Originally posted by MajinBuu Well, I think that a Spike series would be cool. I have always wondered about Spike's past and his partnership with Vicious and his relationship with Julia.
Yeah, well, I didn't pick Spike for obvious reasons. I mean, I took the Cowboy Bebop series mainly about Spike, as he is the main character, LOL. ;) But yeah, I'm actually trying to write sort of a fan fic about the past of each main character. Should be pretty interesting.
Originally posted by zerocrisis it was sad but it was appropriate you have to admit but i was really sad but the cinematography was beautiful especially when
Julia died(sob,sob)
i liked the birds flying in the background and the music playing while every thing else was silent and the rain effects that was so kool
I do agree, but perhaps you could use puncuation to make your statements more legible.

The first game I got was Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64. Man, classic first-person shooter -- a evolution that paved way for many similar first-person shooters and started a new era, in a sense. I got that back in Christmas of 1998, and have since beatin EVERYTHING in that game. What a doosy...
Originally posted by Shadow I think that the first game I ever played was Super Mario World, but I still haven't beaten it. Does anyone else think that modern games are easier than old games?
Umm, no, actually. I'm what some would call a "modern-day gamer" because of how late I got into gaming (6th grade), but I beat Super Mario World ported to the GBA in less that a month with all of the coins and everything. I beat it two more times after that before I got bored of it. I believe that modern games have a lot more potential because they can store much more memory to add longer and harder levels, and with 3 dimensional worlds, the programers could induce a lot more obstacles/make it harder, but that's questionable.
Originally posted by Dark_Apocalyps Cool game, sucky end (cause of the shortness of the game) and to short.
I didn't find it that short, actually. I'm in the middle of it right now, in fact, and it seems long enough at the moment. You probably find it short because you're setting the bar high; you've played long rpgs before and expect Golden Sun to be just as long. For a gameboy advance game, this is pretty long, and since this is one of the first rpgs I've gotten into in a while, this is a really great and long game.

Metroid Prime is indeed my most anticipated game of this year. Therefore, I must force my fiends who have GCN to get the game IMMEDIATELY...if they don't do it themselves. Not only do the graphics look absolutely amazing, but the set-up looks great as well. I mean to say, with all of that stuff around the "visor" in first-person, this is sure to give Halo a run for its money. I have also found through reading internet sites and gaming magazines that the levels will be pretty large. Can you say...explore? (not literally v_v) Although I do not have GCN to get Prime, I do have GBA to get Fusion. I am really hoping that this game lives up to what I've heard thus far about it's predecesors, mainly Super Metroid. With the 2d system, Fusion can use some great classes techniques that made Metroid a hit in the first place. I'm putting some high standards on this game, and I'm really hoping that Fusion turns out good.

I chose other, as in Ed and Ein. I believe that they would do great if they had their own series. Of course, it would be mostly comedy, but it would be good nonetheless. However, I'm not sure how long this thread is going to last. It has little to do with Cowboy Bebop and it is similar to picking a favorite character, which is against the rules.

Unfortunately, my local stores (i.e. Walmart) doesn't allow you to reserve a copy. Although, this might be a good thing, because my mom is going to pick up a copy on the 29th, and with some luck I might get it. :) That employee better not be lieing. :shifty:
Originally posted by amiboshi I saw Zoids once or twice, but I wasn't really impressed by it. I dunno, I don't really care if they took it off CN or not. I didn't find the show extremely interesting or anything...
Yeah, I second that. If I saw it, it was only for a part of an episode, and it didn't seem that great. Besides, I don't watch Toonami that often any more anyway.

Shift, I've never in my entire life seen someone with so much time on their hands to write a HUMONGOUS...erm, whatever it is...that I won't/can't read it. *_* But you get an 'A' for effort, for sure!

Yeah, I got the hang of it. And since I have no life I even made up an anime schedual composed of different anime programs in order of when they come on. I found two channels - ACTNe/w (Action, I found it! ^.^) and SHOBe/w (Showtime Beyond). The Action channel will be great. I'm planning to watch Metropolis tommarrow night, heh.
-
Action Channel, eh? That's the name of it? I have digital cable, but I need the channel number. Meh...aaaand any other channels that have anime as well :D Edit: ::is looking on channel lineup:: Is this the same as "Action Max E" and "Action Max W?"
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy I have no idea what the heck you just said Greg
I was replying to a previous post whereas the person was verifying some information. They asked if it is true that Gohan is strongest person in the universe at the time that he becomes Mystic. Now read my post and it should come together.
Originally posted by OutlawDragon Well I wasn't going to bring this up but since you did Syk3(I still don't get this Greg), I will expound upon it.
You said that Spike died in the last session, but they may not be the case. Spike has been injured more times than imaginable. For example in KHOD he ummm.... (don't want to ruin it for ya) well he gets shot and you would assume he died but indeed he didn't. So just because you assume he died does not mkae it so. So for all of you who cried because he died think that he just passed out from a loss of blood or something.
There's my 2 cents to the subject. -OutlawDragon

Meh. I knew you were going to say that you think he's alive.
You and your crazy imagination, LOL. ;) You have to let go, move on! jk Seriously though, I suppose that it could be possible. You only saw one star fade, and it could quite possibly have been Vicious's or some other random person. However, I doubt that the producers would bring up the series again after that dramatic eps.
Originally posted by ~GohanRulz~ I heard somewhere that when Gohan becomes Mystic, he is the strongest being in the universe. Except, he was defeated by Buu when he absorbed Piccolo and Gotenks. I'm pretty sure that Gohan is stronger then ssj3 Goku when he's mystic.
When he first turns Mystic, he probably is; unless you count foes in the movies.

Yes, perhaps you should read mine as an example. v.v
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy Anyway, Mystic Gohan is not quite as powerful as Son Gokou. He is well beyond Super Saiya-jin 3 Gotenks, but inferior to Gokou in his SS3 form.
As Darkness stated, this cannot possibly be true. First of all, Gokuu was evenly matched with Mr. Buu while Gotenks was a little stronger than Super Buu, who was stronger than Mr. Buu. v.v This is most likely because Gotenks was the ssj3 combination of two people other than Gokuu's ssj3 which was one person, obviously. When ssj3 Gotenks started losing to super buu, Mystic Gohan then stepped in and went on the offense until Super Buu absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo. So if Gohan is stronger than Gotenks, and Gotenks is equal to Super Buu, and Super Buu is stronger than Mr. Buu, and Mr. Buu is equal to Gokuu, then Gohan is stronger than Gokuu. Simple geometry, LOL. Geeze, that was a doosy.

Erm, there are things that I like and dislike about each of the versions. The dubbed version allows me to watch the show in a language that I can understand, thus not missing anything by looking away for a few seconds. The subbed version, on the other hand, requires undivided attention so that you can read the subtitles if you want to know what is going on. Sitting on the couch, far from the tv, and without my glasses, I might as well put on mute. Now, how many here like to watch their programs muted (without subs, duh)? And yet, as many have said, the subbed version gives you everything possible to give in the series. You hear the dialogue that was ment for the show, other than something that producers edited to fit America's youth. So, once again, I like both, though I would much prefer something like the Japanese version but in my language. :) Yeah, it kind of looks like people are mindlessly picking subbed as their favorites just to act cool and be like everyone else, but whatever.

I think that the last session was pretty good. It had action, romance, vengence, and it was a solid ending to the series.
When Spike died, it was indeed very sad, but at the same time, as Heaven's Cloud once said, it made you continue watching it over and over to try to convince yourself that Spike was alive.
Let me ask you. Did it leave you wanting more at the end? Did it leave any unanswered questions? If you can answer 'no' to both of these, then one can conclude that the ending was good. Do you disagree?

LOL, nice poster, I like it. But perhaps that would be made into a new topic? I dunno, this is for the CB club, which I currently own. ^.^ Impact Player, please stare at my banner and be hipnotized by it. If not, you may surely ruin this for the rest of us!
