Group One Sastasha just sighed to himself, so much for finishing recording the new song his group had been working on. When he had opened the door to the studio and stepped through he had found himself here. And what a bunch of weirdos too! As they started through the doors to leave the rapidly cooling area, Sastasha wished that they could leave that scumbag Katar as well as the stuck up bitch Claire behind. Sure he liked ladies as much as the next guy, but not enough to do what Katar had, and in front of all those people no less! Obviously the loser was use to getting away with what ever he wanted. Sastasha was use to getting what he wanted but usually it was the other way around, the ladies were throwing themselves at him, he didn't have to resort to grabbing them. He was walking through the doors when he accidentally bumped into the one wearing a maid's outfit. "I'm sorry," he said with a charming smile. "I didn't meant to bump into you." But the skittish girl just moved away and in front of the one with blue hair as if to guard her from him. "It's alright Mary," Lucia said. "But miss! He's probably a pervert like the other one, especially since you're not fully dressed!" Mary said urgently. Lucia was confused. Sure she was wearing a dress and her shoulders were exposed, but unlike Claire, she wasn't dressed like some floozy. Claire's outfit may have covered her completely, but it was open in the front clearly showing off her full figure with the diamond shaped opening right in the middle of her chest. "I don't know where you are from Mary," Sastasha said kindly, "But her dress," he indicated Lucia. "Is perfectly decent. Unlike a certain would be princess." Sastasha smirked a bit when Claire shot him a dirty look. Confused Mary turned and looked at Lucia, "Is that true miss Lucia?" Lucia smiled reassuringly. "It is, what I have on is a summer dress." All of them jumped when Marius spoke from the other room. "Unless you three plan on freezing, would you mind moving so I can shut the doors?" Sastasha turned and faced her, "I'm sorry, I was apologizing to the young lady for accidentally bumping into her." He moved immediately out of the way along with Lucia and Mary, who was blushing over having been called 'young lady' As Marius closed the doors Sastasha introduced himself to Lucia and Mary. "Well since I know that your name is Lucia and yours is Mary it only seems fair to tell you mine. I am Sastasha." Lucia extended her right hand and shook Satasha's hand, "Nice to meet you." She let go with a small smile. He seemed nice enough. When Sastasha turned to Mary, she ignored his outstretched hand and instead offered a small bow. "Nice to meet you sir." She said. Sastasha laughed. "There's no need to call me sir. Just Sastasha." "Well isn't that just precious." A snide voice said from behind the three, causing them to whirl around. "Playing nice with two little goodie two shoes. I think I'm going to be sick." Claire looked at all of them with disdain. Sastasha put his hands in his pockets and smirked a bit, he had dealt with Claire's type before, greedy, grasping and vulgar. "Well seeing that these two," he indicated Lucia and Mary with a nod, "Are much nicer that either you or that loser," this time he indicated Katar who just raised an eyebrow. "Then I suggest you and the loser get lost." "Or perhaps it would be better if you three got lost." Claire said viciously. Lucia started to try and say something but Marius beat her too it. "Listen here Claire, I've about had enough of your bitchy attitude so shut up. We don't have time for this kind of nonsense, we need to find the way out of this place." Claire whirled to face Marius, intending to say something only to halt at Marius's expression. "Fine." She spat before turning to look for the next set of doors.

Discuss The Panopticon Underground [M-LSV]
Rachmaninoff replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
I have one thing I'm confused about and that's with Prem's lastest post. I thought that 2007DigitalBoy trapped all of group two in a room full of blood that they escaped, but Prem wrote as if Desmond was off by himself. So how did that happen? I missed the post where he went off by himself. So if someone could clear that up for me I'd appreciate it. -
I have no doubt that eight will be plenty. After all, I feel DB quite capable of interpreting the eight rules so as to best . . . amuse himself. Am I right?
I stand corrected, put in that prospective, it is now crystal clear that eight is more than enough. lol
I promise it will be a major surprise when it happens. The only hint I will give is that all of them are things considered worthless toward their survival and/or endangering toward it. More specifically, things that a utopian society would not allow.
A surprise that I am looking forward to. ;) After all I enjoyed surprising you guys the last time. Utopian huh? Hmmm... that leaves it open to be quite a few things then. Either way should be fun. -

Rachmaninoff replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
I only hope someone runs into one of the 8 rules, so I can implement the punishment, heh.
Only eight? lol And here I was thinking you had dozens of ways for the characters to get nailed. Though I suppose it would be a problem if everyone got imprisoned. Anyway, since there are so many characters I posted again to get another intro done. I don't suppose you could edit the first page with a list of characters that you consider to be introduced? Since with so many of them, it's going to become tricky keeping track of who has actually been introduced. If it helps I have now introduced: Lucia Travera - Group One Uriel Blaine - Group Three -
Group Three Uriel Blaine was more than content to say next to nothing and allow Eliana and Etamet to tentatively take over. There was one thing that was bothering him more than anything else, the reference by this mysterious CCC that they were experimental contestants. As a Genetic Engineer he knew perfectly well that experimental was merely another word for expendable. And the way this CCC had been more than willing to kill all of them if they hadn't left the room immediately was troubling. What kind of experiment allowed for such a potentially high termination rate? And the people he was now stuck with, at least for the moment, they didn't seem to realize the danger as they were being far to calm. Calm enough that he was certain that it was highly likely that one of them was a member of this CCC deliberately planted in their group to observe them or to make sure certain conditions were met. At least that was one possible scenario and for that reason alone he was observing everyone, searching for any clues as to what was going on. Saying next to nothing when talked to. But it was far to soon to have any real answers and as they started heading for the set of double doors leading out of the area the girl who had earlier said there was no such thing as space travel moved over and semi-whispered to him. "So why are you watching everyone?" She said, her eyes narrowed as if contemplating just what Uriel was up to. Uriel had never liked kids, noisy, irritating and always breaking things. "Why are you so nosy?" He shot back softly. "I'm trying to figure out what's going on of course!" She said indignantly, "Thats what my teacher is always saying, Penny, pay attention, Penny read this, Penny, Penny, Penny! So answer the question if you please." Uriel sighed with exasperation. "I would have thought it was obvious kid, I'm trying to learn who everyone is. Just as you learn your classmates names in school." "But this isn't school." Penny pointed out. "So? Knowing who the people are around you as well as paying attention to your environment is crucial to survival, even if you aren't in a place like this." Uriel explained. "How else do you think any life form has managed to survive?" Penny started to answer but Uriel cut her off, "Go and bother someone else Penny." Then he continued walking across the room with the others ignoring Penny who after giving him a cross eyed look behind his back, did as he suggested, heading over to ask someone else questions. He sighed with relief. Damn if he didn't hate kids. Then as they all paused in front of the double doors leading to the next area Etamet reached out and started to open them. "Guess there's only one way to find out what's on the other side." He said as he opened the doors.

My next post is going to be the one where Darren and Kerstin finally see each other again, so that works perfectly for me. Since until the ships arrive that can't happen anyway. And Darren's avoiding Jared as much as possible so there's not much else to post about at the moment. :p

Discuss The Panopticon Underground [M-LSV]
Rachmaninoff replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
Well when you said video, I had no idea what you were referring to, but that was not it. lol I tried to not laugh at it but I couldn't help it. :p That was a fun idea. And it certainly helped to set the tone for the game. Also, since I worked with two characters in my post does that mean they are both introduced? Or only the one I mainly focused on? -
Group One Lucia Travera spent a few moments calming a young girl who was a bit on the hysterical side before standing up and looking to the group she had found herself with. There were nine others besides herself. She didn't know what was going on. Lucia had just finished working with one patient and was about to admit the next one when she had suddenly found herself in this strange place. And that video that had been playing, she had not missed the implication that most of them would die. She was trained to pay attention to what was going on in the conversations around her and she had not missed how the distorted voice had referred to them as 'experimental contestants' or the name 'Central Command Center' But even more importantly the part where it had said 'There will be penalties for those who act in a way that the CCC does not allow.' And yet no explanation of just what those ways were was given. It irritated Lucia, someone was playing games and she didn't like it, not one bit. Experiments in psychology were done where she was from, but never with actual people. And considering how rudely they were brought here, without consent, she had no doubt that the threat of death was real. She looked at the room they were now in, there wasn't much to look at as it was empty and at this point it looked like there was only one direction to go. Lucia made up her mind. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I for one have no intention of dying." "Now now, there's no need to get excited." A richly dressed woman said. "How do you figure that?" Lucia asked. "Because no one would dare to harm me sweetie." She said as she reached into her expensive purse and pulled out a cigarette. Lighting it and then lazily smoking while she stood there calmly. "And you are?" Lucia inquired. Instantly disliking the woman. "Ah, of course," the woman said in a patronizing tone. "I forget that a little thing like you would have never heard of me. I am Claire Montoya, Heiress to ZIO Cyber Corporation." She stood there self importantly, waiting for the others to recognize her. "But... there is no ZIO Cyber Corporation on Searis." Lucia replied, a bit confused.
I have some sick ideas for how this will explode into action, just a quick q - anyone here have media player issues? Like you can't easily listen to music or watch videos?
Usually I don't have issues, but if the video in question is too graphic. I won't finish it. I'm not into mindless gore and such. It's one thing to read it, but watch it? Meh. One other thing, did you hear from BKstyles? Since I don't recall you confirming that you got characters from them.
Still I'm thinking that Sandy must be planning on pitting us in challenges that take advantage of the attributes we listed, like graphics, music, anime, rpg, etc. So who ever wins could pit someone good at graphics against someone who listed it as a weakness.
Even if he did, a lot has happened since this started, so those lists of strengths and weaknesses probably aren't as accurate as they were when we all signed up. Still I can see where you are going with this. There has to be something that would make getting the option of choosing the teams for dueling that would give the winner an advantage over the other team. That or Sandy's simply
messing with us. =P
To Darren it was strange to be so close to sector one already. He was too use to being required to stop for security as well as cargo checks. And he had never been on a ship that simply bypassed most of the required stops. It made sense that the flagships of the fleet as well as other military battleships would have the clearance to bypass a lot of the required stops, but still. Part of him kept expecting them to be hailed and ordered to stop. It was obvious that both Commodore Sandra and her second in command Jared were use to it though as they seemed to be unaffected by any of it. And so far other than a brief stop they had traveled without pause. They had already passed the border between sector one and six a while ago. It wouldn't be long before they arrived at the home world. Darren sighed. And then the real fun would begin, or so he had thought. That is until Sandra had sent him a list of idiotic social functions that he would be required to attend during his first month there. She had patiently explained to him why he had to go and that she herself would be attending them with him. But still, he would have preferred to skip them if possible. But Sandra had been firm. He would be attending whether he liked it or not. And on some level, Darren understood, even if he had not moved in higher political circles, he had followed them. If only to make sure he avoided being dragged into any form of politics. At least Kerstin would probably enjoy it. Sandra had indicated that she could attend too and unlike him, she enjoyed such nonsense. But then he could hardly blame her. Most of her work as an artist was done for wealthy clients. So it only made sense. He closed the list since he had looked at it before and seeing it again was starting to get on his nerves. Instead Darren brought up the latest dispatch that had been sent to him in regards to shipping. It didn't surprise him that he was required to reauthorize shipping in sector seven to the planet that had been attacked. He had already done so for the stuff needed for rebuilding. The facilities that had been destroyed had been replaced with new ones on the less active sections of the planet, avoiding the more volcanic areas, for the moment that is. Copyright weiweihua @DeviantArt It wasn't quite the same and the dull and lifeless looking facilites couldn't do as much as the previous one's had, but in the short time since the attack they had restarted over fifty percent of the previous manufacturing that had been going on. And there were notes indicating that a new process would enable them to rebuild structures in the craters where the previous facilities had been destroyed. It made sense to continue using the location since the facilities for the lesser races was already in place on the moon, but Darren would have thought that they would have simply moved elsewhere. Not that it mattered. What did was that everything appeared to be in order so Darren wrote up the authorization to begin and then also made a notation in his hand held computer so it would remind him later to double check the shipments of finished products. To make sure that things were still running smoothly in sector seven. Then he shut everything down for the day. It wasn't hard to do the work, but even he found it tiring after working on it all day long. He got up taking a moment to stretch before deciding what to do. Then since he was done he wandered into the kitchen area of his quarters. First he'd have something to eat and then he'd do something relaxing for a change, whether it was to read something he liked, listen to some music or simply enjoy the view. It didn't matter. Any evening that he didn't see Jared was enough to be relaxing.

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread
Rachmaninoff replied to Charles's topic in General Discussion
Okay ten days later I finally have the one on indifference. If anyone wants to add to it feel free since I had to dig though her past posts since I wasn't a member for most of the time. lol indifference indifference or Crystia, her real name, joined OtakuBoards on 07-25-2005 Though initially she only posted occasionally. Before long she could be seen around the boards actively participating in the discussions in many sections of the boards. Later indifference joined the staff as a Moderator of the Anime Lounge on 03-08-2006 On 06-19-2006 when the infamous The Complaint thread was posted, indifference was one of the moderators who came under attack by the previously secretive group known as MAMA "Members Against Mods and Admins" Since they felt that a newer member should not have been given the position of Moderator. It was a view that was not shared by the current staff since only a few days later on 06-21-2006 indifference was promoted to Category Moderator of Tokyo 3, now known as Category Moderator of Entertainment. indifference is also one of the founders of the Desbreko Fanclub and a self proclaimed Desbreko FanGirl as well as friends with SunfallE, Aaryanna, Aaryanna_Mom, Mariskah and many other members. Both on OtakuBoards and outside she is also friends with Rachmaninoff. Currently she is mostly active in the Adventure Square participating in the RPG Silver One as well as posting in other areas of the boards. indifference lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and is attending the University of Utah where she will be receiving her bachelor's degree in the summer of 2007 and then immediately continuing in the fall of 2007 to pursue her next degree. She also works as a volunteer for victims of domestic violence while attending school since her chosen field is working as a therapist. -
I'm going to accept you both, but if your posting sucks, I'll have your characters brutally murdered right off the bat, then take away your death cards XD.
I'd believe him if I were you guys, since his deaths, especially when DB is annoyed are graphic and bloody. :p Also I see that you're using Deoky as your sample image, I take it that you're fond of that picture then? I still love how Sandy killed him off in the last one. And since my introduction of him into the game last time was taken in the wrong context does that mean you'll exact your revenge on me during this one?
I kid.
Anyway, I don't have time to create the three characters at the moment, or rather I haven't found ones that I like just yet, but I'll send them along later, and this time I'll be able to kill. At least I hope I am since you did say there will be some restrictions. Either way, should be interesting. I know I'm wondering if it will have all the insane and wacky stuff you guys did in the last one.
That's what I mean by ineffective. Ratings are pretty much cursory right now, and I would think that previews are quite sufficient for a parent to decide upon a movie's suitablilty or lack thereof.
I'm surprised to see you say that when previews for R movies have to be edited to be suitable to be aired with movies that aren't rated R. Just take a look here:
A green band is an all-green graphic at the beginning of the trailer, usually reading "The following PREVIEW has been approved for ALL AUDIENCES by the Motion Picture Association of America," and sometimes including the movie's MPAA rating. This signifies that the trailer adheres to the standards for motion picture advertising outlined by the MPAA, which includes limitations on foul language and violent, sexual, or otherwise objectionable imagery. Trailers that do not adhere to these guidelines may be issued a red band, (which used to be blood red) which reads "The following PREVIEW has been approved for RESTRICTED AUDIENCES ONLY by the Motion Picture Association of America," and may only be shown before an R-rated, NC-17-rated, or unrated movie. The MPAA also mandates that trailers not exceed two minutes and thirty seconds in length, and each major studio is given one exception to this rule per year.
Previews are advertising, not an indication of what to expect as far as sex, language, violence or other objectionable imagery in the actual movie is going to be. That's what the ratings are for. As for the topic, if what the article states about studies showing that smoking does influence minors is true, then I don't really see the problem with including it as part of the rating process. Personally I think it's highly unlikely since minors pretty much do what they want anyway. Regardless if they've seen it in a movie or not.
And that doesn't include what I'll be throwing into the mix, what with my objective and all. Which is going to be lots of fun. And other than this comment that's all the hint you're going to get. *evil laughter*
Considering that you control Jared, I'll take that as a hint to have Darren run and hide...Only...He cant! o_O Hopefully this means he's going to clobber those who want to kill Darren and not Darren himself. lol Either way, should be fun. I'm still working on how Darren's going to react to Kerstin meeting Jared. Kerstin will probably enjoy it since she's too clueless to know what he's like, but Darren? I'll keep my mouth shut so I won't spoil what I think you have in mind. That way when I'm totally wrong I can pretend I was right! :p

Just one more week and they would be in sector one. At first Darren had been excited about it, eager to move to the quarters that were already in place for the shipping expert for the High Council. But the more he thought about it, the more he began to wonder. If what Sandra said was true, and he couldn't think of any reason for her to lie, the security for that was handled by the internal security force. And that was the very force that she had said that those who wanted him dead were attempting to use to get to him. If it were him, Darren knew that he would never risk letting some be guarded by the very force that had been comprised. It was a thought he did not like. Since the more he considered that line of reasoning, the more convinced he became that Jared would insist he stay on the Creator. Sandra had already confirmed that they would be staying in sector one for some time. She hadn't given him the full details but she and Stevens apparently had their own work that needed to be done. So in the end Darren was convinced that Jared would indeed make him stay on board. It would be the most effective way to protect him. Even those who objected to him would find it extremely difficult to get someone into the military on the Creator. It took years if not decades of service to be promoted to a position on a flagship. So the chances of them having someone already on board was slim. Darren did his best to not sigh. Unless he was mistaken he was still going to be stuck on the Creator. After all opening a transport door to where his office would be would be far safer than transporting him around on the home world. As well as transporting him to Kerstin, or simply having her transport to where he was located. Darren frowned a bit. Knowing Jared, he was probably waiting until the last moment to tell him since he enjoyed doing things that upset him. Well this was one time that it wouldn't work. Well, not that he wouldn't be upset, only that it wouldn't be a surprise. It was a shame he couldn't talk to Kerstin. Even though one could communicate in hyper space it was limited at the moment to military transmissions only. So he would have to wait until they actually arrived to contact her. And even then there would be stuff that the Creator would be doing when they arrived that would take priority over any personal communications. Still it was only a week. Darren smiled a bit as he watched the view from his quarters, no matter what happened, he was really looking forward to seeing her. Even if she hadn't changed as far as physical appearance went, they had a lot of catching up to do. And he still hadn't looked up the type of art that she did for a living. Darren turned and went over to his computer terminal and pulled up the information. In no time at all he was looking over the work she had done. He had known that she liked to paint, but had no idea that she was that talented. He took a moment to get up and go and fix himself a drink, then drink in tow, he returned and continued looking through her portfolio.

Sounds good to me. I like both ideas so I'll make one of the Sunflowers as well since that was my idea. Between the four of us we're bound to make one totally cool team flag. And I know that I intend to make matching avatars to go along with the flag. Well not so much matching as rather with the same theme. So unless I hear differently Kathy, I'll get started on that tomorrow, or rather later today I should say. Then I'll be sure to send each of you a copy via pm. ;)
-
Wow, I had no idea this thread was even in here. Nor had I heard of this game before. As silly as it it, reading the thread was hilarious. And even more importantly it seems that I lose. LOL!

First of all, welcome to the team SunfallE. ;) I believe that most of you already know that I?m 26 and currently in College working on my Masters Degree in Music, my instrument of choice being the Cello. And that at this point my classes are far from boring as I'm getting more in depth as far as music theory, music education and choral conducting is concerned. I also spend a fair amount of my spare time with my friends. In the summer?s we go hiking on trails, as there are a lot of nice hikes one can do in the mountains here and on weekends we almost always either go out to a movie or get together at someone?s house to watch movies. Anyway... When I first started this I listed everything else other than debates and discussions as a weakness, but since then I've been learning how to do graphics and though I don't have a more expensive program like CS2, I've learned a lot so I can help in that area if needed. Now I don't know about the rest of you but I'm excited. Not only have we gained a new team member but it's going to be fun to create a new flag and choose a new team color to represent all of us. We've got a pretty diverse team in my opinion, which can only be a good thing. Now as for getting down to the challenge...First of all I'm of the opinion to keep the same Captain we had before since I think Aaryanna_Mom is a great choice. I really don't have an interest in doing it myself. Secondly when it comes to the name, I'm thinking of something bright and cheerful and with that in mind I thought of this: The Sunflowers Because Sunflowers are bright and cheery, bold yet comfortable, their bright petals stretched towards the sun. This unique behavior, known as phototropism, is a motif that has appeared in many ancient myths and is viewed as a symbol of loyalty and constancy. Their physical resemblance to the sun has also influenced their meanings. The sunflower?s petals have been likened to bright yellow rays of sunshine, which evoke feelings of warmth and happiness. In addition, the sunflower is often associated with adoration and longevity. All of these things are traits that I think suit our team members. ;) And I found a nice site with the code for several gold colors that I think would look great since the yellow in the drop down menu for OtakuBoards doesn't really show up that well. Here's the colors I found as well as the code that would be needed for the color tags should we need to post in the team color, if we were to go with this suggestion that is: Golden Rod - Code #DAA520 Gold - Code #FFD700 Dark Golden Rod - Code #B8860B We would of course pick one of the three as the main color, I'm partial to either Gold or Golden Rod myself. And the others could be used as secondary colors when creating our Team Flag and matching avatars should we choose. And I've already scouted out some great Sunflower pictures for use in the new Team flag. So there's my suggestion. ;) I'm sure all of you can tell that I was recently checking out flowers to give some to my mom for Mother's Day. Anyway, what type of color do you guys want to use or what other names do you have in mind? Also if I have another idea for names and colors I'll be sure to post it. Though right now I'm rather partial to my current suggestion.

I still live close to my parents so I went over earlier and spent some time with my mom. My dad always takes her out on Saturday, which he did, and then on Sunday those of us who still live close always show up for lunch. Which by the way either we prepare or buy premade. We never let her cook on Mother's day. And then I always give her something I know she'll like. This year it was a cd of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor along with another cd that had Piano Concertos by the same composer. It's something I know she's been wanting to add to her collection of classical cd's. And of course I always get her some roses since she's a great mom. :animesmil
-
Well so long as I don't have to draw...I call 14) That's Love I'll have it back to you before the two weeks are up.
-
Wow, I'm surprised it's over already. I was only waiting on others to post to add some more. Still...Congrats everyone. I know I enjoyed the challenge, especially some of the fun and wacky stuff all of you posted. ;) Anyway, since that means we get to decide I have responded to your pm Kathy and I sent it to everyone else as well. So now we just need to see what Aaryanna and Anomaly want to do. Either way, I think it's going to be great fun when the next challenge starts. I only hope it's not a similar one of creating flags and being judged. If only because that would seem repetitive in my opinion. That and the Mercenaries have been quite the force to be reckoned with so it will seem strange to pick new colors and names. lol I guess we'll have to see what our [strike]tormentor[/strike] kind Sandy has in mind for us. :p

Kerstin was so excited that she felt like she was going to burst! Darren was already on his way to sector one, he was due to arrive in a couple of weeks. She had already finished the portrait for him and had started on another one, not of him of course, but of someone else. And she couldn't wait to show it off to Darren and get his opinion of it. Everything was turning out so beautifully. The Resistance had been dealt with on Earth, the rest of their family had been cut off, something that after dealing with their stupidity for years was a big relief. Kerstin had grown weary of her father's stupidity. And Kerstin had gotten to do what she had dreamed of. Studying under some of the best artists on Reflection. Something that would not have been possible with out her brother Darren since even her income, though fairly impressive had not been enough to afford living on Reflection. But what really had her happy was knowing that she would get to drag Darren all over the place like they use to do when they were kids. She really missed that once he took over his father's company and started working. And then even more so when in the past ten years they sort of lost contact. Not intentionally of course, it just happened. She had so much to talk with him about. Kerstin set her tools down and started cleaning up for the day. It was late and she was getting a tiny bit tired. She finished up and then went and cleaned up, washing off the paint that had gotten on her hands as well as changing into some comfortable blue pants and a plain blue shirt. Then once she was done she headed for the cafeteria area of the university dorms. Even though she had a small area for preparing food, she often preferred to simply get some since Kerstin hated cooking. Besides those who were learning the culinary arts often worked in the cafeteria in order to better hone their arts and sometimes what they fixed for the day was simply divine. Even with her income and the reducing living rate and cost of attending the university, she could not really afford to eat out at the lavish restaurants on Reflection, at least not every often. Though she did have plenty of suitors who seemed to be more than happy to take her out to dinner. There were certainly plenty of wealthy fools running around on Reflection for all sorts of reasons, many of them with more money than they could ever spend. Though she had to be careful with that as often many of them expected more than her company for dinner. And the idea that buying her dinner meant she had to sleep with them was something Kerstin found irritating. She was an artist and if her company was not enough that was just too bad. She would rather starve than let some of those fools touch her. So now more often than not she rarely went out with anyone. Not that she was a prude, no, it was more that she was a bit more picky when it came to sex or rather just who she would have it with. Kerstin sighed a bit as she entered the cafeteria. So many boys and so few men. She thought to herself. And then giggled a bit at the idea. A moment later after finding some wonderful seafood that had been made, she quickly picked up some dishes and got them to go, taking them back to her room, since some of those boys she had just been thinking about had entered the cafeteria area. The very last thing she wanted to do was have to endure their company while she had her dinner. Kerstin pretended to not see them waving at her and then quickly made an exit, running to catch the elevator that would take her to the top floor where her room was. Then she took it out on the balcony and set things up at the small table and chairs there. The breeze as always was pleasant, just as the beautiful view from her balcony was as well. Making for a wonderful and very relaxing dinner. She would have to invite Darren up here for dinner. It would be the perfect spot for them to catch up on what the other one had been up to.

Gei'Ser returned to the bridge of the Mercenary since he had finished making sure everyone had double checked all their weapons and gear. He entered the bridge and headed for his seat near the Commander. "I take it that you are finished Gei'Ser?" Kth'ya asked him. "Yes Commander, everyone is ready, what about Bany'eth? Didn't you send her out to scout the area?" He asked. "I did, she just returned a few minutes ago and is heading here with her report as well." The Commander turned to Axel'nrad, "What about you Axel'nrad, have you finished hacking into the Titanic Army of Humankind's systems?" Axel'nrad snickered. "Already done Commander. I think you'll like what I got." Gei'Ser turend to Axel'nrad, "I don't suppose you thought of hacking into both the Lolloths and the Argrs systems? It would be useful to see if we could get information on them, don't you think Commander?" "It would, but for the moment I'm more interested in the Titanic Army of..." she grimaced. "Damn if that isn't a stupid and long name. We should change it to something more fitting." She paused thinking for a moment. Then snapped her fingers. "I've got it! We'll call them TAM!" Gei'Ser raised an eyebrow, "That seems even more silly if you ask me Commander. And how did you come up with an M instead of an H? I thought it was Humankind not Mankind." "I changed it, since it's easier to think of something for Mankind instead of Humankind. " Then Kth'ya snickered, " That way it can stand for Terribly Arrogant Morons. Much better than Terribly Arrogant Humans right?" Axel'nrad giggled. "Thats almost as bad as the original. Whether it's Morons or Humans." "Well as soon as one of you thinks of something better, we'll use it. So for now..." Kth'ya said in a mock offended tone, "TAM it is. Now as soon as Bany'eth gets here we'll start going over everything. Once we finish finalizing our invasion plans, it will be time to take action." She smiled. "I'm going to enjoy this." Gei'Ser turned at the sound of the bridge doors opening to admit Bany'eth. "It's about time slowpoke!" He joked as she took her seat. Bany'eth just made a face at Gei'Ser and turned to face the Commander. "Here's what I found out Commander." The rest of them gathered around to listen to her report. Gei'Ser just smiled to himself, his mind still on thoughts of finally getting revenge on the Argrs for the death of his family. Though he was looking forward to conquering Earth as well. It was going to be a glorious day in the history of the Merceri.

All right, a bit late as well, but here's mine and since I've an idea for a post I'll get working on it. Name: Gei'Ser Rach'Off Gender: Male Age: 28 Special Skills: Heavy weapons specialist. As well as an excellent pilot. Description: Gei'Ser is 6'3 with blue hair just past his shoulders and pale blue eyes. Personality: Steady and reliable, a bit to serious since Bany'eth pranks always get on his nerves. Short Bio: Gei'Ser ended up serving under Kth'ya when Gin'av was killed in battle. He originally joined the fleet a while ago since though he is steady and easygoing, Gei'Ser has always wanted to visit other regions of space. And like the rest of his people he has a strong desire for conquest as well as for exploration. He also has a personal agenda since his family was killed in a conflict between the Merceri and the bloodthirsty Argrs. More than anything he would love to exact revenge on those who were responsible for their deaths.
