My last three CD purchases were more of ones I've been hunting to find a used copy of. The first, even though I already have it, was Rachmaninoff: Complete Works For Piano & Orchestra. The difference? This one is the copy where Abbey Simon was the pianist. Every time I find something where he performed I snatch it up. That guy is amazing. The second, Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major. For the same reason as the first. I like the pianist and in this case it's Daniel Barenboim. I'm always looking for stuff like this. The third. I got the three CD's with the soundtracks and complete vocal's for DNAngel. I'm rather happy with that one since I like the instrumentation as well as the bit of more rock sounding songs on one of the disks.
I'm one of those people who believes in ghosts. Many people would be freaked out by this message, but wouldn't admit it's because they believe in that stuff. Well, to a certain extent, I do. So, on top of that, it's twelve thirty at night and I'm the only one awake in my house. Except my cat. Who is running around like a maniac. But I digress. I've also gotten little sleep as I didn't go to bed till five this morning and still got up at eleven thirty. So I'm tired, too. So now I'm paranoid, when logic in my head is telling me there is no reason to be scared. ((Which, by posting this, I am fixing my 15 people. Haha.)) So I have a question about this kind of chain letter: What kind of sick person enjoys freaking gullable ((hehe, oops.)) and innocent people out by sending them an email that says they'll die in horrible ways if they don't send it? I mean, really?
And why do fruitbats like me have to be so scared of them?

You've really answered your own question you know. What kind of sick person enjoys freaking gullible (your word) people? One who knows that there are those gullible people out there. If no one bothered to pass it on, chain letters wouldn't exist. It's ironic to read and hear how people get angry over chain letters when they get them. I've always found it a bit satisfying to kill them. To hit that delete button. I'm only sorry it doesn't kill every single one that was sent. Take your claim that by posting you are 'fixing' people. That's just it, I read it, I laughed at it, but didn't send it to anyone last night. And yet here I am. No one appeared. lol Because no one ever does. ;) As to why you are scared of them? Beats me, I've never understood it. Silly threatening chain letters, scary movies. The most me and my friends ever get out of them is a good laugh. So do yourself a favor, hit that delete button next time.
And you're making a face about it? You're the one who hit it, man! :D
Well, yeah, but I was thinking this when I made that face last night: *thoughts of the other players* Hey guys don't you think that Rachmaninoff is: Annoying - Argumentative - Disruptive - Got post 500 *evil pause at the last point* Get him! *end of silly guess as to others thoughts* So basically, it hit that I had just jinxed myself since there are still four death cards to be played. Since I'm sure everyone has made their deliberations over which character is who's and such. Though that's silly upon reflection, after all everyone is in this to win. :) Anyway... considering that there's going to be an after party with awards we just might get to 600 like you mentioned BKstyles... Also to be on topic.... So Sandy won't whack us with that mod rod, or indifference for that matter. [trust me, she's mean] Here's the list of the remaining characters: Oromis Mary Delilah Delita Brittany the cat! Etamet - killed by Sandy [Master of getting first blood] -
i wouldn't be all too[/i'] sure of my self there, buddy. I will tell you now, that boy's been a step or 2 ahead of everyone the greater portion of this game :p
DB, the more you step in, the more I'm convinced that Etamet is Darren's character. I know who owns Brittany or rather who use to own her before SunfallE played that card. lol And I'm pretty sure who owns Delita as well and it was not Darren. :p Though if I'm wrong you all can laugh at me later. I'm just saying. I don't buy it. -
I cannot really speak on the matter myself. I can't remembe what my intentions would have been for the card, and it is true that I am not very good when it comes to writing this sort of thing. Thinking on it now, I think it would have been better to restrict it to that person's own characters[/U'], but ether Darren did so or not I cannot speak for.
Makes no difference, since why would Darren revive someone else's character? I could see it if they had all three and were trying to divert attention, but seeing that only two were left when Etamet was revived that was not the case. It's simple logic, you don't win if your characters are dead. I'm convinced that Etamet is Darren's character. :p -
So, umm... Etamet wasn't Darren's character afterall? :/ I honestly thought the line Beth underlined meant that! That the user would have to revive their own character... Oh well, he was somebody's character, at least. XP
Don't believe him Sandy. Darren's trying to make you think that Etamet is someone else's character. Like SunfallE said, the only way that would be true is if DB sucks at English and used the wrong word. lol Their character means just that, you have to revive a character that is yours. I do believe that's what's known as a bluff. One that I'm not buying. lol -

Uh...Yeah... Like that's gonna work. Trying to make people hate characters at this stage when their only interest is to protect their own characters. I'm pretty sure that people already have their target in mind as well as who they won't kill, if and only if, their character is already dead. And only highlighting one part of the clone card description as to it's effect to draw focus away from the whole thing? Nope. Not buying it. :p -
Oh I agree, it is amusing. *laughs* It's making me want to poke both Sandy and Rachmaninoff since in many ways those two are a lot alike. Hehe, though I'm sure they don't think so. ^_~
WTF? o_O
You have no idea. Trust me, it's almost painful how much those two are alike, well aside from the fact that Rach is straight. Anyway, Rach I can simply hunt down and poke for real, but Sandy? I'd need one of those handy voodoo dolls.
Traitor.
And that kill didn't surprise me at all. I feel kind of sorry for Etamet, though.
Same here, even though I figured Etamet would be one of the first ones to go. I was figuring on either him or Delita as being the first to die. Via Sandy of course since he's gotten first blood every single round.
*shifts eyes* Come to think of it....have you ever seen Rach and Sandy...on at the same time!? ....... Wait...yeah, I have...**** nm >.> *sits in the corner drawing on the wall*
Gods, not you too! >_< Anyway.... Just my contribution towards hitting that 500 responses mark for this whacked out underground thread. Also much as I'd like to draw blood I don't have time at the moment. That and I'm not sure how I want to do it yet. I'd like to be creative with my last death in this game. Or at least try to be. -

Swedish Fish and Nachos with Jalapeno pepper slices. Not at the same time mind you. But lately I've found those Swedish Fish tasty. And normally I don't even like Jalapeno peppers so I'm a bit confused as to why they seem to taste good on nachos. I'm sure in a week or two that will change since I've yet to find a food addiction that was permanent. Well other than fresh strawberries with nothing on them. I like those at any time.

Ironically what bothers me about retail really applies to the person and not necessarily the store itself. Being rude, impatient, threatening to get someone fired, etc. In many ways that can be applied both ways. Well with the exception of the firing bit I suppose. So in the end I try to take any complaints to those who actually make the decision instead of some poor sap getting paid next to nothing to man a register or booth. Since usually my complaint is more of objecting to how the cooperation decides to do things. Most of the time Retail stores don't bother me at all. I do have to admit though that it's painful to watch people get angry with the employees. It just makes them look stupid. Besides, I'm sure I'm not the only one to realize that being polite gets you better service just about anywhere. I suppose it's due to that employee being glad to finally deal with someone who isn't a jackass over things beyond their control. Mind you, if that employee really is a jerk, I'll get my things, head out the door and politely inform their manager later and let them decide what to do.

Sandy hasn't drawn first blood yet? You're not sick are you Sandy? Heh, I wonder if the change in owners of certain characters has certain people rethinking their strategy and resulting in this unnatural pause before the killing? *laughs* -
I strongly suggest you pour your frustration down on the opposing team instead of the judge. I can quickly become biased as well if I get poked too much. >:P *feels stings all over his body*
Then I guess you'll just have to be biased and if we lose I'll encourage the team to vote me off. Because it's one thing to make fun of the other team in a rap, but I'm not gonna say so and so on such and such team is lame because... doing so really would be lame, on my part that is. I know that's not what you mean, but in my opinion, poking you is more appropriate since you did give us our challenges that lead to the frustration in the first place. You're the host Sandy! It's your job to deal with the unruly contestants! Or annoying ones if you prefer to think of it that way. :p

*reads A_M's post* Why do I now feel like I'm a whinny little brat? >_< It's almost scary how she does that. Regardless... I'll end the pity party. I was pretty frustrated but it's all said and done.
...OH SHI- lololol When I read the challenge, my heart just dropped out of my chest. You're still really awesome.
Heh, I know exactly what you mean. I felt the same way. lol And thanks, now that I'm done pouting I'm fine. [yes guys do pout] Anyway...I'm wishing our challenge had been reversed... You like rap and though I'm not interested in being a Mod I've at least had jobs where customer service was involved. So your challenge doesn't frighten me like the damn rap did. lol Oh and thanks SunfallE, I agree, I made a point of pointing out each member of the other team. But then I thought that was what you were suppose to do. >_>

Yet another update. I hate to say it, but I wrote up my counter rap but either I accidentally deleted it or saved it in a different spot since I can't find the damn thing. >_< I'm going to keep looking for it, but I guess if I can't find it I'll have to try and re-write it up from memory. I just wanted to let you know Sandy, as well as the rest of you. Right now I'm kind of frustrated, but later today I'll look again and if I still can't find it I'll write it back up so I can get it submitted. :animesigh ------------------------------- Wee! Oh wait! I'm not having fun. I forgot. Um yeah, it's up to you now Anomaly. I'm happy with the outcome for the simple reason that I'm done with that damn challenge. Sure you do, it's called Misc Anime. Technically those cartoons fit into that category. All you have to do when submitting is be sure to tag them as 'looney toons' or what ever the name of the show is.

Time To Fold I really hate to do it since you think that you?re so great But it truly is time that you let wisdom set ya' straight It's like you?re sitting in your car but you lack the key; And your mind and your paper are blank, savvy? White thinks he?s an Ace but you?ll soon find out That in the end there really was no doubt. If he truly were a master, then he would understand That his demise is most certainly at hand. Bkstyles is probably shaking his head 'Cause he knows that White's about as good as dead For it seems to be, that he?s failed to see That this rap is not just about him and me Like a cheap record, stuck in a rut The Aces have failed, to really strut I?ll say it again, even though you know it?s true A Sunflower is what it takes to pull through By now Tiana must realize, how you?re failing to be A truly skilled rapper; one that could try to out do me You?ve wasted your time, picking on the sun Too bad for you though, you had a bad run. I think that now it?s time, for the Rach-man to educate Our wannabe rapper friend, who's also a little ingrate Ezekiel knows your rap ain?t so tough And you really didn't realize; I was going to bring it, rough. So pitiful to watch, you're on a pathetic ego run It must be uber painful to watch lil' White gun. He tries to deny that my powerful words stung, But does he really get it? I mean he is quite young. Like a cheap record, stuck in a rut The Aces have failed, to really strut I?ll say it again even though you know it?s true A Sunflower is what it takes to pull through Aw, poor Shy, it's not that you ain?t nice But when we win this, we'll have won in this round thrice! You should have known that we're like a smoking gun, And no one but the Sunflowers can get this job done. Oh silly White, you're a pretty lame MC, The Aces aren?t so tough, as I'm sure you've come to see You failed your team while trying to be The most clever rapper, by just focusing on me But you seem to forget that there's more to us Than leaves, a stalk, and a knack for collecting dust. You guys won't get it, and it?s sad to see you rant Against the true power, of a beautiful plant Give up on your attempt, since it?s never been more true Sunflowers like us are far superior to you. Kerstin still did not understand it and in all honesty she'd rather die than understand how anyone could be as heartless and cruel as Blaine was. It had worried her terribly when they had taken Daniel away but when they came back, just thinking about what happened still had her in tears. How had someone like Blaine managed to become a representative? How could someone who would not only allow torture but willingly participate in it even be human? Or even worse, allow what had happened to Daniel when they brought him back? There was no need for them to use the disruptor restraints on him until he couldn't move. There was no need for them to laugh at her tears or to make lewd jokes about what would happen when it was her turn to be educated. It was frightening since she knew it was only a matter of time until they did to her what they were threatening. Just the thought of them touching her was making her sick. Was this why people joined the Resistance? To stop this kind of senseless torture and cruelty? Kerstin had heard the rumors, all citizens had. In addition to protesting the treatment of the lesser races, the Resistance also objected to the High Council looking the other way when powerful businessmen and representatives cheated the people or committed all sorts of crimes. But Kerstin had never believed it. All her life she had seen the law take care of criminals, even the treatment of the lesser races had been improved with better living conditions as well as days off and better medical care. In the end, she had thought that those who were members of the Resistance were fanatical, people who were obsessing over the High Council not being perfect, that their expectations were unrealistic. Especially after they had made her brother the shipping expert and he had exposed the three most powerful shipping companies in the entire empire. If the High Council was really as corrupt as the Resistance claimed, they would have never changed the shipping protocols to what her brother suggested. Darren was too honest. To straightforward. If anything Kerstin was positive that his promotion to shipping expert proved that the Resistance was wrong about the High Council. That even if they were far from perfect they weren't as corrupt as those in the Resistance would have you believe. But now she was no longer sure. Kerstin couldn't understand how a kidnapping in the university could have even happened. She was in sector one, the most secure and safest place in the entire Versilan Empire. Or so she had thought. Jared had poked fun at her a bit, calling her naive. At the time she had not taken him seriously. Gods... I should have listened to him and stayed on the Creator. She thought for the hundredth time. Still racked with guilt over what had happened to Daniel. Even if he claimed that Blaine would have come after him eventually. Why does Daniel keep interfering? It baffled her that in spite of so much pain he still kept doing it. Why? Kerstin looked over at Daniel from her position on the sofa. He was still unconscious from what they had done to him. And once Blaine's goons had finished torturing him and tormenting her with threats of what they planned to do with her, she had moved Daniel to the bed once they had left. Even if Daniel was heavier than her, like all Versilan's she had no trouble simply picking him up. It was a pity that she had no training. At that moment Kerstin had wanted more than anything to kill those responsible for hurting Daniel. She reached up and wiped the tears from her face, exhausted from crying. Then Kerstin curled up on the sofa, she didn't think she'd fall asleep but moments later she did.

o_O Good grief. That's an interesting card. I'm beginning to be glad you don't have a death card SunfallE, you're a bit too ruthless when it comes to this game. Lets see if I have this right: Dual death card taking out Claire and Marcus Death card used to take out Delita's soul in Nadia's body PK Card played to clobber Allamorph's character Alucin Death Card used to kill Merik Fate Card set up by Allamorph triggered due to timing of Merik's death o_O That makes five direct kills and two assists for a grand total of seven. Damn if you haven't earned that Ruthless Sunflower title. And that doesn't include the switching and changing others into a beast as well as messing up who owns who. I know if we have a most ruthless player award... you'll get my vote! :p
