Name: Pride Age: Unknown, although appears to be in his late twenties Personality: Pride is the epitome of a prideful man. He believes that he is the best at everything, and in some respects it may be true. Thinking himself superior to the other sins in every way, Pride is probably the least liked among all of the sins. He shows leadership qualities among the disheveled group of monstrosities whenever they join together, but the group has no official leader as of this moment. Pride has no family or friends, he only exists for himself and the Lord of the Underworld. He was brought to the world of the living on a mission to collect the box to bring back his Lord and savior, although there are many obstacles that stand in his path. He is currently stationed with a few of the sins in a undisclosed location. Weapon: A sword created out of the negative energy invisibly swirling around him, but made visible when it is time to fight. (Think ... Royce had been with Travis for only a few minutes before he was already sick of his company. He knew that they worked well together as a team, but Royce just wasn't down with Travis's loner personality. If Travis was ying, then Royce was yang. But then, all of a sudden, Sindel went crazy, drawing the attention of all of the soldiers in the forest. Royce had a feeling that Sindel would be a little nuts, but he had no idea that she'd be this crazy. "Well ... at least it brings a little excitement to the table." Royce was excited for the challenge, but Travis seemed worried. "Royce, you're on your own. I need to make sure Madi is okay in this commotion." "Sure, go ahead. I can handle these guys alone." As soon as Travis ran off to help Madi he was attacked by a man with a large warhammer, but Royce was having his own problems. He had easily dispatched a small group of soldiers by himself, but not even a moment later two or three more groups of soldiers came charging into the clearing his team was currently positioned at. Royce decided that now was not the time to try to fend off that many enemies, so he ran as fast as possible and leapt right over the soldier's heads, landing safely a few feet from where the large man was confronting Travis. Not a moment later, a loud howl was heard throughout the forest. "Royce its Bravie, she's supposed to be with Madi, Go see if she's okay. I'm not sure if that was a I'm okay roar or an ouch that hurt roar." Reluctantly Royce followed Travis' wishes and ran off in the direction of the howl, trying to follow the familar scent of Bravie and Madeline. He manuevered past a few soldiers on the way, but eventually they caught up to him and he had no choice but to fight back. He pulled his katana from the sheath on his back and held it in the standard sword fighting position, taught to him by his late father. One soldier sniggered at Royce and lunged at him with as much intensity as he could possibly create, but Royce was much faster and dodged to the left of the soldier and drove his katana into the man's side, piercing flesh and crushing bone. The soldier screamed out in agony, signaling to his friends that they better finish this halfling off quickly before they fall to the same fate. Royce; however, was already moving towards the other soldiers and slashing the mdown one by one, before there body's could even react to the fact that they were being attacked and wounded. Each soldier fell to the ground, screaming with anguish. Royce ended their suffering with a stab at each man's jugular, then moving back on in the direction of the roar. "Hold on guys, I'm almost there!"

Royce had been with the others this entire time, although as far as they knew he was just off on his own again. Usually when the others thought he had wandered off, he was actually just up in a tree, taking a quick nap. It must have been the bear part of him, because he sure did love his rest, and at the moment, that's exactly where he was. But that did not last for long. Stretching widely and with a ferocious yawn, he started to slowly regain consciousness. Royce's least favorite part of a nap was waking up because it was in his opinion the hardest thing to do. Oh well, he thought, no time to beat around the bush. He remembered that right now their ragtag group of halflings was covertly camping out in the woods, trying to remain hidden from the GUK. Royce stood up slowly and stretched his legs out some more, trying to get rid of that tingly feeling a person sometimes gets when they've been sitting too long. Afterwards he did a somersault off of the branch he had been resting on, inadvertently right on top of Travis. BAM "Geez, what the hell man? What were you doing right under the tree I was sleeping in? Don't you know any better?" Travis stared up at Royce with extreme anger in his face and then without much effort tossed Royce from his body and headfirst into a tree currently opposite to them. Royce was not exactly one of the favorite members of Madeline's group, but no one could deny that he was a skilled warrior and not too bad on the eyes, making things easier with the ladies but made no difference with his male counterparts.

Uhh ... honestly I'm not sure. I can definitely tell you that only the first movie is being shown right now on those specific days, but I'm sure that if the movie does well enough then they will do the same kind of thing with the second movie. It's kind of a crap shoot. I have no idea if it will be subbed or dubbed.

I'm going to have to go with Drizzt on this one and agree that it can be really interesting given the proper care. So I'm all in. Name: Royce Age: 25 Personality: Loud, strong headed, egotistical, and intelligent. The kind of person you can't stand until you get to know them well. Appearance: Royce is lucky enough to be the spawn of a silly human woman and his very intelligent polar bear father. What?!?! Hey, this universe is different, don't judge. Royce has a shock of medium lengthed black hair that barely covers over half of his eyes and the kind of fangs that you would expect out of someone who is half bear. His arms are covered in sleek white hair, although his hands are just like that of a human. He stands at about six feet tall, give or take an inch or two. The lower half of his body is where the polar bear part of his DNA is in action, being entirely beast like. His legs are full of the sleek white fur as well and his feet are actually paws with razor sharp claws on the end. Although it's not completely necessary he wears a pair of dark blacks slacks to cover his manhood and a simple blue tee shirt to cover the fur on his chest and back. Women seem to be drawn to his icy blue eyes, although are turned off by his love of raw fish. Weapon: Considering the fact that he has human hands instead of powerful bear claws, Royce is forced to use a simple katana given to him by his father before he was killed. Abilities: Enhanced Smell: Bears are known for their powerful sense of smell, and Royce is no exception to that rule. They say a hawk can see a drop of rain hit the ground from a mile away, a rabbit will hear it, but a bear will be the first to smell it. Grizzly Rage: If Royce gets too angry, watch out. Kind of like a berserker rage in the FF games, only Royce's bearlike qualities become enhanced and it is impossible for osmeone to try to snap him out of it until he's either done his business or perishes. Extreme Fish Catching: Royce can catch fish pretty well. He's half bear. Come on now. Resistance to the Cold: Polar bear fur. Yup. Bio: Four years ago the governement made the mistake of breaking in Royce's home and slaughtering his father before his very eyes. His good for nothing mother did nothing to try to save her husband and instead was happily escorted to safety by soldiers who had stormed into the home. Royce had been hiding in a closet during the entire clash and was shocked to learn of his mother's betrayal to their family, but remained quiet so that he was not captured or killed as well. His mother had made the mistake of not telling the soldiers he was in the house, either being forgetful or trying to redeem herself to her son. Wrong choice, it was too late. After that encounter, Royce swore to himself and his father that he would avenge his family's honor by trying to take down the facist government that had corrupted their peaceful country. He also wanted to know what the hell was up with his mother. About a year before this story takes place Royce is a wanderer, searching from town to town for others like him. Others wanting a way to live free again. Relentless hunting of Royce has formed him into a prime soldier with polished and precise skills, although that has also given him a big head and the idea that he can never be captured. A chance meeting with Madeline Neko begins to weave his tale ...

This seems fun. Why not? Not enough man juice around these picture threads anyways it seems. Me ... last year I think with one of my friends Most recent picture, talking to the gf -
Wow ... seriously? There's no topic already about this mammoth of a game? This titan of terror? Seriously though, that's surprising. I haven't actually gotten a chance to play the game yet because my brother just bought it and is currently playing it, but as soon as I can get my hands on it I'll try to give a general overview of how the game really is. A few random things I've already heard out of my brother's mouth include: "Why can't I drive very well?" "Bowling?" "My date is ruined now because I killed three people on the way to her house." So if anyone else on the old boards have gotten their hands on this game, how do you feel about it? Does it live up to the expectations you had for it?

This topic is kind of funny because I went to see Ironman yesterday and after I saw the preview for Death Note the first thing I thought of was "I wonder who on OtakuBoards is going to post about this first." I've already watched the movie online so I won't be going to see it in theaters unless one of my friends can talk me into it, but I doubt it. Like others have already said, Ryuk and L were very well done.
Golden Sun should be given a sequel. So many questions left unanswered, a great storyline, good plot and characters, beautiful landscapes. It's great and I shun those who have never played it. Either way, rumors of a DS sequel ran high for a while and there just now springing back up. Camelot should do it.
Wow, I can't believe that I never even thought of the Golden Sun series. It was definitely one of my favorite RPG series on the GBA, not that that's saying much, but in all seriousness a sequel on the DS would be sweet. Oh, and to SunfallE, I actually do have the remake of Lunar for the GBA and I thought that it was very nicely done. It would be pretty cool if they remade Lunar 2 for the DS with extra content. I know I'd sucker in the money for it.

This topic is very interesting, as there are many games that I would love to come back that probably never will. Some of the games I'm about to mention may have sequels, but I'll explain individually: Another great Lunar RPG: I have no idea what is going on with Working Designs right now, or if they're even still a company, but it would be awesome if a new Lunar rpg was made for either the PS3, Xbox360, or hell, even the Wii. I know that there was a game made for the Nintendo DS called Lunar: Dragon Song, but at the time I did not own a DS and it seemed from what I read that it didn't really have much to do with the older games anyway. Maybe someone can fill me in? An actual good Crash Bandicoot platformer: Oh man ... the Crash Bandicoot games were definitely some of my favorite ways to waste the day away wen I was younger, but lately all of these new Crash Bandicoot reiterations are horrible excuses for the original games. It's obvious that a lot of the platforming spotlight was stolen by Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank, made by the same company that Crash was once the star of. Some of this information is probably wrong, but the major point I'm trying to get across is that I'm a sucker for nostalgia, so a new Crash game would definitely wet my whistle.

I have to say that right now I'm really enjoying Rock Band more than GHIII, but that's probably only because I've overplayed GHIII like crazy. I usually only play Solo Tour on expert guitar, and I'm currently stuck on Green Grass and High Tides's Solo #2. Sheesh, that solo is pretty ridiculous. I'll usually end up playing with my friends a few times a month, but not much more than that. It's also kind of a pain because none of my friends are really that ... good. They manage, but we always seem to fail the harder songs one way or another. I don't have XboxLive either, so no downloadable songs or online multiplayer for me. Hey there. Although I've been posting for a few months now, I suppose I should introduce myself because I'm not sure if anyone really knows who I am. My name is Jimi, hence JimitheGreat, and eleven is my favorite number. I'm 17 years old and I live in the United States, in a place where until recently anime and manga was not very popular. On these boards i'm usually either posting about a video game or television show I enjoy or trying to find an RP to join. I have a bad habit of becoming too busy while I'm involved in an RP and never posting anymore, but I'm trying really hard to just give myself like twenty minutes to not fall behind. It's definitely not easy. I'll bne graduating in a few months and heading off to college, which should be ... interesting.

Anime Everything I Need To Know I Learned from Anime
Neptune replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Otaku Central
When I try to think of an anime that has taught me anything useful in life, the first anime that come to mind is definitely NOT Dragonball Z. There are many reasons for this, and they're probably pretty obvious: 1. If you are angry because you don't have the strength to do something, spread both feet apart at shoulder length and while crouching hold your arms out in front of you as if you were flexing. Yell as loud as you possibly can and then get ready to try whatever you were doing again, because this time you will have the energy to complete the task. Ex.- Opening a mayonnaise jar. 2. If someone close to you passes away, go out and search for the dragonballs. No one is ever really dead, they're just hanging out in either HFIL or with one of the Kai's. It's all good. 3. Need an extra energy boost? Have someone beat the crap out of you. It will obviously lead to the reception of an enormous amount of strength, usually making you two or three times stronger than you were before the beating. 4. Can't fly? Purchase a jetpack. 5. Always carry around beans in your pocket. You'll never know when someone is going to try to kill you, and those beans can mean life or death. All kidding aside, I suppose Dragonball Z taught me important things like ... Friendship? Compassion? Love? Nah, not really. -
Okay ... I'm really sorry I haven't posted in a while guys. I honestly haven't had the time lately. I'm going to try to post either tonight or sometime tomorrow morning, but I don't think it should be any longer than that. If anyone could give me a brief summary of what's going on that would be awesome, because as of right now I've read all of the posts and I'm confused.

Fox did not care much for battle. Not to say that Fox hated battle, or that he was not skilled at battle, he just preferred ? to avoid conflict. There was a reason behind Jasmine only having a small amount of experience during this hellish war, and Captain Fox was that reason. Rather than rush into a battle Charizard?s a blazing, Fox would rather swoop in unseen, complete his mission, and get out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this was primarily not the way the Federation worked because of their vast manpower and ability to overpower the Coalition ten to one. The higher-ups of the Federation believed that the easiest way to victory was to completely obliterate their opponent, and although Fox wholeheartedly disagreed with those types of tactics, there was no much he could do about it. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a slip of paper with his next objective on it. It was a letter from Commander Jasmine, blatantly telling him to meet a man named Elocine in Saffron City and accompany his forces to the power plant on the outskirts of Cerulean City. ?Well, easier said then done.? Fox knew he would have no trouble making his way to Saffron City. Sabrina had been a member of the Federation?s forces long before he had even known a war was going on, and apparently this Elocine person was a well-known leader within her army. Fair enough. He must have a decent amount of experience to lead an operation like this. Fox was actually quite clueless about Cerulean City and it?s surroundings, having not spent much time in the Kanto region. He understood why he was not leading this operation, and honestly, it really didn?t bother him that much. He had learned from his Intel that the power plant was heavily guarded by Coalition forces, although none of the actual Coalition commanders were known to be stationed there at this current time. If the power plant was only being guarded by grunts, Fox and Elocine would have no problem sweeping their troops in and taking command of the base. Time to get this show on the road then. Let?s go Skarmory. He reached for Skarmory?s pokeball and lightly tossed it onto the ground, where it violently jerked for a few seconds. After a brilliant flash of blue light, Fox?s Skarmory stood by his side in all of it?s glory. It was becoming rare for a trainer to keep his pokemon in their allotted poke balls, but Fox still found it a quick and easy way to keep track of his comrades. He slung one leg over Skarmory?s back and then wrapped his arms tightly the pokemon?s neck, having no surface to actually hold on to due to the pokemon?s metallic base. ?Alright Skarmory, let?s head to Saffron.?

Name: Captain Fox Age: 32 Gender: Male Description: Here, Here Faction: Federation Commander: Jasmine Biography: Captain Fox's actual name has nothing to do with a fox or anything of the sort, the name being more of an alias than anything else. Fox was born and raised in Olivine city, although for the later ten or fifteen years of his life he hadn't even set foot in the city. Fox returned to his former hometown after hearing of the turmoil between the two regions, but other than that his actual motives of becoming involved in the war are unknown. He has been a long time friend of Janette, which helped quickly propel him to the rank of captain within Janette's own personal army. Captain Fox is also known for his sharp mind and excellent tactician skills, which leads others to wonder how Chuck became a Commander rather than he. When it comes to his actual training skills, Fox is known as a jack of all trades. List of Service Pokémon: Blastoise, Sceptile, Tyranitar, Skarmory, Garchomp P.S.- Is Janette actually supposed to be Jasmine, or somebody that I'm just not familiar with?
