The very last thing Darren had ever expected was to get yet another message sent directly to him. This time from none other than Fleet Admiral Stevens shortly after the Conqueror dropped out of hyperspace and joined the fleet currently stationed at Earth. He didn?t like it, not one bit. Receiving messages directly instead of through Jared implied that he had connections, connections that he did not want nor did he want other merchants to think he did. He had always hated the politics surrounding the military, the backstabbing and scrambling for the tiniest indication of favor. It was why he had stayed neutral; he did not want enemies among the merchants. But once it got out that the High Council had selected him to work at Earth, the fact that he had been caught in a restricted sector was being overlooked by the other merchants who were envious of what they thought was an ideal assignment. Just the other day when he had talked to Mike he had been required to authorize him to hire some additional security for his ship as there had been attempts to sabotage his cargo by some of the more ruthless merchants. Darren sighed as he read the message. He had been fooling himself, the moment the Crimson had pulled him over for being in sector thirteen during a lock down his life as an independent merchant was over. Even if he went his own way afterwards, it would take years if not decades for people to realize that he had no connections. Darren started reading the message again only to stop and start reading it again. Surely there had to be some mistake! What kind of game was the new Fleet Admiral up to? And why in the world would he need to pack up his things on the Crimson and be ready to move when both Sandra and Jared returned from the Conqueror? And more importantly just where was Stevens having him moved to? He looked up from the workstation to the quarters that had been his home for nearly a month, he wouldn?t miss them but he wondered just where he was being moved. Earth perhaps? Though he couldn?t think of a reason why they would move him there, not when transporting to the surface was so simple and easy. Darren continued reading the message. It went on to explain that he was to start setting up transportation in Australia immediately. Okay, that made sense, he had heard from Jared that the Elite Specialist had not only found a resistance base there but had destroyed it and captured the former Sub-Commander of the Tempest. It was his understanding that this Kim was currently being held on the Tempest. He certainly didn?t envy her. The military was anything but kind when it came to getting information from traitors. Still with the base in that area gone, it would be easier to make the final decisions as far as setting things up without a more pronounced resistance presence since the US was already having issues with them disrupting and destroying facilities as they were being built. Which even to a non-military person such as himself meant there had to be a base some where in the US. Still that was not his concern, well other than to recommend security measures for the transportation facilities. So he was to start on Australia, one of the three areas where they would not be transporting the humans off of Earth. If nothing else it would at least mean his chances of running into Jason?s sister Sara again would be nil. Which could only be a good thing as he was still regretting his decision to warn her to leave before Jared arrived the last time they met. He turned off the workstation once he was done with the message and began to gather his things. It didn?t take long since he didn?t have very much with him. And then because it had been a long day he started getting ready for bed. He certainly wasn?t going to stay awake and wait for Jared and Sandra to return, they could be in meetings all night before returning to the Crimson.

From what I've read, I think what makes one a good role player is exploring areas with their character that they wouldn't encounter in real life. Not the setting per se but the emotions and experiences they would have. Because if on some level I am able to actually see them as if they were real, even if the writing isn't the best it's fun to read.
I also think a good role player is someone who is active as well because let's face it, you can't develop your character if you're not there (here). Aside from that, a whole lot of effort on the part of the player, whether te RPer is good or bad, will only equal creativity in the long run.[/size']
I'll second that one. It's hard to even understand a character if you hardly see any posts from them. Still in the end, if someone is putting forth good effort and at least trying to develop their character I find it interesting to read and for the most part in my short time here I've seen plenty of people who are good at role playing. Now on the flip side, I've read some that put far too much into their character, making them so complex that you lose sight of what you are suppose to be connecting to. So I also think a good role player tries to balance things by not having dozens and dozens of aspects that they are trying to develop in just one character. Or rather within a very short time frame as it feels as if they are rushing things instead of being part of a story.

Hmmm?I can?t really vote in the poll either. I do tend to favor Sci-Fi but I also enjoy the other genre?s as well. Probably the only one I don?t care for would be Horror. For the simple reason it?s so overdone and predictable. Authors like Stephen King are no fun since once you?ve read one book; you?ve read them all. And the few times I?ve tried reading horror the old clichéd villain that won?t die or is practically invincible always seems to show up. The other one that is my least favorite is mysteries, I do enjoy watching them but I find them rather dry and dull to actually read. Adventure is the same as well, I like seeing fight scenes more than I enjoy reading them. So in the end I enjoy Sci-Fi the best and then Fantasy and comedy. The others I do enjoy but more in a format of watching than reading. As for what type of RP I like to play, that?s a little harder since I haven?t been here very long. I?ve only been part of two, one I am already done with the Survivor four that is currently running and though it was fun I am not bothered that I am out of the game so to speak because to be honest the Sci-Fi one I?m still in [Silver One] has been more entertaining for me.

Has this 'lost season' ever been out in the US? Because when I was saying they are so radically different, the only version I have ever seen is the one by 4Kids. Which makes it look like they skipped the first part of the entire series altogether. Admittedly I have watched so little anime and only within the last year so if the 'lost season' was ever aired here I did not see it. If my assessment of them being so different is off it is only out of my own ignorance as to what is actually out in regards to this series. I only know that what I have read in the manga is quite different from the version by 4Kids. ;)

Others have already mentioned it but your best bet is looking around. Also, if you are still living with your parents, if they are willing to do so, being on their insurance would lower your rates quite a bit. Something I did when I was still living at home. It cut my insurance by nearly 70% since they take the fact that you are a teenager and a guy as well to charge outrageous prices. Other than that, the only other option would be to look at your coverage and cut out as much as possible. If you have an older car with little to no value, then simple liability coverage may be all that you need. If you have good insurance, then higher medical coverage isn't needed either since other insurance will pick up the bill after the car insurance is used up in an accident. Hopefully one of those will make it possible for you to get that rate dropped since when I lived with my parents I was only paying about $300 for six months of coverage and on my own about $700 for every six months, though now that I'm no longer a teenager that too dropped the rates and I pay even less.
I do however like the original Yu-Gi-Oh that is known as Season Zero or the lost season. It's a bit more violent and I guess darker but thats what I like about it.
Now that I would like to see as I would imagine it follows the manga instead of being so butchered like the show here is. I haven't watched very much of it because it was so obviously edited into a kiddy show instead of the psychological dark ride that the manga has been so far. I've run out of volumes to read at the moment since the online stuff I found is not translated and I cannot read Japanese. So as soon as I get the chance I will definitely be reading more of this series. I can tell you this much, there just isn't any comparison on some levels, the TV version may as well be a different series altogether, it is that different. At least out what I have seen and read so far, so it will be well worth your time to pick it up and read it.

If you know so much about me then you know perfectly well what Jared did to my brother? What the hell? Just what is she talking about? Darren wondered. And when she still refused to leave he wanted to scream in frustration. Was the translator not working properly or was she just too stubborn to back down? He had already told her he couldn?t leave. Jared was due to transport down in just five minutes and if she didn?t leave soon? Why do I even care what happens to her? But then a moment later he realized that it wasn?t that he cared, it was who would get her that mattered. If it had just been the military he would hand her over without a second thought. But to hand someone over to Jared, just the thought was enough to make him sick. He took a deep breath before responding; if Jared finds out I warned her?He pushed the thought aside. ?You just don?t listen do you? I already said I cannot leave.? At those words Darren saw a stubborn look flash in her eyes confirming his thought that she was merely being stubborn. She would probably clobber him but he approached her anyway. ?Jared told me what happened the last time you and I met, I know that he beat you senseless and that one of your friends arrived in time to save you from being captured by him.? He ignored her startled look and continued to approach her until they were less than a foot apart. ?He?s coming here and if you don?t leave in the next five minutes he will find you here.? Darren looked straight into her eyes, trying to get her to believe him. Hoping that she would. And from the hint of fear he saw he hoped that she finally did. When she didn?t answer he turned away. ?Fine, be that way. I don?t give a damn if the military gets you, and if you?re too stupid to leave then there?s nothing I can do.? He walked back to the desk and sat down, the clock indicating that only three minutes remained. He could see that she was struggling with what to do and given a choice he would have left, but he meant it when he told her he could not. Then finally after a parting shot along the lines of why would you care what happens to me, she turned and left without saying another word. Darren breathed a sigh of relief; one that was short lived when only minutes later Jared showed up along with a security squad for setting up a more permanent office. Without a word they left to set up a patrol of the area leaving Jared and him alone. Darren couldn?t help it, he flushed uncomfortably at what he had done, if Jared ever found out that he had warned her, he would not be forgiving. And now that he was facing him, part of him regretted it. Jared raised an eyebrow questioningly, ?You seem a bit nervous Darren, have you had more problems with humans again?? Darren flushed even more, how was he supposed to respond to that? ?You said it yourself Sub-Commander, I need to work on controlling my responses when I?m around you.? He looked away, disconcerted by Jared?s piercing gaze. ?You know damn well I hate working with you.? Jared just laughed. ?It?s about time you quit pretending to be polite to my face.? Darren turned back startled over what he had just said. The last thing he had ever expected was Jared to be amused by what he had just said. ?Don?t look so surprised Darren, even when it is not flattering, I have always preferred honesty from those I work with.? Jared chuckled some more. ?Now since I know how much you adore working with me lets get started.? Darren picked up his handheld computer and opened up the file he had been working on as Jared came over, he ignored how having Jared that close made his skin crawl and started explaining the things he needed to do, including the part about finding a human with the necessary skills to understand the paperwork they used. And when he looked out the window briefly, he was pleased to see what he thought might be the woman a good distance away heading down the street. Jared did not know that she had changed her appearance, and he was not about to enlighten him.

The OtakuBoards Nifty Fifty of 2006 (Final)
Rachmaninoff replied to Shy's topic in General Discussion
This is quite the event I must say, not only is the presentation amazing, but I'm positively floored that I was even nonimated let alone actually chosen.
Rachmaninoff "The very name Rachmaninoff is nifty and the person behind the name is as well. For someone who has yet to even be a member for a month, their posts are insightful, witty and downright fun to read. Making them one of the niftiest new people I?ve met since I joined." - Aaryanna_Mom
Thank you very much especially to who ever made the lovely banner for this, I love the choice of font for my user name. And even more important, congratulations to all the other wonderful nifty winners. ;) -
You were only hurt because you were working for the military?it?s your own fault for being in the way... Darren didn?t even hear the rest. Stung by her words he went from being afraid to being furious. Everything that had happened in the past few weeks, running though his mind, having his clearance hacked, being humiliated by Jared, being forced to work for the Military or face execution. He stepped forward a few steps and practically yelled at her. ?My fault? You?re saying this is my fault?? He said incredulously. He didn?t even register her surprised look but continued angrily, ?If you didn?t want me working for the military you shouldn?t have hacked my clearance in the first place! You know that traveling in a restricted sector is a crime punishable by death. By hacking the systems and giving me clearance for a sector I shouldn?t have it for you nearly killed me and my crew!? She started to say something but he cut her off, still furious over what had happened. ?And not only that! Now I have no choice but to work with Jared! And don?t you dare play stupid with me, if I wasn?t an expert at handling cargo and shipping, I would have become Jared?s newest play toy before I was executed. So don?t give me this garbage about it being my fault!? He stood there, now trembling with rage, his fists tightly clenched in anger as they stood facing one another. He took a couple of deep breaths to calm himself before continuing coldly. ?If anyone needs to leave, it?s you. I can?t. Thanks to you and your resistance friends I have no choice but to work for the military.? He finished and folded his arms across his chest, glaring at her. No longer caring if she attacked him or not. He couldn?t stop her and Darren knew he wasn?t fast enough to get away either. And unfortunately his handheld computer was on the desk so he couldn?t signal for help either. He could see that Jared was due to show up in just fifteen minutes, based on the clock on the wall and part of him wished she would just get lost. Even if he didn?t like her, he would never hand anyone over to Jared. Resistance member or not, no self-respecting merchant would. When she didn?t say anything immediately he couldn?t help himself he spoke again. Sighing out loud before he did so. ?You need to leave, and you need to leave now. I can?t.? He felt himself flush a bit and ignored it. Damn it! He thought to himself as she just stared at him for several minutes. Why won?t she leave?

Not much to say other than it was fun while it lasted and to wish my former team the best of luck in the upcoming challenge.

Now that that construction was definitely in full swing, it was time for Darren to set up his office. It hadn?t taken long to decide where. The abandoned clinic that Crystal had used briefly was five stories tall and had a huge office with a side that was floor to ceiling windows that faced not only the transportation facility but gave a good view of the city as well. And technically the agents who had been on Earth already owned it, not that it mattered anymore, but it did mean that it was still empty. Darren had already transported down with the necessary equipment to set things up. And due to it being isolated, for once he was allowed to be alone with out troops tagging along. He couldn?t run anywhere even if he had wanted to. Not only would Mike pay the price, but he seriously doubted the resistance would treat him kindly. And he wanted nothing to do with them anyway. As soon as Darren walked through the transportation door to the building, he immediately went up the stairs to the office in question. It was as he remembered, overlooking the city. He looked at the small handheld computer that he had with him. He had a few hours before Jared would be showing up to check on him, giving him plenty of time to get things started. He walked into the spacious room over to the desk and turned it so that when sitting he would be facing the windows. Darren didn?t have much that would actually stay here on Earth but the few things that would he set down on the desk. He was not an expert, but setting up a small security system didn?t take very long. It wasn?t much but it would warn him if someone entered the building, now all he had to do was line it up with his handheld computer. But first he went into the small storage room just off the main office to check out what was inside. The agents who had bought the place and set it up had been detailed in their mission. There were a variety of office items that the humans often used. He didn?t think he would need any of it but he grabbed a couple of tablets and their versions of pencils and pens. He thought about more and changed his mind. Darren didn?t even know what most of it was for. Versilan technology was all digital. Perhaps I should see about getting a human who does understand all this junk. He thought. It is going to take time to phase out how they communicate and I?ll need to deal with all of this. He sighed to himself as he walked back out into the main room, so lost in thought that it took a moment for it to even register that someone was actually in the office looking out the window towards the city. He assumed it was an Earthling with her short reddish brown hair and Earth styled clothing. He sighed inwardly. ?Miss, this building is closed?? He stopped in mid sentence when she turned towards him a startled look on her face indicating that she had not realized that he was even there. It was a toss-up as to who was most surprised, him or her. Darren froze in panic, his heart pounding painfully. She may have cut her hair and changed the color but he would never forget those eyes. They just stood there staring at each other the silence painful and awkward. Until the clatter of the supplies being dropped by Darren caused both of them to jump. A feeling of dread came over Darren as he realized that she was between him and the exit out of the room. Why? He thought in panic. Why is she here? He caught himself stepping back a few paces before stopping himself. He highly doubted the door to the storage room was strong enough to keep her out even if he could get there before she clobbered him. Finally it was too much and he snapped at her in anger and fear. ?If you?ve come back to finish the job, just get it over with already,? he said bitterly. ?I still have nothing to say to you.? He was surprised when all she did was raise an eyebrow at his statement. Hell, he thought. Why are all the psychos beautiful? First Jared and now her, both of them unmistakably good looking and both equally as nuts. He had not forgotten how she had deliberately hurt him the last time they had met in the Dallas airport. When she still said nothing he snapped again, ?I meant what I said, I will not help you.? He stood there not knowing what to do, trembling from the rush of adrenaline coursing through his body. Too afraid to even try and escape. Sometimes it seems like all you see these days on the news is yet another pointless incident of violence. In this case a shooting in one of the malls in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah where I live. It?s still all over the news as they are finishing clearing out the mall searching for people who are hiding and don?t know that the shooter is dead along with five other people and at least three critically injured. For more details: Shooting It started around 6:45pm when the mall was loaded with shoppers, people eating out and all sorts of activities as there are movie theaters there as well, something I am well acquainted with since my friends and I often go there on the weekends for dinner and to see a movie. Hell I was just there last Friday no less. And most importantly the whole reason for this thread, who else has had something happen like this, close to where they live? And what do you think about the trend of this type of walk in random shooting type of violence? Me I don?t know what to think as it just disgusts me as I can?t even fathom a reason as to why someone would kill others especially when they probably didn?t know a single one of the people they shot.
To Rachmaninoff: That is not the case at all. I didn?t say that, I wouldn?t. Sure I?d think it, but I wouldn?t say it to someone?s face. The General Public: That would be a general conversation. None of this has happened recently. Just events over time have caused me to question the way I reason. I apologize for not being clear at the beginning of my post.
I'm glad you cleared that up, because Crystia was not the only one guilty of thinking you were being rude. She was more vocal about it but I was thinking the very same thing. And for that I'm sorry, I have seen many people say thoughtless things along the lines of I don't care that so and so died or you need to quit being such a baby and move on. So my first thought was that you had done that without bothering to ask. My mistake. I too agree that expecting others to care about someone you don't even know has died is unrealistic. And I think you shouldn't. When you care that someone dies, it's because they had a personal connection to you one that is different from a stranger. Yes you can feel sad that someone you don't know died, but I don't think it's the same at all. And far from being heartless, rather a case of you never had the chance to get to know them to form those attachments that would make you care.

Am I allowed to comment on this round? If not someone just shoot me okay? Because I just realized something?
As for the others, The Mercenaries have been significantly wounded with the loss of arguably their strongest members in Gavin and their captain Crystia. With only 3 left, they are gonna be swinging for the fences to get on track.

EDIT:[/B'] Also even though the mercenaries are down to three members, it would be a mistake to underestimate them. Gavin and indifference may have been their oldest members, but I would argue that Aaryanna is equally if not stronger regardless of her age and Darren is showing quite a bit of determination as well.
I think I really did underestimate them. And seeing that they took first place I just want to say congratulations on a job well done. ;) Especially the ending of your dark thriller, I was expecting the usual killer that won't die ending so I rather liked that, even if it was on the gory side. o_O

There was one good thing about working down on Earth, so far the past couple of days Darren had hardly seen Jared at all. Though now that Denver was occupied and the construction of the new shipping facility, ironically in the same place the one they had destroyed had been, was coming along nicely. The only thing Darren needed was a more permanent location for an office. One that would give him a good view of the city and yet would have the privacy for him to simply transport down out of view instead of out in the open. So far the incidents had been far and few, but there were plenty of humans angry enough to attempt to kill him since he still had the treatment that made his eyes look blue instead of silver and he had already been mistaken as a human twice. The fact that they thought he was a human who had turned traitor was rather ironic. Nothing had happened since unlike the woman he ran into at the Dallas airport, they were not modified and had lacked the strength and training to actually hurt him. And even then within moments the troops assigned to protect him had merely stunned them and sent them away to one of the transport ships. For the most part, the population in the US was not being moved off planet, unless they were foolish enough to cause problems. The US, according to the information Jared had given him was one of three areas? that the population would not be moved off Earth. And even if they were, the sheer number of them would result in it taking time. No, they were too busy removing people from the countries where no one would be left. It was well organized as every day transport ships arrived to replace those that had already left. Not much more in the way of troops would be brought though since emptying out areas and cities meant there was no need to leave anyone to monitor the place. The empire did not have limitless resources and in about a week there would be no more transport ships until the first ones unloaded the humans to their new location and then returned to make the next trip. But even then once things got rolling that would only result in have a day here or there when at least one ship did not come. Darren looked up from his handheld computer when one of the construction crew came over to where he was standing at the previous Denver Transportation facility. He closed it and waited for him to speak, he could worry about where to set up his office later.
Poor Jared is just itching to cause some problems. And right now the only one in range is Darren, so beware Rachmaninoff. ;)
kidding [/spoiler']
:animecry: You're so mean!
Kidding! =P
Still I loved that background you did on Jared. Even if it was creepy as hell. o_O Though I loved the part where he killed Commander Alan. What a nice government to sit back and do nothing about someone like that in power. But then if they did, Jared wouldn't be around either. :p
-
Your friends are correct you are heartless. Not because you don?t care, how could you? And as you said it?s unrealistic to care for people you don?t know who died. But to coldly tell your friend, ?I don?t care that they are dead.? Only shows that you don?t care that they are hurt by their friend?s death. It?s not necessary to tell them you don?t care about the person who died because they already know that. They are looking for you to comfort them, not be sad that the person is dead. I?m amazed that you even feel that it?s necessary to point out that you don?t care. Or why you feel you have to. Unless you really don?t care about your friend being hurt either.
No you dont get it. I diddn't go to curch and on top of that I diddn't know about any and frist you would have to know about a charity to go to it. And even if I did how was i going to get there drive in the car we diddn't have or should I use money to ride the bus but isnt that the money for dinner so we can eat.
Ummm? Yeah, Aaryanna_Mom already addressed this clearly, but all you do is keep coming back with more excuses, and if bus fare is such an issue, why the hell are you paying for the Internet when that money could be used to pay for the bus fare so you or the person can actually go and get some food from charities that will give it to you? And even if somehow you have Internet that you don't have to pay for, why aren't you using it to find the information about charities since like Aaryanna_Mom pointed out, lots of charities have websites. In the end, finding help takes effort. And in the beginning of the thread you said charities wouldn't help, but if you don't know about them it stands to reason that you can't have asked them, so it's a contradiction to say they won't help if you haven't even asked. Saying you don?t know about the charities doesn?t cut it either as it?s easy to find out about them. So in then end all I?m seeing is a justification to steal instead of someone trying to find real solutions.

RPG OtakuBoards Survivor 4: The Laugh Out Louds [E]
Rachmaninoff replied to Sandy's topic in Theater
Who holds your team back? Who doesn?t pull his or her weight? Who do you think enabled the loss of this challenge? It?s time to vote who[/i'].
* raises hand* Me. I?ll be placing my vote for the simple reason I can?t vote for myself. But I was completely lost in this challenge and other than proofreading and helping define my character?s name I wasn?t able to add much of anything to this challenge. I was glad we had a more interactive challenge this time around, but I failed to figure out how to actually help. I?m not very good at writing things of this nature. Hell if SunfallE wasn?t giving me clear objectives in the Silver One rpg I'm in, I?d be just as lost there as I was here when it came to ideas and writing. So even though I was able to do my part last time, this time I was not, sorry team. And since I think I helped contribute to our loss and that I?ll be voted out this round, best of luck and no hard feelings on my part. Since I feel bad I didn?t do more. :animesigh -
And one that Rachmaninoff drags me to when it occurs is the Gina bachauer piano competition, where pianists from around the world come to compete. I?m not really into classical music, but good lord those people can play. Last year?s competition was really good.
Just think, this year I?ll drag you to the Amateur Competition of the Gina Bachauer piano competition. :p As for other types of events, it?s been a long time but I remember going when I was younger to a Star Trek one down in Las Vegas. I was on a trip with my parents and when they realized what it was they stopped and took all of us in for a gander. It was kind of cool seeing all the adults dressing up as characters from the series and such. They never seem to have those types of conventions around here, though I understand that one of the universities here in the past few years has started hosting the only anime one in Utah. And since it?s fairly close to where I live, I will imagine that Crystia will drag me to it to get revenge for all the classical stuff I drag her too. lol

But any i would still like to ask my fellow members of the OB how many fights have you been in and how many have you seen. thats about it for me i'm sorry if i spelled anything wrong.
I can remember seeing a few fights during grade school and High School, but I myself have never been in a fight. And with my chosen profession I have absolutely no intention of using my hands to hit anyone or anything.
Diddn't i say that he couldn't get any help weather its coming from the goverment or charity .
Or so he tells you. I've yet to run into a charity that outright refuses someone who needs food, unless they have nothing left in their food banks to give. :animesigh
Really, bringing up charities and organizations is sort of a cop-out to me.
And not mentioning them is a cop-out as well. They do exist and they do their best to help provide for people who don't have any food for themselves or their families.
Using the example of charities wouldn't be a cop-out in most cases, but in the situation where many people would be stealing for survival, I don't think it's applicable.
I understand what you are saying, the problem and mind you this is only from a few people I know, some people are so embarrased that they can't provide for their family they would rather steal than ask for help. And for some people their religion provides charity. The LDS church has food storehouses that any member can go to their leader, present the problem and he'll give them a voucher to go there and get food, enough to feed their family anywhere from say a week to several months depending on the need. But again, I've run into people who refuse to go even though their kids are starving.
I have to ask a question for those who disagree iwth me on this subject. Have any of you ever been in a situation were you have to commit a crime. Nothing as bad as murder but have you ever had to steal anything or mugg some one or even commit a robbery just to make even for your famliy. I have even though its somthing I'm not proud of but i dont live that way any more yes :D. I'm not saying you should try it and I'm not asking for sympathy but instead of being in the victums shoes try seeing from the attackers ppoint of view, if it was you would you commit a crime to survive.
You just don't get it, lots of people have been in bad situations and never resorted to stealing to make ends meet. Or mugging someone else to take their money to buy food. The only way I would even consider such an act is after I went to every charity organization I could find and got turned down. And even then, I would have trouble thinking it was okay to hurt others just to feed myself when I wouldn't be able to determine if stealing from them wouldn't put them in the same situation.

Perhaps it would be easier if Sandy told us when according to his time the contest is going to be finished. This site here: Time Zone Converter Lets you convert the time in either direction to see when that would be for you. A simple google search was all it took for me to determine that Finland [Sandy's time if I rember where he is correctly] is GMT+2 Though if that's wrong I'm sure you could correct me on that Sandy. It may seem like a hassle, but something like that would certainly make it easier for everyone to have a more general idea of when their team needs to have things done.

Oh my. That was fun. That was just beautiful. The only thing I noticed was a tiny typo here: [D.W throws an elbow and takes the mobster blocking his back by surprise. He makes a fun for it, shoving people out of his way.] Where you have he makes a fun for it when it needs to be He makes a run for it. Anyway, that whole thing was awesome.
