As you said, Red-Eye is a very pure substance that takes 3 months to make. It is sold on the black market for well over 20 million Woolongs. The Red-Eye itself is basically a drug. It comes in liquid form, which you spray in your eye, and everything turns red through the eyes of the person taking it. Hence the name Red-Eye. What it does is increase your speed so that it appears as if everyone else is slowing down. It does give you some strength, but it is mostly intended for your speed. This usually makes the person that takes it over confident with his eyes, thinking that he can see everything at once, but in actuality, the drug messes with your brain to the point where you're so addicted to taking it that you can't concentrate when the time comes to fight. It's a very simple process, but hard to explain. Try watching episode one, and it really explains everything. The only other time that it is even mentioned in the series in Juppiter Jazz Parts 1 and 2, where Vicious is buying Red-Eye from Gren.

Ok, turn away from the screen, and listen to her voice, erm, dubbed. Can you guess who it sounds familiar too? FAYE VALENTINE!! ::cough:: Anyway, these series seem to have come out around the same time, maybe Outlaw Star came sooner, so it's amazing how much work this lady is doing. I dunno, maybe it's not her. I'm crazy.

Figure Vice City is coming out tommarrow, and egm is following...I guess Saturday afternoon, heh.

Hmm, I never really noticed it. I guess I've always been looking away, had it on in the background.

I used to have the ichannel at my old house. But man, that was back in the day when 9:00 (the time dbz, the only anime I watched, came on where I was back then) seemed late and made me tired o.O Anyway, I can't find it on any of my channel providers I have anymore. I wish I had treasured that channel when I had it, lol. Oh, and does locomotion come on digital cable? If so, what channel?
Originally posted by sandramaxwell06 actually, looking at the picture isn't cheating. if i want to draw a character perfect, i need to see the pic. and it think its a good thing that youta wants to improve his pics. there's always room for self improvement. i have some pics in the art&design area, the thread is drawings. (very uncreative name) i have some more pics there!
I totally agree that looking at a pic isn't cheating. When people are watching me draw Dragonball Z pictures mirrored off a picture I printed out, they say that I'm tracing, but there is a HUGE difference. By tracing, you basically copy someone elses work. You need no skill, and you try to get credit for it. By looking at another picture, on the other hand, you can practice drawing detail and forming your own techniques. It takes a lot of skill and pacients even then, because you need to know exactly how to curve that certain line without tracing it. Of course, your own work would be a lot more creative, but looking at a picture is the first step. You must get used to drawing anime before you go off and try to draw your own. I'm starting to draw on my own, but I had to start with years of practice and looking at other pictures. Lots of people forget that, and then when they try to draw on their own, they totally mess up.
Originally posted by Ben Holiday I am a huge fan of this movie the artwork was well done and the spirits of the forest were cool looking.
Yeah, I deffinitly agree that the artwork was very well done. There was lots of detail, and the lighting effects were good too.

The really don't go into detail about they're relationship, other than that they're married and have kids. I suppose you can say that about them individually, but it's hard to assume what they'd be like together. Maybe they'd cross each other out. o_O
Originally posted by VP-Master O god. I just asked for cheats not for someone to tell me its morally and ethically wrong to use them (even though they're right).
LOL, but that game's previous versions (except 2) were so damn easy. It's given that this probably will too when you get the hang of it.

The name of the song? Hmm, which time, the train or on top of the tower? I'll have to watch it again.

Anime Akira, the best anime movie of all time?????
Syk3 replied to Darkness's topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by Sephiroth There is no such thing as best anime of all time, it always reflects on people's tastes and opinions
Yeah, that's true. If you give action, you lose it to people who want romance, and vice versa. This goes most especially for anime movies, because if you try and put all of these different characteristic into it, it will just turn out bad. Hence, it will fall in line with a certain group of people, while other groups will like some other movie. Bleh, I talk too much. -
Originally posted by Kinetic [spoiler-highlight to read]I think he was made by the crew of the ship he was on. Genetic splicing, between human genes and the genes of plants[end spoiler]
Yeah, that could be true, but it appeared as if the crew found them. Your theory would account for how fast they grow though, but look like humans. This still leaves the question of why Knives felt so superior to humans.

I guess I saw it about a year ago and thought it was pretty good. It wasn't my absolute favorite, but the story was pretty interesting. I dunno, I think this movie is overratted and gets too much attention.

Anime Akira, the best anime movie of all time?????
Syk3 replied to Darkness's topic in Otaku Central
I just saw Akira last night, anmd from what I can tell it's pretty darn good. It is deffinitly a classic, but that doesn't mean that it's not better than more recent movies. At the moment, I'm not really sure what my favorite anime movie is, but this on is up there. Oh, and KANATA'S VOICE IS VASH'S FROM TRIGUN!!! -
I hate to insult Evangelion, but they really over-do flashbacks, especially in the last few episodes. I mean it, they keep showing the same stuff over and over, and then they have Shinji or whoever go absolutely mad, and see all these flashbacks. Meh, it got me kind of annoyed, but the rest of the series is good.

Meh, I can't believe that I just noticed this now. You guys got this idea from the Bebop club, didn't ya? ;) LOL, it's a good idea either way. 1. Syk3 2. Gene Starwind 3. Episode 23: The Hot Springs Planet Tenrei 4. Syk326 Hope to have some AIM chats!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is out?!? And here I was so busy worrying about Vice City, lol. In other words, no, I don't have any cheats. To use cheats on that game is not cool. It's not impossible to beat it, so why not try to do it yourself before running to cheats?
-
It's just 'Sonic Advance', in case you'd like to know, lol. I'm pretty sure you could let it set, but if you wanted it done faster try playing around with the options. I can't remember exactly, I'll get back to you. Oh, and only one image per sig. :nono: Look into my banner!
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel http://www.nintendo.com/games/gamepage/description.jsp?gameId=593#about
Players who own both Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime will be able to access sweet special features by connecting the two systems using the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable. If you've completed Metroid Fusion, you can unlock the original NES version of Metroid in Metroid Prime. Just connect the two systems and you're ready to play. You can even save your game data directly to a Nintendo GameCube Memory Card. After completing Metroid Prime and connecting the two games, you'll be able to play through the game wearing Samus's Fusion Suit from Metroid Fusion.[/qoute] Pretty cool... Although I hope you can use the Fusion suit whenever you start a new game, and not just in the file you already finished.
That's pretty cool. I knew there was going to be a hook-up, but I hadn't heard the specifics. I know -- I'll beat Fusion, and then I'll beat on my friends until they beat Prime. :P

Ok, the flashback went to an old movie, called Dead Zone for American viewers. It had Garlic Junior who was after the Dragonballs, and the clip that you saw was Gohan trying to stand up to him. Garlic Junior is the son of Garlic, a man who competed with Kami for gardian of Earth, but was turned down. Garlic Junior's deal is now to get back at Kami for getting that spot. So, he starts by gathering the Dragonballs to get immortality. Since Gohan has one on his hat, his henchmen take it, Gohan and all. Soon, Goku, Krillin, and Piccolo all go to Garlic Junior's palace, but he has already wished for immortality. He opens up the Dead Zone, a place of emptyness that he plans to send everyone, but Gohan stands up to him at 5 years old and knocks him into the dimension instead. Thus, the Garlic Junior saga picks up after Garlic Junior finds a way out of that dimension.

Lots of animes have morals. Let's see... The moral for Dragonball Z? That's simple, it shows that good will always rein over bad. Vegeta himself realizes this during his time in Majin. That, and the rest of the story surely accounts for it, lol. Cowboy Bebop's moral would be that money makes the world go 'round. I mean to say, money has caused Faye to go on the run because of massive debt, and the Bebop gang continuely starves because of the lack in bounties, which would otherwise bring money in, hence buying more food. I think some animes tend to forget that. The morals for Evangelion are NUMEROUS, especially at the last few episodes. One inparticular lesson that Shinji learns is that the way people see you in their eyes, isn't far from how you really are. It sounds stupid, but it took Shinji almost an episode to realize it. Also, just because you believe someone to hate you for doing something stupid, doesn't mean that they really do, or something like that. Man, Shinji is one crazy dude. As for Trigun, I'd have to say that the moral would be that your ticket to the future is always blank. Rem tells Vash this when he is just a child, and it means that you can change your path to the future at any time, and start over.

Hmm, rare animine...(say that, it sounds cool :D) Yeah, people probably mentioned these already, but what the heck: -GTO -Pet Shop of Horrors -Dragon Half -Those Who Hunt Elves (Meh, some people may not know about it) -Chii I know it's pretty pathetic, but that's from someone who has a VERY bad memory. ;)

Erm, Desiivy cheated off of me. Good job...to everyone else. :D
Originally posted by James Anyway, yeah...best to think of this game as a "first person Zelda". The game really does control much like Zelda and in terms of exploration and objectives...I wouldn't call it a standard FPS-type game. At least not in the vein of Goldeneye or TimeSplitters.
I agree. Comparing Goldeneye and Metroid Prime over and above the first person perspective is rediculous. It may feel the same for those of you who have motion sickness, but I believe that Metroid Prime's base is going to be exploring. Even if there is combat, it's going to rely on skill with different techniaues, rather than how fast you can pull the trigger, and then reload.
