1. 1. What have your experiences with rudeness on the internet been? Actually, I haven't really had to deal with a lot. However, other than a few places, I don't really do a lot online. That and when someone is clearly being a jackass, I just move on, arguing with a moron is not my idea of fun. 2. Do you get affected by them, generally? Only when it's someone I get along with, because that tends to make you feel put out that someone you would consider a friend would be rude. The rest, not really. Someone I don't really know being rude is hard to take seriously. 3. Have you ever been deliberately rude to someone over the Net, and why? If I have, it was unintentional. I prefer to avoid fighting with people period. It's a waste of energy in my opinion. I'd much rather have fun with my friends, on and off line. 4. Do you think there are times when it's justified? No. Not that it isn't necessary to be firm, but being rude? It just seems pointless to behave the same as the person being a jerk in the first place. 5. Why do you think people feel the need to make unnecessary comments online? Lots of reasons I suppose. Number one that I see or rather one of the main reasons I see people being rude for; is the desire to put others down. Like they have to feel superior for some silly reason. The others are what seems to be an inability to not correct others over trivial matters or the inability to walk away without getting the last word in. Being a jackass online seems to be some sort of character flaw for some people. Being behind that screen instead of facing the person tends to give them a false sense of security, or makes it seem like it's okay to be a jackass.
 2.
I would imagine finding the military there would be very alarming. At least until she realizes that it's Daedalus who is with them.
She's not the only one, I can assure you that Alexander was less than thrilled to see them, that is until he realized it was Daedalus. Seriously though, Alexander needs to stop getting into trouble. XP I say it's Beth's turn, even though Alexander is getting into enough trouble for both him and Alecia. *pokes Beth* :p
 3.
But with his abilities and connections to the Starks, he could very well get that information. The other options are of course Alexander and Jack, or even cooperation with *gasp* Princess Augustine.
Uh, no offense, but son or not. Why would they give him that information? Especially when he's been experimented on by the Almagest's? Sorry, but I find that a bit hard to swallow that he could go to them and they'd say oh, we're holding him here! Blood relation or not, I would imagine that the location of those they kidnapped is a closely guarded secret and that only their most trusted members would know. And Gadget is not a 'trusted' member, he just happens to be related to the Starks who until recently hadn't even had any contact with them at all. XP
 4. Just two things really... First of all that picture of Victor... O_O And this...
The person who had been shredded? if the data was correct, it had happened so fast, their body never hit the ground, until it was in pieces.
And here I thought just the ribbons part was bad enough. >_< Can we say ouch? I do find it funny that Lucia isn't in a real apartment. :p It fits her personality though, that kind of set up that is.
 5. Right now, it's my soundtrack from DNAngel, and it's currently on the full opening song: DNAngel Opening Song One of the only anime shows that I got the cd's for. I definitely enjoy listening to it, it's got a lot of nice stuff on it. EDIT: And before I forget, it's also one of the few that I actually like the voice of the person singing. Usually, they tend to have a tiny bit of a shrillness to it that I don't care for. XP
 6.
It's because it was an unofficial fan work and Square Enix have no idea what the term "flattery" means. All they care about is the money that they could have made off of this had they thought of it. Seriously, why did they have to send a cease and desist letter? They could have, I dunno, hired the people behind it and made twice as much money as any of their crappy Final Fantasy spinoffs will ever make. Way to think, big business.
That's to bad really. A remake of that game would have been fun. >_> Though that just reminds me that I've yet to actually beat it. Whcih considering how close I am is pretty silly. XP
 7.
I don't recall talking about what people are TAUGHT in schools, only what they BELIEVE. So in this case, you are completely wrong that I set you up, or that this has anything to do with - well, anything.
I understand what you are trying to say here, but Allamorph has a point. We believe what we are taught. Whether it's in a classroom or from someone telling us [word of mouth] or from what we read. In the end, It's not that huge of a leap of faith to believe in science, because we have grown up in a world where science has been responsible for so many things that are provable.
 8.
My concern was that I don't know where Gadget could go now. I didn't want Gadget to get caught because he has an important part to play in the end-game, and he couldn't do it if he was lying in prison (although he can turn invisible, he cannot walk through walls, heh). I suppose finding Macey is a good option, but only if D'Ann agrees to it. She seems to have her own plans.
I'd say he has a problem. :p Though hopefully he won't lose the ability to stay invisible, since it seems he still can't completely control his ability. I mean if he suddenly shows up naked somewhere, that's going to attract attention. XP Anyway... I'm sure you'll think of something. I mean you could have him use the tunnels running through out the mountain. There's no reason why Gadget couldn't find a way into them and simply hideout, that would put him out of sight and yet still keep him in the area.
 9.
If all else fails, a bucket of water should do the trick.
On the girl or himself? :p Seriously though, you say it's solved now, but if it comes up again. Try talking to her instead of giving her lip back.
 10.
Anyway, like Rach... I too am looking forward to seeing how things wrap up with Nathan and Adrian. And poor Astera, stuffed into a sack no less. XP
Heh, Adrian getting an earful from Nathan was funny. :p He's such a brat. Anyway... before anyone brings it up... yes I know Alex was a complete idiot by sticking around and talking to Victor. >_> I blame Allamorph since he was the one who said Victor would be smart enough to put him at ease. Enough to get information out of a naive Shinigami like Alex. XP Hurray for Isen showing up to break things up!
 11. Both. Depending on what I'm in the mood for determines which one I consider superior at any given time. That and it depends on the cookie and cracker in question.
 12.
And then? I was lying on my own bed, staring at the ceiling for a long moment before I turned my head to look at the alarm clock to see that it was almost time to get ready for school. There were no restraints on my wrists and ankles, and the room was none other than the one in the apartment where I currently live.
Well at least you woke up! Even if we will never know what happened beyond that. XP Anyway, that was an interesting read. :) Though I'm sure it wasn't fun to experience as a dream. XP
 13. Alex had intended to go back to sleep since Nall was correct in that he still needed some rest, but he had healed enough that he couldn?t seem to settle down and actually rest. After a while he finally gave up, picking up Nall and setting him aside, ignoring how he protested a bit before finally moving to settle down on the sofa where Alex had placed him. He cast a sleepy eye towards Alex and then yawned a bit and stretched when it became apparent that Alex was considering going somewhere. "Let's go Nall," He said, confirming Nall's observation. "It's not like I'm going to be fighting anyone, I can heal just as easily while talking to Nathan as I can sleeping." Nall just stretched even more before he flew over and settled down on Alex's left shoulder, giving off a tiny grunt of displeasure when Alex took off, ghosting through the walls in the direction of Nathan?s apartment. "Why the hurry Alex?" Nall finally asked; feeling disgruntled at having his nap interrupted. Unlike Alex, even if he didn't need to sleep, he liked to. "I don't know - it's just that I hate feeling like this? Like I can't even take care of myself or you for that matter." He frowned a bit as they flew towards Nathan's apartment, his eyes going to the left as Adrian's place was in that direction. He toyed briefly with the idea of checking on Adrian and then changed his mind, it hadn't been that long since he left him there. "I can take care of myself thank you very much." Nall said disdainfully. Alex just ignored the comment, Nall had always been slightly snobbish in the sense that he was better equipped to take care of himself than Alex was. It was true, but it didn't mean that Alex had to like it. Besides, from the teasing glint in Nall's eyes and the flippant tone in his voice, it was clear that he was only ribbing him. Something that just made Alex smile a little. A smile that as he quickly zoomed in on Nathan's apartment and ghosted through the walls into his place faded into concern and a good amount of alarm as the unmistakable aura of a Vampire washed over him. What the hell? Instantly he called forth his scythe as he came to a sudden halt, just outside the main living room, nearly causing Nall to go tumbling off of his shoulder. "What's the matter Alex–" Nall started; he tensed, standing up and then arched his back, digging his claws into Alex's shoulder; spreading his wings. "Vampires." He hissed softly. "What are they doing here? In Nathan's place?" "I... I don't know." Alex was torn, on the one hand, he wanted nothing to do with Vampires, at least not until he had a chance to talk to Nathan about it. But on the other hand... What in the world is a Vampire doing in Nathan's apartment? He stood there racked with indecision until his curiosity got the better of him; he moved forward until he was standing in the doorway leading in to the main living room, giving him a clear view of the rest of Nathan's place. He cast his view from one side of the place to another, coming to a startled halt when a pair of blue eyes met his. Chagrined he started to pull back to leave the place but the stranger broke out in what could only be a charming smile, his body language one of ease as he was currently seated in a plush chair, his left arm resting along the back. He was facing Nathan's odd version of chess that was set up on a small table. Confused by the disarming smile Alex hesitated, and then tensed when the stranger stood up, grasping his scythe tightly, even though the stranger's body language was that of one who was relaxed, as if he belonged in Nathan's apartment. The Vampire reached up and tucked a bit of his blond hair that flowed to his shoulders behind his right ear. "Greetings young one!" He declared grandly. "Have you come to visit with Nassan? Hero of tse Shinigami?" He smiled even more broadly when Alex did not reply, behaving as if there was nothing wrong at all. "Nassan is gone for the moment," He elaborated, making a small noise of displeasure as he waved his right hand dismissively in Alex and Nall's direction. "I suppose we will have to finiss our game later, since Nassan has left." The vampire sighed dramatically. "Such a terrible host! Completely abandoning a guest in tse middle of a tsimple game! "I know not what to tsay!" He favored Alex with another charming smile as he leaned back into the chair behind him, making himself comfortable. ?Please, do come in! Persaps Nassan will return shortly. It tis not like him to abandon a guest so rudely.? Alex was speechless, uncertain what to think of the odd Vampire making himself comfortable in Nathan?s apartment. A part of him was so put off guard by his behavior that he didn?t know how to react. Since when were Vampires social or well behaved? He didn?t have much experience with Vampires but the Count had been anything but polite and courteous. And more importantly, how did he know Nathan? His demeanor gave the impression that the two of them were friends - since when was Nathan friends with Vampires? ?Goodness!? The vampire suddenly declared, slapping his forehead with his right hand. ?Where are my manners?? He bowed grandly in Alex?s direction with one arm in front of him, folded at the waist and the other tucked behind. He smiled as he straightened back up. ?I am Victor L?Envers; tell me, young tsir, who do I have tse honor of addretssing?? ?Uh?? Alex stammered, confused as to what the hell was going on, relaxing in spite of himself as it was clear that other than the one in Nathan?s apartment there were no other Vampires around. Just as it was apparent that there was no hostility in Victor?s stance. ?Alex.? He finally answered. ?I am most pleased to meet one of Nassan?s friends, tsir Alex,? Victor said grandly as he sat back down, making himself comfortable. ?Now please, you tsimply must allow me to greet you on Nassan?s behalf, it is tse least I can do for an old friend.? He indicated the chair across from where he was sitting. ?Sit down! Make yourself comfortable - you won?t need tsat.? He indicated Alex?s scythe which he was still grasping firmly, held in front of him at a defensive angle. ?It tis certainly interesting - no? Why, never have I seen such sa beautiful design. Tis unusual for part of it to not be attacsed - yes?? Oddly self conscious over the direction of the conversation, Alex let go, sending his scythe back to it?s resting place as he took a few cautious steps into the main room. ?I suppose,? He finally agreed. ?Though I wouldn?t know if that?s unusual or not.? Alex had never seen one like it before either. When he had become a Shinigami in the first place, he had been instructed on how to summon a scythe. The form was ultimately based on his own spiritual energy and personality, though he did not understand why the three spikes arched out from behind and stayed put without seeming to be connected? They just did. He could imagine how it would seem odd to a Vampire though, after all, by the laws that governed their world, it?s very design should have fallen apart. The thin staff hardly adequate to support the massive blades and the unattached spikes should not have stayed put. But it was not of the human world and it worked because in a sense, his own will supported it; the scythe was a part of Alex. Or so his instructor had told him. But still, they had never gotten into why he had those floating points along the back, or how they even worked or if they served a purpose. After a while, Alex had no longer given it any thought. He put it out of mind and glanced at Nall who had been oddly quiet the entire time, but when their eyes met, Nall shrugged in a manner indicating that he too sensed no hostility from Victor. He stretched his wings a bit before pulling them close against his body; finally sitting back down on Alex?s shoulder. Victor?s eyes missed nothing as he watched Nall through slightly narrowed eyes, ?I am pleased to meet you as well young dragon.? A comment that caused Nall to start a bit. ?How?? Nall started to say and stopped himself though it was too late. What kind of Vampire is he? How does he know what I am? Though the moment that thought occurred he realized that obviously he had seen one before. ?How could I not know of tse noble dragons wso have served tse Shinigami so faithfully all these years?? Victor once again motioned for them to take a seat. ?Come now it tis such a great honor to meet one of Nassan?s friends!? ------------------ Alex had not intended to stick around, but Victor seemed to counter his every hesitation with what seemed like idle banter and harmless small talk. It was such a sharp contrast to what little he knew of the history surround the wars between the Vampires and the Shinigami from so long ago. Alex supposed it was because he had never thought about it, but he had not expected Vampires to behave in this fashion. Though upon reflection he realized just how silly that thought was. And Victor was nothing like the Vampires they had run into at the mansion. If not for the unmistakable aura of one who had cheated death, Alex would have found him to be nothing more than a rather polite and well mannered human. A rather charming one at that. It was as if he knew exactly what to say and where to take the conversation to keep things from becoming awkward. And though Alex never did sit down, Victor carried on as if they had known each other for ages instead of having just met. It still had Alex feeling a bit of disquiet, and yet at the same time he didn?t quite know how to break it off without seeming rude. Though why it would matter if he was abrupt or rude with a vampire he didn?t know. He was wondering what to do when the conversation somehow moved to their encounter with the Count. How did we end up talking about this? At that precise moment he felt Isen?s presence right before she ghosted into the apartment. The conversation came to a halt and for just the briefest of seconds Alex got the impression that Victor was annoyed by her appearance, but the feeling happened so quickly he couldn?t be sure if it was true or not. Still it gave him the excuse he needed to pull out of the conversation and turn to give Isen his attention instead. ?Alex,? Isen nodded at him as she came in to land on the counter looking into the main room. She sat down, her tail twitching slightly as she then shot an unreadable look at Victor.
 14. I guess it might be a good idea to explore why you feel it?s inappropriate since it sounds like it?s a habit instead of something he?s doing to deliberately upset you. When we?re annoyed, we usually consider others to be the one who is inconsiderate, especially when we?ve explained that the behavior bothers us. The continual use of the habit, if you will, isn?t so much the problem as is the thought behind it, the idea that they just don?t seem to care. However, when we engage in behaviors that annoy others, we tend to make light of the situation. After all, it?s often just a little thing so the thought is why make a huge fuss? We think, why can?t other people adjust to it? We often don?t see that it?s something the other person really can?t tolerate for whatever reason. My advice, and mind you I?m no expert here, but I would suggest talking to him and explaining that you?ve tried to let it go but it still bothers you greatly. And to make it seem more evenhanded, suggest that he think of something you do that he finds equally as annoying. Suggest that the two of you make a goal of eliminating one annoying habit together. Him working on calling people by their first name and you on whatever he finds annoying. I think if you approach it as a dual effort, it?s likely to go over a lot better than simply demanding that he make a change. Tell him that you want to work on things that annoy you and things that annoy him because you don?t want it to come between the two of you.
 15.
He doesn't seem to have any friends in this game anymore. :/
Awww... we're just poking fun at the situation. Heh. It has nothing to do with him having friends or anything like that, it's the Drama factor! :D Besides who says he doesn't have friends anymore?
 16. Alexander had known this time would come, ever since his superior officer Jonathan Grants had approached him to join the Underdogs. He knew it was only a matter of time until Grants cornered him in order to get an answer. And even now, he still didn't know what he wanted to do. Part of him agreed or rather sympathized with the goals they seemed to have in mind and yet the other part of him just couldn't accept the lengths they were willing to go to. If the servant hadn't heard Fonty's cries after he had been shot and come and got him, they wouldn't have discovered the bomb in time, all of them would have died. And though the Vigilant should not have used lethal force like it did, that too was no reason to join. That was likely a terrible decision made by Gaul Rosier, like any guard member, Alexander knew the rumors about how ruthless he could be. And with the king dead, it was possible that the next ruler would do things differently. And then there was the kidnappings and other things they had done. But there was also the possibility that if he said no, they would have him silenced. Of that he had no doubt, by even mentioning it to him, Grants had put him in the position of having to make a choice. If he didn't join, he'd have to turn them in to keep them from harming him or even Alecia for that matter, to ensure that he hadn't talked to her about it. All of these thoughts were running though his head as he faced Jonathan Grants in the tiny room further back in the Royal Police Guard building. Under the pretense of them going over the details of the photograph of Leonhart. The truth, and Alexander knew it, was that it was even possible he would simply lock him up out of sight if he said no. They were too isolated from the rest of the main offices, something that made him very nervous. "So, what's it going to be Alexander? I've already explained how there are different cells in the Underdogs. You would never be asked to do something you don't agree with, like planting a bomb." Grants watched him carefully from his position of sitting on the other side of the small table in the room. "Our branch is mainly concerned with the underhanded dealings on Gaul Rosier's part, like giving the order to use lethal force to the Vigilant. We don't believe in using bombs or kidnapping others for who knows what." Alexander tried to ignore the pounding in his head from where he had gotten hurt the other day. "I wish you had never spoken to me," He finally said. "I do agree with you that the citizens of New Czenoble need better rights and that an investigation should be started in regards to the Vigilant, but..." "No buts Alexander, you of all people know that those who are wealthy have no interest in giving that up. They don't give a damn about the lower classes." "That's not true." He protested. "Admit it Alexander, people like your wife are the exception." Alexander sighed as he realized what he was going to have to do. I'm going to have to say yes, if I don't, I won't even make it out of the building alive. He didn't like the cold calculating look in Jonathan's eyes. But if he said yes, later on, if someone found out, it was him who would be in trouble, Grants could simply deny anything he said. I have to find out what's going on, so I can really decide what to do. I have to let them think I've joined when I have not. He needed to investigate them and at this point the only way to do so was from the inside, pretending to be one of them. He took a deep breath and then another. "Fine, so long as we are agreed that I will not be expected to do anything to harm someone else, then I'll join." He winced inwardly to hear himself say that, hoping that the whole thing wasn't some trap to get him in trouble. But the wry grin on Grants face told him otherwise. "Excellent. For now, just head home, we'll talk about this later, I might come by this evening." He stood up and extended his hand to shake Alexander's. Reluctantly he took it and then followed him back out into the main offices, something that made Alexander feel a whole lot better. Being isolated had made him feel terribly vulnerable and unprotected. As soon as he was out of the building and heading to pick up Alecia, he was regretting it a bit, even if it was the only way he could truly determine what to do, he didn't like it. But then a thought occurred to him, one that made him smile a little. He knew just what to do to make sure someone would know the truth should he get in trouble or found out. As soon as he got the chance he would take care of it immediately.
 17. Looks like Gadget is going to be in trouble... What with Lady Bavaria contacting Commander Rosier in order to have the guard come to Rosengard. I have just one response to this new and interesting development... *gets out the popcorn for watching the fun*
 18.
ISo now we know somewhat about Adrian/Astera and Lucia/Ruby; maybe time to elaborate on the other pairs' beginnings, neh?
I probably should explore that a bit. XP I just never gave it a thought. Ha! But Alex and Nall... their beginning is probably rather tame in comparison. Nothing like Astera and Adrian. That was hilarious though. Astera is fun! Heh. :catgirl: I'd be curious to know how they ended up like they are now though, since it's clear that they have a much closer relationship, nothing like that post. Anyway... And that Victor? Bah! >_< Talk about bad timing. For Adrian and Astera that is. EDIT: First of all... that bit with Adrian and Astera and Nathan... that's fun stuff, even if Adrian is being freaked out and stressing enough to black out. :p I'm looking forward to seeing how the two of you wrap that up. Anyway, the real reason for this post... Allamorph and I got talking about scythes so I found a picture for Alex's weapon... Don't ask why he chose such an odd looking one or why part of it seems to not even being attached... I don't know why he picked it, or why part of it is just floating there... Silly boy. XP Scythe
 19.
Who are your favorite characters that someone else has created?
Now that both Crystia and Allamorph mention it... I do have to say I like their characters in Shinigami Dance. Watching those two tag team with Nathan and Adrian is really entertaining since both of them are good writers and it shows in how they bring their creations to life. That and Crystia's character Astera is fun.
 20.
The feeling of fear I had been feeling became even more profound as they forced my arms above my head and fastened them down, moving to do the same to my feet as well. This has got to be some sort of sick nightmare, I thought in a panic as the skeletal creatures moved to stand guard by the door leading into the room as Jim?s father came over and stood next to the table I was strapped to. But no matter how hard I tried to shake it? I couldn?t wake up!
Interesting, when I reach a point like this in a dream... usually the shock factor causes me to wake up. I can't ever recall having a dream and having thoughts like that in it or attempting to wake myself up in a dream. If I have, I simply don't remember it. Anyway, I get the feeling that this is going to end, like all dreams do, without an answer as to what the hell is going on. XP
 21.
And after all this you still call yourself his fanboy.:p
You know... I'm wondering that myself. XP Anyway... Another thing, a girl I grew up with, a rather delusional one at that. Since she got on this tangent of how her and I were meant to be when other than to know her from school and such. I never once had an interest in her or dated her. I still run into that twit from time to time and each time I wonder how someone can behave like that. I don't see how having her show up and attempt to insert herself into my life is something I even want to remember. I'm just glad that the fool for now has left me alone and I'd like for it to stay that way.
 22.
Sorry, but I didn't know there were many of you behind solving that riddle. I don't have access to your private messages, remember? I can edit my post so that the riddle is not solved, the pieces are just brought together. Then the characters can take a look at them when they want. I think you'll do a better job at describing how it is solved than me, anyway. ;D I guess I just didn't think it mattered who solved the riddle in-game when I posted, sorry for being inconsiderate. *goes to edit*
Kathy caught me online as well... >_> I just conveniently had other things I had to do at the time. Since I already knew what it meant. XP Personally it makes more sense to me that considering what's been learned, what with the photograph, Gadget telling Bavaria about Leonhart, etc. That at that point, it would make sense that all of them would be discussing it at dinner, at which time Bavaria could mention both the note and the sheet music. At that point they could work on it together in an attempt to see if there is any meaning to the poem and the music. I know if it were me, after all that... I'd be curious as all get out to see if there was any meaning to it. I may have made the clue more simple since it needed to be solvable, but I assure you, musically, that could have been extremely complicated and I can't imagine the Underdogs being that careless. If someone like Bavaria could simply solve it in only a few minutes, it wouldn't be much of a code really. ;)
 23.
It?s a simple enough question. No mater how many new characters you create over the years I bet there are those who have earned a special place in your heart. Who are your favorite characters that you have created? Who are your favorite characters that someone else has created? Would you be willing to revisit those characters sometime in the future? Why or why not? Discuss! -Shy
I didn't do any rpging until I joined OB so I haven't been creating characters for all that long. Out of the few I have made, I would have to say my two in Silver One are my favorites for the simple reason that I've been playing them for so long. Though I learned real quick... don't use your own name for a character... EVER. XP Anyway, other than that I've enjoyed developing both Darren and Kerstin the most. After that would be my character in Almagest, since it's a dual effort being done together with Beth and her character, so it's been a pleasure to collaborate and work together with her, making the characters seem more real than just about anything I've done so far. Now as for someone else's character... right now the one that comes to mind would probably be ones done by Aaryanna and her mother in Almagest. Even if the characters are similar to how they are in real life, it's still just amazing and fun to read since they seem so real. I can safely say that Victoria Ann is one of my favorite characters to read about that others have created. Heh.
 24. A little while ago I started a thread about things you forgot, things that you didn?t intend to forget, but still did anyway. Well today the thread is things you want to forget. XP Because they are either annoying, embarrassing or who knows why. In the end, there is some reason that makes you wish you could forget. Perhaps it?s a bad grade you got on a test, or a speeding ticket. I?m sure there are lots of things we wish could go back and change. I got to thinking about this after that prank by Des on Valentines Day? not that I want to forget, even though that had me banging my head on my desk off and on most of the day, but rather because it?s something I imagine I?ll never forget. XP So though we have memories we?ll probably never forget and some are fun, I imagine there are others we really do want to forget. For example, being an a car accident a few years ago and needing to have surgery on my leg and being bedridden for a while, that would be something for me. It was a royal pain in the rear and there are times I wish that I could forget how much that hurt. XP Though time has done that job well enough, in that the memory is no longer so vivid. Anyway, anything that you want to forget? And if so? why?

Headache or not, so long as the nausea didn?t return he could manage. And he already knew from yesterday?s treatment that the potion he had been given would do the trick, even if it couldn?t get rid of all the pain. Now the only thing he was wondering about was how to approach things at work. He had already sent a full report to Daedalus so turning things over to Jonathan Grants would be harmless. Even if the number of members who were Underdogs in the RPG was a lot higher, there would be no way for him to interfere with an investigation by Daedalus. Grants had no jurisdiction over the military. Alexander pushed the thoughts aside as best he could, he was already leaning towards how he would decide, no matter how much he agreed that better living conditions and wages were a must, he just couldn?t agree with terrorist tactics. Especially the attempt to destroy Rosengard, since even if Leonhart or the other adults in the Almagest family were guilty of taking advantage of others to pursue wealth, there were the servants, the children, and many others, who were completely innocent of any wrongdoing at all. It just wasn?t right. Just like the Vigilant opening fire without using non-lethal methods first wasn?t right. ?You?re awfully quiet today Alex,? Alecia was looking at him with a look of concern on her face. ?Are you sure you?re up to going in?? Alexander nodded. ?I have to, there?s too much to be done.? He smiled at her as they left their bedroom to go and get some breakfast. ?I promise love, that I?ll come home early if it becomes too difficult to work.? Alecia just accepted what he said as she finished straightening her potionist uniform and then left for the kitchen with Alexander right behind her. Neither one of them had heard the sound of Dame Anna letting Fauntleroy in and were equally surprised to find him in the kitchen talking to her. ?Uncle Fonty! What are you doing here? You should be resting, not gallivanting about!? ?I needed to talk to Alexander,? He answered even as he turned to face the two as they entered the kitchen. ?I can?t stay in bed forever, there?s too much to be done.? Alecia just rolled her eyes a bit and complained, ?You sound just like Alexander.? ?I?ll take that as a compliment.? Fauntleroy said as he took a seat at the table. ?I?ve got some breakfast ready for you two if you?d help me get it?? Dame Anna said with a meaningful glance at Alecia who took the hint and followed her into the other part of the kitchen leaving the two alone. ?What can I help you with?? Alexander asked once he had sat down. ?Did you remember anything else about the photographs?? Fonty shook his head. ?No, but there has to be something I can do.? ?There is one thing you can do, to possibly help figure out who is using your camera.? ?What would that be?? ?Keep it with you at all times, no matter what.? Alexander explained. ?If you need to leave it behind, only do so where you can keep an eye on it. Whoever is using it is taking advantage of a time when it is not in your possession.? ?What good will that do?? ?At the moment, nothing. I really don?t know why someone is using the camera. Whoever it is must have a motive, and confirming that Leonhart is alive isn?t something that I would imagine a member of the Underdogs would do.? He paused. ?After all, if it?s known he?s alive, that will just make the search more intensive where before there wasn?t one since it was assumed that he was dead.? Alexander looked up and Alecia and Dame Anna returned with breakfast for everyone on a couple of trays that they set down on the table. He smiled at her as she took a seat next to him. ?Anyway, I suggest you keep a close eye on that camera as well as going over the events of the past week to see if there is something else you might remember. If you do, just send both Daedalus and me a message.? ?Alright.? Fonty replied. ?And take it easy! I don't want to see you at work again because you've overdone it.? Alecia tagged on once it was apparent that Alexander was finished, she turned to face Alexander as she set his breakfast in front of him. ?We?d better hurry or we?ll be late for work.? She told him with a smile.
