used rhyme, metaphor, and similie). I actually think it turned out okay. :) EDIT: Here's the hyped up image, which I will be printing out, "mounting on construction paper," then turning in. Meh, it was this or cuting out images from magazines, and I didn't want to make the paper all messed up with glue, lol.

I've kind of grown out of Halloween a couple years ago.

Man, I bet you've had better halloweens. If you had your costums on, you probably should have kicked their asses without them knowing who you are. ::imagines a mysterious person in a Scream outfit beating the **** out of them then walking away:: Sweet... All I can say now is watch your backs, and be prepared in case something like this happens again.

What do I want for Christmas? I'm probably going to ask for a new computer (Pentium 4, 60 gigabyte hardrive, Windows XP, DVD-rom, CD burner) and lots of anime and video games. ^_^ I actually already got a VERY early Christmas present. Since I lost my old one, (more like it was stolen by the cable dude) I got a brand new gold necklace with a cross. Personally, I can't wait for Christmas. It's my favorite time of the year, and I hope this year is the same!

Yeah, it does, but why does the url say "hentaibomb?" o_O

Well, there are a few Sessions that were initially based off tunes, title-wise. Honky Tonk Women was one, as you said, and Bohemiem Rapsody. I don't really think that they could have replaced any songs because I think they're perfect the way they are; Yoko Kano is the greastest.
Originally posted by Matt Codes are for panseys! If you want more health, just pick up a ho
LOL, you don't have to act cool on this game by not using codes. If you're doing a mission, yeah, you have no life. But if you're just playing around, using codes is awsome in that game. Anyway, I found some codes. -Infinite Health R1, R2, L1, O, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up -Body Armor R1, R2, L1, X, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up -Slow Motion Triangle, up, right, down, square, R2, R1 -Weopns Code R1, R2, L1, R2, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up -Flying Car Right, R2, O, R1, L2, down, L1, R1 Have fun!
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy This post will now make history, because it marks the first ever Crazy White Boy crazy tip of the day: Get a new television. :p
Yeah, the television is pretty crappy, but luckily we switched the PS2 to a different one. Anyway, I just changed it, and didn't have time to see the difference. Crap, the bell!!!
Originally posted by OutlawDragon I forgot a song that I really like: "Gotta Knock a Little Harder" Pretty good, kinda weird for me though, I usally don't like this kind of music... heh, listen to it and you'll see why. Lataz -OD
Man, "Rain" is the absolute best, song-wise in Cowboy Bebop. You know, the one in Session #5 : Ballad of Fallen Angels, when Spike goes to fight Vicious in the catherdral? Yeah, that's the one. I think it's great because it fits the mood, and I love both the tune and words. Perfect.

Yeah, I see what you mean now. The second one looks more like a female or Japanese with those eyes. o_O I don't know, they may have been done by the same artist; I mean, in some cases it just may be the shading, like when that thing is pointed to his eye. The artist may have merely been trying to convey him in that cirtain space, and it looked different. I can't tell you how different my pictures that I've drawn are from each other.
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy When I got it today, I immediately went to the visual options and switched the trail effect off. I'm sure that it's supposed to appear soft and colorful, to adhere to the graphic direction, but the visuals look so crisp and defined without it. Let it be known that I hate the trail effect.
Hmm, that's interesting. It's the Trail option, right? I can't see the difference, but I took your word for it. :) I think that the aspect I like of Vice City the very most has to be the street bikes. Apart from style, they hold, from what I can see so far, the highest speed of any vehicle in the game. The turning isn't that bad, and since it's skinny you can go many places that a car simply could not. At the moment I'm trying to find a code or something that lets you jump into the air with it. ::can imagine flying over the cars at top speed:: Scha-weet....
-
Yeah, as far as I know, no codes have been released publically. In addition, my brother has memorized the GTAIII codes, and no, they don't work on Vice City as well. So you're going to have to wait a few weeks. My brother was pretty anxious about cheats as well, but I couldn't find them on the 'net. I'm surprised that you even found those codes, lol. Wait...this is for Vice City, right?
Originally posted by amiboshi or Ranma 1/2.
Deffinitly, Ranma 1/2 is great. My friend let me borrow the first manga, and it's just as funny as the show, if not funnier. And yeah, I suppose I like manga, not as much as anime, but meh, that's just people's preferences. However, I can admit that the book makes it easier to understand. You can read back and everything. But anime is still cooler because you see it in color, the characters have voices, and it's so much more realistic and dramatic.

Well, it was bound to happen - the first thread devoted to how you feel about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City thus far. ;) What were your first impressions? Too much like the last game? Better or worse than the ever so popular Grand Theft Auto 3? **SPOILERS** I think it's pretty cool. The graphics, sadly, have not improved other than obvious minor tweaks. The gameplay, too, feels very much the same, and I felt lost when I first got it: no money, no guns, no nothing. However, the level that you start on is indeed very big and detailed, and it makes up for some of the loses. Driving from one end of the beach to the other took about a minute and a half to two minutes, and that's on a high speed car. Talk about a large perimiter to explore. Speaking of the car, the way that you can now jump out is a very nice improvement. Instead of having to slow down, you can just fall right out of the car before it blows up, adding some interesting possibilities in the future. Also, they have now added dirt bikes, as well as dirt bike courses. Very cool. I think the best thing about this new title is that it gives you a break from the last levels, and throws you into a completely different world and timeline. Through the missions, I'm hoping that it lives up to it's name, but currently with my brother wanting to play as well, I havn't gotten a chance to try to beat them.

That's amazing, I had no idea she did all of those voice. The last thing I would have guessed would be a part in Power Rangers, lol, but anything can happen I suppose. My favorite character she has voiced that I know of has got to be Faye. I mean to say, she put so much character into that voice.
Originally posted by OutlawDragon Red Eye is a drug that enhances the user's fighting abilty. From what I saw it kinda slowed down time so you can see punches and bullets coming and dodge them. This kinda reminds me of the Adreniline pill in Grand Theft Auto 3. To use Red Eye you use a special sprayer that sprayes the fluid on your eye. Hope that answers your question. Lataz -OD
Yeah, that's a much better description of it. Short, easy to understand, and effective. Laymans' terms.
