That is an . . . interesting dress on the girl at bottom. I hope for her sake there's a back. =P The watermarks didn't bother me at all. They're just kinda there, and don't have anything to do with the art, so I just automatically blur them once they're registered in my head. Although, point of interest, you could do something artsy with the watermark and make it look nifty, so you don't have a huge splotch of white Times New Roman taking up space. (^_^) Out of the five, my favorites are the top and bottom. I like the lace around the headband of the blue-haired girl, and the cliff-scape just appeals to me for no real discernible reason.

I laughed once somewhere in there, but I can't remember where. I think it was after Sam and Frodo and before bladders and mac & cheese. It was a good laugh, too. Oh, right, now I remember.
Jeremy slapped his own face.
That was hilarious. I mean, there's nothin' quite like givin' yourself the ole' bitch-slap. :D You've got the groaner lines down perfect, though.

I Forgot What You People Look Like (Image Heavy)
Sandy, you and your boyfriend are just so sweet and cute together! I would snuggle you in a second if you'd let me. :']
Okay, thaaaaaaaaaat's just creepy. -
My cat, Shadow, recently had a litter....[/FONT']
My cat, Shadow, wouldn't stop having litters. :p Incidentally, she typically had five cute little fluffballs, and her older sister typically had five big strong bruisers. And they both favored my room as their ideal nesting environment. It's fun being a kitty godfather. (^_^)

Art Signature of the Week | Discussion Thread
Allamorph replied to boothten's topic in Creative Works
I'd just like to post here to encourage everyone to vote on their favorite banners. Not knowing how the art is done only prevents you from offering good constructive criticism; saying "I like this one" is not an impossible task. I look forward to the entries. (^_^) -

Brendan Fraser seems to be having a good year. This movie and Mummy 3 coming out at the same time? Nicely done. I think normally I might have the same concerns as Rach, but I think this movie will also take a good deal of the old English pomp out of the atmosphere, which is always refreshing?in the sense of the difference between stale air and moving air. That said, I'm not holding out much hope for great continuity with the book, but I don't think that was at all the intent. I also think that there are some books that if made into movies need to be adapted precisely, and that there are some that do not. With things like LotR, the complexity is part and parcel with the surface story, while here I think the general impact will be fine as is; Jules' deal was basically subterranean exploration, and look what the movies did to Dinotopia. I think it'll be a good watch as long as you don't go into it expecting a stunning visual masterpiece of V for Vendetta proportions.
It didn't matter for the Count did it? lo[/FONT']
For him it was more because that was all the direction we got and because his place was, like, a fifteen minute drive from the town. But! After some quick discussion, this new place is going to be someplace in the Rockies in Colorado, probably below the treeline. I think Beth and I decided on a sort of mountain resort?caves to the rear of the property would be beneficial, and possibly even a cavern running underneath the resort proper, depending on how good we want these guys to be/to have been. Also, a couple of you guys look into Renfield in relation with Dracula/Stoker, and see if we want to employ that kind of mental subversion, and if so how far. Jim Butcher used it, but I think it was in relation to his Black Court specifically, and our vampires feed for different reasons than any of his Courts. (Blood [for blood's sake], life, emotion, and I forget the fourth; none use blood as an energy conduit in quite the same manner as ours do.) Indi, you did say West Coast, right? That means probably Washington or Oregon for our basic setting. I'll do some quick scouring; I could have sworn you said East, and here I was thinking that a trip from Vermont to Florida was easy-peasy. Seattle makes that a little more iffy. =P Umm, umm umm. Bugger, I had something else. Probably Talon's game messing with my head again. Oh well.
. . . I was thinking of moving us to where the vampires are located. I intend to stick solely to the outside of the place . . . .[/FONT']
Uhh, do we even know where that is yet? I mean, Chris is my creation and I sure as heck don't. =P You'd think since I had her routed there that I'd at least have a basic visual. Shows my attention to detail, hunh?

Takin' a break from console stuff (what little I have) to finish my labors in Sacred Stones. Got all the unlockable characters, and everyone at promoted lv. 20, so all that's left is Ephraim's path and all the supports. In the meantime, I'm kicking the snot out of Tales of Phantasia, and just picked up FFVI Advance yesterday and did some preliminary dabbling. My sister borrowed DDR for xBox and two mats. Lord help me.

I am listening to anything I can get my hands on right now that isn' Country. I am deluged?inundated, even?with that stuff at work every day for six hours, and on top of that it's the same twenty-odd dad-blasted songs. Mostly I'm grasping for anything with kickin' guitar stuff, which made my fruitless search for Porcupine Tree today quite depressing. Maybe my father will loan me some Chiliwack.

Steering away from the feel-good relativism of Sabrina's post, I'd just like to point out that I find this kind of binary hypothetical choice-making stuff a complete, total, and utter waste of time. Beauty and intelligence are both continuous traits, and beauty is also half-subjective, so what's the frilling point? I choose Clue. (^_^)
Furthermore, unless you're Cherokee or Sioux, nobody on OB is originally from America.[/FONT']
And even those guys probably came across the Bering, so we're all a bunch of foreigners. Yee-haw.
for your information, i didn't hear this from anyone. I just kinda thought it up on one of my frequent daydreaming sessions.
Ah. Then my optimism about you was wrong; you were observant enough to notice a correlation, but you didn't bother to follow through on your own conjecture.
Wow thats some splended stereotyping. Im lucky I didnt use my arabic name, for I would have loathed being classed a terrorist.:animeangr;
First, obviously the last part of her sentence was nonexistent, judging by the omission of anything after "you're not", so don't make assumptions too quickly. Feet taste bad. Second, stereotypes exist for a reason: a person noticed that certain groups of people behaved in similar fashions or had similar characteristics. For example, cheerleaders tend to be (overly) happy, drama-producing, and not very mentally acute. Not all cheerleaders are like that, but there are always exceptions to rules. Same thing (currently) with 'terrorists', as evidenced by most tactical shooters now: Russians and anyone from the Middle East is fair game for that label, whether or not that's universally true.
Anyway, the point is people join gangs for psychological reasons, not because Wal-Mart's having a sale on red bandannas.
Bingo.

Dang, I was hoping to be countered with Pope Alessandro from Trinity Blood, the real Crown Prince of Pathetic. 'Cause that would have been well-played.
I mean, Daddy Ikari was just too obvious, ya know? =P
Darn.
That's not the point. Whether or not the mods decided to act, the point is that Gavin has rights[/I']! And today, those rights were clearly trampled on.
