Discuss The Panopticon Underground [M-LSV]

Destiny Bond? o_O Am I the only one here who has never seen Pokemon or played it for that matter? Seriously, until I heard the song due to the Titans using it in one of the challenges in the Survivor RPG I had never heard it either. Also...I still want to see more cards before I play mine! Dammit! Only three more posts and the killing will begin. Forcing me to decide what to do at that point. >_< This round is killing me! -
Darren was in his quarters on the Creator when he got a message from Sandra. He had not been expecting one from her and the contents left him speechless. Erica Kendrick was the leader of the resistance? Everyone had been modified when they were born? The whole thing just seemed a bit too unreal. But the report though it had been sent to him by Sandra originally came from the Elite Specialist Kiva who had made the arrest. Darren was stunned. Hell! The God damn leader of the Resistance is a member of the High Council? And even more of them have allowed illegal modifications to be done all this time? He shook his head in disbelief. Why did Sandra even bother to send this to me? He got up and went over to look out at the view of the home world. Darren wasn't really sure what to think. He had no love for the High Council anyway and he had first hand experience with them simply forcing others to do as they wished. Darren had never expected honesty out of them or the military for that matter. So why would this be any different? Still the leader of the Resistance was one of them? Hell! It was the God damn Resistance that had hacked his clearance in the first place, dragging him into this mess. Resulting in the High Council forcing him to work for them. Darren finally couldn't help it, he started laughing. It was so pathetically ironic. He'd been screwed by the High Council on both ends. The laughter didn't last long, there was an edge of hysteria to it, though that too faded. But the thought that now it was the High Council's turn to be screwed seemed only fair to Darren. The problems that would arise from one of their own leading the Resistance they were so against would be supremely funny. Serves those arrogant bastards right. He was sorry for what it would do to Sandra though. Darren sighed, she had seemed cold and distant at first, but the longer he had been here and the more he had been required to do as a shipping expert, the more he had gotten to know her. In many ways Sandra's views were similar to his, and her help had been invaluable. Darren was so naive when it came to politics and Sandra had made sure to help him figure things out. A chime sounded indicating there was another message and he went back to his desk to open it. Darren couldn't help but smile when he saw that it was an update indicating that not only had marital law been declared but that the entire High Council had been put under house arrest pending an investigation. Good. He was closing the update when the chime indicating someone was at his door sounded. Damn if it isn't a busy day today. He opened the door to admit Jared who was looking rather grim. Once the door had shut behind him Jared spoke, "I'm afraid I have some bad news for you Darren." Darren snorted. "I'd hardly call it bad Jared. Seems only fair to me that members of the High Council aren't above the law." Jared looked distressed, something that Darren had never seen. Making him wonder just what was going on. Was he really that upset by what had happened? "If only it was just that, but what I'm talking about has to do with Kerstin." Darren went cold all over. Not trusting himself to speak as all sorts of wild ideas ran though his mind. Jared took his sudden silence as an indication to continue. "Kerstin along with another student was kidnapped from the university earlier today. I believe that Blaine is behind it." Jared paused for Darren to speak but the color had drained from his face. "It seems that a group of his men waited for the opportunity to cut her escort off when she entered one of the lifts. They hijacked the lift causing it to go to the roof without stopping and seized both of them when they arrived." Oh my God! Kerstin! Darren thought even as he sank to his knees, tears running down his face. I should have made her listen to Jared and stay on the Creator. If he wants me dead, there's no telling what Blaine will do to her. Darren put his head in his hands and cried. Huge wracking sobs that shook his whole body. Until a moment later someone took his hands in theirs and he looked up to see that Jared had kneeled in front of him. "We'll find her." Jared said firmly "How can you be so sure?" "For one thing it's rare for Blaine to kill anyone, he's fond of using strong arm tactics since those are much harder to prove. Also, Stevens has asked Kiva to help us find them since due to the investigation she won't be receiving any orders from the High Council for quite a while. Kiva has agreed to help and trust me, her skills at locating people are excellent. She found you on Earth remember?" Darren nodded, "But..." "No buts. I'll be helping with the investigation as well." Darren nodded again, but he still couldn't stop the tears. Kerstin. Miserable he started to pull his hands free from Jared's but Jared had other ideas, pulling him into an embrace. At first Darren resisted until he realized Jared meant nothing by it, other than to try to comfort him. And when he finally had cried enough that he exhausted himself and pushed away Jared simply let go and then helped him to his feet. "I'll be keeping you updated on our progress, in the mean time, since the High Council is under house arrest you won't have much to do. But it would help out if you keep an eye on shipping since the news is going to create a lot of panic. We'll need to make sure that riots don't leave anyone with out basic supplies." Darren just nodded, still not trusting himself to speak least he start crying again. "If you need anything, let me know, all right?" Once Darren had nodded yet again. Jared finally left. Darren did his best to keep it in but an occasional tear still kept escaping. If only I had made her stay on the Creator like Jared wanted her to do. Still miserable he just stood there staring blankly out at the view of the home world. It wasn't until much later that he remembered that Jared had said someone else had been kidnapped with her.
Conversely I could say there is a demand for an anti-hentai forum, based solely on the amount of replies this thread has received. So where's my anti-hentai forum? -Shy
Quoted for truth. I'll not bother to repeat what the others have said since I support the demand for no hentai. Also...
The site doesn't need[/i'] hentai, pure and simple. If you want something sexual, there is plenty of stuff out there to service you. I'm obviously never going to debase OtakuBoards like that.
I think that answers that question. Even if the misguided fools tried to assassinate him for that statement. Oh and like Aaryanna, obviously whatever is in OB's water needs to be filtered out. This whole thing is to wacky for me.

How does the infinity card work? Besides forcing their mind out of a body. Does it mean they are stuck out of body for the rest of the game? Or like the poison card where someone could write about them finding an antidote, can someone return them to the body they came from? Can they end up sharing a body with someone? I'm a little confused as to what Sastasha can do now. Does he die automatically if he's stuck in limbo for too long? >_< Too many questions! -
Oh, the sticky deal? So then, all of the articles in the newsletter will be contained in one post, separated by subheadings? I'm just trying to get a feel for how this will look on the screen, and whether readers will be able to easily jump from heading to heading if they don't wish to read, say, Creative Works, or if they want to go in a different order. It may be cart before the horse, I know, but....
Well I suppose she could do something like I've seen in the thread directories, where you can click on a link and it takes you down to another part of the post. Though how you do that I don't know. Still it would be pretty slick if the newspaper was set up like that. Also, I love Des's idea for a more broad freelance thread since that would suit me as well. I could input articles from time to time since I do want to help out. And another idea, if I missed it sorry, but I think we should pm everything to Aaryanna_Mom, that way she can turn around and assign each article to different editors to avoid confusion. Once the editor finishes they can send it back to her for publication. Oh and even though DB's article is great I think we should have direct links to the thread's being reported, so the person reading it can go and check it out if they want. I'm lazy so I know links that take you right to the material are awesome. :catgirl:

Oromis was staring at Brittany guardedly when it finally hit him. He did know her! But her body language as well as her mannerisms were so radically different that to his hunting senses she was a completely different person. This has got to be a trap. She doesn't move or behave anything like the Brittany I met at the beginning of this mess. The fact that she had looked the same was meaningless to him. Appearances were deceiving, he had long ago trained himself to look for other means to identify others. To not depend on how things seemed to appear. So just as he had at first watched Lucia guardedly, he now did the same for Brittany. Oromis, especially after teaming up with Julian again and with Mary had decided that Lucia was genuine. At least enough that he was fairly certain that his initial suspicion that she was a trap set by the CCC was not accurate. That and the incident with the poison had convinced him more than anything. But Brittany, just watching her made his skin crawl. People simply couldn't change that easily. One couldn't abandon mannerisms, the way they walked and talked within such a short time. Everything in him screamed at him that she was a terrible danger but the others were greeting her as if they were old friends, especially Julian. Oromis decided to keep his thoughts to himself. Telling the others what he thought would in his opinion be counter productive and could result in them distrusting him instead. I'll have to keep my eye on her without the others knowing. It would test all his skills. To pretend to be pleased to see her when he was far from it. But unless he wished to go on his own, and a small part of him really wanted to see that the others were finally freed from this terrible place, he would have to accept having Brittany as a part of the group. As he surveyed the four who were with him, he figured that the one he could probably trust the most would be Lucia. She could have easily left him to die instead of patiently making sure he received the antidote. He was certain Merik would not have cared. Even if he had been unconscious for most of that ordeal, he had heard enough. Merik had only cared about escaping and probably getting Lucia in the bargain. He would not have cared if Oromis received the antidote or not. As quick as Merik had been to move to rape Lucia when she first appeared, and the way he had continued to stare at her lustfully after he had stopped the idiot...it wouldn't have surprised him if Merik had taken advantage of his inability to stop him. To finally do what he wanted. If he hadn't been killed by the trap that is. But Merik had been killed and Lucia who had survived, had made sure he survived. She seemed to think nothing of it, but to him it was not so simple. Warrior or not it put him in her debt. Even if she had handed him the antidote he had been to far gone to take it. When Lucia had realized this she had forced it into him. Things are never so simple are they? He couldn't remember ever being in anyone's debt. Not that it mattered. Even if she hadn't helped him Oromis still wanted all of them to escape. And to help ensure their survival he would not drop his guard around Brittany. With a sigh, Oromis decided to give them a few more minutes before breaking up their little reunion. Oromis didn't mind waiting, after all it made it easier to observe Brittany a bit more. To memorize her movements. In the end, he only hoped that he was wrong.
:animeangr *finds the dictionary page with the word 'host', eats it, shits it out, and burns the turd* I'll be in the pity corner being patient if you need me XD
*Considers petting DB who's currently pouting and then changes his mind. After all what if he bites? Or has rabies?* Haha! I kid. Seriously though I'm sure BKstyles and Allamorph realize that I wasn't blaming them, only that I was hoping they would have posted by now, because I really want to see more cards besides what SunfallE played before I play mine. I can guarantee you one thing though. If this keeps being slow. [And by the way guys, don't take me too seriously on this] I can literally shock the hell out of everyone here. [Hmmm...Maybe you should take me seriously?] All joking aside I want to see more cards played! And yes I'm being selfish, I want to see others before I play mine. [pouts] EDIT: There you go oh impatient host. *pokes* And incidentally I have made SunfallE's post where Oromis didn't recognize Brittany fit. And since both indifference and you put that girl through hell, I think what I posted makes sense. :p I still want to see other cards though! Anyway...Only five more posts! Mwahahahaha! EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it. As for being busy...I have several performances coming up next week, which for me means hours and hours of practicing. And things are busy in the Silver One RPG as well since all hell is breaking lose and I'm collaborating with Aaryanna_Mom since we are tag teaming an event which requires each of us to control the other person's character. It's fun as hell, but it is time consuming. :p And that doesn't include the fact that Sandy gave me the challenge of writing a rap song for my team the Sunflowers in Survivor 4! >_< So yeah, it's a fair assumption to say that I'm busy. -

*pokes DB* I was hoping the remaining two would have posted by now. Though I'll probably put one in when I get back from going to a movie with friends. So if it's not up later it will definitely go up tomorrow. And by later I mean that I won't get back until after midnight MST. Anyway, I know I'm eager for the killing to begin. lol -
Good work Aaryanna. ;) Both you and Ezekiel did a great job, even if their entry turned us into mutant Sunflowers invading Earth. lol Anyway...I have the same question for Sandy that you do. Are you looking for just the lyrics Sandy? Or are you expecting us to actually compose a melody as well? If you could clarify that I'd appreciate it. *dies* But seriously...Rap music? *dies again* About my only exposure to rap music is what I've seen in movies, shows, etc. It's not exactly a genre of music that I listen to or even enjoy. >_< I'm sure I covered it in one of my classes on musical history, but man, that was years ago when I was working on my Bachelor's degree. I'm gonna have to actually research it before I even know where to begin. If only it had been classical in nature, though I suppose that would have been highly unfair seeing that I've already got my bachelors in music and I'm more than halfway through my masters program. :animesigh

I think it's a given that we are all glad to see you Anomaly. I would have really felt bad to lose you as a team member. Now like you SunfallE, I just died laughing when I saw what Aaryanna did too. That is totally awesome. LOL! Those poor impaled eggs! Damn if that doesn't look painful! *dies laughing* I'm gonna have to save those pictures. :catgirl:
I feel bad for Darren though, between the news about Erica and Kerstin being kidnapped, he's in for a rough day.
That's the truth, and as you can see so are Daniel and Kerstin. Having a rough day that is. Blaine is far from nice. Anyway, like indifference, once another post or two goes up I'll handle Darren's response. If the story has progressed to much I'll just make it a flash back of him remembering the moment Jared informed him. As well as when he found out about Erica and the modification. Also, seeing that Stevens jumped on things pretty quick I'm assuming that riots are now happening all over the place. Hehe, and I just bet the High Council is less than thrilled at having their own forces turn against them. I hope I'm not the only one looking forward to some traitors in the High Council being found and dealt with. I know Darren won't feel sorry for them at all. lol

Kerstin, like many other civilians had heard the rumors about how wealthy representatives as well as businessmen would pretty much do whatever they wanted. There wasn't a single world in any sector that didn't have people like Blaine. Just as each sector had those who dedicated their lives to gathering the necessary evidence to put an end to those who were corrupt. Much in the same way her brother exposed those who were cheating everyone. The system was far from perfect, but she believed in it. But now as those who had forced her along with Daniel to come with them took them though the grand hallways of what surely had to be some sort of estate she no longer felt so sure. She didn't understand how Daniel could appear so calm, even as she practically glued herself to him. Gripping him tightly in an attempt to still the shaking she felt. In all her life, even though she knew what basic weapons were and had learned to handle them if only for safety reasons, no one had ever threatened her before. And the five who were taking them though the estate frightened her. Just as wondering what Blaine wanted frightened her as well. Dammit! Pull yourself together! She thought as they finally went through a huge set of doors into an expensive looking office. With old fashioned shelves full of curious antiques on display. Upon seeing Blaine sitting in the chair behind the huge elaborate desk waiting for them Kerstin regained a bit of her courage, still furious over what had happened. She let go of Daniel and took a step forward. "Dammit Blaine! I already told you I'm not interested in working for you! You have no right to force either one of us to come here!" Blaine just raised an eyebrow, "My aren't we naive and here I would have thought your brother would have taken the time to educate you a bit." He stood up and walked around the desk until he was in front of it before he leaned back against it a bit. He raised his right hand, motioning to those who had brought them there. The one who had lead the group moved forward and whispered something to Blaine before handing him Daniel's id card. He looked at it and then tucked it into his own pocket. Turning to address Daniel. "You on the other hand don't seem all that surprised, but then unlike that fool William I understand you have a bit more sense. I'm sure I don't have to tell you why you are here." He snapped his fingers. Ignoring Kerstin's shrieks of protest as two of them restrained her while the other three dealt with Daniel, shooting him with the lightest stun setting before putting disruptor restraints on him. Leaving him on the floor semi conscious. Kerstin pulled free of the two holding her when they relaxed their grip and flew over to kneel next to Daniel. He seemed to be okay, but why had they put metal bands on his wrists and ankles as well as one around his neck? She turned to look at Blaine furious. "What did you do?" Blaine's eyebrow just reached even higher, "You really are quite naive." He laughed at Kerstin's angry expression. "Just ask Daniel, I'm sure he'll know what those are." Kerstin turned to Daniel who was starting to sit up. But other than to warn Kerstin to keep back he said nothing. Keep back? What is he talking about? She turned to look at Blaine. Who must had motioned to the others as they pulled her to her feet and held her away from Daniel. "Since you don't seem to want to tell her Daniel I'll demonstrate." He ignored Kerstin's gasp of horror and Daniel's cries of pain as he activated the disruptor's. Continuing until Daniel could no longer cry out and Kerstin's pleas to him to stop had dissolved into tears. Blaine seemed indifferent to Daniel's pain and to Kerstin's pleas for him to stop. "Why?" Kerstin finally asked tearfully, once it was obvious he had finally stopped whatever was hurting Daniel. "Why do you have to be like that? Why do you have to hurt others? I don't understand." A chime from the desk sounded, indicating there was a message for Blaine. "Why does your brother have to meddle in things that are none of his business? Why does Daniel's friend feel that he is entitled to wealth? Why do we consider ourselves better than the lesser races?" Blaine smiled. "Rest assured, I'll make sure both of you are properly educated in not only why but how things are done." He walked around the desk and sat back down. "We'll continue this later. Take both of them to the suite I've prepared." Blaine started to open up the communication he had received and then stopped as if a thought had occurred to him. "Oh and make sure Miss Anderson is properly attired. That horrible cheap outfit just won't do. And be sure to encourage Daniel to change as well. Just be sure to remember that any fun waits until I say so." Kerstin fought wildly as they dragged her though the doors as well as picking up Daniel who was barely conscious. Fun? Properly attired? Cheap outfit? But the men just laughed at her as they tightened their grip and dragged her down the hallway. Taking both of them to an enclosed room. A room that was a richly decorated bedroom with no window or exits. They dumped Daniel on the bed and then tossed Kerstin on to it as well. One of them opened up a panel to reveal a couple of dresses. "Here's the deal sweetheart, when I come back in a few hours if you aren't changed into one of these I'll do it for you." he smirked at her, "By all means don't do as your told I'd love the chance to dress you myself." He opened up another panel to reveal men's clothing. "Make sure he's changed as well, or I'll run him though another little education lesson like Blaine did." Then he left, locking the door behind him. Once they had left Kerstin burst into tears. Now what do I do? She thought miserably. She turned to Daniel who was starting to come around. It was obvious the metal bands had hurt him somehow, but when she checked them she didn't see a way to unfasten them. Now that she thought about it, they had to be disruptor restraints. Kerstin had heard about them, but she had never seen them. She wondered how Blaine had gotten them since she had always understood that they were only used by the military. Miserable, she curled up on the bed on her right side and cried. ------------------------ OCC: I leave the next part up to you Aaryanna_Mom, if I got any of that wrong just let me know.

Kerstin just glared at the security Jared had assigned to her. Even if she understood why he had done it, it still irritated her. She was use to moving freely and to have this woman shadowing her every move annoyed her to no end. She had protested, loudly, at the assignment, but unless she was willing to stay on the Creator Jared would not budge. In a small way she began to understand what Darren must feel like. If just one restriction due to security was this irritating. It was no wonder he was so frustrated. After all he had told her about how he had been given the choice of helping or being brought up on charges of being in a restricted sector. As well as how he was given no choice but to accept the position of Shipping Expert. She still didn't understand his objection to that though since in her opinion having someone more honest in the position like her brother could only be a good thing. Not like that idiot Blaine. Kerstin knew about him, after the mess with the shipping companies pretty much everyone knew of him and a couple of other representatives that had been implicated in the profiteering. Which as she unconsciously gripped her drawing pencil tighter, only made her even more angry. The way Blaine had arrogantly interrupted her evening and his goons had tried to force Drake to leave still had her seeing red. It didn't help that when she tried to find Drake later, to thank him for standing up for her that he had turned out to be an impostor. When she had found out the very next day Kerstin had immediately gone to Jared, concerned that the person had done something to him. She had not expected to find out that it was the other way around. That the 'Drake' she had met had actually impersonated him only to gather information. The idea that he had used her to get information had her wanting to thrash him. With an audible snap she broke the drawing pencil in half startling herself and the rest of the class. Embarrassed she looked down and then made up her mind. Kerstin was too keyed up to concentrate anyway, she hadn't done anything for nearly half and hour but fume. She gathered her things and put them in the locker meant for her in the back of the classroom and left, her 'shadow' right behind her. Kerstin had given up on trying to lose the woman. For one thing it was childish and another, she had easily kept up with her just the same. Kerstin started taking deep breaths telling herself to be calm in quiet tones. Over and over. Not realizing that when she stepped into the lift to head for another level of the university that the doors cut off the woman who had been assigned to her. There was one other person in the lift, but he was looking out at the view since this particular elevator was on the side facing the ocean. As a result it was open and the actual lift made of a special type of glass. The view was quite pretty. A moment later when she turned around Kerstin realized that the woman who always shadowed her was gone. What the? The security had never missed joining her on a lift before. What happened? Kerstin wondered, her irritation vanishing as she realized that she was alone with someone else. But she didn't recognize the person riding the lift with her. For one thing, unlike Blaine he had reddish colored hair and for the most part he was totally ignoring her. Calm, Kerstin thought. Weren't you complaining a minute ago that you wanted the security to quit following you? Still she found the silence unnerving. "Who are you?" She finally asked him. He seemed surprised when he turned to see who had spoken and for a brief moment Kerstin was sure that she saw recognition in his eyes. But a moment later they were neutral. "I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" He looked around as if realizing that they were the only ones in the lift for the first time. "Hmmm...Looks like you were talking to me." "Well?" Kerstin finally said when he didn't answer. "I asked you a question! Who are you?" "I would have thought that was obvious miss," He said. "I'm a student like you are." Kerstin glared at him, "I never said I was a student." Even though she knew it was likely that he recognized her. Kerstin folded her arms across her chest, tapping her right foot on the floor. Why does he seem familiar? "You're quite correct." He agreed with her. "That still doesn't answer my first question." She pointed out and then sighed with exasperation. "Fine, how about I tell you my name, okay?" She fixed him with yet another glare. "But in return I expect you to tell me yours." "It's not necessary, everyone knows who you are. Kerstin Anderson, correct?" He smiled at her expression. "I didn't attend the ball they held for your brother, but I saw the announcement. I'll tell you my name just the same though. It's Daniel. Any other questions?" He teased her. Kerstin relaxed a bit and then tensed up yet again. "Only one," she pointed to the indicator on the lift. "Why are we going all the way to the roof? I could have sworn that the option was not selected when I got on and chose the thirtieth floor."

I just went by what you posted:
GROUP ONE: - Mary Winters - Julian Marx - Oromis Tu?wail - Lucia Travera GROUP TWO: - Brittany Cossentine - Alcuin no Prideux GROUP THREE: - Sastasha Sandares (In Dafine?s body) - Dafine Hecata (In Sastasha?s body) - Etamet *Delita?s Body*
The only thing I changed was to indicate that the eternal onlooker was in Delita's body. That is correct isn't it? Oh and I added some colors to it as you can see from my previous post:
Group 1 Mary Winters Julian Marx Oromis Tu'wail Lucia Travera Group 2 Brittany Cossentine Alcuin nó Prideux Group 3 Sastasha Sandares (Dafine in his body) Dafine Hecata (Sastasha in her body) Etamet Delita (the eternal onlooker in her body)
:p Thanks for answering the question about the post count though. EDIT: I see, I mentioned breaking Brittany and Alcuin into group three and four. Opps! I guess if they were split one would remain group two and the other would become group four. Since they couldn't become group three. lol I didn't realize I said group three and four instead of group two and four. -
My god o.o, SunfallE you ruthless little sunflower you. lol
I have to agree, she seems so nice...so friendly...but just when you least expect it. POW! Damn if that isn't cold hearted and ruthless! LOL [the fact that I would have probably done the same doesn't count!] Anyway...I really hope there isn't more of that card, I really don't want to be next. >_< On another topic, having posted I made it clear that group one and two have now joined together, bringing us back to only three groups: Group 1 Mary Winters Julian Marx Oromis Tu'wail Lucia Travera Group 2 Brittany Cossentine Alcuin nó Prideux Group 3 Sastasha Sandares (Dafine in his body) Dafine Hecata (Sastasha in her body) Etamet Delita (the eternal onlooker in her body) I left Brittany and Alcuin together since they probably are semi-close together, though if you guys keep them separated we can always break them into group three and four. Anyway and the countdown starts since we have to post ten times before we can kill so the count is 9 more to go! Though I assume any posts by DB/Nonentity don't count towards the ten? Since now you have a public execution to perform! -
Group One Mary and Lucia were on the ground, clutching tightly to each other, in a fit of tears. Julian was on the ground, puking blood for lack of stomach contents. Even Oromis was shaken by the events. It had been one thing to choose someone to die and yet another to watch them die. Oromis almost didn't notice that the platform they were on was moving until he realized that he was traveling upwards. The sound of something opening above them could be heard and then the platform snapped into place in a huge room. And then seconds later the floor seemed to blur and then it was if nothing had happened, the floor appearing unbroken. "We should go," Oromis said. Hating to say it, but knowing it was necessary. If they were ever to leave this place, to find the way out, they could not afford to rest. Lucia reached up and wiped the tears from her face and slowly got up, urging Mary to get up as well. "He's right Mary, we need to find the way out." Mary was getting up when suddenly she realized what she was seeing, "Lucia! What happened?" She exclaimed as she saw the horrible bruises on the back of her legs. "It's nothing to worry about Mary, I'm fine." Mary just stomped her right foot as she got up. "Well I can guess what happened." She said angrily, after all she remembered what her first cruel master had been like, before she had been given to a kinder one. "I took care of that horrible Katar! He'll never bother you again!" Puzzled Lucia turned to Julian who was finally getting up, wiping the blood from his mouth. "So his name was Katar huh? No loss there if you ask me. But yeah," He said to the unanswered question in Lucia's eyes. "Mary shot that bastard." Startled Lucia turned back to Mary who was clearly thinking about something. "All right!" Mary said suddenly, her mind made up. "You two," she indicated the two guys, "Turn around and no peeking! Miss Lucia can't possibly go around in those filthy rags!" With a shrug Julian joined Oromis, and turned away. Curious as to what Mary had in mind. "It's all right Mary, besides, we don't have anything else for me to wear." "Sure we do." Mary said brightly. "I'm wearing four full cotton petticoats under my uniform. Two of them would be more than enough to cover you. Now get out of those while I change." Lucia started to protest again but stopped when Mary quickly removed her top dress and took off the top two petticoats and handed them to Lucia before putting her main dress back on top of the remaining ones. With a sigh of relief she put them on, they weren't much different than the summer dress she had been wearing only they didn't leave her shoulders exposed. Mary must come from a very conservative place, Lucia thought, these petticoats are more like two light weight dresses! "Thank you Mary," Lucia said. Feeling more at ease, even though she still had no panties. At least Mary wasn't that much shorter that she was, and since the dress went to the floor on Mary, the petticoats went down well past her knees. "Thank you Oromis," Lucia said when Mary told them they could turn back around, she handed him the clothing back. He left the jacket and took the shirt back, putting it back on. "Well now that you two have taken care of that lets get moving." Oromis said, picking a direction at random. "The sooner we get out of here the better."

1) What grade are you going into after this year? Are you graduating? Or did you already graduate? If so, what year? Well currently I'm finishing up my masters degree. If all goes well I'll get that either this fall or next spring. Then when I'm finished I'll be moving to another university to get my doctorate. So I've already graduated from High School and College once and I plan on doing so again. 2) Are you, or were you, worried? What do you plan to do with your life or are you just as confused, (and in some cases, scared) about the future as I am? Not really, I knew pretty early on what I wanted to do. I was worried briefly last year when I was in a serious car accident resulting in a broken leg. I had to take several months off since I couldn't play at all until I healed up. Now I'm back into school again and other than that brief delay things are going well. 3) Did everything work out in the end? Or was there some sort of hinderance that kept you from going or doing what you wanted to? So far things have, other than the brief delay I mentioned in the previous question. 4) What sort of advice can you give to someone like me? (Someone in high school who is freaked out of his mind) Don't freak or give up. And most of all as others have put it, don't take time off other than the standard summer before fall begins. A fair amount of degrees require the same general education classes so you can start there as well as trying a few things you think you would like. Personally I found College to be much better than High School, but then most music programs in High Schools are pretty lacking. Anyway...another thing to consider, don't be put off if you don't completely love what you're doing. Every major is going to have it's ups and downs so if things get a little hard don't let it stop you from continuing. Too many of my friends have done that, didn't like part of their chosen field and quit. If for the most part you love what you are doing, stick with it and ride out the times when it frustrates you. It will be worth it in the end.

*hides in the corner* I just saw the disabled list that would cause imprisonment. Damn! >_< That just confirms it. I did cause three of the four incidents. At least the other things on the list were not something I would have posted. And that card you gave SunfallE? I really hope there aren't very many of those. o_O And correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like Delita is very much alive or rather she is possessed by someone. But who ever created her still gets to keep her as a character. So if she makes it out her original creator wins. This is going to get interesting. That's for sure. -
o_O So we've all been modified huh? Damn! Why do I never guess these things? lol Though I bet Daego is more upset over it than anyone seeing that he's been annoyed ever since he found out about the research in sector fourteen. Man and here I was thinking we'd finally learn more about what the mysterious third project in sector fourteen was. Feh!
I don't know how this comment will be perceived but as great as each of her reviews are (and i mean that, I read all of them when i have the time) they are reviews for TheO. It's been a bit since the direct ties between OB and TheO have been severed, and this is our newspaper. I guess what I'm saying is that it would be redundant to constantly take such written reviews and articles from TheO because they've been written already. I'm sure there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind undertaking the task of writing up DVD reviews for the animes that interest them as they come out or as they get them her on OB. It gives people more options to write and that way it's like our own contribution since it's the OB news, not TheO news. I'm not saying we couldn't use some reviews every now and then, but not to fill up our review section with already written ones from another source.
Not to be picky but you seem to have missed this part:
Seems to me that a good place to get reviews that are fairly current is straight from theOtaku since Gail does them of new DVD releases. So with that in mind I have gone through the past month at that site and got names and links to all of the ones she has done for the newspaper. It could go under either the Review section or the News section [/B']of the paper.
I don't think she was suggesting that we only use reviews from theOtaku, or that we couldn't write our own. And I see no reason why we couldn't include it in the news section that is as the title put it Beyond OtakuBoards Though it would probably be a good idea to have more than just reviews from other places for the part that comes from other sites. Besides isn't Gail a member of OB? Isn't her user name Panda? So technically you could consider it to have been written by an OB member. At least I'm pretty sure that it's her. lol EDIT: Okay I checked and it is her Panda's the Category Moderator of Community for the site. As well as an Administrator for theOtaku.
:animedepr :animecry: :( You killed my single favoritist character. You have invoked a sadness that can only become a wrath unseen by eyes of any mortal throughout the ages of history! j/k ... (or is it?) ... (naw I'm yanking ya...) (OR AM I?!?!)
Too bad. :p I think I made it clear that I disliked Meredith, just as you and Darren disliked Katar. She may not have been a pervert or a rapist like Katar, but she was still a killer. I've wanted her dead ever since that post where Darren had her remembering the time when she killed a kid. Trust me, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. -
Anywho, soon as anyone posts, i'll follow it up by releasing both prisoners, assuming both survive said post.
I have now posted and as a result Meredith is now dead. And unless SunfallE, BKstyles or Allamorph kill off Alucin that leaves only him to be released. And now like some of the others I have killed a guy and a girl making my score in that respect even. Not that it matters since I was already planning on killing a girl anyway. Now we just need the other three to kill someone off so we can get this show on the road.
