I don't think I've ever heard nor seen that before, that would have been news to me. I really don't think not seeling red or blue bandannas at Wal-Mart will curb gang violence or membership in any way, shape, or form. Gangs could easily go from wearing bandannas to wearing different colored bracelets or shoes or etc., the lsit goes on. It would not be constitutionally acceptable to stop selling certain colors of a product because some drugged up foo's decided to adopt them into their violent culture. Bah.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

It tastes pretty good to me, I just never got into the habit of drinknig it all the time. I usually drink tea maybe once a month, sometimes even longer than that. Well, I can't believe I started this thread three years ago and haven't posted in it yet, so here goes nothing. A lot of things happened last night on Raw, so here's a recap and my opinion on each draft move. [U]Superstars going to Raw[/U] [B]Rey Mysterio[/B] - I don't really have much to say about Mysterio's move over to Monday nights. He's been injured on and off for the past year so fans haven't seen much of him lately, so I suppose moving him to the most watched show will regain the fan's love for him. Here's to hoping he won't get injured again. [B]CM Punk[/B] - This move is much appreciated. I have nothing against ECW or its competitors, but it's obviously the C-Show in WWE. CM Punk has proved to be a top performer in many different companies, and so far in the WWE it's no different. I believe that he still has the Money in the Bank contract as well, so hopefully that aspect will come in to play down the road. [B]Batista[/B] - I don't really like this move. Batista established himself as one of the top competitors on SmackDown! for a long time, and now he's been ripped away from his home and placed onto a show that is already flooding over with an abundance of top performers. [B]Kane[/B] - This move pretty much guarantees that Kane will be dropping the belt to Big Show at Night of Champions, but WWE has proved me wrong in the past. This is another move I'm not too keen about. [U]Superstars going to SmackDown![/U] [B]Jeff Hardy[/B] - I like this move for a number of reasons: It's best for the company, best for Hardy, and best for the fans. Jeff Hardy has definitely stepped up his game as of late, only to be held back by numerous drug policy suspensions. I'm hoping he's finally learned his lesson and is able to thrive as a competitor for the WWE Championship on SmackDown!. Wait, don't I mean World Heavyweight Championship? No ... [B]Triple H[/B] - Biggest surprise move of the draft in my opinion. Either Trips isn't staying very long on SmackDown! or he'll stay on top there as well. This move pretty much leads me to believe that Triple H will retain the WWE Championship at Night of Champions against John Cena and that Batista will win the World Heavyweight Championship from Edge and bring the belt over to Raw. Well, that would make the most sense anyways. [B]Umaga[/B] - Pretty self-explanatory. Umaga became stale on Raw, so move him over to SmackDown!. Let him win a championship and then eventually he'll wither away into a new gimmick. [B]Mr. Kennedy[/B] - He just moved over to Raw from SmackDown! last year, and now I guess he's just going back. He never really made the impact I think he was supposed to make on Raw due to drug policy suspensions. [U][B]Superstar[/B] moving to ECW[/U] [B]Matt Hardy[/B] - This move really makes no sense to me. Matt was starting to finally break out after he won the United States Championship from MVP after their awesome fued, and then he gets switched to ECW, the C-show. I really don't know sometimes ... [U]Announcing Moves[/U] [B]Jim Ross goes to SmackDown! Michael Cole to Raw[/B] These moves make absolutely no sense to me. I know Jim Ross must have been [I]livid[/I] after he found out that he was moving to SmackDown!. He's been the voice of Raw since I was a small child and possibly even beyond and to move him so suddenly without any warning is like basically slapping him in the face with a fish and flipping him off in the process. Ross posted a blog stating that he was actually contemplating quitting the WWE last night after he got home from the show, but his wife talked him out of it. I hope this switch is taken care of sooner rather than later.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

The cereal ranges from Honey Nut Cheerios to Captain Crunch to Frosted Flakes. I always use 2% milk because, well, I've tried skim milk and it tastes too much like water to me, I'm sure it's just my tastes. On mornings when I have the time I'll usually whip up an omelet and some bacon, maybe even some sausage and toast if I have an abundance of time. I'll either make the breakfast myself or just head on down to the diner for breakfast, can't really beat a full continental breakfast for only $5. So this leads me to my question ... what do you usually eat for breakfast? Do you eat breakfast everyday or do you usually skip out on the most important meal of the day? [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

I don't believe that a spirit can physically manifest itself like many ghost chasers believe, rather, I believe that spirits lingering in purgatory have some kind of presence that people can sense. It sounds weird, but there is some evidence to back it up that doesn't sound crazy. Well, maybe it all sounds crazy. Now I'm contradicting myself. Bahh. I also don't believe that spirits are evil. But that's just me. I enjoy going to places that are supposedly "haunted", but usually come back with no solid evidence besides having the spooks. And whether real or not, a person can make a buttload of money if they earn a masters degree in paranormal psychology and are able to find a job, because I imagine that that type of service is not needed in most places. I saw it in some job outlook book my counselor showed us back in like 10th grade, but I can't remember the name of it. It said that a paranormal investigator's annual income was somewhere around $80,000-100,000. Pretty ridiculous.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT="Garamond"][SIZE="1"][COLOR="Navy"]Let's see ... Right now I'm pretty engrossed in [B]Persona 3 FES[/B] after finally finding it at small game shop over by my house. While I was there I also picked up a copy of [B]Fire Pro Wrestling Returns[/B] for the PS2, which I can already say after only three or four days is easily the best wrestling game I've ever owned. It gives you the ability to create 500 wrestlers for an overall amount of 800 and something wreslters in the game. For those that don't know, in WWE wrestling games the roster usually tops out at about maybe 60 - 70 wrestlers and 16 create-a-wrestler slots. One thing I don't like about the game is the fact that the graphics are only a slight step above Super Nintendo graphics, but in the end I got used to them and haven't looked back since. There are also over 2,000 wrestlings moves to choose from when creating a character, well above the number of moves possible in the WWE games. I can't believe the Fire Pro series has been around in Japan so long and is just now making its way into the States ... it's awesome.[/COLOR] [/SIZE][/FONT]

The past month for me has been tough and this seems like a good place to vent. Some information I'm about to share I have only told to a few people, but for whatever reason I feel comfortable unleashing it upon all of you. Enjoy. ^.^ I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but my graduation is approaching faster and faster and my family, friends, and teachers have been pressuring me to figure out what I want to major in in college. I've already decided to minor in French, only because it would be awesome to finally be able to fluently speak the language after spending four years trying to grasp it in high school. Anyways, for my college of choice, Valparaiso University, we were supposed to send in a payment of $90 and a filled out application for a mandatory freshmen orientation program called FOCUS. Of course I waited until the day before the application was due to turn it in, but low and behold, the day I was going to mail it my dad started having problems and we had to call an ambulance for him. My dad has had problems for almost the entire year so far. He had lymphoma a few years ago (a type of cancer for those who aren't aware) and last year it decided to creep back up and rear its ugly head again. He went in for chemo treatment and such once again, and everything was looking great until his gallbladder became infected and he had to have it removed surgically. During the surgery the surgeon accidentally sliced a piece of his intestine or something to that effect because everything was so infected, leaving him with a looooad of problems. He spent at least two months in the hospital with about eight tubes coming out of his stomach and pumping him liquids, liquid foods, and little calorie drinks which I forgot the name of. He was finally able to come home with all of the tubes still intact and about a week later he lost half of his blood through one of the tubes while I was mowing the lawn. Luckily my mother, a nurse thank god, was home and able to stabilize him and get me to call an ambulance. An interesting day, none the less. So basically my dad almost died that day, not just in my house, but also almost at the hospital a few times. He's doing better now, but he's still at the hospital. Anyways, all of that excitement completely made me forget about the fact that I had to turn in the application for the orientation program, so now I'm pretty much screwed. I'm already accepted into the college, I just need to call and straighten things out, hopefully they'll understand. Hopefully. On a side note, two of my friends have also been accepted to the college with a full paid tuition due to the fact that their families are not exactly on the positive end of the money spectrum. I'm left having to pay a boat load of money still through student loans, while my mom is having a fit because it costs too much. Oh, and my mother's also a raging alcoholic, which does not make the whole situation any easier. Thanks if you actually read the whole thing, I appreciate it. Also, I love cake.[/FONT]

As she grew so did her notice of an additional skill she seemed to have with her music, the seemingly supernatural ability to draw out the emotions of a packed auditorium of people in full force. When she approached her parents about it they shrugged it off as be "a natural effect of music on the human soul." Aria was not so convinced and worked to hone what she saw as a power beyond the normal. In her attempts to do so she set out into the world on her own shortly after graduation, seeking guidance in her studies, or at least a way to work them into focus. (Sorry if this is a lousy bio. Using her violin, she can cause the soul to fall into turmoil and thus allowing the emotion of wrath fill the heart. Pride has no family or friends, he only exists for himself and the Lord of the Underworld. [FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif][COLOR=royalblue]All right, I've been trying to come up with an interesting event that might shakes thing up, but this is all that I've come up with so far.[/COLOR][/FONT] [FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif][COLOR=royalblue]This idea is based on an online RPG I was involved in when I was younger, so all of the ideas are not really concrete. It was basically a glorified D&D rpg that would never admit it, but that's basically what it was. Members would join and get the basic starter equipment that everyone would start with, choose from a plethora of starting classes, choose their race, religion, and so on. The easiest way to describe it would be as a text-based MMORPG. [/COLOR][/FONT] [FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif][COLOR=royalblue]The moderators of the game would create different quests and events for their members, usually allowing only a certain amount of members per quest to join to keep it from becoming too crazy. Sometimes characters would be attacked by monsters and that's when the dice-based combat system would come into play, where monsters all had different hit points and attack ratings and the damage a character made was based off of the weapon they were using, obviously better quality weapons would do more damage. It seems like it would be boring, but with the randomness of the dice and such it would actually become quite addicting to participate in. [/COLOR][/FONT] [FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif][COLOR=royalblue]The system was a lot more indepth than I'm describing, but I'm just trying to draw some general interest in an idea. The rpg was run on an mRPG server, but I can easily see the system working in an AIM chat server or any kind of chat room that's able to utilize a random dice system. I know many OtakuBoards members love them some rp'ing, and some added activity outside of the boards may do us some good.[/COLOR][/FONT] [FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif][COLOR=royalblue]I know one thing I loved about this kind of rp system was that if your character lost all of his/her health on a quest, they were dead. For good. If you were close to dying you could have someone heal you or you could decide to give up on the quest, but if you died your only options were to either quit the rp all together or create a new character and start over. [FONT="Georgia"][COLOR="RoyalBlue"]This game is really really good. My mother and brother were going to the video store to rent movies and games, and they asked me if I wanted anything. I had no idea what to get, considering I still only have a PS2 and most if not all great games are coming out for the new generation of systems. So I decide to check a few online gaming sites for the top PS2 games, and low and behold, Persona 3 is at the top of almost every list. I had never even heard of the Persona series before, and with only the knowledge of it being a decent RPG, I told them to pick it up for me. Boy am I glad it was actually there. This game is down right addicitng. At first I wasn't too excited about not being able to do much on your own for the first hour of the game, but after I entered Tartarus for the first time I was definitely hooked. Making a persona was confusing to me at first, but once I got the hang of it I was trying to make more and more personas left and right. Over the course of two days I think I had already put a good fifteen hours into the game. give or take a few hours from leaving the game paused and doing something else. I had to bring the game back the day it was due, so right now I'm waiting to save up some side money and go out and purchase FES. I'm only a few days away from graduating high school, so I should have plenty of free time soon to enjoy the game even further, much to my girlfriend's dismay. [/COLOR][/FONT]

I figured GHIV would just be another rinse and repeat of the other Guitar Hero's, add some new characters, new venues, new songs, polish, and rinse. But ... wow. Those drums look amazing!! People are going to cry because now they have to buy another drum kit they have no room for, I being one of them, but I can compromise some space in the corner I suppose. Create a character is definitely a welcome feature that I think should have been implemented in GHIII, but beggars can't be choosers. I don't have much hope for the create a song mode just yet until I see how it will function ... I just have a feeling it will be one of those systems that's alright but will need to be improved in the next version of the game. Of course, that's just my early opinion, I'm sure I'll just drool all over the game by the time it's actually out.[/COLOR][/FONT]
