[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Red]Ruby ran towards the palace shielding her eyes against the sand and dust. When she got there Tsudo was fighting a giant of an Antro. "That must be the Vestio" Ruby saw their fight, blocking and shooting the same attacks. "That's one fight going nowhere." Then she was slammed into the wall and against some chairs. Ruby looked up and saw an Antro had pushed her. "Why you.." she said getting up. The thing was mad and was about to crush her under it's weight. Ruby rolled and barely missed it. then She shot a fireball into the things face. It shrieked in a sickening screech. Ruby was thrown again into a table and the thing was screaming in agony and pain, blinded. It swung a gnarled hand out and it caught Ruby by surprise. It left a gash across her upper body. She was losing blood rapidly and she couldn't find the concentration to make fireballs. The Antro took advantage of this and shoved her, and grabbed her by the collar and slammed her back and forth. She was helpless and her instincts took over. She took her blood in her hands and it flowed through her fingers and shouted,"RAIN OF BLOOD" Shards of sharpened blood flew everywhere piercing the Antro and killing it. Ruby tried to get up but was dizzy from blood loss so she stay on the ground." Tsudo...." she whispered before passing out.[/COLOR][/FONT]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Red]Ruby turned on her sink and splashed cold water on her face. Meister was still in her room," yes?" Ruby sighed. Meister looked at her for a long time then said," Where is Tsudo?" Ruby looked up from her sink," you don't know? Last I saw him was yesterday, after he blew up the training room." Meister shook his head no. Ruby dried her face," Let me guess; you want to talk to him about his powers. And to me about that one girl" He nodded. Ruby threw her hands up in the air and mouthed the words "Why me?" Meister raised his eyebrow, Ruby shrugged. "Let's go see if he's in the bar." When they got there pH was panting and shouting incoherent words," Vestio and Tsudo... I got away while he distracted the monster.... Tsudo's still up there.." Ruby said,"i'll go see if he can handle it. " While she headed to the Main hall a group of people passed her. Suddenly her neck pulsed, and she remembered being engulfed in flames." I have a bad feeling about this.." She said when she reached the surface.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Ruby offered a meat to Cali, as a way of a peace offering. Cali took it and ate it with gusto. "Don't worry, I don't kill out of no reason." Ruby said looking down," no one should." They got settled and started to dig in , Ruby refused any. "Aren't you hungry?" Umi asked. "No thanks, I had my fill awhile ago." It took a moment till this sinked in and eneryone just kept on eating , pretending they had heard nothing. Ruby jumped up into a tree and went to sleep with a full stomach.

He walked up to Ruby. And touched her neck," My mark is still upon you... you are mine.." Ruby shrugged off the uncomfortable touch. He laughed," you should really look twice at your ... friends. Kampfer is a murderer, he's as bad as I am. And Tsudo.. HE is special... you are nothing to compared to him. No one wants you.. you're just in the way." He laughed cruelly. Ruby shot fire at him and he dissapeared into thin air. Then she was angry,"OH YEAH?! They're better company than you! Stay away from me or else!!" His voice came to her," Your 'friends' are about to have a little run-in with my -- aquaintences. Pick your friends wisely... and come with me. I hold the key to your Box" Ruby burst flame all around her until she was engulfed in heat," I will never... you will die!!" [/i] She woke up to see Meister shaking her," Wake up!!" She struggled to get up and saw her cieling had a scorch mark. "I'm sorry, bad dream.." She mumbled and pushed Meister away. [/COLOR][/FONT]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Red]Ruby decided to spend the rest of the day in her room, away from people and their stares. "Maybe I shouldn't have gone too far.. nah, he deserved it." And she rolled around in her bed and decided at least to get some food from the cafeteria. Everyone looked at her sideways, then one of the girls came up and threw water on her. The water sizzled and evaporated quickly as Ruby looked at her," That's what you get for hurting Eilion! Bitch!" SHe said and walked away to her gaggle of admiring fans. Ruby breathed a sigh of relief,[I]If it has to do with that sexist pig I'm okay with that, I DID go a little too far.... but just to make sure I don't get [B]wet[/B] again..[/I] and while she turned her back the girls skirt caught fire. Ruby smirked. Then she went out of the cafeteria deciding to skip dinner and save some of her breakfast a man passed her. He bumped her shoulder a bit and Ruby turned around," ARe you in that much of a hurry to be murderer." He had sallow skin and raven black hair reaching his shoulders. It seemed he had powers too, because his nails were long and sharp. He touched her neck muscle that hurt,"hmm.. you're still alive.." he whispered. Ruby shrugged him off an dwent running to her room. [I]Who was that?![/I] she thought. Then she collapsed on her bed. Her last thought was, [I]Nails, sharp nails that pierced my skin and knocked me out... but why? What did I see on the surface... And Tsudo's power.. were did that come from..[/I] And she slumped on her bed. [/COLOR][/FONT]

SHe whined slouching down. "That would explaing somethings" Kampfer said. Ruby glared then listened to the conversation," A trigger?" She said to herself. 'that could be on the surface! maybe if I find the guy that pinched my neck, I could beat the crap out of him... that would make me feel better. And i'll have my memory... but..' Ruby furrowed her brow. Tsudo looked at her expression change ,"WHat?" Ruby nodded "nothing.. just my neck hurts.. I gotta go." "Wait, you have to take your physical again."JD said . "Physical? Wasn't that the test?" Tsudo asked. JD shook his head,"Yes but you two have to take it again in a controlled environment, in one of the labs. Since you surprised Meister with that little show of power from both of you." "oh." Ruby said and dumped her food in the bin," well there goes my afternoon." They followed JD and Ruby turned around,"See you later " She said to Kampfer. "What do you mean? I'm coming with you, see how weak you are." He said getting up and dumping his empty tray in the bin. Ruby stuck her tongue out at him. They followed Tsudo and JD to one of the testing rooms. "okay, Tsudomashi you're first." Said A brown haired man in a blue jumpsuit. Tsudo nodded and headed in. It was white and padded, "Okay Tsudo, I'm going shoot some energy at you and just respond to the fullest." said another guy, in the room. Tsudo nodded, ready. All Ruby and Kampfer heard from the outside was crashing and the door blew open, shattered and smoke came out. Tsudo came out carrying the man," Was that to much power?" he said nervously. Ruby coughed out smoke," No, just next time take it easy on the explosives." the brown hair man called another guy over," You test the girl" He looked at Ruby up and down," This will be easy. You sure she's up to this? She looks weak.." A nerve was struck in Ruby,"What?!" She whispered, pissed. The guy stepped in the room,"C'mon sweetheart, you won't break a nail." Ruby stalked into the room. he stood on the other side,"Ok, I'm gonna throw some power your way and just do what you can do to block and try to attack me." Ruby smiled evily,"[I]Whose[/I] going to break a nail now?" Kampfer and Tsudo were still brushing off the debris when the door was kicked open and more smoke came out. She threw the guy, who was still sizzling and unconcouse, on the floor. "I'm going to my room now." She said, walking past everyone and heading for the exit. "Ok,"The brown haired man said," Tsudomashi and Blaze are definetly up a level." And checked off something on his notepad. [/COLOR][/FONT]

Ruby looked at Kaho then nodded," Yes a larger group always helps" She had a feeling Cali still did not get along with her because of her wolf blood. Oh well her problem. They got Aurora back to their campsite and started cooking some kind of food. Ruby said," Forget this, I'm gonna be right back" After they tried to look for food. Ruby ran off into the woods and came back with a dead deer in her hands her face stained with blood. "Sorry, couldn't help myself" She explained after the bloodlust had gone from her eyes.

The sensitive skin was probably bruised and it felt like someone had pinched her. "Are you okay?" Kampfer asked. Ruby looked at him for a moment before saying," yeah.. so what were we talking about? Oh yes!your bracelets, how long till they put them on you again?" She said joking. ANother round of agruements, then it came to Ruby,'It was HIM or it or whoever in my dream... I was knocked out .. I can't remember!' she thought. Then she noticed a guy talkining to her"yes that's me." She replied to JD. "Do you really to eat that much?" Ruby said noticing Kampfer's plates. "Whose the one who said she was hungry?"he said back. Ruby just shrugged it off and continued eating. 'I wonder what other things are in this... facilitly' Then she said, "Hey, how old are you ? Kampfer realized his own words and smiled, then started eating. "Though I do wish I had my turn with the meatball.." she said regrettibly. Kampfer looked up sharply from his food. Ruby smiled nervoulsy," Thank you anyway." she said. Then went to her food before her big mouth got her in even more trouble. She started to get cold again and started to shiver.[/COLOR][/FONT]

That's all" She said offhandedly, heading towards the cafeteria. "Its the [I]desert[/I] ." he said pointedly. Ruby shrugged and looked back at him," What's your point?" The nurse looked at her then exclaimed,"My god! You're shivering!"She raised her hand to Ruby's forehead,"But you're just fine, if not a little warmer." Ruby hugged herself in order to achieve more warmth. The nurse said,"If you really need it, there's a stack of sweaters just around the corner next to the supplies,"She pointed a way off. Ruby nodded and went to look through the sweaters," ... girlie.... small... Ah! I like this one!" She put it on and felt warmer. it had a large neck with a zipper and it looked like a ski jacket, tight but loose. It was all black, but had a line of red running down the side on both sides. "I wonder if they chained that one crazy guy up yet." she said off-handedly, still looking through the gloves because her hands were freezing. She was too busy to notice the shadow coming up behind her. "Hello there, punk. No Meister to save you now." Sahama said. Ruby muttered. " oh crap."[/COLOR][/FONT]

Her shoulder hurt but she sucked it up. Kamfer looked at her than said," Looks like girlie here needs to stay clean or she'll freak." He said smirking. "OK! The silver bracelets are OFF!!"Ruby shouted. Another round of curses and threats pass between them. Meister just headed back," This is way too much for me.. I'm going back." Ruby went back inside after cooling off. "Oow.. my neck" She said again rubbing her muscles. She took another cold bath and had an idea. She found a bucket and filled it with water then lit fire around it. Soon it was boiling, and she tipped it over her head. Strangely she was not affected by the heat of the water. [/COLOR][/FONT]

She said and then Kamfer coughed looking at the body. " you could have done it faster you know." He said looking away. " Why you..!!!" Ruby said before Tsudo held her back from strangling the life out of Kamfer. "Easy, easy.." he said. [/COLOR][/FONT]

She slashed with fire first at it's head, while Tsudo came behind her. The thing dodged but Tsudo caught it with his sword. The legs spurted blood. Ruby grimanced as the blood hit her,"Nice." THe Antro swung madly out at both of them using a mimicry of Tsudo's telekenisis( I think that's what it's called, i forget ) They landed on their backs but were soon up again. "Hey Tsudo, Throw me." Ruby said, putting both hands together like a torpedo and lighting them. "okay" He said and she shot up and strait at the Antro like an flaming arrow. She Caught its arm slicing it to pieces. It shreiked and smack her on the side making her roll once more in dirt. "you'll pay for that buddy." Promised Ruby as Tsudo delivred his part of the attack. [/COLOR][/FONT]

Suddenly the chair she was sitting in lifted itself up and she was thrown across the room. Strait at the eyeball. "Ahh!! Damn it!!"She shouted as she leapt off the chair tumbling down on the floor. Landing in front of Tsudos feet, crumpled up. he looked at her," you look like you rolled around in dirt.Ha ha" he laughed, nervously. "Watch it I'll get you for this, Tsudo." Ruby threatened as she Brushed herself off. Then she dodged a table heading towards the Scoto. "oops." Shrugged Tsudo looking away smiling. "HaHa. Watch it." Ruby mocked as she dodged another chair trown by the Scoto at Tsudo. "Whoa! You could've warned me! I could die from the shock, are you with me or against me?!" "Die? Promises, promises." Ruby smiled as she walked to another table and sat there. Tsudo laughed, and went back to his fight.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Papyrus][COLOR=Red]"Thanks" Ruby Said as she lounged toward the creature. Simutaniously she broke the cylander on her head ignoring the pain as the exitement of the kill got to her. "ouch" Meister said as he saw what Ruby did with the bottle. Ruby ignored this as she sped towards the Gyne. Her blood and body becoming warmer and warmer as she neared the creature. The gyne had limped away from where Tsudo was shooting at teh scoto. "I'm gonna make you feel so good your synapses will short out." Ruby grinned evilly as she launched a kick at the Gyne. It wasn't enough force and it pushed her away easily and she crashed into the wall. Rubble and debris littlered her as she moaned,"Damn." Blood was trickling into her eyes and she brushed it away. Then her blood boiled, literally. She felt consumed in her own body heat as her hand went up in flames. She smiled," Sweet." And she went for another kick, this time lighting in flames as she pulled a roundhouse kick aiming towards the creatures neck. A sickening CRACK sounded out and echoed. But the thing was still alive. Ruby grunted with effort as it whipped a sharp hand out. She jumped aside but it had still gotten her arm. Blood dripping, she kept at it, kicking and punching with fire and ice and whatever other power she found in her to use. The Gyne wouldn't give up , though . She got an idea. She lit up both her hands and raised up both her hands over her head. "FIRE STORM!!!" she yelled with effort. Flames erupted around her raining down on the Gyne, burninig his flesh. "Ha.." Ruby said weakly, as she staggered to the wall and sat down, to watch Tsudo fight. "I feel so good. This is way better than anger management at least..." [/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Book Antiqua]Ruby looked at the creatures, ' might actually put up a fight' she thought. Exitement tightened in her belly. She shook herself out of it, distorting her view a bit. Meister looked at her," you're not gonna faint are you? This stuff might not be suitable for a lady like yourself." Ruby looked at him hard,"[B]I'm okay, I can take this just watch![/B]" She looked at him fiercly, daring him to say something. He shrunk under her gaze and just continued to explain. Ruby coudn't wait for the first thing to pick a fight with her. [/FONT][/COLOR]

Tsudo followed ahead and Ruby stopped to look at the surroundings," how quickly things crumble..." she said looking at the wasteland. Tsudo looked back at her ," something wrong?" Her face turned cold, but hen she lightened up in forced happiness," But yeah I'm dying to get out here, the air is stuffy. And I think I might hurl." Tsudo looked at her wierdly," Kidding, kidding." Ruby sighed," you people have no sense of humor. "Shall we go?" Tsudo said, going towards the entrance. Ruby paused, unsure what to do. Tsudo looked back,"before Sahama gets his ass kicked by you." Ruby gave a sad smile but still sounded cheerful,"His loss." [/COLOR][/FONT]

"Nice jewelry, what no gold in stock?" He raised his fists up but was cut short bythe shackles. "Just kidding. When are they going to take those off, anyway?" Ruby asked, well aware this is what got her in trouble all the time. He stayed silent. "Fine. I'm going to take a bath, again this place makes my skin crawl. Is the surface better that this?" Ruby asked walking towards the baths. When she got no answer she kept going. Now where did taht guy go , I've got a score to settle." She said cracking her knuckles. The man in white robes was paying no attention to him, he was focused intently on Ruby carelessly spinning the precious cylinder. "Careful, you only get one of those." Meister said , taking the cylinder from Ruby's hand. "Awww...."Whined Ruby and followed Meister out. "Now you two, stay out of trouble, there are many dark individuals like Sahama. You need to keep yourselves in check. Got it?" He said specifically looking at Ruby. "What? [I]moi?[/I] " Ruby said, faking surprise and astonishment. Tsudo looked away, smirking. "Yes, you.[I]Especially[/I] you." Meister said. Ruby shrugged. "How do we used this?" Tsudo asked looking at his with interest. [/SIZE][/FONT]

She had gotten a black jump suit similar to Tsudo's and her black goggles hung around her neck. "What did you say?" the man said , silently deadly. " "did i stutter? or are you just stupid?" Ruby retorted. They were about to start a fight when, Meister stood in between them to stop them both," Stop this, now." The other guy backed off and cast a loathing look at Ruby.Then went back to the other door. "Are you ok?" Tsudo asked, walking over to Ruby. "What a nice first impression, don't you think so?" [FONT=Papyrus][SIZE=3][COLOR=Red]Ruby sighed,"Ahhhh.. " the cold water felt refreshing. She tilted her head back so that it poured on her forehead. She kept her eyes open because when she closed them she saw visions of desolation. And in the middle of this desolation, stood at tower standing as if in defiance against all the wreckage surrounding it. SHe shuddered and got out and put her new clothes on and went back to the main room to find the young man gone.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
