The fact that you know I used those very words makes me nervous...(I had borrowed the DVD from my best friend a couple months ago.) What, do you have cameras in my high school?!:animedepr
You both belong to Gavin. Of course he has cameras everywhere you go. No move you make is unknown. You are forever watched. :p And while I'm here. It's his birthday today (Gavin that is) I hope both of you prepared a suitable gift for your Lord and Master, least he have you both tortured to death for his birthday celebration... entertainment. *shot* All joking aside. Hope you had a good birthday, Gavin.

That's pretty awesome. Even if it does scream... Let's give the kids nightmares for life! ... By giving them this action figure from the show. lol

I was thinking the same thing Gavin. I get sick all the time. The only good thing about it is they tend to be mild infections that clear out on their own in about 24 hours. So I rarely need to go and see a doctor.

And I still find Chitty Chitty Bang Bang amusing. Not sure why since it's rather cheesy.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the title was... someone literally barfing a thread out in The Lounge. o_O ANYWAY... Probably the worse for me was when I was in a car accident a while ago. My right leg was broken and required surgery for some pins to hold the bones in place while they healed. Before they got me to the hospital the pain was making me so nauseated that I lost it and puked in the ambulance. All over myself and one of the guys helping me. I kept trying to apologize but he kept telling me to not worry about it. I've been sick enough to barf a few times since then, but none of them were as awful as that. Or rather I didn't get myself or anyone else when I threw up.

EDIT: I'm purchasing an oversized black cat plushie now.
Gonna name it Allamorph? *shot* Speaking of plushies... this reminds me of a certain one of a white cat that someone here has. Just as I'm pretty sure I recall her referring to it as Morphy once.
My dreams are always a bizarre mash-up of random stuff floating around in my head. Last dream I remember having included a fancy hot dog joint, a couple of TV chefs (I watch a lot of Food Network) and a UFO invasion... :animestun
So you dreamed of UFO's... That reminds me of the time I dreamed of them myself. It's been a while though so the only thing I remember is everyone trying to hide since they'd snatch anyone who got too close.

Oi! Leave my smilies alone!:p Yeah, I think I kept those PMs, actually! You went from one of those scary Halloween cats to a squishy kitty with a computer and an astounding knowledge of the English language. *squees at the mental image*
And now I just imagined Allamorph as some oversized black cat plushie that you hug when you're feeling blue. I don't know if I should laugh or cringe over that mental image. o_O

And this is one of those brain teasers that didn't come out wrong when I added it up. I can see the idea behind getting it wrong but at the same time it's also easy to see that it's not going to end up being 5,000.

Well when it comes to OB, I've gone to make a post in the backstage for an rp only to realize that I responded to the wrong thread. So then I had to quickly go in and get the information before deleting it and then reposting it into the correct thread. I remember feeling pretty dumb that I posted in someone else's rp.

So this makes post # 3,000 for me. I spend to much time at this site. :animestun

I will do what I do every year. Get a little something for the people I care about. Even when I've been single I've always gotten some flowers for my mother.

(I don't believe people on the radio when they say that they've never won anything!)
Why? Considering how many people there are out there I'd say it is more likely to have not won anything. Anyway if you're talking about more official contests then no I haven't won anything. If you get into school then yes I've gotten stuff for different things. Same as you, though not for stuff like track since I never did that kind of thing.

For some reason OB is horribly slow today. I keep getting timed out messages.

Girl arrested for doodling on her desk
Rachmaninoff replied to Sangome's topic in General Discussion
Things like this make you wonder about just how paranoid we've become. I don't condone her actions but I do agree with others that arresting her for it was completely unnecessary. -
I didn't watch the game but congrats to the winners.

Gaming Which was the first game you have ever played?
Rachmaninoff replied to jimmyray's topic in Noosphere
I would imagine the first game I ever played was some form of peek a boo or other silly game that my parents would have done. The first game I remember playing clearly was hide and seek with my brothers. Then other stuff like cops and robbers, board games, etc. -
Everyone I know refers to it as soda. Though I don't really care which one is used. I'm not a huge soda drinker but when I do have it I like either Coke or Dr. Pepper. I also like to have Sprite from time to time.

The biggest way to kill off special interests in politics in America, in my view, is to fundamentally reform the lobbyist system. The access that lobbying firms have in the U.S. Congress is nothing short of criminal, in my opinion.
That's an opinion we both share.
Whereas public advertising (whoever is producing it), isn't quite as sinister. I don't see a problem with trade unions or corporations producing political advertising if they choose - if nothing else, I suspect that this could turn off enough people that these entities could damage themselves anyway.
I certainly hope it turns people off. I hadn't considered that people might be turned off by it. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out if that's the case or not. -
You'd think that image was a gif instead of jpg with the way it seems to actually move, Gavin. Also, since you're tormenting chibi-master, shouldn't it read "get out of my head Gavin" ? :p

Man, do we ever over-think our own site. Haha.
That's what I was just thinking.
I don't really care either way, but there does seem to be some backlash to the way the thing has swallowed the Lounge. Shrug.
Backlash? Where? It's not like we don't have other threads getting posted. It's not like said threads aren't getting responses. I agree with Indi. I too have noticed that members who rarely posted can and do post in the padded room since it's open to simple random thoughts. I've always been pleased with it since it got those members to be more active. As for an actual complaint/concern... If you're thinking of Sara's signature, I thought that was meant to be a clever way to promote additional activity around the site. Instead of a real complaint against the thread. But only Sara would know the answer to that.

Hey there jackprw1, Since this is about games I'm going to move this over to our section for that. As for the topic, I don't have a lot of consoles since I'm not a huge gamer. But I do have the N64, GameCube and a Playstation2. And though I wouldn't consider it a console, I do use my computer for gaming from time to time.

Or if you live in an apartment complex it would be 'the other side of the wall'. Either way, this thread is for those tales about your neighbors, the good, the ugly and the bad. I got to thinking about this on account of a relatively new neighbor that my parents have. They moved into the house to the side of theirs a few years ago. At first they seemed just fine, even if they did keep to themselves and pretty much ignored everyone else. It wasn't until it was almost spring that they first got a taste of what they were like. Anything that stuck through the fence or was over a bit, usually shrubs or tree branches, were cut and then tossed back over the fence into my parents yard. Now I can understand if they feel like those few branches hanging over are our responsiblity, but they never once asked my parents if they could have my younger brothers trim those for them. My parents take good care of their yard and usually get to that kind of thing as soon as the weather becomes more reasonable, this happened in the first part of February when the temperatures were still on the cold side. To give you an idea, my parents usually get started on that stuff in late March. The next year, it happened even sooner, in January. Which made no sense since most of that got done when they did the fall clean up to prepare for winter. The few branches that really stuck over very far were gone. Confused by it, my father tried talking to the neighbor only for the guy to lecture him about being lazy and not taking care of his yard. o_O Something that isn't true at all. He told him that if he wants it gone sooner, to just tell him and he'll take care of it. They thought that solved the issue, it did not. Yesterday my parents came home to find that even though they made sure nothing was hanging over or poking through the chain link fence, their neighbor decided to reach over and about butcher a fair number of the shrubs and trees. The fence in question isn't a tall one, it only comes to about mid-chest. Not only that, they cut deep into the stuff, several feet in, mangling a number of the plants. This was more than just something 'sticking' over, this moved into them defacing my parents property. When they tried to talk to them, the guy screamed at them saying that if they weren't so lazy, he wouldn't have needed to cut the stuff. The whole thing is rather baffling to be honest. Still, since they did more than simply trim what hung over, my dad had no choice but to talk to the police about it since they went way overboard. So, that's my most recent brush with someone on the other side of the fence. What about the rest of you? I'm sure you've all seen some pretty nutty things yourself.

Why am I not surprised by this bit in your signature, chibi-master?
Proud member of the Padded Room Party conspiracy.
Though seeing that you actually create new threads, perhaps you're not as committed to it as you'd like others to think you are. :p
