All right, my post, as promised is up. So that means we are waiting on you BKstyles. To get that one post in so we can start the slaughter. I'm sure that Sandy is eager to draw first blood as always. :p

Oromis had not expected Mary to fall so completely for what had to be a trap. With a quick call to Etamet to help him they quickly took the rifle from the woman, but not before she got off another shot, hitting Delilah. Etamet moved to restrain her as Delita moved to help Delilah but the woman was impossibly strong, only proving that she couldn't possibly be Mary's real mistress. Especially when with a snarl of rage she tossed Etamet into the nearest wall and stormed out of the room. "[B]Come back here Mary![/B]" She yelled shrilly. "[B]I'm not done with you yet![/B]" Oromis started to follow her but stopped when Delita motioned for him to help her as she tried to stem the blood flowing from the wound to Delilah's shoulder. "[B]You can't stop that woman Oromis, so long as Mary believes she's real the Panopticon will support her existence.[/B]" Delita continued to work on Delilah, now aided by Etamet who seemed to know what to do, tearing strips of cloth from a small throw blanket he had snatched from the sofa. Applying pressure in the right place while he ministered to her shoulder and wrapped it in place. "[B]What the hell is going on Delita?[/B]" Oromis asked as he helped Etamet move the unconscious Delilah to the sofa. Delita stood up, wringing her hands together, clearly distressed. "[B]It has to do with the nature of this part of the Panopticon, on some level your own thoughts, fears and desires affect what happens. Even if Mary knows this isn't her real home, so long as she believes on some level that the woman is real, she is real.[/B]" Delita started pacing back and forth, getting more and more agitated with each moment. "[B]Until we trigger another trap or someone else's thoughts or emotions become strong enough to overpower Mary's we are stuck here. And as you can see from what happened to Delilah, we can all die.[/B]" Delita stopped and faced both of them reaching up in a surprisingly human gesture of frustration as she ran her right hand through her hair. "[B]We have to find Mary and calm her down or one of you needs to knock her out. The longer she hides in fear the stronger that woman will become.[/B]" "[B]What about Delilah? We can't leave her here. If that woman comes back she'll kill her.[/B]" Etamet exclaimed. Delita looked at Delilah and then back to the two. "[B]You two should go and look for Mary and Brittany. I can easily move Delilah, but it probably would be best to avoid moving her if possible. Also, even though I am changing, I am still able to move far more quickly than either one of you even if I am carrying Delilah.[/B]" Having been carried by Delita at one point, Etamet had to agree. He didn't know what she meant about changing, but one thing was certain, Delita was certainly stronger than he was. "[B]Come on Oromis, the sooner we find Mary and Brittany the sooner we can get out of this place.[/B]" Reluctantly Oromis followed Etamet out of the room to look for Mary and Brittany. He didn't like it but it was looking like they didn't have a choice. Though having already died once, he doubted that this hellish place would let any of them leave alive.

[B]Method 28: Actually Be Nice[/B] Far less certain or even obtainable than the other methods since it actually requires lots of ridiculous behind the scenes work. Such as answering the pm's of poor newbies who are lost or confused. As well as avoiding obvious trolling or clobbering of members who really should be clobbered. It also requires at least attempting to respond politely to personal attacks instead of going off the deep end. It's also rarely done since like method three, it can be shockingly boring. Still chances of modship are a possibility as well as eventually being recognized. [B]Drawbacks[/B]: Chance are no one will ever know that you're pretty nice to people. You'll just slip through the cracks and be considered nothing more than an ordinary member. Also, it requires actually having patience. Wow, shockingly short post by Allamorph! Hehe, I kid. Still I can understand. I'd rather save the more well thought out post for when the killing starts. Which means the rest of you are probably glaring at BKstlyles and me right about now. o_O I do have stuff to do today but I'll probably have time later tonight, or at the very least I'll definitely get something up tomorrow. And then once BKstyles gets his post in...the killing will finally begin! *starts plotting who to kill*

Just a heads up everyone. I am alive, just getting over feeling burned out and brain dead from last week. I swear! Even though the performances were fun, it really stressed me out. lol Still I got a good grade and I've had enough time to pretty much sleep a day or two so I'm back in action again and working on my counter rap. So I definitely have not given up or anything like that. :catgirl: Also, I swear, it seems like lately everyone's having a birthday, first Sandy, then Darren and now Aaryanna, which is today by the way so I'll end this post with some spam. [B]1. what subject in school are you best at?[/B] Music. Once I discovered Orchestra and playing an instrument I could have cared less about my other classes. The further I got into 'classical' music, though honestly there's far more than just the classical, though that seems to be the thing, lumping all that older stuff into the same category/title. Anyway, once I got into that, it was obvious to me what I wanted to do. Though science was always fun as well as psychology. Though other than to take the basics I never went any further. It was at least interesting. [B]2. What subject at school are you the least best at?[/B] English, I wouldn't say that I'm the least best at it, but it does bore me. I enjoy reading and doing a tiny bit of writing, but for the most part it annoys me. I've never had an interest in spending a semester or two studying what would have influenced an author to write a book. In the end only the author knows what they were thinking after all. No matter how much my silly teacher tried to say otherwise. I never cared for biology either. It was okay I guess, but for the most part it bored me.

Darren was trying to concentrate on keeping track of the shipping, with all the chaos due to the arrest of Erica Kendrick and placing the High Council under house arrest, things were getting ugly. But it just didn't matter, as much as he wanted to do his job, he couldn't quit thinking about Kerstin and wondering just who the student Daniel Timbers was that had been taken with her. Jared had already explained what had happened as well as why Blaine had even bothered to kidnap Daniel as well, but still, in the end Darren just didn't understand it. Oh he understood why Blaine kidnapped them, he just didn't understand the mentality behind thinking such a thing was acceptable. Frustrated he turned the terminal off. Making decisions when he was upset would only cause problems and it wasn't like those who worked in his office couldn't handle things. [I]Gods, I'm so useless. I haven't a clue how to even find Kerstin and I'm too easily upset by things. [/I] He got up and went back to staring out at the view of space, his thoughts going back to all that had happened since his ship had been stopped in sector thirteen. He had thought his life had been turned upside down but now Darren knew better. All the other stuff wasn't worth getting upset over, it was Kerstin that mattered. [I]I'm a fool.[/I] He thought miserably. The chime indicating there was a new message for him sounded. Startled Darren turned from the view and walked back over to turn the terminal back on to retrieve the message. But the sender wasn't anyone that he knew. Confused he opened it to take a look and practically choked when he saw just what was in the message and feelings of pure panic and fear nearly took over. He contacted Jared, but when Jared asked him what he needed nothing came out. Darren tried to speak but instead tears just ran down his face, Jared just told him to sit tight and cut the communication. In no time at all the chime to his quarters sounded and Darren finally managed to get it together enough to let him in. Jared wasted no time and immediately joined him at his terminal, taking a moment to go through the message or rather video that Darren had been sent. "[B]Shit![/B]" Jared swore, "[B]Move Darren, I need to check this immediately.[/B]" Darren just nodded and moved out of the way, standing to the side while Jared pulled up multiple holographic windows, first to pull up the records of where the message came from and the second to contact someone else on the Creator. A moment later someone replied. "[B]What can I do for you Commander?[/B]" He asked. "[B]I'm sending you a feed on a message that was just sent to Darren's quarters. I need you to check it immediately and find out where it originated from.[/B]" He looked at something and then turned back to Jared, "[B]Got it, give me a moment sir, it looks like it came from a public terminal on the home world, but I'll run the program to check for alterations just the same.[/B]" Jared turned to Darren, "[B]Go and sit down.[/B]" "[B]But...[/B]" "[B]Just do it Darren.[/B]" Jared turned back to the data once Darren had taken the seat on the other side of the terminal. Once he had done that Jared muted the volume and replayed the video Darren had been sent. Even if he couldn't see it, hearing it again would only upset him further. For the video was one of the student Daniel lying on a floor unconscious with Kerstin on her knees next to him in tears, begging someone off screen to stop hurting Daniel. And since Daniel had disruptor restraints on him Jared had no trouble guessing what had happened. But unfortunately the video was carefully done to avoid showing anything that would reveal where the two were. "[B]Got it sir,[/B]" the officer working on the data finally said. "[B]It looks like the message originated from a public terminal on the home world after all. However, as you'll see in the data I'm sending you, they tried to make it look like it came from a different terminal altogether. Was there anything else?[/B]" "[B]No.[/B]" Jared terminated the connection and immediately contacted Sandra. "[B]Jared,[/B]" She said when she saw who it was. "[B]What did you need?[/B]" "[B]Take a look at this Sandra,[/B]" Jared sent her the video. Sandra turned away for a moment and then turned back, "[B]I see.[/B]" She said coldly. "[B]I'm heading down to check the location immediately Sandra, I doubt that the person who sent this is still there, but with it being a public terminal there will be a visual record and if not then who ever runs the place will be in serious trouble." [/B] "[B]Got it,[/B]" Sandra replied, "[B]I'll take care of things here as well as stopping by to check on Darren once I'm finished in a bit.[/B]" Darren watched as Jared closed all the windows and then shut down the terminal before turning to address him. "[B]I removed the video Darren. When the time comes it will be evidence against Blaine and frankly there's no reason for you to watch it again.[/B]" Jared paused for a moment, "[B]Besides, don't let it get to you. I know that's not easy, but don't let Blaine win, understand?[/B]" Darren just nodded, not trusting himself to speak. It was one thing for Jared to tell him to not let it bother him, but to actually be able to do it? [I]Kerstin. [/I] Jared walked over until he was right in front of Darren who looked up, "[B]I realize that ignoring something like that isn't possible, but trust me. Blaine will not get away with it.[/B]" Jared shook his head, "[B]Once I'm done I'll come and give you an update on what I found okay?[/B]" Darren just nodded again and then watched Jared as he turned and then left his quarters. He tried to not cry, he really did. But within a short time he couldn't help it. Darren knew what disruptor restraints were. Even if Kerstin hadn't been wearing any, the fact that Blaine had no qualms about using them on the other student Daniel only meant that Blaine could and would use them on her as well. If not for the confusion caused by the arrest of Erica and the High Council, Darren was sure that Blaine would have made sure to include instructions of what he expected Darren to do. [I]I'm so stupid.[/I] Darren thought. [I]I should have realized that some of the laws passed and things being done were due to others like Blaine forcing them to do it. After all the damn High Council forced me to become the shipping expert. [/I] Miserable he got up and went over and curled up on the sofa and just cried.

Well I gotta say that I definitely like the new header better than that black and gray guy that was up the other day. Now that you have this one up there's no question in my mind that it looks way better. And I agree with A_M it makes the word OtakuBoards stand out much better. ;)

Anyway...now I just need to start working on the counter rap to go against what White put up. I've got some ideas, but it's late for me so I'll probably get some sleep first.
