Alrighty, then! 1. What religion are you CURRENTLY following? Islam 2. Why do you follow that religion? Parents, personal reasons, etc? I guess it's from my parents and the country where I was born. 3. Do you ever feel that people often critisize you because of these beliefs? Errm... not really. Other people won't care much really. We're becoming the Generation Y people (individualism). 4. This one may spark a little bit of arguing: Do you believe that your religion is the one true religion? If so provide evidence. I say NO. I believe religion is just a "special" group. I believe God is everywhere. God needs no "special" rituals, prayers and other things that are believed to be "special" and should not be broken. God accepts everybody's prayers, regardless of each person's nature. The religion I am following at the moment is just a load of unreasonable beliefs, especially about women should wear their headscarves to keep their faith to our God. If that belief is disobeyed, the female will be thrown into Hell and have her hair scorched by brimstone. I say that's a load of rubbish. Jihad is also another thing: It's an act of matyrdom for NOTHING. Why would God wants these "followers" to kill themselves to prove their faith to Him? I think He is truly disgraced of humanity, regardless of history. Back to the q, Islam is not the one true religion for me.

Hmm... I say Tekken 3, 4 and 5. They are proper enough to be anime series! The endings won't suffice the overall of all the Tekken series!! Ok, there is an animated movie but anime series is way better!
Chiyasha, since Otakuboards emphasizes on conversation, how about a little more fodder for the conversational fire? Why would Tekken be a really good Anime? Is that the only game you'd suggest? Any games you wouldn't want to see as an Anime? Give us a little something to work with. Future posts with such little content will probably just be considered spam and deleted. PM me or any of the other moderators if you have any questions. ~indifference
Wowwee, I thought OtakuBoards won't care about my view! Ok then, to not declare my thread a spam, I should elaborate my reasons. As we know in all Tekken games there are loads of fighters, therefore loads of stories going on within all games. Believe me, the stories will make sense if these games turn into anime series... for example, the rivalry between Jin Kazama and Hwoarang. How the hell can they be enemies in the first place? Why? There might probably be at least a reason! I don't know how and I can't fully trust the unofficials and fanfictions and story modes in Tekken games. So... that's all. The main reason. Minor reasons are Tekken is an action-genre, with a dose of reality and fantasy, serious and humour. And the characters will look cool in anime style!
"The former dictator was finally sentenced. Right now, I'm not sure what to think. It just kinda came out of the blue for me. After I heard that his trial was being moved to Baghdad, I didn't hear anything else about it until I read this article. How strange to think that the world will be free of one less dictator. What do you think?"
It may be STRANGE but believe me, that culprit's game's over. He's an irresponsible git. :animeangr He's one of the radicals who are responsible of giving Islam a bad name.

Bands You Love That None Of Your Friends Have Heard Of
Chiyasha replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
Leon Fury, you are not alone. I like Bloc Party too! My fav Bloc Party song of all time is "Banquet". :luv: I really just don't get it anyway. How can people who are very into music but never heard the bands he/she adore? It happened to me before. Last year I set up a sort of discussion in my my'otaku site (btw, my my'o username is Farrah1988) : Lostprophets v Linkin Park. In the end, this shocking terror came out from the discussion... Linkin Park won. Wanna know why? All my my'o buddies have no clue who on Earth were LOSTPROPHETS! Come on! They are so damn popular in the States and how the heck they can be unknown to rock music listeners like them?!? That really scared me. Oh, I'm NOT DONE yet! I bet my other fav bands are unknown to you guys (well, do tell if you heard few bands before): - Interpol - The Subways - Dirty Pretty Things - The Automatic - Superskin - Franz Ferdinand - Fightstar Oh wow, there's actually more! Meh, better leave my reply like this. :hippy: Edit:
Good music-wise, I know of a band called Apocolyptica[/b'] . They're known for performing Metallica's greatest hits. The only strange thing about them is that they don't have any electric instruments. They are a string quartet and a drummer. They play so well, that most of the time, I'm unable to tell that what I'm hearing is a violin or a standup bass instead of an electric guitar.
Oh yea, Apocolyptica is awesome! Last time I heard their version of "Until It Sleeps" on the radio. Very atmospheric. Double posting is not allowed. Metallica's the first heavy metal band I listened to. I really love the band. I wish I can thank them for making me aware of my music taste (ok, back then I was childish. Listening to NSync, Michael Learns To Rock and other cheesy crap that'd existed back then). :animedepr My favourite album is definitely "Load". Most songs in there are damn rocking and heavy... especially "Ain't My B***h". Such class. Also "Until It Sleeps", my favourite of all Metallica songs. Too bad that their latest album "St.Anger" was such a total disgrace (where the f**k is Kirk's riffs?! :animeangr ). Of course, not to forget, their old yet energetic albums. Master of Puppets for me! :angry3: Oh well, I hope Metallica will produce another album... haven't heard from 'em since this year's Download Festival in Dublin. :animesigh Edit:
And whoever says that Metallica sold out only because they cut their hair[/b'] needs to be kicked in the balls. If anything, their ego got the best of them. Still a good band though.
WhO tHe HeCk came up with that stupid nonsense?! Sold out just cuz of they cut their hair. :flaming: Nimrods. Oh, I do more than just kick in the balls. Double posting is not allowed. Oh bloody yea, Audition is the best Japanese Horror film eva. That film is also my first Japanese film I've watched. It's best to avoid The Ring and The Grudge. They are just a bunch of scare-tactics kind of movies. First, I scream. Then, I see with boredom. The cycle repeats itself without notice until the end of the movie. Anybody knows Ichi the Killer? What's the movie about?

Sorry to say this, Justin Timberlake's SexyBack. I cannot stop laughing the first time I listen to this song. What's with Justin? Was he too horny and enthusiastic while recording this song? :drunk: Seriously, I dunno what's going to happen upon this Trousersnake.

Chobits is allright though. I have read all volumes and won't bother spoil the ending to you. :animesmil I know Chi can be too irritating due to her air-headedness... but somehow she can be very moody in a threatening way.

When I say New York, what do you think of?
Chiyasha replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
... weirdly, INTERPOL! My fav New York indie band. Then my previous yet abandoned manga. :animedepr Then the beautiful New York itself. :p And lastly, Frank Sinatra. -
I don't mind doing requests. I am skilled at drawing anime characters and using Photoshop7 for colouring and special effects and embellishments on drawings. So... find me interesting? Please don't hesitate! Think a while and PM me if you have decided, k? Oh yea, one more thing: If you send me a PM, I'll reply it on the next day, unfortunately.

What comes to mind when you think of Australia?
Chiyasha replied to drakkeness's topic in General Discussion
First of all, my vacation to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in 2000. Very unforgettable. :love2: Second of all, Jin Kazama. He went to Brisbane to train himself the true Karate arts in Tekken 4. Sorry if you find this one weird. :animeswea Lastly, the didgeridoo. Man, I love its reverb sounds. :love2: Guess that's all for now. ^_^ -
The Big Brother series. Is it really that big a deal?
Chiyasha replied to drakkeness's topic in Noosphere
A month or so back there was controversy over an incident that happened in the australian series of Big Brother. The country went wild callin for the show to be banned but is it really that big a deal?Give me your opions..
Pfft, anything Big Brother, I HATE IT TO DEATH! I heard the Australian version is even worse than the UK ones. Ok, my critics may not be parallel to the question but I have reasons why Big Brother should be banned FOR GOOD: 1. It is such a waste of MONEY for tv stations. :animeangr 2. Also a waste of TIME while watching it  3. The contestants are such a big joke to the public. All they do are giving horrible influences to young, immature audiences. :animeangr It is a big deal to ME! Officially, Big Brother is quoted for "a show for stupid people". That's a BIG deal. I rest my case.
