When I was little, I somehow got the idea that rosters paralyzed instead of fertilized eggs. Though I'm taking my mom's word for that since I don't remember it at all.

U.S. Entry ban for HIV to be lifted.
Rachmaninoff replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
Oh I know Boo, when I learned about it in the past year... it just made me sigh that we were banning people over something like this. :/ -
If you haven't heard the news, here's a link to the article on it: Obama to lift U.S. entry ban for those with HIV I'm sure that I'm not the only one to think it's about time. I honestly didn't realize we banned people entry based on this until someone brought it up about a year ago. At the time my thoughts were, why? Why were we barring people from the US over something like this? So what do you guys think? Considering that it's not something you can so easily get, I definitely agree with lifting the ban. Or do you have a reason as to why they shouldn't lift it?

Hopefully in time you're mom will get over the shock, chibi-master. Anyway, it's been cold out so I went to make hot chocolate and discovered that I don't have any.

Unfortunately chibi-master, like Kenso said, when it comes to someone who is considered a minor, parents have a right to gain access to all of your medical records. So as annoying as it is, even if you ask the doctor to not tell, they will. Based on what you've said, it sounds like Nerdsy has the best advice for you. Keep as calm as you can and try to avoid fighting with them over it. It sounds like a tremendous shock to them and that's going to require a lot of patience on your part, especially since they may never accept it.

Perfect timing since it dropped down to freezing last night.

Is it because it's not often that Nathan comes across as if he's making himself act goofy? =P Either way it seemed fine to me. I know the feeling though, when a post just doesn't feel quite right. Anyway, I poked Indi about the exercise they are supposed to be doing now, but then she poked back and reminded me that she's posted more often. o_O So looks like I'll be tackling it. So I'll try to get something up this week. EDIT: and it's posted. I hope that works. o_O I figured that they'd miss quite a few and that there would be a lot of them. I can always tweak it if you need me to though.

Target Practice ?What good will looking do if some of them won?t even trigger until we?re close enough?? Adrian grumbled. Alex didn't bother to answer since it didn't sound like Adrian was truly complaining. ?Alex!? Nall called out just as one of the circles materialized to the right. He fired off a ball of spirit energy, hitting it dead center and causing it to collapse. To the left, Adrian and Astera veered off to take care of one that popped up, keyed to his aura. It was much easier than Alex expected as they flew around the city taking care of the random circles, at least at first. With both Nall and Astera finding them much quicker than he could, it didn?t take long to dispatch their targets. But then the timed ones, in addition to the ones that required both of them to hit them, started showing up. ?Goddamn stupid?? Adrian cursed under his breath when one they both had to hit materialized. ?It?s on the other side of the building!? He made for it at top speed with Alex close behind, only for it to collapse just as they cleared the building. ?Damn! Where?s the next one?? Adrian looked about. ?That way Alex!? Nall called out. Alex took off at top speed, only for it to collapse before he could get there. ?Just how many did Nathan set up?? He hovered in midair for a brief moment before he took off again in the direction Nall indicated. Adrian and Astera weren?t that far off as they continued to hunt through the city for the circles. ?Over here!? Astera?s voice rang out just as one for him appeared in the opposite direction. What the..? How are we supposed to get both? On instinct he shot a ball of spiritual fire off at the one in the distance. Without waiting to see if it hit or not he made for where the others were, barely getting there in time to hit and collapse the circle with Adrian. As they continued, Alex winced every time they failed to hit one of the circles. The idea had seemed simple enough, but the timing was terrible. Some of them, to him, seemed impossible since they practically required him to be in two places at the same time. ?Is that all of them?? He asked a while later when it seemed like no more were appearing. Before someone could answer, movement caught the group?s attention as yet another circle vanished off in the distance a bit, they had wandered in the wrong direction and missed it entirely. ?For the love of?? Adrian gripped as they made for the location to hunt for any others they might have missed. ?Did he spend all night setting those damn things up?? Alex shrugged, "Maybe?" Adrian made a scoffing noise. "I just wonder how the hell he expects us to know when we're done." Alex didn't have an answer for that. He just kept hunting instead. They had already covered close to two thirds of the city. By his calculations they had missed close to a third, if not more, of the circles.

...Tense atmosphere much? Geez, calm down. It's a freaking bill. People will read it or people will not. No need to get so defensive and snarky about how some people choose to have information presented to them(this applies to both parties). Although I may not know where I'm coming from... I have no interest in even reading so much as a SUMMARY of a bill. Psh. I'm moving to the U.K. first chance I get in my adult life! I'm tired of all the crappy political problems of the U.S.!
I'd listen to Ace since you can't escape it, and going to the moon is no answer either. Just sit back and watch the show of people rising to the bait. =P After all, god forbid Congress actually put something out for a week or two so the common person can have it long enough to use it to verify what those 'legit' news sources post. You know, to make sure they understand the issue better. But it's more fun to rush it so people don't have time to find the problems and object until it's too late and thus a royal pain in the *** to undo. That governmental mentality just makes me laugh.

^You're probably correct. =P Though I haven't watched it so I wouldn't know. I did watch some stuff on one of those cop shows where they have footage from real events. One of them was some guy in a truck driving like he was drunk and wouldn't get out even when the truck finally stopped. Turns out that not only was he drunk, but other than some boots, he was completely naked.
